Hi guys Azza here!

So sorry for this being so late, it was actually meant to be done at least two weeks ago but I unfortunately finally got the prestigious honour of catching Covid so I've been bedridden for a good while.

I'm still really sick, but I've been managing and even though I usually have rule not to write anything when I'm sick I still really wanted to so I hope you all are happy with what I managed to get done.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep this one brief so on with the chapter!

I do not own Fairy Tail, One Piece or the Nasuverse.

A Minor Victory Amidst A Greater War

/Execution Plaza/

Everyone on the platform could only gape as the Assassin tried and failed to yank their blade free from Rider's midsection, his iron grip unyielding as he slowly exhaled and arched his neck to face his attacker.

"Ah, so it was you," Rider huffed before swiftly moving to elbow the Assassin in their mask clad face.

Assassin easily avoided the attack and released their blade, jumping backward as a surge of Magic flooded outward. Rider turned to fully face his attacker as he ripped the blade free before looking at in in an almost disinterested manner.

"Such a primitive and outdated tactic by a primitive and outdated order," Rider sniffed as he lazily tossed the blade toward Assassin who caught it expertly. "There is a reason why you and your band of fanatics were slain to the last, reasons such as this."

"Do not claim to be above judgement when you serve an organization such as the World Government," Assassin hissed back in a rather effeminate tone which hinted strongly at her gender being female. "The Great Founder has seen your deeds and decreed that your head be presented before him!"

"A shame he'll never get it," Rider replied coolly as the sound of chains clanking drew his attention back toward Luffy and Ace. "Do not lose heart you two, this mess will take but a moment to clear up."

"Just who the hell is this guy," Luffy muttered more to himself than to Ace as he found himself shrinking at the intimidating gaze of the Servant before him. "Just standing here … its like I can FEEL his power wanting to kill me!?"

Rider simply smirked in response before looking back at Assassin who had entered a defensive stance. In response, he held out his right hand as an elegant officer's sword materialized in his right hand whilst he simultaneously drew his sidearm again.

"I must say, I'm glad to see we'll be able to take out another of the Hassan-i-Sabbah," Rider continued as he lazily spun his gun on his index finger before suddenly pointing it at his foe with the safety coming off at an audible click. "Not only that, but Hassan Of The Shining Star, one of the more active Hassan spotted in our world."

One Of The Hassan-i-Sabbah

Former Legendary Assassin Closest To The Mantle

Hassan Of The Shining Star (Assassin)

Bounty – 755,000,000 Berries

Neither Servant moved so much as an inch, both eyeing the other and waiting for the slightest hint of aggression. Luffy was still frozen next to Ace, the pressure he'd felt only increasing around him as his Brother grit his teeth.

"Damn it Luffy," Ace hissed quietly as the Straw Hat Captain turned his attention toward his still bound Brother. "You really are an idiot! Why the hell would you do all of this, what purpose does throwing your life away like this serve!?"

"The hell are you talking about Ace," Luffy hissed back as both Servants tensed. "Of course I'd come to save you, you're the only Brother I've got left!"

"You idiot … I can't believe this, throwing your life away over me," Ace sighed with a shake of his head. "What a waste-!"

"It's not a waste," Luffy snapped back as he grabbed onto Ace's head and forced the man to meet his steely gaze. "You're my Brother Ace! Without you … Without you, my life would be nothing!"

Ace could only gape at Luffy's words, words clearly straight from the young man's heart as a cheeky grin spread out across his face.

"Luffy …?"

"Besides," Luffy chuckled as his eyes briefly flashed toward Shining Hassan. "I don't think you should give up getting free just yet!"

"Huh," was all Ace could get out as Hassan Of The Shining Star made her move. The second her body flickered, Rider had already fired off two shots however her speed was simply far too great and she'd vanished.

"This is your one chance Straw Hat Luffy," Shining Hassan said quickly as she appeared behind Luffy and dropped something into his hand. "Make it count."

Shining Hassan vanished again and reappeared right in front of Rider who already leapt out of the way of a second stab attack from the Assassin, leaping right off the scaffold as Hassan placed a hand over the gems seemingly fused with her stomach.

"How fascinating," Rider grinned as he fell back into the ruins of the destroyed Marine Headquarters behind the Execution Platform.

"Do not underestimate me," Shining Star snarled as her body became coated in a bright light. "By the Great Founder's will I shall take thy head!"

Hassan vanished again as Rider fired two more shots only to jump out of the way as she manifested with before him mid strike. Unlike the previous two times she had done this trick, the blade Hassan used was now tripled in length thanks to a powerful coating of lightning.

Landing gracefully, she adjusted her stance as Rider openly laughed at her. Not rising to his bait, she dashed toward him as more of the gems on her stomach began to glow and more power surged forth.

"Yes, this is exactly what I expected from you," Rider grinned as he fired another three shots before holding out his hand and summoning an officer's sabre and meeting Shining Star's attack head on.

Back on the platform, Luffy shook himself out of his momentary shock and looked over to the Fleet Admiral who appeared to likewise be momentarily distracted by Rider and Assassin's battle.

Quickly turning back to Ace, he hastily started looking over the chains until he found the lock and brought his free hand out from behind him to reveal that he was holding the key to the Sea Stone Cuffs.

"WHAT," Ace gasped in disbelief which drew Sengoku's attention back to the pair. "H-how!?"

"I had a hunch that Servant came here with the key," Luffy replied with a wide grin. "Don't ask me how, I just did!"

"Observational Haki," Sengoku cut in, freezing both Ace and Luffy in place as the pair looked over toward the Fleet Admiral whose eyes were currently obscured by the glare in his glasses. "No doubt your fledgling Observational Haki informed you of Assassin's play. A rather admirable play, but ultimately futile."

Both Luffy and Ace paled as Sengoku's entire body gained a golden outline to it, a powerful crushing force slamming into the pair as the Fleet Admiral began to power up.

Sengoku removed his hat and tossed it aside as massive golden rings started to flow out of the man. The rings were like waves that grew larger the further out they went and with each ring, more and more power was released as all eyes in Marineford snapped to the Execution Platform.

"I will give Whitebeard, Eden and your allies credit where it is due, you've fought an admirable war up until this point," Sengoku's voice boomed as it gradually deepened. "But I will not allow Justice to lose to the likes of Pirates and Rebels!"

Everyone watched on in shock as Sengoku's entire form turned gold before rapidly beginning to expand in size. The Fleet Admiral slapped his palms together which sped up the size growth whilst jumping off of the platform to now tower over the battlefield.

"No way," Luffy gasped as Sengoku finished increasing in size. "What the hell is that!?"

"BY MY AUTHORITY AS FLEET ADMIRAL, I'LL EXECUTE BOTH OF YOU TROUBLESOME BROTHERS TOGETHER," Sengoku's voice boomed as he cocked back his right palm, a bubble of strange power forming around his entire hand.

"Shit," Luffy gasped as he started to fumble quickly with the cuffs. "We've gotta get the hell out of here!"

"NEITHER OF YOU WILL BE GOING ANYWHERE STRAW HAT," Sengoku roared as he started to bring his fist down to attack only for something completely unexpected to happen.

Right as Sengoku moved to attack, Luffy quickly moved into action as Ace quickly moved to try and turn the key Luffy had just managed to get into the lock. Spinning around to face the furious Fleet Admiral, Luffy bit his thumb.

"Gear Third: Gum Gum – Balloon!"

Almost immediately, Luffy's body puffed up drastically into the shape of a massive ball. Sengoku grit his teeth as he made contact, not having used Haki behind his attack it slammed into Luffy's gut region as a shockwave rocked the Straw Hat Captain's body.

Luffy coughed up blood as Sengoku continued to push his attack. However, he didn't need to fear enduring the wrath of the Fleet Admiral for long as the entire Execution Platform buckled under the weight of Sengoku's mass and attack as well as Luffy's ball-like form.

"Darn that rubbery brat," Sengoku growled as he reverted back to his regular form. "All hands, open fire immediately!"

The response was almost instantaneous as thousands of World Government troops opened fire with whatever they had on the area Luffy and Ace were supposed to be. Countless explosions quickly coated the area the pair had been falling, obscuring their fate in black smoke just as Sengoku landed nearby.

"Did we get them," one Soldier cried out after his gun ran out of ammo and he ceased firing into the black smoke.

"Surely they're dead," a Marine next to him replied as the rest of the weapons fire ceased. "No way they'd survive that, especially after Straw Hat just took a direct punch from the Fleet Admiral!"

The sound of something making a loud clang rang out across the eerily silent battlefield as both sides waited with baited breath to know the outcome of Luffy's gamble.

"Honestly, you've always been like this," a voice chuckled as four crimson orbs of flame appeared on the edge of the smoke field. "What the hell am I gonna do with you, my foolish little Brother!?"

From the four orbs of flame, the insignia of the Whitebeard Pirates flashed momentarily before a massive horizontal pillar of fire erupted out of the smoke to reveal a now freed Ace holding onto Luffy.

"Ace," Luffy grinned in response as they both shot out of the smoke and landed on the ground before the shocked forces of the World Government. "I did it!"

"Yeah," Ace replied with a grin of his own as he turned back to face his Brother. "And nearly gave me a damn heart attack in the process!"

The shock of the World Government forces was quickly quashed by the heartened roars from the Allied side as they all celebrated Luffy's successful move to free Ace. This however was only short lived as Caesar sliced through their elation like a knife.

"Do not be so foolish as to declare victory just yet, an army still remains between us and the Brothers," Caesar's voice rang out across the battlefield. "All of you, fight and create a path so that we may depart this battlefield as true victors!"

With another roar, the Allied Forces resume a now much more aggressive advance in an attempt to open up a hole for Luffy and Ace to reach them. As they advance, the various battles between the various Warlords, Servants, Division Commanders, Admirals and even Natsu himself all continue to intensify.

All according to plan.

/The Sacred Holyland Of Mariejois – Room Of Authority/

As the battle of Marineford raged, the Five Elders watched the entire thing unfold live from their meeting room. None had spoken a word since Vortigern Pendragon had been killed yet the bungling of Ace's execution had all of them glancing to each other worriedly.

"We cannot fault Sengoku, Rider or Archer for this," one of the Elders finally spoke as the footage shifted to Sengoku's clearly frustrated glare being directed toward Fire Fist Ace and Straw Hat Luffy. "Who could have predicted such an outcome?"

"Rider did," another of the Elders chimed in as the footage shifted to the General who was clearly overpowering Assassin despite the Class disadvantage. "He warned us of what we would be likely facing in this war and he was right on the money!"

"The presence of Whitebeard and his allies alone was already a force that required the majority of our armed forces and yet he managed to convince the Servant State to provide him aid," another of the Elders frowned. "The King Of Conquerors, Alexander The Great. The King Of Knights, Artoria Pendragon. The King Of Flame, Leonidas I of Sparta. Just these three Kings alone are like having another of the Four Emperors on the battlefield, any one of them alone could have headed Whitebeard's Allied Forces in Whitebeard's stead!"

"But fortunately, we had Tiberius Squad," the fourth Elder cut in neutrally. "So far, they've all performed exactly as Tiberius said they would. I cannot say I'm surprised to see that Caster going rogue though …"

"Indeed, that is most unfortunate. Natsu Dragneel is a severe problem who only grows in severity the longer he continues to fight. Then there is his Servant, Mordred Pendragon and what Caster did! It was a miscalculation to allow her onto the battlefield when her Uncle Vortigern was also there!"

"Come now, I thought you guys just agreed that my judgement was sound and Tiberius Squad was performing admirably," a cheeky voice cut in as all the Elders looked over at the door to see Tiberius leaning against it looking no worse for wear. "And here I thought we were 'friends' you guys!?"

"Be silent," one of the Elders hissed as he banged the butt of his sheathed greatsword against the marble floor. "Do not waltz in here and presume that we are anything other than mutual partners in a shared goal!"

"Ouch, such a harsh reception I'm getting," Tiberius smirked as his eyes flashed Aqua Blue for a brief moment. "Still, I didn't come to talk to a bunch of underlings like you. Is he in?"

Now THAT statement had all of the Elders attention as they simultaneously vanished and reappeared around Tiberius with attacks poised to obliterate him in moments.

"Cute."

"Do not presume to joke with us," one of the Elders snarled as an Aqua Blue Aura coated blade was poised to slice his head off. "This is not YOUR home turf!"

"You would do well to remember that, Demon God Pillar," the Fifth and shortest member of the Elders muttered as he tapped his cane on the ground once only for said ground to begin crumbling away. "You are a fool if you think messing around will get you anywhere, yet it is not our decision on your Fate."

And just like that, the Five Elders vanished and reappeared back in their original positions as if they'd never moved. Tiberius' smirk only grew as he began to be swallowed up into the ground, waving comically which only drew sneers from the Five Elders.

"Such a loathsome wretch!"

"Even a wretch has its uses," the shortest of the Elders muttered as he tapped his cane with his fingers contemplatively. "Consider that he is the Seventy Third Demon God, created after the Mage King Solomon's death."

"You're right. There is clearly a purpose for him that Solomon has laid out, business which is none of our concern."

"Even though he barges into our world?"

"True, he was initially uninvited," another of the Elders muttered as he adjusted his glasses. "But as you know, he was to be afforded a pardon for his meddling in exchange for an alliance."

"I still do not agree with that either-!"

"It does not matter what we think, we were born to serve and serve we shall," another Elder snapped, clearly just as miffed with the whole situation. "At the end of the day, all that matters is the end goal …"

All Five Elders looked back toward the floor that was slowly reverting back to normal before looking back at the live footage from Marineford as they pondered the uncertain future ahead.

/Execution Plaza/

"Man, there's just no end to these guys," Luffy snapped as he mowed down another wave of World Government troops with his signature Gum Gum Gatling. "We're barely making any progress!"

"You know, that's kind of the idea."

"Ah crap," Luffy gasped as Admiral Aokiji rose from the cracks in the ground before them, his body quickly forming from several jutting shards of ice.

"Aokiji," Ace muttered darkly as the Admiral extended his right hand outward and fired off a massive ice attack. "Ice Ice – Pheasant Beak!"

"You think that's gonna be enough," Ace snapped in response as his right arm burst into flames before the threw a punch. "Fire Fire – Fire Fist!"

The two powerful attacks smashed into each other and, much to the surprise of many, Aokiji's ice held fast against Ace's flames. The two attacks pushed back and forth several times before setting off a massive explosion that shook the area.

Within the smoke cloud, Ace and Luffy make another break for it with Aokiji watching on with merely a raised eyebrow in response.

"This is unbelievable," Sengoku muttered darkly as he watched Ace and Luffy get closer and closer to their allies. "How could we have let things get this far, let some rookie Pirate and a ragtag band of scum get the best of us!? This is nothing short of a disgrace to the World Government's name …"

"Fufufu. I wouldn't go that far, Mr Fleet Admiral," Doflamingo chuckled as he landed on some nearby rubble before lazily draping himself over a collapsed wall. "Oi, I know what we should do!"

"By all means, do enlighten me as to what stellar plan you've concocted, Doflamingo," Sengoku sighed as he lifted his glasses slightly and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Since you asked so kindly," Doflamingo smirked as he looked back toward Ace and Luffy's rapidly retreating forms. "How about we let them go, spice up the New World!? Shake up the incoming era even more, EH!? FUFUHAHAHAHA!"

Before Sengoku even had the time to retort, a sizeable explosion went off behind the Allied Forces as a lone paddle ship forced its way onto land and seemingly started charging its way through the Execution Plaza.

As the ship forced its way through, Whitebeard steeled himself. Having fended off General Esdeath, who appeared to find another target rather quickly amidst the chaotic battlefield, he was now simply observing events as they came.

Looking back toward the paddle ship, he noticed that at the helm it was none other than Squard and his entire crew. The old man sighed and shook his head, knowing full well what was about to come and yet … he smiled.

The paddle ship continued to smash through the battlefield unimpeded as Squard's voice boomed out across the battlefield.

"EVERYONE! FALL BACK AND ALLOW US TO STALL THE WORLD GOVERNMENT," Squard roared as the Pirates on the ship with him all raised their weapons high and roared in agreement with their Captain. "ALLOW ME TO SET THINGS RIGHT! ALL OF YOU-!"

Everyone on the ship lurched forward as the ship came to an abrupt stop, the back lifting slightly before crashing back down audibly. All eyes were confused as to why the ship had stopped until one Marine pointed to a figure in the middle of the dust cloud.

"LOOK!"

Standing there, a single palm pressed up against the forward side of the ship, was Whitebeard. It was obvious by his posture that he didn't even try when halting the massive frigate class ship, further testament to his raw strength.

"O-OLD MAN," Squard gasped as Whitebeard let out an audible sigh before looking up at Squard and his crew's shocked expressions.

"Oh Squard, you foolish Son of mine. What am I gonna do with you, eh?"

"B-but Pops," Squard stuttered out as he met the old man's gaze. "Why? Why are you trying to stop me from making up for what I did!?"

"Make up for what," Whitebeard asked innocently as many a jaw hit the floor. "You mean this? Heh, this is nothing."

Squard's gaze moved from the stab wound he'd given Whitebeard and back to the old man's eyes as he grit his teeth in frustration.

"What the hell do you mean that it's nothing!?"

"Squard, do you really think that this matters to someone like me," Whitebeard asked as everyone blinked, clearly confused. "Before we even came here, I was strapped to medical shit all day every day to help with an illness. I'm also not getting any younger, I'm coming to the end of my lifespan."

"Pops …"

"That being said," Whitebeard continued as his face morphed into one of steely resolve. "All of you, listen up and listen well!"

Many within the Allied Forces knew full well what Whitebeard was going to say before he'd even said it. Artoria and Iskandar especially knew, both having been in similar positions in their own lives.

The demand by Whitebeard even reached the ears of Leonidas who, up until this very moment, had been fighting Ruler with a ferocity not unlike that of a Berserker. Both Servants ceased their vicious battle and turned to look over toward the old man who smashed the end of his naginata into the ground, shaking the entirety of Marineford as he did.

"This is gonna be my last order to you all as Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates," Whitebeard's voice boomed as what little fighting had continued also ceased, leaving the battlefield deathly quiet.

"Pops, NO-!"

"ENOUGH! The time for us all to part ways has come now that we've achieved all that we needed to here!"

"Old man," Marco cried out from nearby as Whitebeard set his still stern gaze onto the man.

"Marco. My last order as your Captain is for every last one of you to retreat from this place, make it back to the New World at any cost!"

Suddenly, he ripped his naginata free from the ground and started dextrously spinning it behind him as the entire area began to shake violently just from the pressure upon its bladed edge.

"I'm just a relic from a bygone era, but there's still one last thing I can do," Whitebeard roared as he suddenly, slashed the air in front of him.

It was as if he'd sliced the fabric of the space before him as a massive glass-like tear split a good five metres of vertical space before shattering to produce the most violent earthquake in the battle yet.

As thousands were knocked off their feet," Whitebeard's eyes searched the crowd and found Natsu's form. Where most had stopped fighting briefly, he'd almost immediately continued fighting Akainu again as the pair smashed against one another with a ruthlessness that almost had him reminiscing of the old times.

'Just one last thing I need to do before I end this,' Whitebeard thought as he sized up what lay between himself and Dragneel as the weight within one of his pockets reminded him of one last promise. 'Honestly Roger … I'd better get some gratitude out of you after all this.'

Entering an offensive stance, most visibly cringed as Whitebeard charged toward them with what appeared to be determined resolve. They knew this absolute monster wasn't going to stop until he saw whatever it was he wanted to accomplish through.

And they had no choice but to stand in his way.

/Natsu's POV/

"Have to admit, that old man sure is something," Ahnk hummed thoughtfully as the trio fought back against Akainu.

"He plans to sacrifice himself to buy time for the rest of the Allied Forces to escape, hold off such a sizeable force alone," Aava added quietly as they felt Natsu take another magma fist to the face. "Dad, I think we should pull back from Akainu for now and aid in the evacuation."

"And let this bastard run rampant across the battlefield? Aava, the World Government hasn't even deployed all its Generals yet," Natsu sighed as he motioned to the last of the three Generals that still had yet to even fight. "Even if Whitebeard plans to sacrifice himself, he can't take everything here alone!"

Ducking under one of Akainu's magma fists, he pressed his palm against the ground and kicked Akainu as hard as he could in the chin, launching the Admiral high into the air before vanishing and reappearing above him to deliver a brutal kick the back of his head.

Akainu grunted as he was smashed face first into the shattered earth, his body immediately exploding into a giant magma pool that tried to envelop Natsu who vanished and appeared a considerable distance away.

Wincing as he felt another spike of pain wrack through his insides, he spat out a glob of blood before wiping his mouth and gritting his teeth.

"We're not faring much better either Natsu. Your body needs rest, it's been blasted apart thousands of times and you've barely rested in weeks. Your mental state is just as poor, if not worse," Ahnk huffed as they watched Akainu glare at them before directing his attention elsewhere. "Well … I can at least be thankful for small miracles."

"OI! NATSUUUU!"

His head snapped to the voice faster than he probably should have allowed it to, the stab of pain in his head making him visibly cringe as both Luffy and Ace reached his position. Both teens were clearly tired, Luffy basically running on fumes and Ace still bearing old wounds from whatever he'd endured prior to all this.

"Good to see you two made it," Natsu said with a tired smile. "Nice to finally meet you by the way Ace, Luffy never shuts up about you."

"I've gotta say, and don't take offense to this, but Luffy picks some of the most fucked up friends."

"Heh. I could say the same about you and them," Natsu chuckled softly in response as he motioned toward the Whitebeard Pirates and Whitebeard himself. "This is a pretty fucked up world though so I'd argue that having a few monsters around isn't all that bad, eh?"

Luffy's eyes darted between Ace and Natsu, sensing the rather awkward tension in the air only for it to suddenly dissipate as the pair grinned at one another and firmly clasped each other's right arms in what Luffy could only describe as an advanced handshake of sorts.

"You're a crazy bastard Natsu, but you're right," Ace laughed as the pair released each other. "This world is pretty fucked up!"

"That's crazy old bastard to you," Natsu grinned in response as he eyed Ace once again. "But enough about that, we've gotta get you guys out of here-!"

His body moved before he'd even realized it, his battle-hardened senses immediately sensing the shift as he pushed both Ace and Luffy out of the way as a massive hole was blasted through his body.

Blood splattered across Ace and Luffy as Natsu grunted in pain, blood seeping through the cracks of his grit teeth as a figure shimmered into existence in front of him. Both Ace and Luffy quickly realized what had happened upon realizing that Natsu had moved forward to push them out of the way.

One of them was the intended recipient of that attack.

"NATSU," Luffy roared as he leapt to his feet. "OI, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"

"Hmph. I see that even the presence concealment of an Assassin is no match for your senses," the Assassin sighed as he sharply ripped his entire arm out of Natsu to once again reveal the arm sized gaping hole through his chest. "A minor miscalculation on my part, I must admit."

Assassin gracefully leapt over Luffy and Ace, landing softly behind them before flicking his arm once to shake off the blood now dripping down his arm.

"Damn you," Luffy snarled through grit teeth as he spun around and prepared to attack only for Natsu's sharp voice to freeze him in place.

"STOP!"

"B-but-!"

"You can't fight that one," Natsu muttered as he staggered forward, the hole in him oozing blood that quickly began to pool at their feet. "This one is strong …"

"I'm honoured to receive such praise from the King Of Balance, truly," Assassin said with a slight nod as he slid his right leg back, entering a stance that had Nastu immediately on edge.

"So that's how it's gonna be," Natsu hissed as he clenched his left fist, a loud squelching sound echoing around them as he forcibly closed his wound. "Ace, Luffy, I want you both to get moving."

"B-but if all three of us-!"

"There's something off about this Servant, I'm honestly questioning if he's even an Assassin," Natsu snapped in reply which only made the Servant smile in response.

"Even at such a young age, your mind was this sharp," the Servant responded as he started to tense. "I'm curious to see just what you're like at death's door, how far you'll go before snapping and succumbing to madness."

"He might be a prick, but don't slip up for even a moment Natsu," Ahnk muttered in what Natsu was surprised to hear was a mixture of shock and fear. "That stance of his, I've only fought one wielding it before and it is frighteningly powerful."

"So, it's a true martial art then?"

"Oh yes, an ancient martial art originating from a country in many realities called China," Ahnk replied as he gazed at the Servant's perfected form warily. "The man I fought was named Li Shuwen, and the style he wielded was called Bajiquan. Though this is not Li Shuwen, this Servant's stance is almost identical to his with the exception of his footing."

Natsu took on board what Ahnk said, trusting the Elder Hybrid's word as it hadn't steered him wrong so far.

This did present a problem though. He was weak from all the battles he'd fought up until this point and this Servant appeared fully rested and was clearly something other than the Assassin Class he'd so easily lauded himself as earlier up at Grand Avenger's side.

Just how was he going to deal with this situation?

Both men tensed as Luffy and Ace finally decided to book it, neither allowing even the slightest blink to obscure the sight of the other. Frozen in place, fighting raged all around them and even as smoke clouded their positions, they refused to budge.

Ahnk's warning made perfect sense now, he could see it in the eyes of the man before him, this man was a professional slayer of higher beings. How high, he didn't have a clue, but he wasn't taking any chances.

An explosion going off right in the centre of their standoff was the signal as both combatants vanished and appeared at its heart.

Both had leapt off the ground at the edge of the explosion and were spinning around to strike the other with a fly kick. Their legs clashed, a shockwave instantly rattling the bone in his leg yet he could tell the Servant had also felt it as the smoke was blasted away.

Servant Bound To Grand Avenger

A Hollow Being Seeking Purpose

Executor Of The Holy Church

A Weapon Of Mankind

Kirei Kotomine (Alter Ego)

Both men pushed off the other and landed on the ground, immediately shooting toward one another as Natsu threw a punch. Kirei seemingly predicted this and spun around whilst performing an upward strike with his right elbow to knock Natsu's attack out of the way before using his left fist to deliver a brutal strike to Natsu's chest.

A visible shockwave blasted through his body and out his back as Natsu was sent skidding backward however, Kirei wasn't done yet as he practically flashed forward and delivered another brutal strike to the exact same spot on his chest, this time with his right fist that had been primed to deliver the brutal blow.

Natsu was shocked as he was sent flying across the battlefield, flying by countless allies and enemies until he smashed into a pile of rubble.

The second his back felt the rubble however, he was already prepared to get back up. The exact moment his full back touched the rubble, he slammed his head down and blasted himself upward to perform a flip.

Right as he did this, Kirei appeared and struck the exact spot he would have impacted with such precise speed that it would have been the moment his body had bounced off of the rubble.

This was all the confirmation Natsu needed that Ahnk's warning was correct.

This one was serious trouble.

Servant Biography:

Very little is known regarding Hassan Of The Shining Star aside from her being one of the Hassan-i-Sabbah.

One of the nineteen individuals credited with founding the modern concept of what Assassin is, Shining Star is credited as being exceptionally devoted to the Great Founder and his ideals.

All Hassan possess unique skills, vastly differing between each other and focusing on a unique or obscure branch of Magecraft that can be utilized in honing their Assassination techniques.

Shining Star in particular utilizes a forbidden form of Jewel Magecraft known as Geas Jewel Infusion. A practice that is broken down into three stages.

Firstly, a Jewel of the highest quality is taken an infused with as much Magic as it can possibly hold. This is not forbidden and is a common practice among Jewel Magecraft users.

Second, once enough Jewels are gathered and filled with enough Magecraft, a ritual is performed to graft the jewels into the intended recipient. This is done by connecting the jewels up to the Magical Circuits of a Magus which in turn allows them to freely utilize the extra space within the jewels and the vast reserves they hold.

This is an extremely dangerous practice that can have catastrophic results, the death of the one under the ritual being but a minor consequence.

Thirdly, a Geas is imposed in order to further strengthen the power within to far greater heights. The restriction imposed by the Geas in turn amplifies the power of the one receiving it to unfathomable levels.

In the case of Shining Star, she received this ritual in her late teens.

Her title of Shining Star is derived from her Geas Jewel Infusion. Possessing no less than ten individual jewels infused into her stomach region, Shining Star's name was chosen due to her Shining like a star in the night, guiding her followers down the Great Founder's path.

It is said that Shining Star is one of only two Hassan that holds favour with the Great Founder, King Hassan, due to her unwavering loyalty and devotion to the mantle of Hassan-i-Sabbah.

Noble Phantasms:

Zabaniya – Starlight Actuation – A (Anti Unit – Self/Anti Country - Misuse)

A Noble Phantasm that draws upon the full power of Hassan Of The Shining Star's Geas Jewel Infusion.

The Geas' demand for power relies on Shining Star wielding the power for the sole purpose of Assassination.

Upon meeting the requirement, the full array of jewels light up as one, shining like a bright golden star and granting Hassan Of The Shining Star a momentary buff that puts every one of her Servant Parameters at EX Rank.

It is said that in this form, her power comes the closest to the Great Founder himself, her blade being unavoidable, her body undeterred, her speed unparalleled.

For a brief moment, Hassan Of The Shining Star is Hashashin itself.

However, if the Geas is activated for any other reason, Hassan Of The Shining Star's entire Spirit Origin will violently fragment. Her own Magic Circuits will rebel against her and she will explode with enough force to destroy a small country.

It is truly the greatest gift of an Assassin, but a curse should the attack somehow fail.

The gaze of the Great Founder watches with great interest. It is unknown exactly what would happen should the requirements of this skill be met in full, yet some say that looking upon one bearing this skill is like looking into the eyes of death itself …

Personal Skills:

Comforting Jewel – EX

A skill that grants an immediate recovery to 'Health' and 'Mana' and provides the 'Guts' skill for five minutes, allowing one to survive even a potential death blow.

Devotion To Death – A

Grants all strikes a ten percent chance to instantly kill a foe and provides drastic 'Mental Debuff' on the opponent as well.

Shining Star – A+

A skill that afflicts a foe with a 'Taunt' status, forcing them to focus all attention on them, lowers 'Attack' and has a small chance to 'Paralyze' a foe for two minutes.

Well, hope you all enjoyed that Servant Profile. I've had Shining Star's done since she was first introduced ages ago and I've been waiting to put it down for ages!

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one!
