First, is what Luan is facing, and that something is trying to see if what Maggie has been doing was romantic intentions, or just her usual self acting oddly emo-like. Next chapter is the visit of Lincoln and Luna to the former partner of the deceased Selena Williams. Enjoy reading this everyone.

Chapter 371: Luan, and her mission.
(September 21. Franklin Avenue.)
Right now, Luan walks out of the house and heads to Leni's car, and she sees the house of the louds, and she spots Delilah wave to her, and nod, and so Luan nods as well, and she watches as Marcy goes into the car of Luna and drive off.
Leni looks to Luan as she heads out of the house and she locks it. "Luan, are you alright?"
Luan nods. "I'm fine. I just waved to Delilah and wanted to make sure that her big News Action Crew Club would work out right, and I know it will."
Leni nods. "Alright, well we should get to school now. Also, I will be working at Reiningers, and it might be late. You'll need to go to the louds when the school day is done, alright sweetie?"
Luan chuckles. "Sure thing, mom." The duo go into the car and they drive off, and they even wave to Merris who is headed to her car and she drives off to deal with something else.
Mr. Grouse watches this happen, and then he waves to Harriet who waves back and she goes into the garage to check on something, then Grouse opens the mailbox and he is upset. "Why can't they get the hint that I don't want this Sunset Canyon Junk mail?!"
(Royal Woods high School.)
Luan walks into the school and she passes by the bulletin board, and it shows the schedule for an incoming field trip for the newbies of the school, and she walks away from it and then she sees Benny and waves to him. "Hi, Benny."
"Hey, Luan. You ready for next week? Because I sure am" replied Benny. "Also, I sorted out on…. Luan, are you alright?"
Luan is looking towards Maggie who is keeping her eyes locked onto her, and she continues to observe her and what she does, and then she looks to Benny. "What? Yes, I am. Thanks for the whole thing, well I gotta go and be ready for something else. See you later, bye."
Benny is confused and sees Luan following Maggie, and this has him so lost. "What the heck is going on with Luan today?"
Ruby and Spencer spot this and stand by him. "Looks like a big issue between them, what the heck would Maggie have done to upset Luan?" asked Ruby.
"Maybe it was from a text" said Spencer. "I mean, I have seen some girls upset over…." He sees the stern look from Ruby. "Sorry, forget I mentioned that." Benny on the other hand can tell that something else is going on.
Luan continues to follow Maggie, but she hides when she nearly gets seen, but she hides behind the locker. 'Way too close.'
"What the heck are you doing?" Luan is startled when she sees Maggie appear. "Luan, don't sneak around. Leave that to Goth kids, and those who are fans of vampires. Now, what the heck are you doing?"
Luan tries to look for an excuse. She then sees what is written on the bulletin board. "Umm, I am trying out for the role on the sneaky spy?" The board has the list of those who would wanna take part in this Friday's play, called the Sneaky Spy.
Maggie looks to Luan and narrows her eyes trying to see if she is telling the truth, and Luan is sweating and nervous about this, and then Maggie stops being serious. "Alright, have fun. Also, try and be cautious about Ms. Bernardo, she's acting serious about this play." Maggie then walks away from her.
Luan sighs in relief. 'Well, that's a good thing she doesn't know… Wait, now I have to sign up for the play!' She goes to the board and she writes down her name, and then she walks away. Benny sees this and he also signs his name, he knows something is up.
'Whatever is going on, I don't know if I should get involved.' He then sees Leni, and he goes over and talks to her about what's been going on, and at the time she's texting Kurt Logann.

The first period, which is history class is where Luan looks to Maggie, and she doesn't seem to be looking at her, and she's more focused on class and is even more interested at the subject regarding ancient times and the brutal conflicts of Rome all the way to Greece.
But then Maggie looks to Luan, confused and then looks back to the teacher, and then Luan takes note of this.
Second class, Luan observes as Maggie is mixing her own concoction at science class, and Luan waits for something, but all she sees is the very creepy black boiling liquid that then turns into yellow, and then white and then it vaporizes completely and she sighs in disappointment.
Maggie then looks to Luan, annoyed and then she starts over and so Luan takes notes of this and doesn't notice her chemical reaction has failed and Ruby coughs out what blew up.
At the hallway, Luan is watching over Maggie, sneakily, and Maggie ignores her thinking that she is still doing her part for the play. Luan keeps watching her every movement and when Maggie is not looking, Luan sees the contents of the locker, using binoculars.
She doesn't see anything romantic about her, just the photos of her friends and even one photo of Luan and Benny, and a photo of her little sister, Lucy and the Young Morticians Club, and so she walks away and takes notes, while Maggie closes the locker and she walks away as well.
At the gym class, Luan is partaking in some sit-ups and push-ups and she watches over Maggie to see if she is noticing her, and apparently Maggie is sitting by herself and she doesn't seem to be doing much physical and she even informs the gym teacher she has a card that she's injured, at the ankle and she is not wrong, she slipped earlier on the wet floor.
At lunch, Luan sees Maggie is alone and she is eating the food she was packed, and Luan is eating the lunch she packed. Nothing is going on to Maggie and the emo girl looks to Luan and is confused as to why Luan keeps looking to her, and then Maggie goes back to eating.
Luan takes notes of this and doesn't notice Leni and Benny noticing this. They don't know what the heck is going on, or if they should get involved.
Back down the halls, Maggie leaves the restroom and she watches over the area and notices Luan is hiding behind the trash can, and so she ignores her and Luan follows her from behind the locker, the Luan behind the trash can is an old and messed up mop.
At last period, which is math class they are all doing a pop quiz, and Luan keeps track of doing her quiz and watching over what Maggie is doing, and all Maggie is doing is her usual self as she tries to answers his hard math quiz.
Luan can tell, that something is going on and it's all not showing what she thought she would notice.
(After School.)
The bell rings, and Luan walks down the halls and out of the school. She is supposed to be talking in her mind, but she doesn't know she is talking to herself. "What the heck? There seemed to be nothing about Maggie noticing me in a romantic way."
"All I see is Maggie just being herself, but this doesn't make sense, all those weeks when I was part of the school and during the early weeks of September, Maggie seemed to be looking at me more often, so either she is over me or she is hiding her feelings for me. I am so confused."
"Does Maggie have feelings for me? Does she like me? What the heck is going on? Everything she does, and she doesn't show any signs of…"
"Is that what this is all about?" Luan sees Maggie in front of her. "Also, stop talking to yourself and keep it in the thought bubble." The duo are outside the school and by the tree. "You also walked out and didn't know where you were going."
Luan is now nervous, but then she tells her. "Maggie, I need to know…."
"You are my friend, I do not have feelings for you" replied Maggie. "Also, what happened for the past few weeks that was not romantic stares and such, I was trying to perform a good facial gesture for the play this week on Friday, but it failed because the lady directing was not in the mood for me and said I was not doing the right facial features."
"I thought about practicing my facial gestures onto you, and apparently I did not fit the bill for the main villain for the play. Sorry if you have been thinking I was having feelings for you, but I still wanna see if my relationship with Benny is a legit ordeal, or I might just get over it. Also, have fun on dating him next week."
Luan is stunned in place, and then Leni and Benny stand next to Luan and look to her confused and surprised. "So…. I did this…. Wow. I should tell Delilah, that we were both so wrong. I should've talked to you."
Maggie nods. "Understandable, I know you'd be nervous to talk to me thinking about this." Maggie then walks away and goes to her mother's car and she heads back home.
Leni looks to Luan. "Well, I will see you back at the house. Also, congrats on being part of the play." Leni goes to her car and she drives off to her work.
Luan realizes this. "Dang it." She signed her name, and there doesn't seem to be a take back on this.
Benny then holds her hand. "Take it easy, Luan. I signed up too so you won't have to do this alone. I got your back." Luan smiles hearing this and the duo walk back into the school to deal with the rest of the play inbound, and see what they have to do on what role.

A/N: Well, that was something Luan did not see coming, but at least now her suspicions are gone and her friendship with Maggie won't be weird and awkward, and soon she can see if she can have a good relationship with Benny, as what Maggie wants to see, otherwise their future won't be as what might happen.
