Hi guys Azza here!
Alright so before we get into it I'm going to say this. I know that the outcome of this fight is going to shock pretty much all of you however all I will say is that this fight will have reaching consequences and not to underestimate the supposed 'loser' of it.
I really want to say more but I won't so onto the reviews.
DarkFireCat – I know that and I've worded what I meant to say correctly. What I'm alluding to is this.
When you are discussing things about someone, Flaws are universally seen as an outright negative thing. People hate acknowledging flaws in general and often outright deny them.
Personality Traits on the other hand aren't and are often discussed more openly since many positive things can be associated with them.
Now Mordred is a character who is prideful to the absolute extreme and by saying she doesn't call them 'Flaws' but rather 'Personality Traits' this is her way of acknowledging that these things do exist however she wouldn't be the same without them. After all they are what make Mordred, Mordred.
Now the old Mordred, let's say when she was first summoned or even let's say the actual Nasuverse version of Mordred would be openly hostile about acknowledging her own Flaws so this is another stepping stone on her growth as a person as she strives to better herself. By accepting herself, flaws and all, she is inching closer toward her goal.
That's basically what that one sentence was meant to convey, sorry if I made myself seem ignorant.
Shadow465 – So to address your question I'll answer with questions. Let's say Natsu does decide to eat a massive amount of flames, is Saber just going to let him do that? If you say have him go to a random island and have someone light it on fire, what's stopping Saber from killing everyone else since he's the only one strong enough to match him?
Trust me I've thought about these things in great detail. The idea of him being able to eat his element only works when he is up against foes who are either cocky, stupid or he's got allies who can buy him time.
Take the end of Volume II as an example when Madara blew him up and he had to recover. In reality, his body would have recovered pretty quick but to regain all the power he'd lost he'd need to consume the elements he's able to eat which takes time and he had allies who were able to distract Madara long enough to do so.
Also, this is a more minor thing but still pretty relevant. Natsu is at a point now where his level of power is so vast that even if he ate an entire forest's worth of fire it wouldn't really do much. He wasn't fully recovered because he spent all his power down to the last drop on Thriller Bark and had been steadily recovering it over the course of a week.
Remember that we're dealing with a guy with enough raw power to overpower beings that are multi continental or if you really want to get into it beings like Kaguya who are capable of blowing up planets. The amount he'd need to consume to regenerate that much even from fifty percent would be impossible to do in such a short amount of time unless there were specific circumstances.
Hope that answers your question!
I do not own Fairy Tail, One Piece or the Nasuverse.
The Ash General's Fury
/Grove 12/
"Did you honestly think I would go down to an attack like that after what you just did to all those soldiers," Ryker growled as he emerged from the smouldering crater no worse for wear. "In an instant you ended the lives of a thousand men, men who had families and friends counting on their return!"
"Then perhaps you should have thought of that before bringing them to a fight against foes such as us," Seilah sniffed, completely impassive at the look of fury on the General's face. "The fact is, the blood of those soldiers is on your hands General. You claim to have intel on all of us yet you thought I would simply bow down to your demands, utter foolishness."
"You really are a Demon," Ryker growled as he clenched his fists. "To so easily dismiss the lives of so many Human beings like that-!"
"Human beings? You believe yourself to be on some sort of 'moral' or 'ethical' high ground, do you?"
"Of course I am!"
"Wrong," Seilah replied coldly as she gestured toward the largest plume of smoke in the distance. "Grove One, home to the Human Auction House. Oh, my apologies, I forgot that you World Government dogs refer to it as the 'Human Reemployment Office,' my mistake."
"Tch-!"
"And then there is the racism and prejudice toward all the species that aren't Human," Seilah continued as the General scowled in her direction. "The hostility toward Fishmen is what started this entire debacle to begin with as a rather kind and caring Fishman was gunned down merely for the crime of being different. Not to mention the fact that he came to save his friend who was being auctioned off as a slave, a Mermaid who couldn't even fight back against her own captors."
"But that-!"
"You require further proof," Seilah sneered as a dangerous glint entered her gaze. "I know that the World Government seeks the power of the Giants and has deceived them into their service on multiple occasions-!"
"Those files are classified information; how did you obtain them!?"
"As you all gathered intelligence on my Master and I, we did the same for this world and its Government. I am fully aware of the scheme the World Government had in place, buying children and forging them into weapons, abusing the power of the Giants to cow islands into submission, the destruction of the race of Serpentite because they refused to bow down and accept the authority of the World Government, its people on the verge of extinction!"
"…"
"We have our justification for opposing your little dictatorship and yet where has yours gone I wonder? It almost seems as if we are doing the world a service by slaughtering the Celestials, killing off the oppressive military that bully entire nations into submission?"
"You have no idea what you're on about, Demon," Ryker growled as he shrugged off his coat and tossed it to the side. "We need to keep the world safe from beasts such as yourself, creatures who would sooner see Justice devolve into Anarchy!"
"Yet which side finds itself oppressed," Seilah countered evenly. "Sure, there are Human slaves as well however the ratio between them and other sentient beings is much larger than even a two to one difference."
"The other races have made it clear they don't wish to conform to Justice!"
"So, you massacre them, enslave them," Seilah hissed in disgust. "This is why I despise you Humans more than any other. A xenophobic outlook on anything that looks remotely different from yourselves justifies torture, experimentation, massacre!"
"It is for the good of the world to destroy all those who would disrupt Justice!"
"Then you shall die knowing that your precious Justice is little more than a farce concocted by a totalitarian regime hell bent on creating a society of brainless xenophobic Humans, incapable of even the slightest bit of cognitive thought or reason!"
"Don't act like a paragon of extra species rights, you'd kill them too if given the choice!"
"I kill any who my Master desires," Seilah replied as her shadow rose up out of the ground and attached itself to her back, her body slowly morphing into a more Demonic like state as two wings emerged from her back. "All mortals deserve to be treated equally, including those that must be punished!"
Seilah vanished with Ryker doing the same less than a second later, the pair locking fists as the ground shattered beneath them.
"Such strength …"
"He is a remnant of the old guard, an aged soldier from Roger's era," Darkness explained as Seilah began avoiding a rapid series of punches and kicks. "We must break him, show him and by extension the World Government that our Master will not tolerate his kind any longer!"
Humming in agreement, Seilah avoided several more blows before catching both fists with her claw like hands. Spinning around, she used her right hand to throw Ryker whilst charging up a Void Black sphere-shaped attack in her left hand.
"Take this!"
Ryker had barely moved before the attack struck him, his form vanishing as an explosion went off on a nearby Yarukiman Mangrove, the tree being blasted in half horizontally as the bottom fell on top of a nearby Grove.
To her surprise, Ryker was already approaching her at high speed as he kicked off of the air which sent powerful shockwaves down onto the ground below. Entering an offensive stance, Seilah waited for him to return as her mind analysed her options.
"We know he's a Logia User which means it will take quite a lot to defeat him, clearly he has the ability to use the Rokushiki Six Powers Techniques just like Cipher Pol …"
"And being such a high-ranking officer there's little doubt he can use Armament and Observational Haki as well."
"The trick to this battle will be overcoming his Logia intangibility. Master seems to get beyond it by lacing his attacks with lethal doses of Aura, I can strike Ryker however he seems to recover before my attacks have such an effect."
"Then we think outside of the box."
Seilah didn't have time to respond as she reengaged Ryker who was now even more pissed off than before. The General was jutting around using Geppo combined with Soru in an attempt to out speed her. Although her eyes had no difficulty keeping track, the sheer speed the man was moving was in fact far beyond anything she'd seen anyone pull off in this world aside from Enel.
"Prepare yourself, Ash Ash: Rankyaku – Susu Ryushi Taiho!"
Seilah barely had time to dodge as Ryker's leg morphed into an ashy substance, the leg performing a blindingly fast sweeping motion and firing out a compressed blast of Ash. The attack just skimmed over her and struck the ground, gouging out an entire section of it before setting off a series of child explosions within the Ash Cloud left behind.
"He combined Rankyaku with his Devil Fruit to create a rather powerful technique …"
Ryker ceased his attack and vanished again, this time appearing right in Seilah's face with his fist now coated in Armament Haki. Seilah immediately blasted herself backward to avoid the punch however this only seemed to amuse the General as he continued his attack.
"Ash Ash: Soru – Sen No Sokudo Buso Kogeki!"
Ryker's fist blasted off of his wrist and struck Seilah in the face, breaking her nose as she was sent flying backward in surprise. She barely had the time to recover however as Ryker appeared several metres above her, his arm cocked back with three of his fingers positioned completely straight.
"He's going to-!"
"Ash Ash: Soru Jigan – Mitsuori Handan – Buso Yari!"
Firing his entire hand again, the three-pronged attack reached her in seconds as Seilah twisted her body to try and avoid the attack. Unfortunately, Ryker's speed beat her out and she was pierced through the left side of her body, the Armament Haki laced attacks breaking two of her ribs as she was blasted down to the ground.
The attack then exploded, engulfing her in an Ash Cloud that set off more child explosions as the General landed on the ground just beyond the attacks max range.
"Fool. Without your precious Master you are nothing," Ryker spat as he crossed his arms. "Without his power to draw from you are no stronger than that of the common-!"
"Elder Devil's Aura: Black Revenant!"
Ryker's Observational Haki hadn't even sensed her approach as Seilah simply shot out from the still exploding Ash Cloud, her leg coated in a strange Pitch-Black substance. She appeared right in front of him, her free leg already in the middle of a pivot as she used her attacking leg to strike him across the face.
Ryker barely had time to process being struck before seeing the environment travelling past at blinding speed, the right side of his face now sore as he tried to heal using his Logia abilities.
"Not just yet."
"What-!"
His Observational Haki had finally caught her, the Demon now floating above him with her wings now coated in the same substance as earlier. His Haki screamed at him to begin dodging and so, after touching the ground and rolling for a moment, the man launched himself to his feet right as Seilah extended her arms outward.
"Elder Devil's Aura: Pitch Shadow Rain!"
From her wings, Seilah fired out thousands of large lances made from the same substance that struck him earlier, each targeting his current position. Dodging the first couple, Ryker immediately noticed the rather large explosions each individual lance set off and knew getting caught in one would be bad.
"Not yet, Rokushiki – Soru Saidaka!"
Ryker's speed increased by an absurd amount as he flashed through the explosive hell raining down from above, the landscape behind him being devastated as Seilah tried to blow him up.
The Demon herself was clearly wounded, blood seeping from both her broken nose and the three holes in her side however it was clear she had enough tolerance to outright ignore both for the moment.
"Rokushiki – Geppo Saidaka!"
Suddenly, Ryker shot upward which threw off Seilah's attacks, as the General quickly closed in on her position. Abruptly cancelling her attack, Seilah vanished and appeared closer to the man with an attack held between her palms.
"I'm afraid now that you have wounded me, I must use more of my Demonic power. Elder Devil's Aura: Black Extinction!"
Firing a condensed beam of the Pitch-Black substance, Ryker easily dodged it but was not prepared for what followed. Countless child explosions went off in the beams path with the General being caught up in their wake, his form being blasted further and further away until the pair ended up toward the ocean.
His Observational Haki showed him what lay behind him, a Pitch-Black wall which was clearly the full explosion of her attack was waiting to engulf him as he inched closer and closer to its uninviting depths.
"No … I don't think so! Rokushiki: Tekkai Saidaka!"
Suddenly, the child explosions had zero effect as the man dropped like a stone into the ocean below. Seilah frowned, not happy that the man had avoided her attack however she also knew not to let her guard down.
The child explosions might not have been as powerful as a full powered attack, but they were still powerful enough to blow up a small town at the very least which meant that Ryker's improved Tekkai was something formidable.
"It appears I need to use more raw power in my attacks," Seilah sighed as she extended her right arm outward, her palm facing the spot Ryker landed. "Elder Devil's Aura: Pitch Shadow Diviner!"
Firing the blast down at Ryker's position, the sea around it was blasted away to reveal the already cracked seafloor beneath. The water itself washed over the ports in the area, putting out many fires but also killing anyone in said ports who may have survived up until that point.
Seilah narrowed her eyes as she noticed Ryker get to his feet, his apparent resistance to the seawater on his person enough to allow him to use Geppo and escape what would have otherwise been his watery grave.
"It seems you are indeed powerful," Seilah admitted as she landed on the soaked ground before Ryker who had dropped down to one knee the moment he reached dry land. "I doubt you could have compared to someone like Roger, but you are indeed powerful nonetheless."
"In the name of Justice … I cannot lose to the likes of you," Ryker coughed, spitting up some seawater as he shakily rose to his feet. "For the men you so ruthlessly slaughtered and for the countless lives you and Dragneel have taken up until this point … I swear I'll put you down!"
"That drivel again," Seilah sniffed in disappointment. "The very words fall hollow the moment you try and perform them in the name of your supposed 'Justice' instead of purely in the name of your fallen comrades. The World Government has all but bastardized the word Justice, using it as a Call To Arms yet dirtying its very definition."
"You know nothing of Justice," Ryker spat as he coated his fists in Armament Haki. "What could a despicable beast ever know about it!?"
"I lay no claim to feel sorrow for the lives I take, I shall admit this freely. But you, do you not question your sense of Justice?"
"And just why the hell would I!?"
"Look around us," Seilah gestured at the ruined Archipelago. "Tens of thousands have perished with thousands more injured. Funny isn't it how the ones almost solely responsible for such destruction are in fact you, The World Government."
"THAT'S A LIE!"
"Is it? Are these craters not formed from Admiral Kizaru's attacks against my Master? What about the yellow light beams that have been toppling the Yarukiman Mangroves, treasured Groves that have been around centuries before we ever set foot here? Does the blame not lie at the feet of those who commit the crime, or does such justifications only work if you disagree with the Government?"
"We have authorization to end this madness Dragneel and the Straw Hats have succumbed to," Ryker seethed even as he looked around at the ruined landscape. "The damages to Sabaody are extensive, but you Pirates dare to resist and that … that blame lies solely with you which in turn makes YOU and your kind the ones responsible!"
"I'm astonished that you somehow managed to come to such an incorrect answer," Seilah said after several moments of disbelief. "To think that you would simply pass the blame over to us for damages that your forces have caused … You are no better than a child who shifts blame in order to avoid being scolded!"
"Th-!"
"Enough," Seilah hissed as a Blood Red Aura exploded around her entire body. "You have just lost the right to speak with me, Human. I cannot in good conscience consider one who would reach such an answer as an intelligent being, therefore you are now a primitive entity in my eyes … a 'beast' if you will."
"A beast," Ryker snarled as Seilah shifted into a defensive stance. "The only beasts in this world are those who defy the World Government and its Justice!"
Ryker charged toward Seilah with his right fist cocked back, ready to strike the Demon who caught the fist with ease. Inching her head out of the way, Seilah avoided a punch to the head before delivering a brutal knee to the face as she flipped in mid-air and kicked the General in the chest.
Ryker skidded backward but recovered quickly, already charging once again however this time he utilized Soru. With his speed greatly increased he vanished just before striking Seilah and appeared behind her.
"Ash Ash: Soru Shigan – Dangan Chaji!"
In the time it took for Ryker's extended index finger to reach Seilah's back it was already far too late for the man to dodge as Seilah sent a tendril of the strange substance out from her own Shadow to wrap around the man's leg.
"What-!"
"Elder Devil's Aura: Pitch Shadow Ivy!"
Ryker found the attack that constricted his leg was now piercing the skin as more shot up from the ground to ensnare him. Gritting his teeth, Ryker activated his Tekka Saidaka, blocking more of them from being able to wound him as he fell to the ground with an audible thud.
"That version of the Tekkai seems to have one fatal flaw," Seilah mused as she turned around to face her opponent. "It maximizes the power of Tekkai at the cost of any movement speed whatsoever. Useful in a pinch such as when I almost killed you earlier or now, but also dangerous if your foe is as powerful as I."
"Rokushiki: Soru Saidaka!"
Vanishing from the ground, Seilah's eyes tracked the man as he retreated from his current position to stand closer to one of the downed Mangroves. Reappearing atop one of its branches he already had an attack in his right hand which he fired upward into the sky.
"Ash Ash: Niwakaame!"
Seilah's eyes narrowed as she analysed the attack, a large ball of Ash exploding in the air to release a nearly constant supply of the substance down upon the area like rain. It was obvious that Ryker was going to try and use the environment to his advantage therefore the easiest solution would be to simply blast it away before it had a chance to truly settle.
Preparing to generate an attack powerful enough, Seilah was surprised to find Ash Tendrils had risen up from the ground to restrain her arms. Tugging against them experimentally, she wasn't too surprised to find them durable.
"The games end here," Ryker shouted as he charged toward her with his leg coated in Armament Haki and Ash. "Ash Ash: Rokushiki Tekkai – Kotai-ko Susu!"
The attack smashed Seilah across the face as she felt her jaw crack from the sheer strength behind it, the Ash sticking to her face as the General skidded to a stop behind her.
"I know you felt that one, Demon," the General sneered as he prepared to strike again. "By combining the power of Tekkai with my Devil Fruit I can create Ash so solid it becomes harder than steel!"
"So what," Seilah replied as she spat out a glob of blood.
"So, this," Ryker replied gleefully as he snapped his fingers.
Seilah screamed as the Ash on her face exploded, searing away flesh as the fire began to eat away at the rest of her face. Ryker simply laughed as he blasted away the smoke, eager to see her suffering.
"Now, that is a much more fitting look for a beast such as yourself," the General said as he walked up and traced a finger over her now exposed jaw and teeth, the skin around the left side of her face having been destroyed in its entirety as blood pooled at the ground beneath her feet. "It only gets worse from here …"
Ryker punched the exposed part of her face, knocking several of her already exposed teeth out as the Demon let out a guttural snarl, a maddening gleam in her eyes. As the General moved to strike her again, the Shadows all around them rose up forcing the man to jump back.
"You would still fight!?"
The Shadows consumed her entirely, freeing her from the Ash bindings as she reappeared nearby on her knees clutching her face. Looking up at Ryker, the man took a step back as sweat began to trickle down the back of his neck.
Looking up at him, Seilah's mangled face was grinning at him. Her exposed bones and remaining teeth mixed in with blood and melted flesh created a horrifying image which made the General consider only one thing.
Fear.
"No … No, you can't still have the will to fight after being wounded like that!"
Seilah didn't respond with words, her mouth no longer able to move properly as she got down on all fours and charged at the General. Her right wing, the one that wasn't damaged, slammed into him which sent a blast of Pitch-Black through his entire body before launching the man across the area they were fighting in.
Hitting the side of a large hill, Ryker almost immediately launched himself out of the crater he'd found himself in and blocked a slash from above with a Haki clad fist. Seilah simply vanished and came at him from the opposite side with both legs, firing off two aerial slash attacks which slashed Ryker in the left-hand side of his body.
Stumbling backward as blood spilled from the man, Seilah rushed him and landed a fierce head butt to the same area. Ryker grunted before punching her in the top of the skull with a Haki clad fist which knocked her into the ground.
"Ash Ash: Rokushiki – Bakuhatsu-sei No Hai!"
Vanishing and appearing in the air, Ryker fired a series of Ash based aerial slash attacks at Seilah's downed form. To his surprised however, she simply started charging forward blindly, not even bothering to lift her face up off of the ground as her arm joints snapped into an unsettling position.
"Just what the hell are you," Ryker shouted as he fired more of the attacks, the first lot reaching the ground and exploding.
Eventually, Seilah ceased her running and flipped upside down, her arms now facing backward as she looked up at Ryker with a possessed look. On instinct he immediately began firing as many attacks down at her as he could however this only triggered a horrifying gurgling sound which Ryker knew full well was laughter.
As her now dislocated arms and legs entered a crouched stance, Seilah's half broken form launched itself into the air with her broken wings flapping pitifully to propel her up to his position.
"STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME," Ryker roared as he clapped his hands together, his arms both turning into Ash as a massive plume of it was fired in her direction.
Seilah didn't even bother trying to avoid the attack and charged right into it. Immediately, Ryker began detonating his attack but was horrified to see an even more damaged Seilah emerge with that same disgusting smile.
"This can't be real," he gasped as the disjointed arms and legs spun around and wrapped onto his body. "No … NO!"
Trying to enter his Logia state, Ryker was shocked when he found himself unable to. Looking down he quickly realized that there were bones jutting out from where Seilah's elbows should have been that had pierced his sides, Aura being channelled into him which in turn prevented him from morphing into an intangible state.
It was only after this that Ryker realized the pair of them had begun to spin at an impossible rate. He couldn't even see a blur, only Pitch-Black as Seilah prepared for another attack.
"Damn you," Ryker roared as he coated his index finger in Haki. "Rokushiki: Shigan Saidaka!"
Repeatedly stabbing Seilah in the throat seemed to do absolutely nothing to the Demon as both their bodies were hurled toward the ground at impossible to track speeds. To an outside observer, the pair had in face vanished in a puff of black smoke and reappeared a mere metre above ground before smashing into it with enough force to create a sizeable crater.
Following the impact, the pair bounced upward and a crater ten times the size was formed followed by a massive explosion. The entire area was ripped apart as Seilah's form rolled away from Ryker's and came to a stop somewhere close to the crater's edge.
The form constantly twitched as the head tried to reposition itself but failed to so much as budge an inch. Ryker's form was bloodied, his clothing torn to shreds with countless lacerations littering his upper body and several chunks of skin having been taken out of his sides.
The man coughed violently and rolled onto his front, using all his strength to rise to his knees. Panting heavily, he looked over at Seilah's form and grit his teeth, placing his hands on the ground as he crawled closer.
"Well … guess now … this is it," the General panted as he got closer to realize why she did nothing more than twitch.
Her head was facing the wrong way, eyes wide and mouth agape with blood and drool escaping her mouth. Due to her already damaged body, the position she had taken to try and take-out Ryker had resulted in her snapping her own neck upon impact with only her Aura and Demonic endurance keeping her alive.
"I don't know what the hell you really are," Ryker growled as he grabbed a nearby rock and raised it above his head. "But I'm ending this, RIGHT NOW!"
Bringing the rock down, Ryker began to bash Seilah's skull in as she let out audible gurgling groans. Unable to defend herself, she had no choice but to take the attacks as the General caved her head in as she fell into her mindscape.
/?/
"I didn't think it would come to this …"
"You knew it was inevitable though!"
"I am not all knowing, despite what I am. You would do well to remember that."
"She is our first success since Natsu yet she is successful only because of THAT!"
"A fitting entity to match her Master, don't you agree?"
"The rage of it when we captured it, forced it into her … The Nightmare!"
"All of it now safely sealed away within her, ready to awaken when it is needed most."
"What is it? What was that thing TRULY meant to be?"
"The Gentle Darkness? It is a being that was once flesh and blood like us, a being that was once part of a group known as The Unholy Thirteen …"
"Th-The Unholy Thirteen!? You've told me about The Unholy Twelve before … where'd this Thirteenth one come from!?"
"They were once Thirteen, until 'she' went too far and was destroyed for it. I will not bore you with the details of her crimes however it should be noted that although she was destroyed on a physical level, her Shadow lived on and over time she became that which we subdued today. A vengeful Spirit forever doomed to wander … until now."
"You would bring something like that back!?"
"This body will one day be capable of wielding the power of the Thirteenth, willingly or otherwise I cannot even begin to speculate."
"And what makes you think she'll just willingly cooperate!?"
"She will. A being of Darkness and one of the Thirteen she may be but even she is not immune to having her own being merged with that of another Demonic entity. The two will fuse together and she will undoubtedly inherit our latest Demon's loyalty to E.N.D, seeing him in the same light she once saw … The First."
"When you say 'The First,' do you mean-?"
"I do indeed mean 'HIM' and never forget that."
/Seilah's Mindscape/
"What was the point of that," Seilah asked confusedly as she looked over at the near identical entity across from her that bore her old form. "Aside from it outlining who you are specifically, how does this help us?"
"I am the Thirteenth, the Devil Of Gentle Darkness. Or, perhaps I am the last vestiges of my true self? Either way, what matters is what I can do for us so that we may live."
"You have a means of fixing us and defeating Ryker?"
"The power of these Devil Fruit Users is rather puzzling even for one such as I," Darkness sighed before grinning. "However, there is one sure-fire way to not only live and defeat Ryker, but also torture the scum and damage the World Government whilst doing it!"
"How," Seilah asked only for the Devil to silence her by placing a finger on her lips.
"You now have my form and a miniscule amount of my power, but my techniques you have yet to even scratch the surface of. In order to successfully use this technique, you will however need to know something, something that I don't want even Lord Natsu to know just yet."
"What is it," Seilah asked hesitantly as Darkness cupped her cheek.
"My True Name."
/Grove 12/
Bringing the rock down one last time, Ryker turned Seilah's brain into pulp. The entire front of her face had been caved in brutally with its insides now nothing more than mush. The General panted and stumbled to his feet before letting his Ash fall freely from his body.
"You were strong … but not strong enough," Ryker snarled as the Ash slowly consumed Seilah's corpse. "Now … time to deal with the others."
Turning around in the direction the Straw Hats had run off to, Ryker failed to notice a thin black line travel between his Ash until it reached his Shadow. The line then melded with said Shadow with it changing shape to no longer match that of General Ryker.
Unbeknownst to him, his eyes flashed Blood Red momentarily before fading back to their usual colour as he slowly stumbled his way after the Straw Hats. His Shadow grinned before morphing back into one that matched his own appearance as explosions continued to go off all across the Archipelago.
Hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one!
