Chapter 3
After Naruto's first day at "Elmore junior high" he decided to explore Elmore of all its secrets. He started helping out Larry with his Jobs and got a little tip with every job.
Naruto's been living with the Wattersons for a month now and he can say that he loved it, he and Anais are close, him and Darwin are pals and Gumball and him are really alike.
~Molly's house~
"So how do you like my treehouse girls?" asked Molly and all the girls agreed that it was nice. Penny, Carrie, Carmen, Teri, Masami and Leslie were there in Molly's new tree-house.
"I just love what youve done with the bathroom." Leslie complimented while pointing towards a hole with toilet paper next to it and a few posters on the wall.
"Thanks, I went for understated chic." said Molly and Penny wanted to add something.
"Molly has such a good eye for interior design." Penny complimented and Molly started to blush from all the compliments she was getting.
Everyone was agreeing with Penny except for Masami.
"BORING! You think because it's in a tree it's all that? Well it isn't, it's just as boring as a real house." whined Masami and moved closer to Molly. "I mean, what is it you actually do up here Molly?" asked Masami with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh not much, I just hang out, chill and watch the boys." Molly explained and for reference she moved to the window of the tree-house showing Naruto, Darwin, Tobias and Banana-Joe watching Gumball try and ollie over a minivan.
~Outside the treehouse~
The four kids watched as Gumball skated pretty fast on Naruto's skateboard to a ramp that'll launch him up and then he'll have to ollie the minivan.
"Come on Gumball!" shouted Darwin and Banana-Joe joined in.
"Yeah, come on. GO! GO! GO!" Banana-Joe chanted and soon Darwin and Tobias joined him.
"Why don't you join in?" asked Darwin and Naruto looked at him as if he grew another head.
"Because if Gumball pulls this off then I have to fork over my skateboard." said Naruto while sweating.
"Hm I wouldn't worry so much." Darwin said plainly.
"Why?" asked Naruto and he got his answer in the form of Gumball face planting into the minivan. "Ouch!" Naruto winced as did Banana-Joe and Tobias.
~In Treehouse~
"Lame, you don't watch boys….You kiss them." Masami said mischievously and the treehouse erupted into gasps.
"What!?" said the girls and boy in unison as Masami looked confused.
"Hold on, don't tell me you guys don't have boyfriends?" Masami asked, shocked. "You do Molly, right?" asked Masami.
"Uh…Sure, I do. You don't know him though. He's way older and…he's in highschool." Molly said nervously.
"Wow!" The group said in unison, Teri wanted to add herself into this boyfriend contest.
"Well, my boyfriend is so old that he doesn't need a baby-sitter." Teri said while blushing and sweating a little.
"Woww!" the group said again and then Carmen wanted to be included as well.
"Well, my boyfriend's so old that he stopped wearing braces." Carmen said proudly.
"Wowww!" the said group again and Carrie wanted to say something.
"Well my boyfriend is so old that he doesn't have teeth." Carrie said proudly while flicking her hair but soon blushed when she saw everyone staring at her.
"(Sigh) I wish I had a boyfriend." Penny sighed and she looked out the window.
~Outside the treehouse~
Naruto and Darwin watched Gumball get while cracking his back, arms and leg.
"(Crack) Ooo (crack) ahhh!" Gumball groaned as he cracked his arm. "Did Penny see my stunt?" asked Gumball while Naruto and Darwin looked at him with eyebrows raised then looked at eachother.
'Stunt? YOU CALL THAT A STUNT!?' Naruto screamed in his mind but kept a neutral face on the outside.
"Don't tell me you want to impress those…those…those…perfume sissies?" asked Banana-Joe while pointing an accusing finger at Gumball.
"Those girls right there? Nah." Gumball said while flexing his…muscles. "They wouldn't care about a handsome bachelor, 12 years old who likes world cinema, fine dining and extreme sports and long romantic walks on the beach by moonlight." Gumball bragged while flexing a little harder until he stopped.
"Let's make a pact, right here, right now. "Pal's before gals" ok." said Banana-Joe while Darwin, Banana-Joe and Tobias held hands in the middle.
"Pals before gals!" the three said in unison while Naruto and Gumball sat back.
"Emmmm ok." said Gumball while sealing his fate and joined his hand in the middle, he noticed Penny waving at him through the treehouse window, so he waved back while smiling.
"Aren't you gonna join Naruto?" asked Darwin and Naruto crossed his arms.
"Nah, I like hanging out with all my friends, even the girls." Naruto said wisely.
"Eh suit yourself." said Gumball and Tobias came up with an idea that could be stupid or really effective.
"Hey wait, let's make a blood pact." offered Tobias while picking up a stick and dragging it against his hand. Tobias started grunting from the pain but pushed through the pain and still tried.
"Let's just go to school already." Naruto said with everyone nodding except Tobias who was too busy trying to cut his hand.
"He's not gonna move is he?" asked Banana-Joe and they shook their heads.
"Don't worry, I got this." Naruto said and he grabbed his skateboard and lifted Tobias up who weighed as light as a feather and placed him on his board and tied a rope around his waist and started to pull him.
~Inside the treehouse~
"Your turn to tell us Masami. Do you have a boyfriend?" asked Molly and Masami looked a little worried.
"Yeah huh, he's, it's, it's Darwin." said Masami while pointing at Darwin walking away.
"Darwin!?" the group said in unison and Carrie looked furious.
"Yeah, he's great, because he's a boy and you know…a fish." Masami said while smiling.
"Ok." Carrie said calmly. 'How dare this cloudy bitch take my man! I'll kill her! No, I'll haunt her for the rest of her years alive.' Carrie screamed in her mind.
~Elmore junior high~
When Naruto, Darwin, Gumball, Banana-Joe and Tobias arrived at school, Tobias was still trying to make a deep cut into his hand.
"Dude, stop it." said Gumball as he was getting fed up with watching Tobias try and cut his hand.
Finally stopping Tobias and the rest of the boys stood there waiting for class to start, then they started hearing giggles and Banana-Joe's gal sense was tingling.
"Guy's, Guys, enemies at 12 o'clock." Banana-Joe warned and the group looked at their wrists except Naruto who looked down the hall.
"No, this way." Banana-Joe said and pointed down the hall and the group of girls and one boy.
"Here he is." giggled Masami while advancing to the group of boys, seeing the girls advancing Banana-Joe huddled into a circle.
"Remember, Pals before gals." Banana-Joe reminded them and they all dipped their heads in sadness from having to choose the pals instead of gals.
"Hello sweet cheeks." Masami greeted and the group looked at the girls with a shocked expression.
"What!?" the boy group said in unison.
"Oh come on, he's not your boyfriend Masami." Carrie said calm on the outside but was a raging inferno on the inside.
Masami scoffed. "He so is, look. Hold my book boyfriend!" Masami demanded more than asked.
"Uh ok?" Darwin took the pink book and Masami and the girls started to walk away.
"I'll show you how much he likes me at the treehouse." Masami promised and the girls started giggling while Carrie growled but no one noticed.
"I can't believe it. You, you, you, girl lover!" Banana-Joe pointed an accusing finger at Darwin but Naruto raised his hand.
"Hey, I take offence from that. You see, I'm a girl lover as well." Naruto said sagely.
"Hm, it's always the silent ones." Gumball said ignoring Naruto accidentally.
"I didn't do it! What am I gonna do?! What am I gonna do?!" Darwin screamed and started grovelling on the ground and banging in fists on the floor.
"I know! I'll just run away and hide forever!" suggested Darwin while running to the window down the hall and smashing through the glass and face planting onto the concrete. "I'll never forget you guys!" Darwin promised and then limped away.
"Well that was dramatic." Gumball said with Banana-Joe and Tobias agreeing.
"Hey Gumball." spoke a voice from behind him, hearing the voice Gumball got stars in his eyes.
"Hi Penny." Gumball waved his hand towards her, she was holding her maths and science books.
"Do you wanna walk me to the cafeteria?" asked Penny with a bright smile.
"Definitely…not, definitely not now but…maybe later?" Gumball offered and Penny gave him a blank stare.
"Ahem!" Banana-Joe gave him the look and Tobias shook his head. Gumball grunted and ran and jumped out of the broken window unintentionally repeating Darwin and limped away.
"Ok? See you later." Penny waved towards the limping Gumball.
"Hey Penny, what's up." Naruto said out of nowhere unintentionally scaring Penny.
"AHHHHH!?" Penny screamed and jumped in the air and would have fallen on the ground but Naruto caught her before she could.
"Hey there, don't want to do that again aye?" Naruto laughed and Penny clutched her heart.
"Naru, don't scare me like that." Penny said in an icey tone, frightening Naruto in the process.
"Yes ma'am." Naruto said with a sweat drop and Penny laughed and ruffled his hair and tickled his ears.
"Don't worry about it." said Penny then blushed because Naruto was still carrying her. "Um, could you put me down please?" Penny asked with a red face.
"Oh yeah sure." Naruto said and he put her down.
"So you wanna go to the cafeteria?" asked Penny not wanting to go alone.
"Sure, I am quite famished if I do say so myself." Naruto jokingly said in a "posh" manner, Penny giggled and walked down the hall with Naruto walking behind her.
They walked half way down the corridor and Penny's been meaning to ask something that's been bugging her. "Hey Naruto, you said you live with Gumball right?" Penny asked and Naruto nodded. "Why don't you live with your parents?" asked Penny and Naruto stopped in his tracks.
'Should I tell her? I mean I told Uncle, Anais, Gumball and Darwin about them.' Naruto thought while remembering last week.
~Flashback – Wattersons house~
The Watterson family were having dinner that Nicole made and were having a good time, Gumball had thought that was plaguing his mind non-stop.
"Hey Mom, when can we meet Aunty Kushina?" asked Gumball while eating spaghetti on toast.
"Yeah Mrs Mom, when can we meet Mrs Aunty?" asked Darwin to which Anais nodded and Nicole was sweating.
"Ummm, I don't know." Nicole said while sweating and Naruto sighed.
"Aunty it's fine, they deserve to know." said Naruto and Nicole sent him sad eyes.
"Well, you see, Naruto's Mother passed away." Nicole said and Darwin nervously chuckled.
"Umm Mrs Mom, that's not funny." Darwin said but Anais saw the truth in her Mothers eyes.
"You're not lying…are you." Anais asked rhetorically to which Nicole shook her head. Anais started crying and was hugging Naruto's head since she was sitting on his shoulders and then Darwin put an arm around Naruto's shoulders in a way to comfort him.
Gumball did the same on the other side that wasn't occupied and started soothing Naruto.
"Thanks guys." Naruto said while smiling, Richard was crying waterfalls and so was Nicole and she pulled out a camera and snapped a photo just before joining the hug with Richard following her.
~Flashback end~
"I'll tell you some other time. I'm too hungry to talk." Naruto said with a laugh and resumed walking but stopped when Penny grabbed his hand.
"Naruto…tell me." Penny demanded with an icey tone, Naruto's tails dropped to the floor while his ears drooped.
"My Mom passed." Naruto said while dropping his head in sadness, Penny gasped and put a hand over her mouth and tears started to form in her eyes.
"And your Dad?" asked Penny and Naruto shrugged.
"When I woke up he was gone, all his stuff was still there except him. I know he didn't leave, he wouldn't leave my Mom's side. I just know he didn't leave." Naruto explained and he was pulled into an embrace.
"I'm sorry for bringing up bad memories." Penny said while crying into his back, Naruto wrapped his tails around her.
"You know… I haven't had a friend like you before." Naruto said. "Thank you, for being my friend." Naruto said while one of his tails rubbed her back.
"Let's go get something to eat, aye." Penny smiled and wiped her eyes and walked with Naruto to the cafeteria.
~Cafeteria~
Naruto and Penny walked into the cafeteria and sat at the girls table.
"Hey guys." Naruto greeted the girls and Leslie greeted him back.
"Hey Molly I hope it's cool, but could Naru come to the treehouse?" Penny asked and Molly huddled with the girls/boy at the table unintentionally dragging Penny into the huddle position.
"What do you think? Should we?" asked Leslie and the girls thought it over.
"I don't see why not." Molly inquired and the group had a vote.
"Naruto we took the consideration of this decision and we'd like to welcome you to my treehouse." said Molly with a smile and her hazel eyes sparkled.
"Really? Thanks Molly, you won't regret it. If you want I can give you interior design Ideas?" Naruto offered with sparkles in his eyes.
"Really!?" Molly asked, Naruto nodded.
"You betcha." Naruto gave Molly a thumbs up.
"Do you think you could come over after school, since we're gonna be having the boys at 3:30 PM." Molly said and Naruto agreed not even caring about her mentioning "Boys".
"Naruto Uzumaki!" a voice spoke and Naruto turned his head to see Principal Brown at the cafeteria doors.
"Uh, hello Principal Brown. What can I do for you?" Naruto asked Nigel.
"Mr Small would like to see you." Principal Brown said and Naruto's eyes widened for a split second but went back to their normal size.
"Can I see him after break?" asked Naruto and Nigel nodded. "Thank you Principal Brown." Naruto said gratefully and Brown nodded.
~With Gumball~
Gumball was rubbing his sore arm. "(Crack) Ahh!" Gumball grunted.
"Gumball." whispered a voice but Gumball's ears could pick it up. Gumball looked down and saw Darwin on the ground. "I'm scared." Darwin said with his hands on his cheeks.
"Darwin? I thought you'd run away forever?" Gumball said with a smirk.
"I got hungry." Darwin said then he heard giggling and it was coming from the girls table. "Oh no they're here. What am I gonna do now?" Darwin said frantically.
"Don't worry Buddy, if you can't see them then they can't see you." Gumball said and they both smashed their lunch into the face to mask their appearance.
They started bumping into lots of things and ended at the girls table.
"Ok I think we're safe." Gumball said and he and Darwin put their lunch trays down only to see the girls. They both screamed for a bit.
"Hey." the both said while smiling nervously.
"Uh yeah, hi." Masami said with a raised eyebrow before smiling slyly. "I was just talking about you boyfriend, come and sit by me." Masami said and Darwin did so not before groaning. "Oh come on sugar lumps, don't be shy give me a hug." Masami was hugging his arm and rubbing her cheek on his.
"Excuse, is there…room (grunt) for one more." Gumball said while spacing apart Darwin and Masami. "So what are we talking about?" Gumball said while his, Darwin and Masami's faces were squished together.
"Well before you rudely interrupted us, Darwin was saying he was gonna kiss me in the treehouse." Masami said with a grin, Darwin looked mortified.
"What?" Darwin was slack jawed.
"Yeah because that's what Boyfriend and Girlfriend do." Masami winked at Darwin. "Come on Boyfriend, let's go someplace more private." Masami demanded but Darwin didn't seem to hear her. "BOYFRIEND!" Masami shouted and walked away.
"Help…me." Darwin whispered to Gumball.
"Don't worry Buddy I'm here for you, Pals before…" Gumball pumped his fists in the air then lowered his fist when he saw Penny and had hearts in his eyes.
"Hi Penny." Gumball said dreamily but didn't the not-so-subtle wink Penny sent him.
"Hey Gumball." Penny said walking away.
He still looked love struck until he snapped out of it.
"Where was I? Oh that's right Darwin." Gumball sped off to forge a plan.
~With Naruto~
Naruto knocked on Mr Smalls office door…but didn't get an answer. Naruto decided to open the door and saw that the room was empty.
Naruto sensed something and ducked, effectively dodging the hit and countered by performing a back-kick to the intruder only to hit nothing and he pivoted on his foot and spun around to see who was the attacker only to see the door open.
"Hmpt, strange." Naruto said while walking around the office; it looked normal from what Naruto could see.
"Naruto W Uzumaki." spoke a voice from above.
Naruto heard someone calling his name so he looked up only to see a man dressed in black clothes but had his hair exposed.
"So…what did you need me here for?" asked Naruto to which the figure clad in black jumped down from the ceiling and pulled his mask down.
"Mr Small? Why did you attack me?" asked Naruto to which Mr Small stripped down to his usual attire which consisted of a rainbow-patterned shirt, black bell-bottoms, and blue and yellow sandals. He had long curly white hair that was tied into a ponytail, he was a tall man standing at 6'2 and was fair-skinned and had yellow eyes with red pupils.
"I wanted to talk to you about….." Mr Small whispered the last part in Naruto's ear with a serious face.
"We're gonna have a long talk." Naruto said in a serious tone and walked to the door and closed it.
~With Gumball – School swimming pool~
"Darwin!?" Masami shouted in the public pool. "Darwin!? Darwin, where are you?" asked Masami while she walked around and Gumball ran past her in yellow swimming trunks with an orange trim at the cuff. Gumball was going to continue running when he heard gurgling.
"Darwin?" Gumball wandered as he saw Darwin underwater in his fish-form. "What are you doing here?" asked Gumball to which Darwin started making bubbles that sent messages out to Gumball.
"She won't find me down here." Darwin's first bubble said. "She hates getting her hair wet." Darwin said in his second message.
"Really?" Gumball asked with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Don't worry Buddy, I'm on it." Gumball said right before he climbed up the ladder to the highest diving board, when he reached the top he started to get a bit scared.
"(Sniff) Pals before Gals!" Gumball shouted before he jumped off the diving board and tucked himself into a cannonball.
"Hey Masami, have you seen Gumball anywhere?" Penny asked and Gumball untucked from his cannon ball.
"Aw no, I can't do that to Penny. On one hand I create a good diversion and save Darwin but on the other hand I splash Penny and look like a (Smack!)" Gumball didn't get to finish his sentence because his body touched the water rather…hard.
"What was that?" asked Penny while covering one of her ears.
"I don't know but it sounded painful." Masami inquired.
"Welp, bye Masami. See you at the treehouse." Penny said while walking away.
"DARWIN!?" Masami shouted again and this time Darwin came out of the water back in his human form while rubbing his eyes.
"Oh there you are." Masami said surprised at his sudden appearance and she pulled him out of the water with no effort. "Come on, we're getting ice cream." Masami said while pulling Darwin along who glanced at the pool.
When they left Gumball emerged from the water and was gasping for air, his chest, face, arms and legs was a scorching red. He got out of the pool and started hopping on his toes and he saw Idaho.
Idaho was wearing light brown overalls and a badge sweater and was wearing dark brown shoes. He had a shaved head.
Idaho was holding two ice-cream cones; by the colour it must be vanilla. Gumball snatched the two ice-cream cones and smashed them on his chest effectively cooling him down.
"AHHHHH, that feels good." Gumball said while Rocky was walking away to the changing rooms.
"Hey dude nice bikini." Rocky complemented while opening the door to the mens changing room.
"Ah thanks…oh Rocky wait!" Rocky stopped and looked at Gumball.
"Yeah." Rocky said.
"You've had girlfriends right?" Gumball asked.
"Oh yeah, thousands of them." Rocky praised himself.
"Well how do you get rid of them?" Gumball asked Rocky.
"Well I just close my eyes and open my heart and when I open my heart again, they're gone." Rocky said.
"What do you mean?" asked Gumball, still not getting it.
"Well I guess they don't want me talking about my feelings." Rocky said depressed.
"So you mean openly express your emotional turmoil rather than coming up with a convoluted little scheme?" Gumball asked with a raised eyebrow. "It's so crazy that it just might work." Gumball said with a grin.
~School hallway~
Gumball was hiding in a trash bin and Darwin was standing nervously by his locker which was right next to the rubbish bin; such a coincidence.
"Darwin!" came a voice down the hall.
Darwin inhaled before speaking. "Listen Masami. This is difficult to say but…I'm leaving. We had good times together." Darwin said dramatically and continued. "But it's not right for me. I can't help how I feel. It's not your fault it's mine. I'm ready for something this amazing. You deserve someone better. Now farewell dear heart!" Darwin exclaimed while shooing her away with his hand.
"AHHHHH!" Masami cried and her hair turned grey and tears started spilling from her eyes. Darwin was looking uncomfortable at this moment.
"What should I do?" asked Darwin to Gumball who peeked out of the bin.
"I don't know." Gumball replied.
Leslie was passing by "Nice work Romeo." Leslie said while walking away and Darwin started to look sad and worried.
"Okay! Okay! I didn't mean it! Boyfriend joke! Look, I'm laughing HAHAHA!" Darwin fake laughed but that only made Masami cry harder and it caused a cloud burst. "You can stop crying now! Please. I'll do anything you want! I'll go to the tree house. I'll, I'll, I'll kiss you." Darwin promised while on his knees and Masami went back to normal with her hair turning back to white and the cloudburst outside subsiding.
"Ok, see you there sweet lips." Masami said happily and Darwin looked dumbstruck and just sat there.
Gumball came out of his hiding spot laughing. "Oh, I'm so sorry." Gumball said while laughing and Darwin looked pissed.
"What…did…you…make…me do?" Darwin asked angrily and Gumball looked nervous and sweated a bit. "WHAT DID YOU MAKE ME DO!" Darwin shouted in Gumball's face. "I have to kiss a girl, I have to get married! I don't wanna get married." Darwin ranted and walked off while grumbling.
"Oh I'm sorry Dude, oh come on don't be like that." Gumball said and Darwin got in his face.
"Not cool man, NOT COOL!" Darwin shouted in his face.
"Don't worry Buddy, I'll save you!" Gumball voweled and Darwin voiced his doubt.
"HOW?! You need a date to get in that treehouse!" Darwin shouted down the hall.
"Yeah that is gonna be a problem." Gumball said while scratching his chin.
"And what happened to pals before gals." Banana-Joe reminded Gumball.
"Don't worry, I'll find a way to save him." Gumball said and Banana-Joe and Tobias gave him a glare.
"You better 'cause if you don't, we..will!" Banana-Joe promised then walked away with Tobias. Out of nowhere Penny walked by Gumball.
"Hi Gumball." Penny waved at him while he had sparkles in his eyes and started jumping towards Penny while giggling.
~With Naruto and Mr Small~
"Thank you, soon we can get what we want." said Mr Small while Naruto nodded and shook his hand.
"I will be taking my leave now, goodbye Steve Small." Naruto bid farewell to Mr Small.
~Molly's Treehouse~
Darwin and Masami were at Molly's treehouse.
"After you boyfriend." Masami said while winking and Darwin started sweating profusely.
"Somebody, please help me." Darwin pleaded quietly but Masami heard him.
"What did you say?" Masami asked and Darwin quickly started climbing the ladder.
"Nothing, I'm climbing." Darwin said and reached the top and peeked into the treehouse and saw all the girls and Leslie.
"Hey Darwin." Naruto and Gumball said in unison.
"Oh no they got both of you guys." Darwin gasped at the sudden appearance of Naruto and Gumball.
"Yeah they got me, it was horrible." Gumball shivered. "Ahh Don't drag me in there and kiss me." Gumball said while looking horrified but grinned when no one was looking. "Hehe well now that we're here." Gumball finished.
"So girls, where are all of your boyfriends?" asked Masami and the girls started whistling nervously.
"Ok girls, confession time. My boyfriends not real." Teri said while lowering her head. There was a gasp among the group before they came clean and said they had no boyfriend either.
"So me and Penny are the only ones with boys to kiss." Masami said and Penny was smiling a happy smile. "Darwin?" Masami said in a sing-song voice and he was walking to the exit. "Come on Boyfriend." said Masami with a grin and puckered her lips and started walking to Darwin trying to kiss him.
And everyone was chanting "kiss!" except Carrie who was glaring at Masami with malice and Naruto saw this.
"Gumball, Naruto do something!" Darwin pleaded while walking backwards from Masami's lips.
"Ok sure." Naruto said and wipped out his phone.
"Just a minute. Sorry, but I have to save my Bestfriend." said Gumball while walking away but was pulled back to Penny.
"I'm really glad you came." Penny said with a blush staining her cute face and Gumball had stars in his eyes.
Soon enough Darwin was backed up into a corner and Masami was advancing. "Please, you don't wanna kiss me. I taste like fish." Darwin tried to sway Masami somehow but he was ignored. Masami went in for another kiss and Darwin dodged her, making Masami kiss the wall.
"Gotcha." Naruto said and snapped a photo of Masami kissing the wall.
Gumball and Penny were holding each other's hands and Darwin was shouting at him for help but his words fell on deaf ears.
"It's such a beautiful day, Gumball." Penny said with a smile.
"Yeah, but not as beautiful as your antlers." Gumball said while he and Penny were in space with shooting stars flying past them…but for Penny they were still in the treehouse.
"Ha, can you feel the universe moving around us?" Gumball asked dreamily.
"Ah yeah, it's more of a swaying motion actually." Penny said while opening one eye to make sure she wasn't going crazy.

"Let's kiss and remember this for all eternity." Gumball said and he leaned forward to kiss Penny with her doing the same.

'You don't want him, do you?' asked a voice in Penny's mind and her eyes flashed a beautiful yellow before returning to its usual colour.
"Let's kiss, so I can show these losers who's boss." said Masami and Darwin finally gave up and submitted to her.
Thud…
The tree started to tilt and everyone except Naruto, Penny, Masami, Darwin and Gumball fell out the treehouse and Penny opened her eyes and grabbed the window sill so she didn't fall out of the entrance and Masami levitated; since she's a cloud girl.
Gumball started to slide across the treehouse straight for Darwin, Naruto jumped and grabbed a piler from the roof of the treehouse and held his phone up and started recording Gumball and Darwin about to kiss.
"Oh yeah, this is going viral." Naruto said while snickering.
"MMMMMMmmmmmmWAHH!" Gumball and Darwin's lips finally connected and the treehouse finally smashed on the ground.
"Timber!" shouted Banana-Joe who was unlucky to be the one that cut the tree down; only to be crushed from it.
Gumball and Darwin popped their heads out of a bush.
"Wow, kissing Penny was like getting run over from a unicorn." Gumball said with stars in his eyes as well as Darwin.
"And kissing Masami wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." Darwin said dreamily and they both walked out of the bush.
"Bye Penny." Gumball waved at Penny who was laying on the ground.
"See you later sugar lumps." Darwin said and pivoted on his foot and walked with Gumball in toe.
"Haaa, what fascinating creatures." Gumball said and ventured off home…and then Banana-Joe popped out of the bush with his axe in his hand.
"Here's Joe!" Banana-Joe said while laughing evilly.
"AHAHAHAHA! Oh that was priceless!" Naruto shouted while rolling on the ground.
"Naru, what are you laughing at?" Penny asked and Naruto showed her the photo of Masami kissing the wall. Masami had the decency to blush and glare at Naruto.
"NARUTOOOO!" Masami shouted to the heavens and sped towards him but he side stepped her and she fell into a prickly bush. "FUCK!" Masami shouted in agony while Naruto and Penny were nowhere in sight.
~Around the block~
Naruto helped Penny up from under the ruined treehouse while Masami was too busy checking out that comfortable bush and they both ran around the corner while laughing, they stopped running and decided to walk the rest of the way to their separate houses.
"Hey Naru, do you have a time you need to be back home?" Penny asked Naruto who raised an eyebrow.
"No, why's that?" asked Naruto.
"Do you want to hang out at my house?" Penny asked and Naruto thought it over.
"Let me make a quick call, okay." Naruto said with a grin and he pulled out his phone and dialled a number in his phone.
~Rainbow Factory~
'Hmm I wonder if I can be employee of the month soon.' Nicole thought while writing down on a paper until she was halted via her phone.
"Hm, I wonder who that might be." Nicole wondered as she answered the phone. "Hello Nicole Watterson speaking, how can I help you?" Nicole greeted kindly.
"Hey Aunty Nicole, It's Naruto. I was calling to tell you that I will be coming back home late." Naruto said over the phone.
"Oh hi Naruto, why are you coming back late?" asked Nicole.
"I'm going to hang out with my friend." Naruto said and Nicole became intrigued but didn't press forward.
"Ok that's fine, but if it's too dark then stay at your friend's house or have her parents drop you off at the house. I don't want you walking in the streets at night." Nicole explained.
"Ok I promise, have a good day at work." Naruto ended the call at that.
~With Naruto and Penny~
"Sweet I got the ok. But I gotta make one more call to my cousin Anais." Naruto said and Penny smiled.
'He cares so much for his family.' thought Penny while smiling.
"Hey Darwin, could you put Anais on the phone please?" Naruto asked politely.
"Sure thing." Darwin said over the phone. Naruto waited for a few seconds and Anais picked up.
"Hey Naruto, what's up?" Anais asked while holding Daisy and Kurama…wait Kurama. A few weeks ago, Naruto gave his Plushie to Anais as a gift.
~Flashback~
Anais was in the attic with Naruto helping him with rearranging his furniture so they could store more stuff in the attic, they were on the last box when Anais accidently dropped the box and leaked all its confines on the floor.
"Oh crap, I'm so sorry Naruto." Anais apologised but Naruto ignored her and picked up a red and black bundle. He unwrapped it and a nine tail fox plushie popped out.
'It still looks as fluffy as the day Dad made it.' Naruto thought with a smile.
Naruto was given the plushie from his father on his 7th birthday.
"I remember this one." Naruto said as he sat on his bed reminiscing on the day he got this.
"It looks so cute." Anais complimented.
"My Dad made it when I turned seven." Naruto explained and he looked at Anais who had stars in her eyes. "Here." Naruto motioned her to take the plushie.
"Huh?" Anais asked confusedly, Naruto smiled and pushed the plushie into her arms.
"His name is Kurama, take good care of him okay." Naruto requested and Anais started to look sad.
"I can't…your Dad made this for you." Anais whispered the last part sadly; the fact that Naruto couldn't find his Dad still stung; and his Mom passed away.
"Yeah, he did. But I want you to have it. "Naruto said, eye smiling. "He needs an owner to play with, y'know." Naruto finished and he was pulled into a big hug from Anais who was crying into his chest.
He smiled and caressed Anais's pink hair and played with one of her bunny ears and her foot started to thump.
"Thank you Naruto, I promise I'll take care of him forever." Anais promised and Naruto smiled.
"Your welcome Anais." Naruto whispered. 'Kurama can be a way for you to remember me when I leave.' Naruto thought sadly.
~Flashback end~
"I'm coming home a bit late so could you make dinner? I taught you how to cook y'know." Naruto complimented and Anais blushed over the phone.
"Ok, when are you coming back?" Anais asked and Naruto thought about it.
"Maybe 7." Naruto said.
"Ok, have fun." Anais said and Naruto smiled.
"Bye Anais, just don't burn the house down ok." Naruto laughed and Anais laughed as well.
"I'm going now. Goodbye." Anais said and Naruto hung up and looked at Penny with a grin.
"Let's go." Naruto said and they ventured to Penny's house. When they reached her house it was a big yellow house. "So this is your house huh?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, come on, you can meet my parents." Penny dragged Naruto to the front porch of the house and Penny tried to open the door but soon found out it was locked; so she had to do things the old fashion way.
"Man, I can't believe I'm gonna have to knock on the door of my own house." Penny said agitated and Naruto laughed. "Naru stop laughing." Penny pleaded but Naruto wasn't stopping. Penny knocked on the door twice and Patrick opened the door.
"Hey Penny how…was school?" Patrick was happy when he saw his daughter but turned to Naruto.
"Oh today was fun, my friend Molly made a treehouse and ….." Penny explained but Patrick was listening; he was just looking at Naruto intensely. "Dad, Dad? Hello…" Penny started waving a hand in her Father's face but he still wasn't paying attention.
"So what's your name, boy?" Patrick asked Naruto to gauge his integrity.
"For one my name isn't boy. It's Naruto, nice to meet you sir." Naruto greeted with an honest and strong tone; which Patrick liked.
"Patrick." Patrick introduced himself and outstretched his hand for Naruto to shake; which Naruto did.
"Hey Dad, could Naru stay over for a little? Please!" Penny begged.
"Fine, but don't do any funny business in my house. You hear me!?" Patrick said; wanting to leave Naruto shook.
"I understand sir." Naruto said with a smile and Patrick smirked.
"I like you kid, your more cooler than that other kid." Patrick said angrily.
"Dad!" Penny said angrily.
"Fine, fine I won't talk about him." Patrick said while crossing his arms.
"Come on Naru let's go." Penny pulled Naruto upstairs to her room. When Naruto entered he thought it looked awesome.
"Woah, Penny your room is awesome." Naruto complimented while he looked at the wall that was littered with photos of Penny and her life. He saw a photo that had him in it.
"Thanks." Penny said with an eye smile.
"When did you take that photo?" Naruto asked as he looked at the photo of him and Penny in the school yard. Naruto was giving Penny a piggy-back ride but instead she was sitting on his tails.
"Last week." Penny said. "I'm just that good at taking photos." Penny said proudly.
"I guess you are." Naruto said. Naruto and Penny started playing street-fighter on her computer; Penny was losing 0 - 6 (Naruto). One hour passed by in a jiff and Penny's sister came into her room.
"Hi Big-Sis." Polly greeted with a cute smile.
Polly was 4'9 and was a mini version of her mother; She wore a tan turtleneck sweater with a white skirt that reached her kneecaps and brown stockings. She had neck length brown hair with two cute antlers coming out of her head.
"Hey Polly, Naru, meet my sister Polly. Polly, this is Naruto." Penny introduced and Polly was looking at Naruto's big ears. Polly outstretched her hands in a grabbing motion towards Naruto's head. Naruto smiled and picked her up effortlessly and Polly reached out and started playing with his ears and he started to giggle and in turn Polly started to giggle.
"Polly! It's your nap time!." Judith shouted from down stairs.
"Ok Mommy!" Polly shouted back. "Well I have to go now." Polly said while Naruto placed Polly back on the floor. "Bye Foxy, bye Big-Sis." Polly waved and ran down stairs.
"Bye Polly." Penny and Naruto said simultaneously. Naruto felt something crawl on his leg and looked down at saw…
A black tarantula…
Naruto walked over to Penny's bed and pulled out an ocarina and closed his eyes and played a small tune.

When the tune reached the spider it's senses started to tingle and it felt…at peace.
'What is that sound?' thought the tarantula. 'It sounds so…pretty.' the spider thought again and it heard something or felt through the vibrations of the sound.
Climb the arm…
The spider heard and started doing as instructed and climbed Naruto's arm.
Rest on the shoulder…sleep…
Again the spider did what it was told and rested on Naruto's shoulder and Penny had wide eyes.
Naruto reopened his eyes and ended the tune.
~End of song~
Naruto looked at his left shoulder and saw the spider, using one his tail to nudge it so it could wake; it had an immediate reaction. The spider crawled down using the tail and crawled to Penny and crawled up her leg.
"Mr cuddles!" Penny said enthusiastically as the now named Mr cuddles crawled all over her body. "Stop that tickles hehehe." Penny laughed while trying to catch Mr cuddles.
"Mr cuddles aye, nice name. When do I meet Mrs cuddles?" Naruto asked enthusiastically and Penny finally caught Mr cuddles and pointed a thumb to her chest.
"You're lookin' at her." Penny said proudly and the room was silent until Naruto started laughing.
~Timeskip 3 hours~
Throughout his stay with Penny's family he got to know Patrick, Judith, Mr cuddles and Polly; after she woke up. He and Patrick became friends fast, mainly talking about golf and exercises, Judith reminded him of his Mom which made Judith shout in joy and pump her fist. He let Polly braid his hair which was a bit shorter than hers but they made it work, when Polly finished braiding his hair Penny snapped a photo of him and when Naruto heard a click he turned his head to see Penny smirking and waving a camera, Naruto pounced her like a fox and tried to pry the camera off of her, doing so made his braids fall. Naruto could say he had a blast spending time with Penny and her family.
"Are you sure you don't need a ride?" Penny asked. "I could get my Dad or Mom to drop you off at your house." Penny said worriedly and Naruto smiled.
"I'm fine, I'll see you at school next week?" Naruto said and Penny pulled him into a hug.
"I'll see you at school." Penny promised and Naruto wrapped his tails around Penny for a bit until he released her. "Just don't die ok." Penny said and Naruto let out a small laugh.
"Sure, later." Naruto said and walked away with his tails wagging. Penny was waving goodbye to him with Mr cuddles on her shoulders. When Naruto reached the corner of Penny's street he pulled out his skateboard from this morning and started skating home until a dark figure popped a spoon in hand.
The figure stood 5'7 and was wearing all black with circles going over his torso and had a bandana around his eyes that had holes for the eyes. He had fair-skin.
"Hey kid, give your money now!" the figure said and Naruto stopped in his tracks.
"Get out of my way man, I need to get home." Naruto said annoyed but the figure didn't go.
"I said give me you money, can't you see I got a spoon." said the man and Naruto looked even more annoyed.
"How about you take a hike." Naruto said with a smirk, with a scream the man ran after Naruto who stood his ground.
"How about you take a hike, a hike to the hospital!" the man shouted while running at Naruto who steeled himself and waited.
When the man reached Naruto he cocked his right hand back and threw it at Naruto's face. Seeing the punch coming Naruto slipped to the left side of the man's body and threw a powerful bodyshot to his liver which made the man drop to his knees gasping for breath.
"Word of advice, if you're gonna try and mug someone, bring a different weapon, Sal left thumb." Naruto said and grabbed his board and skated straight for the now named Sal's face. Instead of getting hit Sal watched Naruto kick-flip over him.
"Have a good day Sal." Naruto called out from around the corner. Naruto skated for 10 minutes and was doing tricks and parkour on his skateboard. Naruto turned one more corner and went down the street called "Melody drive" and something unexpected happened. Naruto's bag opened up and a disc was pulled out and was sucked towards a house and something even more unexpected happened…the house literally opened up and sucked the disc in.
"There it is…" Naruto whispered with wide eyes as he gazed at the red house with white bricks.
