Chapter 322: Earning back something.

(July 30, the Loud House.)

It has been a day over since the whole issue that happened between Lincoln Loud, and that damned parrot from Great Lakes City, Sergio Casagrande. Luna comes out of the bathroom and she's already changed for the day. She then goes into the room she shares with her son.

Luna spots Lincoln on the bed and he looks to his bag, which is messed up and the empty safe nearby. Luna goes over and sits by his side and she places her hand on him and rubs his back. But she gets no response from her son.

After the whole ordeal from July 28, Lincoln has been silent. He cried himself to sleep and kept blaming himself for the sole reason for the loss of the cash, but they have been trying to tell him that this was not his fault. He just got caught into a swindling and threatening mess, with an option he didn't wanna commit to, but had no choice.

After the whole thing, Lincoln stopped crying and he remained silent. He never left the room, or the house unless it was to use the bathroom and so they had to bring his food to him. He didn't seem to show any signs of emotion and didn't wanna talk to anyone.

Heck, he won't even respond to the calls and messages from his phone, and would turn it off. He even blocked the number of Ronnie Anne and Sid, CJ and Bobby. It was almost like a defense inside of his triggered and marked those from Great Lakes City, as those he never wants to talk to.

The only person he would rather be around, is his mother Luna. Along with Sam Sharp, he feels like he needs comfort from those who he promised he would get them an amazing and unforgettable gift, but now he doesn't have the money to get them what he plans to make.

Every night, Luna would see Lincoln climb to her bunk so he would spend the night with her, and she knew that he's doing this because he's getting nightmares, of that damn bird and his threatening ways. Luna didn't like to see her son like this, he hasn't even touched his unfinished comic book either.

Luna looks to her son, she then holds his hand but he does not respond. "Lincoln, don't blame yourself again. This wasn't your fault, remember? Sometimes we get caught into stuff that we don't see coming, and all of us didn't see everything coming."

"You did not end up making the wrong thing. You were put into a corner where you had no choice, and I understand that this was a total mess and now Sam and I know about the whole surprise gift thing, but we don't want you to beat yourself up over that, even at the whole close reveal about our self-defense classes from other worldly folks."

Lincoln doesn't respond still, but he does hold his mother's hand.

Lincoln then leans onto her shoulder and he begins to shed some tears, and this causes Luna to hug her son. "Shhh, everything's gonna be alright my wayward son. Everything's gonna be okay now. That parrot is not coming back, and you made your point to him for what he did."

Lincoln just sobs into her shirt and shivers from his mistake. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry, mom. I'm, so sorry!"

Luna has some tears of her own and she continues to embrace her son, to calm him down and show him that this was never his fault for this outcome. "Linc, you were blackmailed and made to do something you didn't want to. You didn't wanna ruin what you had planned, and I forgive you."

"Please, Lincoln… We're gonna fix this, we'll help you. All of us, don't be this way my son. Please, Linky." Luna kisses his forehead and then she hums a soothing tune to calm him down. But he still cries and apologizes for what he did.

At the door, Michelle, Delilah, Sam, Harriet and Jordan notice this. Then Sam closes the door and looks to the others. "So…. What do we do now? Linc lost the cash he earned, and I don't think any of us care about the many bucks he was told to spend for some dumb birds and they're needs."

Harriet sighs. "I have one. I bring forth dreaded nightmares to Sergio and make sure they terrorize him until he dies, or until he chooses to take his own life. That parrot doesn't deserve to live, and I also wanna question why he's like this. Something tells me, Rosa spoiled him."

Delilah then thinks. "Well, mom and I have this plan. It involves FutureTech, and sorting out how they can pay back some of the cash, but mostly all the cash that Lincoln earned, which is the same cash that flying colored rat spent."

Michelle nods. "If memory serves, the FutureTech boss Martin McKenzie is a top notch man of the law who can have a solution to pet an end to this and make sure they find some way to pay back the cash Sergio spent, but not the cash that Lincoln was told to use up."

"Because we're still super rich, I mean we share the same cash account with me. I have a lot of cash given to me from my great grandpa when the will was red. We just want the money that Sergio stole from Lincoln's savings. He wanted to use it for…" They look to Sam. "For you and Lunes."

Sam sighs and crosses her arms. "Sooner or later, those Casagrandes are gonna make the call for us to come to them and hear them out. Hell, I don't give a two nickel shits on what they have to say, Just as long as they can fix what that dead beat bird did, I don't even care about the pigeons we knocked off."

Jordan then recalls. "Yeah, many of the dead pigeons have been checked if they were healthy, and those who were healthy were sent off to the local French cuisine restaurants. So, Jean-Juan's has this pigeon special, but we should keep Lincoln away from it. He sees a pigeon, or parrot, then he might snap."

Harriet nods. "Agreed. Sergio left a deathly mark on Lincoln. The sight of a pigeon will make him recall what the other pigeons made him do, and if he sees a parrot that matches Sergio, then he'll tear that bird apart feather by feather. I'd like to see Lincoln finish off that bird."

Jordan looks to Michelle. "Is there another plan besides the FutureTech head honcho?"

Michelle nods. "Neil A. Spellman, he is still a man who knows his lawyer skills, and he is the reason why the louds from the other world ended up separated. The dang bad luck fiasco, in which he was called by the other Jordan's father, Rick Rosato. Neil might help, by sending the Casagrandes and Sergio to court."

Delilah sighs. "Well, a part of me thinks we should just have Sergio come to face the trials of court. The other Casagrandes had nothing to do with his damned actions, but knowing Rosa…. She'll try and defend her precious spoiled flying demon. Why is Sergio even alive?!"

"I mean, I recall that when Ronnie Anne, Bobby and Maria went to Great Lakes City, Bobby said that he questioned that Sergio is still alive. I wanna see that flying dead beat die too. Sergio is nothing but trouble and a nuisance to everyone else. Rosa made a mistake with Sergio, and now they're all paying the price."

Michelle then recalls. "The whole thing began with the Tamales Truck and trade ordeal. Sergio got the whole outcome from that shit incident and now look at where it's gotten him, in trouble with us. Sergio won't make it alive if we go back to Great Lakes City."

"Like Harriet said, if Lincoln sees a parrot that looks like Sergio, then he's gonna snap and tear him apart." Harriet smiles hearing that.

Sam then speaks. "That is, if Lincoln wants to go back to Great Lakes City. If we're to go there and hear them out, we'll need to wait for Luna to calm him down and then ask him. This is their choice too." That one they all agree on.

Jordan then goes through her phone. "Well, looks like the whole bird blackmailing news is still trending. Who knows what Ronnie Anne and her family are dealing with, that parrot has brought trouble to us, himself and to his own family."

They all open the door slowly and they see the heartbreaking moment of Lincoln continuing to cry into his mother's shit, and this angers Sam about what he had to endure. 'We promise you Lincoln. That damned parrot is not gonna get away for what he did to you!'

(Later.)

Luna is sitting on the beanbag chair, and pointing to the window as the sunlight is upon them, and she looks to her snoozing son, Lincoln as he snuggles close to her. She notices the dry tears, he has been crying his heart out for what happened.

He lost the cash he earned, he wasted his time doing the bidding of this damned vile parrot, and he blames himself for wasting a lot of cash saved in their account. Luna sighs and she runs her hand through his hair. "Linc, I wanna help you. Let us help you earn back what you lost."

Just then she sees her phone vibrating on the table. "Must be Sam." Luna then sees a text message, from the one person she did not block yet, Ronnie Anne Santiago. Luna didn't feel sure about this. 'Ugh, she better have a good reason for this.'

Ronnie Anne. Luna, listen and don't ignore this message please. Now, we know that Sergio caused some major trouble and we're sorry it happened and right now, that flying painted rat is still at the vet for his deadly injuries and wounds. We're planning to do something to him for what he did.

My Abuela is deeply sorry for what happened, and she hasn't touched a single superstitious thing lately, and it seems to be a good thing too. We wanna talk to you guys soon, because we wanna tell you how much we're sorry for what happened and we have a plan to fix all of this too.

When you guys have the time, please come over to Great Lakes City. We'll meet at the Casagrandes apartment when you guys do plan to come, and also…. My mom made the plan, and we moved out of the apartment and so did the Chang's. We're moved in with my dad.

Bobby still works at the Mercado, and we sometimes visit the others to see how things are doing. The whole news about Sergio and his actions is going on within Great Lakes City, and now some folks in the apartment are beginning to think of moving to another apartment owned by Mr. Scully.

Sergio did start this, and he made it worse and I hope Lincoln is doing alright. He had nothing to do with this, this was Sergio's fault, and also… This may have been myself and Sid's fault. We'll explain why when you guys get here. Talk to you and Lincoln soon, but I know he blocked our numbers.

Luna knows that this message is sincere and she knows that they can't let this opportunity slide away from them. She then looks to her son and she has an idea. 'One you're finally calm… Then we can talk about going back to Great Lakes City. We have to hear out what they need to tell us.'

'They have a plan to fix this, and it seems only fair that we hear them out. But if I swear I see that parrot there, then I'll be the one who's gonna clip his wings and no one is gonna stop me. No one.' Luna places a small kiss onto his forehead and she hugs her son close to her.

While they both stay in this cuddling moment, they don't notice Sancho, who watches them from the window and feels bad for the boy. The damaged looking pigeon then flies off, trying to sort out on how to fix this, and he can start with tracking down the remaining living pigeons from the whole thing, but he needs help, and he knows just the place for some help.

The predatory avian enclosure of the Great Lakes City Zoo. They have some more pigeons to hunt, and thankfully, Sancho remembers all the pigeons who were there at the whole thing.

To be continued…

A/N: Soon, for when the time comes, then they're gonna go back to Great Lakes City and deal with what they need to talk about, but they should be careful, Michelle has a plan, and it involves someone from FutureTech to sort out this ordeal, that is if he is available. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.

Note: I don't hold anything against parrots or other colored birds of a feather, I just don't like Sergio.
