So, now it's time to go and visit Rita and Lynnard, and tell them how everything has been going throughout their time even after getting facing other enemies who attempted to kill them, and also a new trouble who might be a threat to all of Royal Woods. Enjoy reading this everyone.
Family of Two.
Chapter 334: Checking on the former parents.
(August 13. State Michigan Correctional Facility, Lansing City, Lansing.)
The main doors of the room open, and right now Lynnard and Rita go over towards the tables and chairs and they wait for the two kids who were once family to them, and the duo seem nervous.
"So, still reeling in from what happened last month?" asked Lynnard.
Rita nods. "Yeah, I mean I didn't think Luna would've lost her memory and forget who she was and it reverted back to that…" She then turns her hand into a fist. "That stupid bad luck incident, and glad they don't recall the day it all began too."
Lynnard nods. "Yeah, I don't even know how Lincoln felt when Luna wasn't the same one as he knows and loves now. It must've hurt him inside, but we both know that Lincoln would've figured something out to make things right and help her regain who she is."
Rita nods. "Yeah, he's smart like that and he would do whatever it takes to make things as they were before, but for us that might not be his ordeal. We need to fix our own problems."
Lynnard nods and he holds his wife's hand, the two share a small kiss, and then they hear the doors of the other side open, and coming through are Lincoln, Luna, Sam, Michelle and Delilah. The two former loud parents get up and go over to them.
Rita is the first to speak. "Hey, are you guys doing alright?"
Lincoln is the first one to respond. "Well, we're doing alright. We have been through some hard stuff to get over."
Sam then pulls him close. "We have been through a whole lot of bad messes, but at least we managed to pull through and face them all with a good ending, along with some slight bruises in the end."
Lynnard nods. "Yeah, we know and heard. Word tends to go around fast here and we're sorry that you guys had to endure so much trouble. Especially the whole memory erase ordeal and that ding dang tour too. But, at least you guys are safe."
Luna nods. "Thanks dude, and it looks like things have been less problematic here, right?"
Rita chuckles. "You don't know the half of it." they all go to the chairs and tables and talk about what's been going on, and so Rita explains. "After the last time you guys were here, things have gone peaceful and no problems and no fights either."
Lynnard continues. "The prison inmates and everyone else have been doing their hardest to earn their chanced to be free from here. They've been taking in classes that could help them change and see the error of their ways, and with the help from myself, Rita and our pal, Gerald."
"Also, Gerald isn't here. He's busy with his own class, with the inmates. He wants them to share their issues and the reason why they don't wanna be bad anymore and it's working. With so many tears."
"Huh, well that does seem normal for most teachings in prison and I can only guess that some inmates broke down into tears that they needed hugs" said Delilah.
Lynnard chuckles. "Yeah, and it was kinda awkward when one of them admitted to the wrong stuff he did, as a toddler. I don't know where that was going."
Michelle then asks. "What about you Lynnard? What have you been doing?"
"Same as usual, taking up parenting classes and improving along with Rita" replied Lynnard. "Also, still doing my part in cooking the food for the other inmates. I have cooked for more mouths and I can do so again and I am always in the groove and the awesome part, someone wants to follow in my footsteps here."
"One of the inmates, goes by the name of Rex, says that he's learned cooking long ago and he wants to help cook as well, he's in jail for bank robberies and he said he never wanted to hurt anyone, and yet he did by accident and his buddies are… Well, still out there. At least he can get the chance to redeem himself and find a better future."
Luna chuckles. "Always classic with the cooking since you are the dude to know and make the cooking taste wicked awesome, and good job in teaching someone the ways of the culinary arts."
Lynnard nods. "Thanks, makes me feel proud of myself for helping another uneasy inmate change for the better and accomplish what they wanted to do long ago." He then looks to his wife. "Tell them what you've been doing, this is gonna be great."
They all look to Rita, and the blonde woman smiles. "Alright, alright. So, I have been putting up my own class…. Well, classes. I am leading this class on writing to show them that they can do something else that could remove the stress and issues of all the female inmates, and sharing it through poetry and what they have done and feel that makes them wish they could change."
"The next class I have been teaching is self-awareness and self-esteem. To help motivate them on seeing a brighter and better future and like the one from Gerald's class, there are some emotional tears and some hugs needed. They can tell that I have changed, and I they wanna change as well."
"Then comes the third class, and this one is about home improvements and learnin how to maintain a good living space and they all seem keen to learn how to make a home a nice home, and a peaceful one with no trouble at all. This is really helping the female inmates for when they wanna start a bright future with a brand new home."
This is something they did not see coming, and this makes them smile. "Wow. Looks like things have turned from good to improve here for the two of you and the others" said Lincoln.
Luna smirks and is pleased to hear this from them. "Pretty chill in trying to help others and show them a new way to live life and not be in this place. You two are doing an awesome job."
"Seems as normal as any other inmate who wants to change and help others change" said Michelle with a smile. "This is a good change for the two of you."
"Would be nice to have some of this in other places, and also Lori is planning to make her move, soon" said Sam. "And when I mean move, I mean she won't be in juvie anymore, she's going to actual female jail. We're hoping she'd be able to make it through, along with her cellmate."
Rita and Lynnard were concerned about that. "Well, that does sound like a problem, but we know that Lori can manage the whole thing. She's strong that way" said Rita.
"But, enough about us and what we're doing here. We wanna know what the rest of you guys have been doing and how you've all been handling the bad moments and turn them into good ones" said Lynnard.
They begin to tell them the moments when they face a bad enemy or an issue and manage to make sure the trouble stays away, and they also tell them of the self-defense training their taking, but they don't tell them about the special other worldly trainers.
They even inform them of the new annoyance, and this person is from Hazeltucky, and that they're prepared for what this demented priest has in store for them next.
Hearing all of this was making Lynnard and Rita concerned. But deep down, they know that Lincoln, Luna and the others can handle this, and try and get by all the trouble to make things into less of a problematic ordeal.
'At least they're standing strong together, and seeing Sam by their side… Now that looks like a very strong family to us.'
(The Loud House.)
Night time and right now Lincoln, along with Delilah have finished watching the movie, which was Sonic the Hedgehog. "Man that movie was pretty cool and I can't wait for the sequel of the whole thing with Tails in it, right Linc?"
But she gets no response. "Lincoln?"
Delilah then sees, that Lincoln has fallen asleep, and he snuggles onto the couch cushion with his plush polar bear and he has a smile on his face, and this makes Delilah smile and she turns off the TV and then she turns off the lights and she picks him up. "So glad I took up karate classes, strong to carry him."
Delilah makes her way up the stairs, and she passes down the halls and she opens the door from where Luna and Lincoln share the room, and she sees Luna is busy finishing the song she had planned, and then she looks to her right and smiles when she sees Delilah. "Hey…"
She is surprised to see her son, Lincoln asleep and holding his plush. "Yeah, he got sleepy when we were watching the movie, and I didn't even know he was out."
Luna chuckles and she carries the boy from her. "Yeah, this happened the same thing long ago. Sometimes the little dude can't watch a movie all night and he ends up passed out after watching all of it. He can get bored when there isn't much action in the film."
Delilah chuckles. "Well, that explains why he doesn't seem to get sleepy when the movie is about Sci-Fi and stuff, well I should go to sleep now. Goodnight Luna." she places a small kiss onto Lincoln's forehead. "And goodnight, Lincoln."
Delilah then goes back to her room and Luna places her sleeping son onto his lower part of the bed. She then goes over and turns off the hallway lights and then the lamp on her desk, and even if the room seems dark, the faint glow of the moon can help her see her son as he sleeps.
Luna sits by his side and she strokes his hair, and then she whispers. "A lot has gone from bad to worse, and trouble came to show us that we should be stopped, but we'll pull through as we always do. We got the friends, family and the training. But most of all, each other."
"I'd be damned if I forget who you are, kiddo. I don't wanna lose the memories we have now, they're too precious and too valuable to lose. They're the memories that make us who we are now, and I am always going to be honored to be the mother for you, my little Linky."
Luna places a small kiss to his forehead. "Sweet dreams kiddo, see you when the rooster starts a crowing." Luna heads to her top of the bunk and she slowly closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.

A/N: A lot has changed, and the prison where Lynnard and Rita are staying is going through some good changes, and not just for themselves. I added that small moment as the last part because I thought it'd be cute or nice. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
