Time to spend one more time, with the infant Lincoln. Though they cannot take their leave and spend some time at other places, what matters is that they are all together and spending time with the ones they love, and soon they will see the 13 year old boy they all know and love, and that means they will be back in motion to handle those they defy and avoid. Chapter 441: One last time, with baby Lincoln.
(December 29. The Loud House.)
The morning has struck once again and this time we see Luna Loud and Sam Sharp in the bedroom, but the duo are not on the bed and are on the large mattress they setup and using the presidential seal as a blanket and they both look to the sleeping little one between them, and that little one is none other than the 1 year old formed Lincoln Loud.
The infant is fast asleep and Luna and Sam have chosen to do what they're dream versions (Mother to my Cloned Brother) would do, lay down there and wait and watch for the cute little white haired baby to wake up, and the sight of Lincoln asleep is enough to make their hearts feel warm.
Both Luna and Sam feel as if a major burden of responsibility has been given to them and it has come in the form of this little one. Luna then looks towards Sam and Sam looks towards Luna and they both smile, then they look to the sleeping infant as he moves around and stirs.
Luna smiles seeing how small, cute and worth keeping safe he is now. 'Oh Linky. Even if you are gonna be the son I know by the time tomorrow comes, you will always be my little Linky. The sweet little adorable one whom I knew long ago and wanted to take care of.'
Sam is also feeling and thinking of the same thing as she looks at this baby. 'I didn't think these days would go down so fast, and soon you're gonna be the Lincoln Loud we all know and love, but that doesn't mean we can't have this kind of moment again. We'll be having more of this, soon.'
Just then, the baby slowly blinks and he flutters his eyes and rubs them. Little Lincoln yawns a little and he looks around and is slightly confused, but then he looks towards Sam and he sleepily smiles, then he looks towards Luna and he smiles at the way she looks.
Luna and Sam both smile and see Lincoln slowly getting up and he looks to the two teenage girls. This makes Luna and Sam smirk at the way he is happy to see them awake as well. "Good Morning little Linky. Ready for an awesome day again?"
Lincoln giggles and claps and then he stops and looks to his hands, confused to how he made the clapping sounds and this makes Luna and Sam giggle. "Silly little curious Linky." They have a big day ahead of them.
(Hours later.)
We now see the rest of the family, all of them having some nice breakfast and Lori is the one feeding Lincoln this time and the others are happy to see Lori spending time with Lincoln, then Michelle asks. "So, you're gonna be going back to jail by the time the New Year's is over, right?"
Lori smiles and she nods. "Yes, yes I am. I have to, it's the one thing I gotta do and finish. But, I will promise you this guys. The time will come and I mean it this time... For when I am gonna be out of jail and ready to start anew."
That is something that surprises them and they stop eating and look to Lori who smiles. "Yeah, it is true." She then feeds Lincoln his baby food that he likes. "After some thinking, perhaps Luna is right. I did do my part and helped so many inmates, now is the time to help myself."
"I wanna try and find a new place in the new change of life, I wanna take the chances and begin something else. I wanna make a future that could mean something for me, even if I might not get what I dreamed of, it's all gonna be alright. AS long as I have all of you nearby giving me hope."
Luna is shocked and she rubs her eyes and tries to see where this is going, but then she smiles. "Good for you, Lori. So, when do you intend to come back to the free world?"
Lori chuckles. "That one is also already planned. The first week of March is my plan. I wanna spend two more months with my cellmate, and the other female inmates whom I have come to call my friends, all of them."
Luna, Sam, Michelle and Delilah are delighted to hear this, and they know that by the time Lincoln is back to normal, he is gonna like this too. But then they have a different idea, and not tell Lincoln, but to instead surprise him about this... But, Luna is willing to tell Leni and Luan about this, she has a plan.
Because Luna knows one thing, Lori deserves a shot to have a better life, as do the others still in jail and juvie. Which begs to question, are Lynn Jr, Rita and Lynn Sr willing to take their part and be released from prison and juvie or will they wanna stay secluded there? Because Luna knows, those three haven't been honest and knows they have something to hide about they're true problems inside them.
(Later in the Day.)
We now go to the living room once more, and this is where we once again see the baby, Lincoln Loud crawling on the floor in his blue shorts, orange t-shirt and little white socks as he plays with the toys he has, and with him is Jordan Rosato and she ensures he is safe when playing with the blocks.
Luna and Sam are both on the couch and watching over them, Lori is in the kitchen making something alongside Harriet, and Delilah is in her room going through some stuff she has to prepare to do when next month hits, and as for Michelle: She is not there, once again she is at the mayor's office preparing for what is to come soon, and what they need to make it a spectacular night for everyone.
Jordan then boops the nose of little Lincoln and this makes him giggle and smile, and then he grabs some blocks and he tries to make a tower and Jordan helps him with this, and then she looks to Luna and Sam. "You girls prepared for tomorrow with Linky here?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, we are. We all are, we know Lincoln has to turn back to normal soon, and I also kinda miss my 13 year old boy. I wanna spend some time with him."
"Same here" replied Sam. "But I gotta ready my parents and little bro when tomorrow comes, we're all gonna have a big family new year's stick after all, and it's gonna be rockin' awesome."
They all watch as Lincoln is enjoying his playtime, then they see Lori and Harriet come out of the dining room and they have a tray of delicious chocolate chip cookies, and the smell is quite an aroma and they see Delilah slowly floating down after smelling the delicious chocolate baked goods.
Lincoln slowly stands up and he wants one too and he reaches from Lori, she smiles and then she places the bowl of chocolate chip cookies onto the table and then Jordan picks up Lincoln and sits in between Luna and Sam and they enjoy the cookies.
Jordan even grabs one and she feeds it to the baby and he already loves it, and this makes them all awe at the cute look he has after eating the cookie, which means he really does love it. Something they have seen, from Lincoln since he really likes chocolate chip cookies.
Just by looking at her son and the way he is happy, makes Luna know that even though the baby is taking over this side of Lincoln, he is in there and enjoying how everything is going on from the outside world and soon Lincoln will return when the next day comes, something all of them are looking forward to.
Then Jordan asks. "Hey guys, do your hero counterparts know about this gift Lincoln requested from FutureTech?"
Luna and Sam wanna respond, but then they stop and they are also confused and ask themselves. 'Wait, do our hero counterparts and Lincoln's even know about this?' That is something meant for next time.
(Night Time.)
As the night has fallen, we now see that the large mattress has been setup, and now Luna and Sam are both making it nice and soft with the presidential seal as the blanket once more, and Sam has little Lincoln Loud in her arms and he snuggles close as he is now sleepy. Well, a little sleepy.
Sam then sees Luna walk towards her and so she hands her the 1-year old baby and then Luna brings her son to the mattress and she lays down, and then she raises little Lincoln in front of her and the baby giggles and laughs and feels as if he is flying and he looks towards Luna and he reaches for her.
Luna chuckles and she brings him close, and allows Lincoln to rest on her chest, the baby then goes closer and looks to the way Luna looks and he smiles. Luna giggles and she shares a nose kiss with her son. "Hello, Linky." The baby giggles and then Lincoln sees Sam and reaches for her.
Sam then goes over and she grabs the infant and then she boops his nose, which makes him giggle and then Sam does a raspberry to the belly of the baby and this makes little Lincoln giggle and laugh and then Sam shares a nose kiss with him, and he smiles. But then the baby yawns and rubs his eyes.
They know that the time to sleep is here, and so Sam lays down next to her girlfriend, and then she has Lincoln between them both and then the baby smiles and he looks to Sam, and then he looks towards Luna, and the sight of this baby still happy is enough to warm their hearts knowing he loves them very much, and sees them both as his mother's meant to be.
Luna then pulls her son close to her and this make the infant smile and happy and then he hugs Luna back and slowly closes his eyes and sleeps in her embrace, Luna and Sam see this and are awed by his cute sleeping face, then Sam scooches closer and she hugs Luna and Lincoln.
The two teenage girls look to each other, they share a small kiss and then speak in unison. "Goodnight, babe." Then they look towards Lincoln. "Goodnight Linky. See you tomorrow, when the return of the boy we know is made and set."
Luna and Sam then slowly close their eyes and they too join the cute bundle of white-haired joy in this slumber, for tomorrow they are gonna have a big day and an awesome time with the return of the boy they know, Lincoln Loud.
