Okay, so the days have gone by and Lincoln is still recovering and at the state where he has a lot to try and get over, and his family is there to try and help him get through this, and I would like to thank Eyowtiqrup for this along with the other aftermaths. Enjoy reading thus everyone.

Chapter 454: Recovering from the Trauma.

(January 15. The Loud House.)

The sun has shone, and that means morning has come, and right now Lincoln Loud is asleep in his bed and by his side is Luna, and she slowly stirs and she opens her eyes and sees her son, Lincoln still snoozing and she feels upset about the way he is now.

Days have gone by and after news went out he is excused from school and Delilah and Jordan have been bringing his school work and Sam is doing the same for Luna, since she still wants to keep an eye on her son in case he snaps or loses it.

They do their schoolwork, and they do it close by inside the bedroom. Lincoln hasn't left the house since, and has been wanting more comfort and company from either his mother, Jordan, Delilah, Michelle, Sam or Harriet. He didn't seem fond about anyone else.

Leni, Luan, Lana, Lola, Lucy and Lisa have been coming by to check up on him, but he refuses to see anyone else he is not always around, not even some of his friends from school. Luna recalls that he freaked out when he saw Jackie and Mandee come in to talk, and they had to leave.

'Linc, I don't want you to continue like this. But I fear for how your sanity is. You've been scarred and ruined in the head. I don't want you to be in fear, this recovery is not like the others and I just... I wanna take this pain and suffering away from you and just...'

She then sees her son struggling and stirring in his sleep and he sheds some tears and this puts concern all over Luna and she sits up and sees her son struggling and panicking, and he is making gibberish sounds as if he is crying for someone to save him.

Luna then gets up and she tries to wake up her son. "Lincoln, Lincoln wake up! Wake up Lincoln!"

(Inside the Dream.)

Inside of the dream, Lincoln is running for his life and his clothes have been torn off, and the three figures chasing them are the bullies Taylor, Pablo and Anderson, only they are a three headed monster, and Taylor roars to the boy. "Come back little boy, I wanna fuck you some more!"

Lincoln continues to run and run and run, and he sheds tears and he calls out for someone to save him. "Someone! Anyone, someone help me. Please!"

Then his foot is grabbed by the monsters tentacles, and Lincoln is dragged back. "No! Someone! Help me!" He is then pinned to the ground and the monster growls and snickers evilly with red eyes and is about to do something to the boy.

Lincoln cries and he screams out for someone to come. "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy, save me! No, please! Mommy!"

(Reality.)

Lincoln opens his eyes, he then looks around and sees that he is back in the bedroom and checks himself and sees that he is clothed, and then he sees Luna places her hands on his shoulder and trying to calm him down. "Lincoln, it's okay now. It's over, calm down. Linc it's..."

Lincoln then hugs Luna, and he cries into her chest and she hugs him back and sheds some tears of her own, she knows that her son is still being haunted by the nightmares of what he had to endure, and deep down she feels sorry that she couldn't save her son from these horrible things going on inside his head.

"It's okay, it's okay now Lincoln. Everything is okay, don't cry now, kiddo." she kisses his forehead and she closes her eyes and sobs with her son. Luna knows that what he went through is beyond anything he had to endure, and is deep within his system.

They don't notice that Michelle, Delilah and Harriet notice this and then they close the door and then they talk to each other. "We may have ended the whole thing and got justice upon those who did this to him, but this is still haunting him" replied Delilah with concern. "What the heck do we do now?"

Michelle then looks to Harriet. "Does he still have the same nightmares?"

Harriet nods and she recalls what she saw. "Three headed monster, trying to come for him and he keeps running but to no avail and he ends up getting something that he doesn't want to. Lincoln is scarred, mentally and the only time when he is calm is when he is in the loving arms of Luna."

"His close bond with Luna is what is keeping his mind and sanity in check, he needs some comfort and the courage he once had long ago, but through what he is enduring now, I doubt it'll even come back into his head. We need to find some way to help him, and apparently I cannot."

"His dreams and mind are far off too clouded, my other option is to get aid from across the dimensions and perhaps learn more when it comes to curing trauma that was caused by something horrible. But I have not received any messages from the Guardian."

Delilah then speaks. "Outside help might not work, we need to console him as a family and see if he will be back to the Lincoln we all know and love."

Michelle nods. "Yeah, we can also get Sam and Jordan involved. Since he does seem comfortable when they are around, a dang shame the former louds and some other friends we have can't be a part of this. So, we're gonna have a one day time to spend with Lincoln."

"We keep him indoors, since going outside is something that might also cause some trouble within his thoughts and we make sure he doesn't encounter any views of girls older than Jordan, we keep that in line and perhaps this plan might work..." Deep down she hopes this does work.

Delilah and Harriet nod, they too are in with this plan Michelle has, operation help Lincoln with his sanity back to normal is a go.

(Montage.)

The first thing they all do is enjoy some waffles for breakfast and they made one in the shape of a bunny for Lincoln, but the boy just eats it like normal and doesn't say anything.

The next thing done is Delilah, and she is playing the video game Call of Duty Vanguard, and Lincoln is just watching her play along with Luna, and they all focus on Lincoln who still remains with the same expression of staring at nothing.

Michelle then plays some cards with Lincoln, and then she tries some chess but he has never even made a move and then she chooses to watch some TV with him, but he doesn't watch at anything on the TV and still has the same expression on his face.

Harriet tries to read some books with him, but that doesn't do much but make him fall asleep and then scream in horror as he had gained another nightmare attack and Harriet has to comfort him, and then Luna comes to help as well.

Jordan arrived, and she tries to cheer up Lincoln with some simple talk about what has been going on school and then trying to play a multiplayer game with him, but Lincoln doesn't respond and ends up losing more than 10 times.

Sam Sharp comes over, and she tries to jam some musical tunes with Lincoln, but that doesn't work and all Lincoln does is listen to the acoustic tunes from Sam and then go over and hug her, to which she returns the hug and cries with him.

Last is Luna, and she too jams with them, but Lincoln doesn't rock with them and watches them perform, but after the song he just walks over and hugs Luna, and she returns the embrace followed by Sam joining in.

Later, Luna is in the bathtub with her son and she does what she can to calm him down and make him feel better, and this ends up with Lincoln embracing Luna and she returns the hug and tries to comfort him once more.

Later in the afternoon all of them are playing a board game, and Harriet tries not to be an ace at this. But throughout the whole thing, Lincoln remains silent and in the same expression as he was before.

After that, they all watch an Age Appropriate movie to which Luna notices her son's state and she snaps him out of it so he can watch the movie with them, but they are all still so concerned about what Lincoln is going through, and this truly scares them.

(End Montage.)

We now see Lincoln, Luna, Delilah and Michelle eating dinner, and Harriet watches over them from the kitchen and they notice the state Lincoln is in. He is eating, but he remains silent and just has the same traumatized expression as he did before.

They need to think of something and so Delilah speaks. "Ummm, well somewhere around next week I am going to start my training with Adelaide. I know where to take her, and I don't plan to train her when I get to Great Lakes City, I wanna avoid distractions and trouble."

Michelle smiles hearing this. "Well, that's a good thing sweetie. You are teaching her what you have known, and chances she will be an amazing student. Training her to be something more than a star student at the local karate class at Great Lakes City."

Then Luna speaks. "Speaking of training..." She then looks towards Lincoln. "How about we do some training? You, me, Jordan and Sam, I can give our counterparts a call and they can come over and..."

Lincoln then stops eating and he drinks his water and then continues to eat, he remains silent and doesn't say a single word. Luna knows that this is not working and her son is still in a shattered state. 'Lincoln, I wish I can help you but... This is crazy, what the hell do we do now?'

(Moments later.)

Dinner is finished, and Luna is on the couch and her son is fast asleep on her lap, and she is in her bedtime clothes, and Luna knows that ever since then he has become quite the heavy sleeper, and she is not alone there.

Delilah, Michelle and Harriet are also there, and then Luna speaks. "Guys, I have a plan to help Lincoln." All of them look towards Luna and she informs them. "Tomorrow, we all spend a day with Lincoln. We bring him out to the backyard to try and spend some time with him and it'll act as a step one to trying to adapt to being outside once more, so that perhaps he would be able to adapt with being around other folks again."

"I know that all sounds like a dangerous and serious ordeal that might not go so well, but I know for sure that through this, Lincoln will be himself and the moments of bad memories and nightmares from what he went through will be all but faded and he'll be back to the Lincoln we know and love again."

"We need to take this, we need to make this happen..." Luna then kisses her son's forehead. "Sam and Jordan were told, and I need to know if the rest of you are chill with this plan. Are you all okay with this?"

All of them felt like it might end badly, but knowing Luna, she might have made a plan that could truly help her son after the dire ordeal he had. They all nod towards Luna, and this makes her smile knowing that they're all in an agreement.

"Awesome." Luna then grabs her phone. "Now to make this plan worked, I need to make some calls to the two folks who will be here to come and help him."

A/N: Lincoln is still undergoing problems within, and even the help from family didn't seem enough, and so let us hope this plan Luna has works. I do hope some of you enjoyed this new chapter.
