Time for Lincoln to try and adapt some more by going to school, but can he handle it or will he snap from the pressure, we can only know through this chapter. I also wanna say thank you towards "Eyowtiqrup" for the idea and concept. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Chapter 456: Lincoln returning to school.

(January 17. The Loud House.)

The morning has come, and right now Lincoln Loud is awake and he is dressed for the day, he looks to himself in the mirror and he sighs. 'This is it, Lincoln Loud. The time has come to go back to school and... Gosh dang it. I wish I could get the bad stuff out of my head. I need to try and recover, and be myself again.'

Lincoln then fixes his hair and then he recalls something, but then Luna comes from behind and she helps adjust his hoodie. "Kiddo, calm down. Listen, everything is gonna be fine. Recall, you have friends there, along with Jordan and Delilah."

Luna then kneels down and she hugs her son, and so Lincoln returns the embrace. "They are going to do whatever they can to watch over you, and I even informed the principal and she said she'll tell the staff to be ever watchful over you. Calm down and be cool, alright kiddo?"

Lincoln nods, then they depart from the hug and Luna kisses Lincoln's cheeks and then his forehead. "You got this, but if things don't seem right and you feel like you need me. Then do not be afraid to call me, alright Lincoln?"

Lincoln nods and he kisses her cheeks. "Alright, thanks mom. I love you." He then hugs her again.

Luna smiles and she hugs him back. "I love you too, kiddo. Everything will be alright, I know it."

They don't know that Delilah can see this and she feels bad for Lincoln, but then she gains a boost of courage. 'Don't you worry Lincoln. I got your back, there is no way am I gonna let you break down and lose your cool. The others can trust me, because I will be there for you cousin.'

(Royal Woods Middle School.)

The purple Ferrari of Luna arrives, and the duo of Lincoln and Delilah come out, and then Lincoln looks to the school and he seems nervous, but then Luna pulls him into a hug and then he returns the embrace. "Every little thing is gonna be alright, Lincoln. Everything will be fine, kiddo."

Delilah then speaks. "I'll be here to watch over you, Lincoln. Jordan as well, and if something does turn bad and you can't handle being back at school, then we will inform Principal Ramirez and she will understand. Luna is right, Lincoln. Everything is gonna be fine."

Lincoln then departs from the hug and he looks towards Luna. "Yeah, you're right mom. This is gonna be fine, and I got this. Delilah and Jordan are here, and if I do feel like losing it, then I know when to call you."

Luna smiles and she kisses his forehead. "That's my boy." She then watches as her son is walking towards the school, with Delilah walking close to him and Luna sighs. 'Linc, I hope you'll be fine.' Luna then drives off to her high school and she hasn't been there since last week.

Meanwhile, Lincoln is seen walking alongside Delilah and then Lincoln sees some female students a year above him and this makes him nervous and he stays close to Delilah, and she notices this and so she holds him close and even holds his hand.

Then by the front of the school next to the door they see this girl who is the same age as Delilah, with light brown hair tied into a small ponytail, white short-sleeved shirt, black skirt and pink leggings, and brown boots with laces and she is busy on her phone.

Lincoln is afraid of encountering this girl or any other girl who is a year older or more than him, and so Delilah makes sure he avoids seeing her and they make it into the school. Delilah then looks towards her cousin. "You think you can handle this Lincoln?"

Lincoln is about to say something, but then he hears someone call his name. "Lincoln." The duo spot Jordan Rosato, and she goes over and she hugs the boy and Lincoln returns the embrace. "I didn't think you would make it, also don't worry about everyone else in the school."

This confuses them and then Delilah asks. "Why?"

Jordan smiles. "I spoke with Principal Ramirez, and the word has gone out to not overwhelm you or get crowded by everyone. So, technically you won't have to worry about folks who are older coming to talk to you, everything is gonna be fine."

Lincoln smiles hearing this. "Thanks Jordan, thank you." He shares a small kiss with her, and this makes Jordan see that he is trying to recover and he might be ready to become his old self once more, the Lincoln Loud whom they know and love.

Then Lincoln sees his friends and he smiles. "Hey everyone."

They all come over but they don't crowd him and they all walk alongside Lincoln to their class, and this makes Delilah sigh in relief. 'I should get going to my class, looks like Lincoln Loud has some friends who can watch his back, well mostly his girlfriend.'

(Later in the Day.)

They're class is over, and then Ms. Salter looks to her students. "Alright, be sure to study for this week's quiz, oh and Mr. Loud..."

Lincoln stops and he asks. "Y-Yes?"

Ms. Salter then smiles. "It's good to have you back in class again, we've all been worried and we're here for you. All of us."

Lincoln nods. "Thank y-you..." He then grabs his things and he immediately gets out of there, this causes Jordan and Clyde to follow, and the others are concerned, and Ms. Salter can see that what he went through has made Lincoln have a slight fear of possibly... Older girls, and she needs to speak to the principal about this.

(Lunch Time.)

We now see Lincoln sitting next to Jordan and Delilah, and the duo are making sure he is comfortable and that no one talks to him and yet Delilah can hear other students talking and whispering about what Lincoln had to endure, and that they feel sorry for him and wanna comfort him.

But Darrel, Allison and Laurence are doing their part and keeping the other students away from Lincoln Loud, but mostly Delilah since she is a master when it comes to karate.

Lincoln feels nervous about everyone around him, and he continues to eat his lunch. He is grateful that the food he is eating is not the one from the lunch lady, and he is eating what Luna made for him. Delilah on the other hand is kinda confused.

'What the heck is wrong with Chef Pat? Ever since Linc and I were part of the Middle School, she for some reason treated us badly and kept giving either of us some bad food, well mostly Lincoln and not much for me. Something doesn't feel quite right here.'

But then someone, well a teenage girl at the same age as Delilah is walking by them with her tray of spaghetti and meatballs. She is the same girl from earlier at the door from the school when they arrived and she is just walking by Lincoln, Jordan and Delilah, but then she steps on a banana peel and she slips.

The girl then drops her food and it lands onto Lincoln, and she accidently grabs the boy and they both fall to the ground, and she notices that she is on top of the boy known as Lincoln Loud. "Oh god! I am so sorry, I just..."

Delilah then yells. "Vee, what the heck?!"

Violaine Claire "Vee" Briat.
She is the same age as Delilah, and is in the chess club, the tech club and the drama club of the Middle School. She is half-French half-America. She is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, black skirt, pink legging, her light brown hair tied into a small ponytail by a pink scrunchie and brown boots with black laces.

Vee then slowly gets up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." They then hear sobbing and they see Lincoln losing his cool and everyone sees what is going on, and then Lincoln slowly sits up and he backs away and looks to the girl with fear in his eyes. "No... I didn't mean to, I was just..."

Delilah and Jordan then go over and comfort him, but it is too late and Lincoln has the traumatized expression again and he screams and begins to cry, and this alarms everyone and even Principal Ramirez who walks inside and sees what has gone down.

She looks around and sees Lincoln panicking and being comforted by Jordan and Delilah, and then she sees Vee panicking and being comforted by her friends, and Vee tries to go towards Lincoln to apologize, but then she's being confronted by Darrel, Allison and Laurence and Principal Ramirez knows that this is where it turns from bad to worse.

She knows that Luna Loud will be told about this, and it's only a matter of time before she comes into the school at full charge angry and protective mode. 'I need to inform Luna, it is the right thing after all.'

(Royal Woods High School.)

Right now, Luna Loud along with Sam Sharp, Sully and Mazzy are eating lunch, and then Luna sees Leni walk by with her friends and she waves to them and they wave back and then Luna sees Luan talking and joking alongside her friends, and then Luna thinks about this.

'Lincoln avoided Leni and the others, but would he avoid Lucy of Lisa, or perhaps Lana or Lola? I need to try this, and see if he wants to try and speak with them or hang out with them. Also, Luan and Leni are family and same with Lori. He wouldn't turn them down, would he?'

Sam notices this and she asks. "Everything alright over there, babe?"

Luna sighs. "Truth be told dudes, I don't even know. I want my son to be back to his usual self, but it is becoming hard to make that come through. I mean, what he went through was a bad and horrible moment, and I just... Lincoln needs to recover, and it's a complicated thing."

Sully then speaks. "Maybe you can have him beat up Taylor." He then sees the stern and pissed off looks from Luna and Sam and he feels small from this. "Joking, sorry... I should remain silent." He then eats his food in silence, and Mazzy crosses her arms and is baffled by what her boyfriend had just said.

Sam then looks towards Luna. "Calm down, Lunes. Look, there will be moments when Lincoln is gonna lose himself and this road to recovery is a hard thing for him to handle, but surely he will be the Lincoln Loud we know and love again."

"Give him some time, and I know he will be Lincoln Loud once more. You just need to..." They then hear Luna's phone ringtone and she checks the text message and then they see the scared and concerned look from Luna, and this concerns Sam and she asks. "Lincoln? Luna, go to him now!"

Luna then grabs her things and she races out of the cafeteria and Principal Rivers and Oliver notices this and they know that something has happened at the Royal Woods Middle School towards Lincoln Loud, then Jackie and Mandee see the posted video of what happened. "Oh-M-Gosh."

Everyone sees the video and so does Sam, and she knows that this is bad. Not just bad for Lincoln, but also to the girl whom fell on top of him.

A/N: Lincoln is back in school and it went from super-bad, to incredibly worse, and it looks like Luna is coming in hot! I did some changes compared to the original concept and I hope this was fine, and if some of you do not know who this OC is, well she is a background character in the Loud House, from the episode "Mall of Duty."
