So, this is a moment where stuff are changing and coming at them and one of them is Michelle and Delilah, and a conversation involving a hard-working and friendly priest, and this might change everything for the future of the Lewis Loud lady, and her daughter. Enjoy reading this everyone.

Chapter 447: Michelle, Delilah and a Date night.

(January 6. Royal Woods Middle School.)

School is done for the day and Delilah is walking alongside her cousin, Lincoln and the boy asks her about what went down days ago. "So, you think that Father Chisel and your mom are gonna hit it off and go on a date?"

Delilah nods. "Dang right there, Lincoln. Seeing how they're so happy together, and how cute it was to stare into each other's eyes... Now that was a totally clear sign that they both are into each other, I have a plan to make this work."

"Now, I know that my mom is gonna be home early today to deal with something she has planned, which are some upcoming events around the town, and so when I do make it back home, then I will help her try and ask out the priest himself on a date!"

"This plan is full proof and I know that it will not go wrong, I mean Harriet will be there and she might already know about this plan, and she might steer clear and allow me to do what I can to help my mom find the courage and talk to Father Chisel. You planning to head back to the house as well, Linc?"

Lincoln smirks. "Sorry there Delilah, but I got my own plans today. So, looks like it'll be you, Michelle and Harriet. Also, we plan to check on someone next week on Sunday and that would be Lynn, you're free to tag along."

"Awesome!" said Delilah. She then checks her time. "Well, I don't have any plans, and I will see you later." She then races off out of the school and feeling positive about this day.

Lincoln makes it outside and watches Delilah put on her helmet and knee pads. Then Jordan stands next to Lincoln as they watch Delilah go onto her bike and ride off. "So, is her plan gonna work out?"

Lincoln doesn't seem content about it. "No clue, Jordan. But what are the odds that Michelle already asked out Father Chisel? Or perhaps he asked her out?"

Jordan giggles. "We may never know, Lincoln Loud. Also, we should get going, the others are gonna be waiting for us at the arcade, and I think I heard them talk about some brand new prizes on the prize wall of Gus'." Lincoln and Jordan take their leave from the school.

They didn't even notice Flat Tire coming out from the principal's office and not looking pleased. 'The fifth time I am getting detention. My parents are gonna be so mad at me for this, dang it!'

(The Loud House.)

We go to the Loud House and Delilah has arrived, she already gets off from her bike as it is moving and her bike races into the garage and stops in place as it is now wedged between two tool boxes. How convenient that is.

Meanwhile, something is going on with Mr. Grouse along with Lola, Lana, Lisa and Darcy and they are talking about what they can do to split the large diamond they found near the Royal Woods Baseball Diamond Park.

Delilah then removes her helmet and knee pads and she goes into the house. "Hey, I'm' home guys." She looks round and sees her mother, Michelle Lewis Loud at the dining room table and sorting out the papers she has to try and check.

"Hey, sweetie. So, how was school?"

Delilah then goes over to one of the chairs and she responds. "Everything's alright. Nothing new, just one project which I can handle and it's about the history of the Civil War, but enough about me mom. What about you? Have you been doing anything else lately mom?"

Michelle is confused by this and she looks to her right and sees the expression from Delilah. Stars in her eyes, and a happy and cheerful grin. "Ummm, everything is fine. Just need to deal with this paper work, also are you alright sweetie?"

Delilah giggles. "Never better mom, also I have this special plan to help you with that small problem."

Michelle is confused. "Delilah, what are you talking about? What small problem?"

Delilah smirks. "The big date problem thing. Now, I know how you can be able to talk to Father Chisel and ask him on a date..."

"Delilah..."

"The best option is to go to the church where he works and then wait for after he is done with his task, though the best chance is when he is busy sweeping around the place."

"Delilah..."

"Then if the ambience is nice and looking amazing, then you can talk to him and share a small conversation that would lighten the mood and not make things awkward since you'll be in the house of god."

"Delilah..."

"After that, then ask him out and be calm and not nervous, though it would be a nervous thing when it comes to the girl asking the guy, though it is the same thing when the guy asks the girl on a date and..."

"Delilah, there is no need for that. Father Chisel already asked me today to go on a date with him" replied Michelle.

Delilah is about to continue, but then she stops and looks to Michelle. "Wait, what?! When?! How?!"

(Flashback.)

Michelle is busy doing her normal work and checking for any upcoming events and thinking of ideas and ways for these events to be made possible and then she recaps that around the early weeks of March is when they get ready the Royal Woods Music Festival and she also recalls Great Lakes City will have one a week after.

Just then someone comes into the office area and Michelle sees who it is, and that someone is none other than Father Roland P. Chisel. "Oh, hey there Father Chisel. What brings you here?"

Father Chisel then takes the time to catch his breath and speak what he needs to. "There is nothing wrong happening, I just came here to speak with you about something special and it's just you and me and nothing else, no issues and no turmoil's."

Then he recalls something. "Though, I should inform you that I have talked to the Royal Woods Choir club and they are willing to perform a beautiful song that I have been making, but I have some other plans if it doesn't work and that one is for the Royal Woods Music Festival coming on March."

Michelle smiles hearing this. "Oh, great alright then. We can have you be the opening act, well the choir and if this does sound awesome, then we're sure this will be the best opening in this year's music festival. Is there anything else? I mean you did say that..."

"Michelle Lewis Loud, I wish to go on a date with you tomorrow at The Burnt Bean Cafe."

Michelle drops her pen and is wide eyed and surprised. "Wait, what? Whoa..."

Father Chisel sighs. "Yeah, I know. This was not the best idea, I am sorry for wasting your time. I should..."

"No, no. Wait." Michelle gets off from her seat and she goes over to the priest. "I just... This is so sudden and I didn't see this coming, but... Yeah, I'll go with you on a date tomorrow."

Father Chisel is surprised and he smiles. "Wow, alright then. Great, I will pick you up at your place by around 5:30, how's that sound?"

Michelle giggles. "I'd like that. I guess I will see you tomorrow?"

Father Chisel smirks. "To the fact I take morning strolls after 7 in the morning, I might see you around sooner than that." The duo share a small chuckle and then Michelle watches as Father Chisel leaves the place.

Michelle sighs and she feels over the moon hearing this, and she gets back to her desk to finish her work and she doesn't know that Mayor Davis saw all of it and she smiles, she is proud that Michelle found someone, she just didn't think it'd be the priest everyone knows around town.

(End Flashback.)

Delilah is speechless and she is lost in the head after hearing that and then Michelle speaks. "And as you may see now, coming tomorrow I will be going on a date with Roland P. Chisel, and it's gonna be something, and I will be wearing something nice on this date with that man, this should be fun and..."

Michelle then looks to her daughter and she is confused. "Delilah, are you doing okay?"

Delilah is breathing heavily and she looks like she might explode or something. "Mom, this is awesome! You're going to go on a date, with the very same guy I was planning to have you get together since we met him! This is so awesome!"

Michelle chuckles. "Well, yeah it is awesome. I like the guy and I know he likes me, but we can't be too sure or into the relationship until we see more dates even further, and I have to get ready, but I got time for that tomorrow..."

"No. No you do not mom!" Delilah goes over to Michelle and she places her hands to the cheeks of her mother. "Today, I shall help you finish the work you need to accomplish, and when we are done, we are going to find you something to wear."

"Normally it would be a wise and smart idea to go to the Royal Woods Mall, but this is a first date you and Father Chisel are about to have, and I know how this will work out, so will you trust me with this task mom?"

Michelle is super-confused by this. "Ummm, sure? I guess. Delilah, let go of my face."

Delilah does so. "Sorry mom, we just need to get this done!" Delilah then grabs some of the papers and she begins to read what they are all about and this confuses Michelle, but she smiles and is happy that her daughter is helping, because Michelle has to be ready for her big date tomorrow.
