Time for a dang racing day, and to see the guy who races the aces, the rookie of… Yeah, it's Kurt Logann and he's gonna be showing what he can do on the track. Though, most folks will be cheering for Bobbie Fletcher, and yes Luna is still not awake. Enjoy reading this everyone.

Chapter 305: Racing Weekend.
(July 10, Royal Woods.)
We now go to the Royal Woods Race track and this is where they are holding the big summer season grand race, and this is where we see the icon, Bobbie Fletcher lock and load for her big race, and she's got some competition and I do not mean the other race cars.
The rookie from Sweet Water, Tennessee and the son of legendary and former racecar driver, Jeremy Logann, the kid who is 19 years old and a top gear races, Kurt Logann!
The many racecars are being checked by the pit crew, and one of those pits are Bobbie Fletcher, and she has some guests with her. Lincoln, Sam, Michelle Lewis, Delilah and Lana Johnson, and they watch as the racecar is being refueled and have the tires checked on.
Bobbie then goes to the group. "Hey gang, glad you all showed up and sorry about your mom. Sure wish she was here to watch this whole thing, but I know she would wanna see you guys go through with your lives."
Lincoln nods, and he goes over and hugs the racecar driver and she returns the hug. "Yeah, I get the whole ordeal kid. We're all upset about it, and I just wanna say sorry for what happened. I wanna do something, but I…"
They then depart from the hug. "We know, Ms. Fletcher, you have your own stuff to do and we know that the big ending race is on New York, and we can't be sure who wins and who loses. But we know for sure that you're gonna give it your all."
Bobbie Fletcher smiles hearing this. "Well, thanks little Loud." she then stands up and looks to Sam. "Glad you're stepping up to watch over him, a good mother figure the same as Luna."
Sam nods. "Anytime, and I would never ever let Lincoln be alone, he needs me as he needs Luna. Also, thanks for letting Carol be the one to perform the American Anthem." They see Carol and the small stage setup.
Bobbie smiles. "Well, the original plan was to have Luna perform, but with the whole things changing, I think it's best for this gal to try it out. Also, this was Lincoln's back up plan."
Sam looks towards Lincoln and chuckles. "What? This wasn't my plan. Mom made this plan, if she can't do it, then she wants Carol and her voice to be the one to perform. Sorry she didn't tell ya."
Sam smiles. "No, it's all cool, little buddy. What matters is that this day gets an awesome intro before the race starts. Luna would've loved this, and she knows we should all, and what the heck is Lana doing?"
They all spot the Johnson twin looking at Bobbie Fletcher's Car, and she's fascinated.
Bobbie Fletcher goes to the little girl. "Hey there, kid. I might wanna step back, she can pack a big blow when she starts her engine."
Lana smirks. "Sorry, it's just… This is a true honor to be here, with my hero!"
Bobbie chuckles. "Lincoln did tell me all about you, and I am honored to meet a little girl like you with a very dang good interest in cars." The duo continue to talk, and then Lincoln and Sam turn around and see Leni speaking with Kurt and they both hug each other.
Then the duo go towards Lincoln and Sam. "So, this is it. Time to race and see if I can win this thing" said Kurt Logann. "And I don't even need no luck, I know I got my family watching me, from back home."
Leni giggles. "Yeah, this is gonna be something he can win. But, there might still be a chance for you to qualify for the finals race right? How many cars have to participate for the finals in New York City?"
Kurt then recalls. "Ten or Twelve racers, all I gotta do is qualify and I can advance to the big prize in the Big Apple. All I gotta do, is keep up and it's a big win for me."
"That is, if you can ace it" said Bobbie Fletcher, she walks towards the rookie. "Well, well. Jeremy's boy, glad to see you. Last time I saw you, you were a little sport and my uncle knew you're dad long ago, back when they were racing each other."
Kurt Logann chuckles. "Yeah, my dad told me and it sure was an intense and awesome race. But, can you keep up with the new kid on the block, who signed up National College of Motorsport in Phoenix?" He then gets a high five from his team, The Nick Motorsports.
Bobbie chuckles. "Oh, you think you can be faster than me? Well, we'll let the race cars speak and the track too." They both look to each other, with the eyes of very competitive racers and a family legacy.
The others notice this and slowly back away, but Lana takes a picture of this and then goes back with the others. Delilah writes a story about this, and she is a bit interested at this racecar competitive nature.
"Well, this is super-awkward" said Lincoln.
(Later.)
The race has begun and the racecars are all racing down the track and Bobbie Fletcher is ahead of all of them and she bypasses three other race cars, and she has the feeling that she can… Then she sees another car is catching up, and this one belongs to Kurt Logann.
Kurt looks to Bobbie and he waves, and then he advances ahead of her. Bobbie smirks. 'Oh, it is so on!' She then picks up speed and tries to keep up, and now the two cars are neck and neck and they are both tied in speed and being the leaders.
The two race cars keep the lead and haven't even left the position they're in. All other racecars are all behind, but up ahead and after 16 laps, Bobbie Fletcher and Kurt Logann are both ahead and tied, trying to outgun the other, but the other catches up and they both maintain the tied lead.
The others watch this from the pits and they have already seen Kurt and Bobbie come to the pit stop like 3 times and at the same time they race off and retained their tied lead.
"At this point, I think they're gonna be tied to win first place" said Michelle.
"This is insane and super-fast" said Lincoln. "I mean, both sides have a very fast pit crew."
"This is just so cool! I mean, we're watching the actual race happen and its Bobbie Fletcher and rookie, Kurt Logann!" said Lana. "The Nick Motorsports team is dang fast too!"
Sam whistles at the speed. "They are fast, and to be honest with you guys… I can see just how smoking hot Bobbie Fletcher is. No offense, but I am a lesbian."
"No, worries" said Lincoln. "Mom also said the same thing. She too finds Bobbie Fletcher attractive."
Then Lana notices something. "Oh boy." They see at the crowd, is Lola and she is sitting with her mother, Agnes Johnson. Lola is waving a sign to cheer for Kurt Logann, and this makes it awkward for the others. "Yup, she has a crush on him."
Leni giggles to this. "That is pretty sweet of her to do so, but it's just a small crush and soon it'll fade away." Leni has no idea, that it won't and they continue to watch the race go on.
While the race is happening, up by the private seats, we see this dark-skinned woman with black hair, glasses, blue suit and skirt and she smiles at this tied first place race between Bobbie Fletcher and Kurt Logann and this has her interested. "Well, well. This seems very interesting."
(After the Race.)
Everyone celebrates and cheers, at the ten racers who are advancing, and the two who tied in first place: Bobbie Fletcher and Kurt Logann, and the duo wave to the crowd who is cheering for them.
Kurt then whispers to Bobbie. "Come New York, you and I are gonna see who is the fastest on the track."
Bobbie then whispers to Kurt. "Oh, oh. It is so on, Rookie. You don't know how skilled I am on the track."
Lincoln, Leni, Luan, Sam, Delilah, Michelle, Lana, Lola and Agnes Johnson notice this. "So, anyone here notice the competitive nature between them?" asked Lincoln. They all agree.
"That's totally normal, Lincoln" said Lana. "In fact, I am cheering for both of them. Because dang, Kurt was fast out there and kept up with Bobbie too!"
They continue to cheer for the races who are going to advance to the finals race. Someone watches this from the back of the crowd and it's the same woman who was watchin the race. Who is she? Janette Wilder, the top and ace Head Hunter for Jackpot stars who could become big time hot shots.
Janette smiles when she looks to Kurt Logann. 'Well, well. Seems like the rookie wants to be at the top of his game.' Then she sees Kurt get down the stage and he runs over and hugs Leni. 'And he's got an eye for someone, I can see a family man. Just like his father.'
She then walks to her car. 'In time, when the time is right. Then Kurt will need help, and I am the manager for the job.'

A/N: A good race, which was awkward when the veteran meets the rookie, but it seems like Kurt may have made his future path made, and the head hunter is gonna make sure his future is something to look forward too, along with the others he sees as family.
