So, time to put the plan Luna has in motion, and perhaps this might help change Lincoln and allow him to calm down and recover from what he had to endure last week, a starting step so he can be himself once more and I would like to thank "Eyowtiqrup" for the concept of this, and the rest of the aftermath chapters. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Chapter 455: Sunday recovering plan.

(January 16. The Loud House.)

The following day has come, and right now Lincoln is in tears and he is embraced by his mother, Luna. She woke up minutes ago when her son woke up and screamed, and she knows that her son got another nightmare, and the boy refuses to address on what it was.

Luna understands and she won't ask him anything else about what he dreamt about but she is concerned about how he is handling recovering, and there doesn't seem to be any chance that he can even recover from this.

Luna then feels her son shivering, but he has stopped crying, and then she departs from the hug, and she looks to the hurt expression on her son, and so she wipes away his tears and then she kisses his forehead. "Lincoln, I wanna help you. We all wanna help you, but you also have to help yourself."

"I know that what you went through was so horrible, and scary. But it's all over now, and those bad people are not coming back... You think you can be a brave boy for me and try to be ready for this day? Because I got something special for us."

Lincoln thinks about this, then he nods but he doesn't speak. Luna smiles and she hugs her son again. "There, there. We're all fine now, the nightmare is over and they're not coming back. You're a brave little boy, you are my brave little boy and I will always love you, kiddo."

Deep down, Lincoln could feel as if some small spark of hope or chance is building, a chance for him to be brave and recover from what he had to endure last week.

(Later in the Day.)

We're now in the living room and so Lincoln and Luna have chosen to be there and enjoy some late breakfast time. The duo remained in the bedroom until 8 in the morning, and now here they are in their day clothes and enjoying the pancakes and bacon.

The duo are also watching some TV, but then Lincoln stops eating and he looks to his mother and then he asks. "Mommy, what did you have planned?" Hearing this surprises Luna. Delilah, Michelle and Harriet are in the dining room and are surprised that he spoke.

Luna is about to say something, but then she hears the doorbell ring and then she checks the time. "The plan is already here, and they're on time too." Luna then gets up, but she looks back to her son. "Stay here kiddo, be right back."

Lincoln nods and he watches as Luna goes to the front door, and she opens it and then she allows the folks from outside to come in, and they are Sam Sharp and Jordan Rosato. Lincoln smiles seeing them, and seeing the boy smile surprises Sam and Jordan.

The duo look to Luna and she nods. "We had a talk this morning, and he is willing to try to recover and I didn't think he would speak, but he did and this is a good start for him." Jordan then goes over and she hugs Lincoln, and the boy returns the embrace and smiles, he also sheds a few tears and so does Jordan.

Sam sees this and she feels as if the boy she knows and loves as a son is recovering and returning slowly, and now seeing this gives her hope that she can help bring him back, and so do the others.

(Later.)

Later, we see Sam and Lincoln and the duo are playing a racing game. Sam is impressed, that Lincoln is playing as he normally does and he is doing well, he doesn't seem to be going as fast as she is, but he is catching up and then she asks. "Linc, are you still doing the Ace Savvy comic?"

Lincoln doesn't respond, but he whispers. "I just... N-No, I'm not. Sorry."

Sam then pauses the game, and she hugs the boy and so Lincoln returns the hug. "It's alright. You wanna heal first, then when the time comes then you can be the awesome and adorable kid whom I know and love. I know you can pull through."

While this is going on, Jordan is talking with Luna and Michelle and they explain to her about his nightmares still ongoing and this upsets her. "I am concerned about Lincoln when tomorrow comes, I mean he hasn't been in school since January 12, and others wanna help him" replied Jordan.

Luna nods. "As much as I wanna have him go, he might become unstable and lose his cool. I don't wanna see my boy breakdown and lose himself. I just, we need to figure something out that could help, and I was hoping this day with the plan I made might be the answer to it."

Michelle then speaks. "This is the plan from a concerned mother who wants her boy to be the one she knows and loves, and I know this plan will work. At least the one thing that is good, is that Taylor, Anderson and Pablo aren't here anymore."

Jordan is still angered at the three bullies and what they did to her boyfriend. "Oh, what I would do to beat the living crap out of that damned bully and her friends. I wanna beat them till they cannot walk or even talk anymore."

Luna and Michelle also agree, but they all can't do anything but hope those three might die where they are being held.

(Hours later.)

Lunch time is done and they all enjoyed the ham and egg sandwiches that Luna made, since Michelle went to the mall alongside Delilah, and Harriet is not in the house and went off to inform about this to Albert (Pop-pop.)

So, it is just Lincoln, Luna, Sam and Jordan in the living room and the group are watching some TV, and it's an animal documentary about Hermit Crabs performing a shell home trade, and it's something Lincoln is curious and confused.

Luna then pulls her son close to her, and he smiles and snuggles onto her side and Luna places a kiss on his forehead. Seeing the smile on his face, was giving them hope that he is doing his part to recover.

Just then, the TV screen changes and they see that the TV is on the news about the ordeal involving Lincoln Loud, and after he was raped by Pablo, Anderson and Taylor, and this just got worse. Lincoln is now breathing heavily, and this makes Luna, Jordan and Sam go over and try to console him.

Lincoln then screams and he panics, and this triggers Luna to hug him and calm him down. Jordan and Sam join in and try to comfort him, and they can feel the boy shiver and shed some tears, and they can tell that this turned worse and unexpected.

Sam then grabs the TV remote and she turns off the TV. They all continue this embrace, and they hear the sobbing sounds from Lincoln, his mind is being broken and scarred again. Deep down, this hurts the three girls, the progress of helping Lincoln recover has been ruined.

(Moments later.)

We now arrive to the backyard, and this is where Luna is sitting on the ground under the tree with her son upset and shedding tears as he sits on her lap and leans his head onto her chest. Jordan and Sam sitting close to them and Jordan holding Lincoln's hand and he intertwines his fingers with hers.

Lincoln looks to Jordan, and he wants to tell her something, but Jordan knows what it could be and she speaks. "Linc, please don't. Don't be sorry, the whole thing was never your fault, you were caught off guard and put into a dangerous and horrible position."

"You are a good person, and no matter what happens I will always love you. I swear, that I will do whatever I can to help you recover from this, and that it doesn't happen ever again. I promise, Linc." She then leans in closer and she kisses his cheek.

This makes Lincoln smile and he wipes away his tears. The duo then whisper to each other. "I love you."

Hearing those words, was making Luna and Sam feel the hope is coming back, even though they witnessed a small ordeal on TV, this seems to be working. Lincoln is outside, with good company and he's trying to be himself again even after he broke down.

But then something comes into the thoughts of Luna. 'Damn it, when tomorrow comes Lincoln might not be so good when he goes to school. He will lose his cool and everything is gonna fall apart. I can't let him go to school, not yet.'

(Night Time.)

After dinner with Jordan and Sam, the duo have already headed home, and everyone else is now dressed in their sleeping attire and ready for bed, and everyone has a busy day tomorrow, but Lincoln and Luna have not went to sleep yet.

Luna and Lincoln are both sitting on the lower bunk where Lincoln sleeps, and then Luna asks. "Lincoln, do you wanna stay home tomorrow? I mean, I know you will breakdown when tomorrow hits and you go to the middle school, but I need to know what you think."

Lincoln then thinks about this, but he feels this spark of courage coming up and he looks to his mother. "Mom, I wanna go to school tomorrow. I wanna recover, and I want things to be back to the way they were, please."

Luna wasn't sure about this, but this is not her choice and she did ask her son about what he wants.

Luna then places her hand onto his shoulder. "Well if you think you can handle tomorrow, then alright Lincoln. I'll allow you to go to school tomorrow, but I will be the one to take you there and if anything goes wrong..."

"I'll be sure to call you, I know mom." Lincoln then hugs her, and he whispers. "I love you mom, always."

Luna then returns the embrace. "And I love you too, baby. My wayward son, I will always love you."

Luna then turns off the lamp, and she slowly lays onto the bed, with her son in her embrace, and she looks down to his form and he looks towards her and the mother and son smile and then Luna kisses his forehead and she rubs his hair. "Get some sleep Linc, we got a bit day tomorrow."

With the atmosphere being calm and quiet, and the moment being something comforting, Lincoln slowly closes his eyes and he drifts off to sleep. Luna smiles seeing this and she kisses his forehead. "Goodnight, and see you tomorrow, oh sweet child of mine."

Luna pulls him close, and she too slowly closes her eyes and she drifts off to sleep, and tonight for once in a long while, Lincoln doesn't have any nightmares.

A/N: Lincoln's road to recovery almost lost it, but at least it's slowly building back up and now the next step is when he returns to school. But will he lose his cool and break down? Or will he manage? We can only wait for the next chapter. I do hope that some of you enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
