So, this is Lori's Birthday and they are gonna be less than amused after the whole ordeal that has befallen onto them. Lori will need to know what they have planned, along with helping Lincoln cope with Luna being unconscious and not around for who knows how long. Enjoy this guys.

Chapter 303: Lori's B-Day Talk.

(Royal Woods Juvenile Detention Center.)

We now see Lori, along with her cellmate, Kendal and both are waiting for the folks who have come to see Lori, because she's turning 19. Lori seems nervous and Kendall sees this. "Lori, I get the nervous attitude you're getting, what's on your mind girl?"

Lori sighs. "Sorry, it's just… Lincoln, after what happened. I feel bad for him, he had to endure watching Luna get hurt, because she wanted to keep him safe and make sure he was gonna be alright. Well, he can't be alright after what she went through. I hope he's gonna be fine."

Kendall places a hand onto her shoulder. "Don't be so worked up on that Lori, he'll be fine. You know he's a tough kid, and that he can handle stuff on his own. I mean, things haven't been the same for some time, but he managed to pull through and so have you."

Lori was still upset. "I wish I could do more, but I can't and my consciousness won't let me leave this place and provide some form of assistance for him. I still wanna continue what I can do to help out here to those who wanna redeem themselves. I wanna be responsible, and yet I feel like I haven't been in a long, long time."

Kendall can see the real big picture here. 'She still seems concerned after the whole life changing ordeal, after she lost her family and everything she once knew. She's not alone in this, I should have a talk with the other girls we know here, to help her.'

They then see the main gate open and they see the group who have come to celebrate the 19th birthday of Lori. Lincoln, Sam, Michelle, Delilah, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, Luan, Leni, Carol, Dana, Becky, Roger, Whitney, Jackie, Mandee, Chaz, Tad and Joey. She even sees, that they brought a cake.

"Guys, you made it!" Lori goes over and she hugs her former siblings.

They depart from the hug. "We wouldn't wish to convey being away from the moment you were born Lori" replied Lisa. "We didn't bring you some gifts, but at least we're together."

"But, we do plan to give you what we have wrapped up, once you get out of here" replied Lola.

"So, in the meantime we all placed the gifts into storage" said Lana.

"The whole thing was Luan's idea" said Lucy. "She thought it would be fair to have them stored away."

Luan nods. "You're not planning to be released yet, because we know you wanna help the others in this place seek redemption, like how Leni and I do the same for those in the locations we were in. The gifts will be waiting for you, and when the time does come, we'll be there to watch you open each and every one of them, like a family."

Lincoln goes over and hugs her. "Just like old times, huh sis?"

Lori smiles at this. "Just like old times, bro." They depart from the hug and she sees the other teens. "So, you guys showed up. Thanks, this means a lot to me."

Becky chuckles. "Well, we weren't gonna skip out on the 19th birthday of the girl who made it to the varsity golf team in her freshmen years."

"Also, like the others, we got you some gifts, but we had them placed in storage" said Carol. "So, we got two storage units, and that would be a lot to open up when you do come out of here."

"We got some sodas so we can enjoy something to drink" said Chaz. He also shows them the boom box. "Also, some tunes to make this party a bit lively, this is the band you still love, Lori."

"We brought you a cake" said Roger. "We had to have it scanned through some machines here, we told them there was nothing suspicious in here. But to be clear, what kind of chocolate do you like again?"

Lori smirks. "Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate are alright with me, Roger."

Roger sighs in relief. "Thank goodness! I am so glad I didn't get the Bavarian chocolate cake, because that thing was so expensive and so delicious!" They all chuckle at this.

Lola then whispers to Roger. "Tomorrow, bring me to the place so I can see this cake and how much it costs."

Lori then speaks. "Alright, so let's get this party started, and Kendall here has something to show you guys that…. That she learned." They see Kendal with a bar of soap and she makes it disappear in her hands, and then she claps it again and she drops it from her palm.

They look in awe and go over to see what she can do, but Lori goes to Sam, Michelle and Leni. "We need to talk." The three girls know what she means.

(Moments later.)

Lori is now talking with Leni, Michelle and Sam in another part of the room and they watch as Kendall shows them something she has learned, and that something was her magic tricks and they seem like something beyond the Amazing Brailster.

"So, what the heck is with Kendall and that?" asked Sam.

Lori chuckles. "I blame the TV for that one. She saw the two shows about magic, they're reruns. One is called Cyril Simply Magic and the other is Mind Freak, and she's been practicing on something she could do, and she figured out the tricks of the magical trade."

Michelle chuckles. "So, does Kendall still wanna be a cop one day?

Lori nods. "Yeah, she still does. But the one thing that always fascinates her, is the tricks of magic and that long ago when she was a little girl, she wanted to be a magician, then that dream got slipped away and she won't tell me why. This is kinda like, Lincoln. Back then."

Leni nods. "Yeah, I recall those times, but magic is not on his agenda anymore. Not after what had happened with Brailster's show, recall that?"

Lori nods. "Yeah, he still has a new talent though. Comic book writing and music, just like Luna." she then looks down with concern. "How's Luna handling?"

Sam is the one who speaks. "Luna is in stable condition, but she hasn't woken up yet. The blow to her head was pretty harsh, and they had to perform surgery to fix some parts of the damage, but she'll pull through, as the doctors said. They just don't know when she'll wake up, and it's taken a toll on Linc."

Michelle then speaks. "He wants to keep going, he wants to continue with what Luna told him before, but we're gonna keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't lose his cool. He was pretty brave when he teamed up with Katherine Mulligan to kill that guy."

Lori is still surprised about that. "Yeah…. Knowing about that is still…. Well, kinda complicated to handle, because I didn't think Lincoln is capable of doing such stuff. He seems brave, that I know but to end up killing someone, that is a whole new Lincoln I never knew about."

Leni sighs. "Yeah, kinda makes me scared of him. I mean, he controlled a tank and rammed into the building triggering all the small bomb traps and then he fired a shot gun. Just to save Luna, Katherine, Sid and her mom."

Lori recalls the other victims. "How are the others who were victims?"

Michelle replies that one. "Okay, Katherine Mulligan is doing alright, she'll be back to her old self when a few days is over. She is still sore, and chances she wants to help with Lincoln after what he did, I think she owes him for what he did."

Leni continues. "Sid is doing whatever she can to be herself again, and her girlfriend Ronnie Anne is there to help her. I mean, Sid could've ended up in something far worse, they did find out Jim Sparkletooth planned to sell her, and that's just dark. This kinda made a lot of folks in the city outraged."

Sam then speaks. "Becca is…. She's having it hard. She might not be herself after a few weeks. She did got… Into something she didn't think would ever happen, and her husband is doing what he can, and chances Sid and Adelaide want to help her too."

Lori felt bad for this. "I just…. I wish that never did happen, that man…. God, this has been turned into a total cluster mess. Lincoln needs help, from those who can comfort him."

Sam nods. "He sees me like his mom too. I promised to Luna, and sure as hell I am not gonna leave him alone. Lincoln needs someone like Luna, because he has been looking up to her for a long time. You along with Leni and Luan knows this, right?"

Leni nods. "Yeah, that is true."

Lori also nods. "All started after Luna was allowed to hold Lincoln when he showed up. The best thing Luna had ever had in her life, was to hold her brother and see the cute face on him and he never forgot about her voice."

Sam nods. "Yeah, Lunes and Linc told me about that. We'll do what we can to make sure Lincoln is gonna be alright, but for now. We should enjoy this day, about you. Because that's what Lincoln wanted, he wanted to come here and for everyone else to be part of it.

Lori smiles. "Leave it to Linc to do that one, the man-with-the-plan." They then head back to the others and enjoy the cake and drinks they brought with them. Then something comes into Lori's thoughts. 'If Kendall is gonna be a cop, I think I should too. Because I wanna do my part and help protect those who need help the most, especially my former family.'

But then Lori looks between Chaz and Leni and something else comes to her mind. 'Is Chaz okay with Leni dating some other guy? Does he still have a crush on her?'

(Royal Woods General Hospital.)

We now see Lincoln, holding onto Luna's hand. She's still unconscious, but she's alive and this makes Lincoln sigh. "Mom, I know it's not gonna be an easy god damn ride, without you. But I know you wouldn't want me to keep doing this and asking for you to come back. I have to be patient."

"You'd want me to wait, and to continue with what I have left. I went through this before, when I got my god damn memories back, and I had to wait for you to wake up. That was kinda the biggest regret I could ever gotten, to lose my memories of you, and to let you try to help me get them back."

"I'll be patient, and I will wait, I have Sam, Michelle and Delilah, and Harriet as well. The rest of the former family are in town, and they can help me get through this. I will be patient for you, to ensure that what you spoke to me won't be forgotten. I'll keep living for you mom."

Lincoln goes over and he kisses her cheek, and then her forehead. "I love you mom, I always will. When you wake up, we'll be together again." He then leaves the comic book he made. "Bill Buck said this comic was great, and that they're making copies to sell, and I want you to have the original one I made."

"I know you're proud of me, as Sam and the others as well." Lincoln then sees the door open, and he sees Sam come in.

"Linc, time to go home." Lincoln nods and so he leaves the room to meet with Michelle, Sam on the other hand goes over to Luna and places a kiss on her unconscious girlfriend's cheek. "Luna, I promise you that I will watch over him, I will keep him safe. I will not leave him alone, he needs me."

Sam then places the necklace that Lincoln gave Luna, and into the hand of Luna. "We'll be waiting for you, see you when you wake up, babe." Sam then leaves the room and she closes the door.

Luna's hand slowly closes and she holds onto the necklace, and has a warm smile on her face.

A/N: Lori's 19th birthday, and a talk about dealing with how Lincoln has to keep living through even with Luna not around, and it seems like Luna might be awake, but very soon, so we have to be patient for what might come next. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
