Day 1, and they're gonna be keeping an eye out on the one person who is still unconscious after what happened, and they don't even know what will happen with her not around, or what will happen to Lincoln without his mom by his side. But, he has gone for some days or more without her, so chances he will make it. Enjoy reading this everyone.

Chapter 301: Waiting for recovery.

(Royal Woods General Hospital.)

We now go to the same hospital where the same fates happen to the folks who have been struck by damage, pain and near death, and it's mostly Lincoln and Luna Loud, and right now Luna Loud is on the bed and is bandaged after what she went through.

Lincoln Loud, is healed up and is sitting by her side and he looks like he cried so much after what he had to endure and what he had to witness.

Luna has some casts on her arms, and she's bandaged all over her body, and her face has some bruises that are slowly healing, and even her head is bandaged up around the top of her dome, they have to repair the damage she took to her head and it was pretty hard and painful.

Lincoln wipes away some tears and he holds her hand, even if it is bandaged he wanted to hold her hand. 'Mom, I wish I did come sooner, and then saved you from the trouble, and then made sure that bastard suffered more. Mom, I'm so sorry.'

'You promised that we'd be together and that no one would separate us, but that kind of promise can't be held, not when we have so many people who don't want us alive or around. I don't want you to keep risking yourself for my sake, I wanna help to, and I didn't do much to save you.'

'So much stupid shit is happening, and I couldn't do much. I took the risk and went in to save you and the others, but I wasn't fast enough, or even strong enough to stop him before he did anything else… Then, you took the hits and risked your life and now look at you…. Mommy, I'm sorry. I'm not strong enough.'

'Please. Please wake up, I don't wanna be alone, I want you to be here and for us to be family again. We already had to go through that stupid tour and we almost lost each other, then came that dumb Silver girl and then…. Now, I just…. Please, wake up, mom. I need you back.'

He then places a kiss onto her cheek and then he sheds some more tears, then he feels some arms wrap around him and those arms belonged to Jordan Rosato. "It's alright, Linc. We're all here for you."

Lincoln cries and he hugs back his girlfriend, and Jordan does what she can to comfort him, and soon another pair of arms joins in, and those arms belong to Sam Sharp. They do what they can to help him feel safe and alright, but that would be hard.

Then some others come in, and those folks are Delilah, Michelle, Harriet, Leni, Luan and someone who has recovered from her injuries, Katherine Mulligan and the sight of Luna Loud like this, breaks her heart.

She then speaks. "I… Thank you, for saving me and the others. I just….. I wish I did more to help."

Katherine wipes away her tears and she feels guilty for not doing more when she was freed and attacked, Jim Sparkletooth. Leni and Luan feel bad for her.

But then Lincoln stops sobbing. "How is…. How are you handling?"

Katherine is surprised he would ask her. "Well, my head is still hurting, and I'm not gonna be doing some news reports for the next seven days, and they told me that I will have this cast for the next 4 days. But, I'm doing well, and my bruises are all healing."

Lincoln nods, he was relieved that she was alright, but then he realizes. "What about Sid Chang and her mother?"

Michelle replies for that one. "Sid, is doing alright. She's recovering in Great Lakes City, and Ronnie Anne is making sure she's doing alright with some stuff that would make her happy. Though, she has some injuries she'll be stuck in for a week or two."

"But Becca, she went through something she thought she wouldn't have to face, and she's kinda scarred after what that bastard did to her. Her husband is doing whatever he can to comfort her, and she didn't suffer any critical injuries. She's….. Still healing."

Lincoln didn't like that news. "At least they're alright and doing fine." He then looks towards Luna, and she's still unconscious. "I just hope my mom can… I hope she'll wake up."

Then Delilah speaks. "Lincoln, before we went to see Katherine, and her condition. We spoke with Dr. Kendrick and he told us what Luna's state is. She suffered from several injuries on her arms and legs, but they'll heal soon."

Harriet then speaks. "Her head is the one that went through a lot of pain and endured so much damage, and they had to perform some surgery to ensure the damages weren't too severe, and so they managed to fix what they could. They just need to wait and see what happens when she wakes up again."

Michelle continues. "She'll need to stay for three days for observation when she wakes up, and Dr. Kendrick's wife will come soon, and she's a good physician and brain doctor. She can help with this, well she'll try."

Lincoln nods and he holds Luna's hand and he begins to shed some tears, then Katherine Mulligan sits next to him and she pulls him close. "Your mother was brave and did what she could, she'll be fine and at least she's awake. She wouldn't wanna give up, she knows you still need her."

Sam nods at the words from the news reporter. "She's right, don't let this whole thing be a depressing time to think she won't come back. Luna will be up on her feet again, we know it."

Lincoln sighs and he just continues to hold her hand, not planning to let go.

Leni on the other hand was now concerned of the worst case scenario. 'Wait, if Luna does wake up… Will she suffer the same fate as Lincoln did? She took a lot of hits to the head, and like when Lincoln was badly hurt, will she forget her son?!'

(The Loud House.)

We now return to The Loud House, and Delilah and Michelle along with Harriet are watching the fireworks display going on far at the Park, but in the bedroom shared by Lincoln and his mother, Sam is with him and the duo watch the fireworks from the beanbag chair.

Sam look to the kid next to her as he watches the lights show go on in the sky outside. Sam then runs her hand through his hair. "Are you alright, Linky?"

Lincoln sighs and looks to Sam with tears in his eyes, Sam feels heartbroken seeing him like this, and so she wipes away his tears. "Oh, Lincoln. I know how you feel." Sam then wipes away his tears and she kisses his forehead.

"Linc, I too feel like I should've done something, but you did what you could and showed far more courage than I could've and you took the risk to go in there and save your mother. I wanna do something to help her get back on her feet and wake up, but we need to wait."

"We don't know when she'll wake up, but she will wake up soon. She took the hits, because she wants you to be safe and alright, just as I want you to be as well. But be grateful that she's still alive, because she wouldn't want you to be alone, and would wanna watch you grow up and be someone better."

"Luna will be back, you'll see and everything will be back to normal again, I promise you." Sam continues to hug the boy that she also sees as her son, and she can feel him sobbing onto her shirt and she too sheds some tears.

Sam then looks out the window and she sees the fireworks show lights up with orange and purple lights. 'Luna, please wake up and come back to us. We need you back, you're the mother to thi boy and he needs the comfort, the one from the girl who swore to be with him, always.'

A/N: Luna will need a long, long while to recover from what she had to endure, so who knows when she'll awaken. As for Lincoln, he'll need to do what he did the last time she couldn't be with him, so he'll endure and wait. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
