Now they have a new friend, and this friend has been around the town longer than them and has knowledge on the wretched Hazeltucky priest who was a total annoyance the other day. Some of you may know him from the other story I made called "Helluva Loud Adventures." Enjoy reading this guys.

Family of Two.

Chapter 332: Meet the good Priest.

(August 11. Royal Woods St. Herald Church.)

The following vehicles arrive, which are from the Louds, the McBride's and with the Louds is Sam Sharp, and Jordan Rosato. They even brought Lucy along, no idea why. Even Harriet is there, and she smiles seeing the place.

'A lot of good…. Wait, I only had a few good memories here. The rest was… Unsettling.'

They look upon the statue of Christ and Michelle does the sign of the cross and they all make their way to the church. Lincoln is amazed by how big it is, and Lucy is fascinated. "This is the oldest church in Royal Woods, but the fifth oldest in all of Michigan."

"She's not wrong" said Delilah. "This is… Wow. Well, I know this is my second time in a church, since we all know when all of us entered a church for the first time." They all recall that one, baptism for the baby, and heck Luna knows that, and so does Lucy. But deep down, she has second thoughts.

'Not a fan of that stuff, but the whole gimmick of this world being the opposite of darkness intrigues me, and because darkness and light cannot exist without the other.'

They go through the doors, and Harriet stumbles for a brief moment. "Yeah, I think this place still knows me. Makes me regret doing witchcraft back then." They all remained silent and continued down the halls, then they spot the man himself, Father Roland Chisel sitting onto one of the chairs and going through a book.

The man gets up and sees them and smiles. "Hello, everyone. Good to see Luna and Lincoln, and also Lucy here… A lot of good…. Well, sorta good memories when I saw you three long ago."

"I don't think I remember the dude who baptized me when I was a baby" said Luna. Even Lincoln and Lucy don't remember, and same with Clyde.

The priest nods. "Well, that was a long time ago and I wasn't the man who baptized Luna Loud, that whole thing was the priest from many years ago, before I came to take the threshold and maintain the place, and I do recall…. Lucy…. That was…. Quite unique."

Lucy is surprised. "Oh, you saw my eyes. Well, what did you think?"

"Well, they did seem out of place, and I did question why you're mother and father would cover them up" said Father Chisel. "But, you were anything than different, you were special and those eyes were the meaning of it." Then he recalls something. "You didn't cry, you just… Stared at me."

They all went silent and the whole place just got awkward. "Well, not the first time for some of us" said Lincoln. "Also, do you know Great Grandma Harriet?"

The priest looks to Harriet Willard and she waves to him. "Umm, no I don't, Sorry, I don't think I have met her, and I doubt I was born during her time. But, I did recall in the news that you quite the expert in witchcraft and all the sorts."

Harriet nods. "I haven't been to church in 50 years before I died, and I was above 90 when I passed, and my reasons to not be at church are…. Not to be told."

Roland Chisel nods. "So, I suppose all of you are here to know more about the man who all of you faced the other day, right?"

They all nod and then Harold asks. "Father, why was he like that? I mean, he seemed to act like those priests from the old times."

Howard then speaks. "The way he mentioned us as horrible people was not right, he had no rights to just bother us like that when we clearly weren't doing anything wrong. Who was he?"

Father Chisel then walks to the table near the stage and the others follow, he then shows them some old files and pictures. "The man's name is Alfred Goodman, he was an old friend of mine, but then he fell into dark times and all because he started reading some old-fashioned stuff after the fall of a twisted holy cult group."

Lucy is surprised. "A twisted holy group? You mean, like people who don't like others and wanna make the world better like the olden times?"

Roland Chisel nods. "Indeed, Lucy Shapiro. This group was a menace, and Goodman and I were sent to track the group down, disguised as your everyday church folks, because they wouldn't suspect the best from the Vatican and yes we worked closely and were taught at the best and prestige at the Pope's."

"Then we shattered the whole group, and that was eight years ago, after that I didn't know that Goodman snuck into the vault and went through the notes from the group we tore down, and he may have fallen into the darkness of the reading material that group used."

"He began to rant and rave about words that would do good, but many folks found him rude and intolerable to handle and he was banned from so many places throughout Europe, and word went back to the Vatican and they had to deal with this man, and so he was removed from the side of the group."

"I was deeply disappointed in the man I once called my old friend and he…. I just wish I could've helped him, and I tried to, but he said that I was nothing to him. Alfred Goodman has lost his ways and he has become nothing more than a man who wants to make the world, into the image he sees."

"Then they had him sent to this country, and I was on watch to maintain on him. We can't arrest him, because he hasn't done anything that is worth a lot of prison time, but I am keeping a really close eye on him for when the time comes, then the holy community will have a reason to send him away, for good."

"I feel bad for the folks at Hazeltucky who have to endure him, but ever since he took control of the church there. The folks have not been in that church for the past six years when he showed up, and now he's made it into his little hideout and the police there are keeping an eye on him."

"The only thing he has been doing was ranting and raving at the streets and the police just tell him to leave and he does so, there have been no reports of the man harming someone or doing something physically, but I fear he might do something. Also, he might not be done with all of you, not after what he might now know about the Louds."

This didn't sound good for Lincoln and Luna, they now know that Alfred Goodman might come for them, and the same goes for the rest of the former louds and Clyde. "Well, glad we're taking self-defense training classes with some special back up" said Sam.

Luna nods. "Sammy's got a point dude. That man thinks about coming for us, then he's gonna get hurt. We're gonna do what we can to defend ourselves, and keep each other together from whatever he has planned. Thanks for telling us about this father."

Father Roland Chisel nods. "You're welcome, and I'll do my part to make sure that former pal of mine doesn't do anything else harmful or hurtful. Also, just to let you all know, I am alright with the same gender relationship you all have. Because that is how you all care for each other, and would see what else is there for the future."

This makes Howard, Harold, Luna and Sam smile. They felt as if there is a glimmer of light within the darkness that would accept who they are and what they choose, and possibly this might be going the same for those who are also into the LGBTQ gig.

Clyde then checks his watch. "Guys, we need to go now. My dad's next community service is in one hour." They all take their leave.

Then Sam looks to the priest. "Thanks again sir, and we look forward to meeting with you again."

Father Chisel nods. "As do I, Samantha Sharp. Go forth everyone and stay safe, and always remember that family comes first."

Luna chuckles. "Always, dude." They all take their leave and even Harriet who has to guide Lucy as she's too interested in the stained glass.

But then Father Chisel sees the wallet of Michelle all from her bag, he goes over and picks it up.. "Excuse me, Ms. Lewis. You dropped this."

Michelle turns around and sees this. "Thank you, father." As she takes the wallet from him, their hands touched and this makes Michelle blush. "Umm, thanks again sir."

Father Chisel casts a warm smile onto her. "You're welcome." He waves as Michelle leaves, and Michelle is surprised by what happened, and she feels happy at what happened, and she doesn't even notice her daughter, Delilah saw everything and this makes her smirk.

(Outside.)

The group leaves the church and then Howard looks to Luna. "Ms. Loud, thank you for standing up for us the other day."

Harold nods. "We didn't think you'd be helping us during the times of what we did to the rest of you last year. We're still sorry for that one."

Luna nods and smiles. "Hey, we may have been ticked off at what you guys did, but that was the past and we know that you two have seen the error of your ways and we respect the love you dudes got for each other."

Lincoln then speaks. "And even though you guys keep helicoptering Clyde, I wouldn't wanna break the friendship we have, because you guys are doing what you can, and also learning to back off and let Clyde handle some of things he can face, because Middle School is coming, and like me, he's growing up."

Clyde nods. "He's not wrong, my dads have changed and I'm proud of you guys for becoming different from the old Howard and Harold McBride." Hearing that was making Harold and Howard proud of their son.

Then Howard checks his watch. "Well, we should get going now. Our next community service is in…. The Royal Woods Community Pool?"

Harold is confused. "Huh, so what the heck are we doing there?" The McBride's go into their car and they drive off. Lincoln waves to Clyde who waves back, he is gonna be dropped off at Zach's, to watch some antique stuff on TV.

The louds all head back to their rides and they drive off, but then Delilah asks. "So mom, Father Roland Chisel huh?"

Michelle blushes red and continues to drive. "Delilah, stop talking and leave it be. Please. I just… I need to get to work." Delilah stays quiet and then she sends a text to Luna, Sam and Lincoln. They need to have a discussion about this.

To be continued…

A/N: Now they know who they're up against and what he might do next, as if Selena Williams wasn't enough, now they got this man to deal with, but at least they have a new ally, who also will watch over the next possible sign of trouble. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
