The World's Strongest Man
/Chaldea Command Room/
"Unbelievable," Romani muttered as the reading from Whitebeard started coming through. "To think that he was holding back that much power yet he was still able to fend off formidable Servants that would obliterate any normal human …"
"Well, they do call him 'The World's Strongest Man' Romani, so its hardly a surprise he's been holding back," Da Vinci chimed in as she brought up several different charts. "This Aura easily eclipses the readings we took from the Elemental Nations, from both Natsu AND Kurama. Again, hardly surprising given his power."
"Kurama had the power to life wipe a planet if he unleashed it in full," Natsu said from his position in the Director's seat. "Whitebeard on the other hand can destroy the planet itself if he were to unleash it. The Quake Quake Fruit has the power to tear a planet apart through seismic activity so great, the continents would crumble, the seas would quiver, the skies themselves divide and the core of the planet itself collapse from the sheer strain."
"Could Whitebeard do that now, as he is," Romani asked curiously as Natsu leant forward, linking his fingers together as his eyes locked onto Whitebeard who stood behind Akainu.
"A child that has zero training with the fruit could do it without even trying, without even needing Aura to enhance it," came the slow response as many in the Command Room froze to comprehend what he'd just said.
All eyes slowly turned back toward the screen and Whitebeard, the man now appearing downright terrifying. Considering what they'd seen during the previous Singularities, that was certainly a feat.
"I want the lens focused on Whitebeard down to the nanosecond," Natsu barked, startling many in the room who quickly scrambled to carry out the request. "This is an uncertain moment, a point that everything could change in an instant. One slip up and a new timeline could be forged that has Whitebeard destroy the planet in his rage."
"S-so what do we do if we detect something leading to such an event," one of the Command Staff asked shakily as Natsu leant back in the chair.
"The necessary steps to put a stop to such an event have been put in place already thanks to my Clairvoyance having foreseen this event," Natsu replied calmly. "The timeline has already altered from my own drastically, but it is not outside of repairable parameters."
"As long as you believe you have a way of halting something like that then that's all I need to know," Romani chuckled weakly. "Just try and give us a heads up if it is gonna go down though, ok?"
"Of course."
/Execution Plaza – Same Time/
As Akainu turned to face Whitebeard, the man's eyes slowly opened to reveal that they had shifted Blood Red, a colossal surge of Devil's Aura exploding forth as Akainu's own eyes widened in shock.
Whitebeard finally looked down at Akainu, his visage shifting into one of pure hatred as he started to cock his fist back in preparation for a punch. Akainu couldn't even move, his Haki being the only way he could even track the movement of Whitebeard's right arm.
What everyone who could still track Whitebeard's movements saw next was nothing short of shocking, yet also chilling.
As he activated his Quake Quake Fruit power around his fist, the usual white coloured bubble that would manifest was now Blood Red, identical to the glow in the enraged Emperor's eyes.
Everyone watched on as Whitebeard threw his Quake punch toward Akainu, jaws dropping as the entire top half of Akainu's body became two-dimensional the moment the Blood Red bubble made contact with his face.
Akainu's body folded inward as Whitebeard smashed his top half into the ground, the entire place instantly beginning to shake so violently that no one could see anything that was happening.
It was as if the very fabric of their reality was being struck by an earthquake, the space where Akainu's face currently resided was simply being further forced down into the earth surrounded by Blood Red cracks in the air.
Akainu meanwhile had grit his teeth, blood spewing forth from between their two-dimensional cracks as he was smashed by one of the most powerful earthquakes ever recorded upon their world.
And the single punch wasn't just localized around Marineford either. The entire planet had felt that one, the globe shuddering in space as many weaker islands simply crumbled away, the seas rising up across the world in protest and countless Sky Islands being wiped away or blown far from their origin point.
All from one, single, punch.
The attack finally ended and Whitebeard withdrew his fist which allowed the somehow still alive yet shellshocked Akainu to shakily rise to his knees.
His eyes widened as his Haki screeched for him to move and so he did whilst looking directly above his position. Bearing down upon him was Whitebeard, having leapt high into the air and coating his boot with a Blood Red version of his Quake Quake ability.
Leaping out of the way at the last possible moment, Whitebeard struck his former position instead which shook the planet to an even more violent degree. Barely anyone could tell what was happening as Akainu rolled onto his knees and coated his right arm in Magma, firing off several attacks as several of the World Government's strongest spurred into action.
Akainu fired Magma fists at Whitebeard who simply raised his right arm in order to block them, the attacks burning his skin yet the man refused to halt his terrifying advance. Seeing that Whitebeard was now relentless in his pursuit, Saber Of The East and Cu Alter both shot past the Admiral and moved to strike at the Emperor.
Whitebeard simply grabbed onto Saber Of The East's bumper sword as he tried to slash at him, hurling him away as Cu Alter tried stabbing him with several of his spiked lances to no avail. The aged Emperor simply clenched his right fist and punched the air with a Blood Red Aura strike that had Cu Alter skidding away at an alarming pace.
Akainu snarled as Whitebeard continued to advance toward him, now breaking out into a full-on sprint which forced the Admiral to meet him head on. Coating both arms in Magma, he charged the Emperor and started throwing dozens of powerful punches that shook the area yet every last one was blocked with but one of Whitebeard's massive forearms before the Admiral was slapped aside like trash.
Akainu gasped as his face ate dirt, his body skidding away as Whitebeard coated his naginata in the same Blood Red bubble and again charged at Akainu. The Admiral had flipped back onto his feet and now appeared pissed off as he cocked back his right arm and fired off a volley of massive magma fists.
Whitebeard sliced through three of them with ease, the entire area shaking violently with each swing, as he advanced on the Admiral. To the shock of everyone though, after slicing through the fourth one, a fifth struck the right side of Whitebeard's face, blowing it clean off.
The elderly man's right eye and ear were just gone with part of his brain now exposed as blood poured out of his exposed head.
Yet despite this wound, Whitebeard somehow refused to relent and actually fought as if he hadn't just had part of his head blown off. Keen eyed observers noticed that he'd actually coated the exposed part of his brain with Aura, though it was a temporary solution at best considering the circumstances.
Akainu could only gape as Whitebeard reached him, having assumed such a blow would have killed him. Swinging his naginata downward, Akainu dodged it but was still struck full force by the Quake at its edge due to his proximity and was blasted onto his back.
Whitebeard slowly trudged toward Akainu, panting, yet also clearly fuming as he raised his right fist again to strike Akainu. The Admiral seemed genuinely frozen in fear, though his eyes flashed as Whitebeard's senses picked up movement behind him a fraction of a second too late.
"Elder Devil's Aura: Noble Phantasm Release – Curruid Coinchenn!"
From behind Whitebeard, Cu Alter had appeared as a skeletal armor formed around his entire body. Surrounding Cu's arms were six massive spiked lances that all glowed Blood Red due to the Aura surrounding them.
Cu Alter vanished and appeared right behind Whitebeard who, after having sensed Cu Alter's approach, had turned to confront him directly, stabbed all six lances directly into the man's chest, pushing the Emperor back away from Akainu.
"Not so up yourself now, are you," Cu Alter smirked as he smirked at the shocked Emperor. "Each of these is laced with a deadly curse, they are the very bones my mentor Scathach used to forge Gae Bolg … you're finished!"
Whitebeard grit his teeth as the tips of all six lances exploded out of his back right as hundreds of thorns shot out of his torso, making him look like a demonic cactus.
Everyone in Marineford was frozen in shock at seeing Whitebeard in such a state. There wasn't any conceivable way the man was surviving his entire body being riddled with curses and his body shredded by razor sharp thorns.
So, when Whitebeard suddenly grabbed Cu Alter's face, even the strongest combatants present could only gape.
Whitebeard didn't even speak, the Blood Red bubble surrounding both his hand and Cu Alter's head as the Emperor let loose a mighty roar and smashed the Berserker Class Servant head first into the ground, striking it with the most powerful attack in the war to date.
Within seconds, Cu Alter exploded into golden particles, his entire body being utterly obliterated in a matter of seconds despite his armor, the shockwaves blasting him apart as the Emperor rose back to his full height.
Turning back around, he was about to deal with Akainu when suddenly the Admiral struck him in the chest with an attack identical to the one he'd used earlier when Whitebeard was trying to defeat Archer.
Whitebeard's eyes widened as he felt his body be filled with molten lava a second time. His knees buckled and he dropped to his knees almost instantly, the catastrophic damage to his body taking its toll on the already mortally wounded, elderly and ill man.
Ripping his fist out of the second hole in Whitebeard's chest, fire streamed out as the panting Admiral looked down at the kneeling Emperor with the same glare he'd given Ace earlier.
"This is the end for you, Whitebeard," Akainu panted as he wiped the blood from his eyes. "You should resign with what little dignity you have left!"
Whitebeard however heard none of Akainu's words, his head bowed as he felt all the damage throughout his body. His vision was clouded, a black haze slowly creeping in as he felt his grip on his Aura loosen.
Back over on the Allied side, the Whitebeard Pirates were desperately crying out for their Captain, begging him to rise once again like they had seen him do time and time again. The forces of Eden had also joined in, their respect for the legend having only grown stronger after seeing just how far he would go for one of his own.
Whitebeard's Servant, Caster, was currently being pushed back by Aokiji, his connection to his Master waning which was a grim sign of what was ultimately coming. The Servant however refused to back down and continued to fight with all he had.
Natsu was silent as he gazed over at Whitebeard. He wanted to help, his entire being demanded he try and help the man and yet he had no strength left to do so. Looking to Artoria, he could see her grip on Excalibur was tight, her face not once betraying her true emotions.
His ears twitched however as he heard a certain voice break through those calling out Whitebeard's name. Looking off to his right he saw Marco, who had been sent flying across the battlefield earlier, not even twenty metres away.
Looking back down to his hands and examining the dried blood upon them before looking back over at Whitebeard again, he couldn't help but recall the time he'd spoken to Whitebeard and the comparisons he himself drew between the Emperor and Makarov.
Clenching his hands into fists, Natsu sighed determinedly and looked back over toward Marco. There was only one way this was going to end, but he'd be damned if he sat on the sidelines without doing all he could to help the old man out.
As everyone cried out for Whitebeard, the man finally started to hear them. However, they had distorted into one single voice … Ace's voice.
He could hear the young man calling his name in that usual cheeky fashion, and his mind slowly started to wander once again to a certain memory …
/Flashback/
"Looks like its gonna be another calm night," Whitebeard sighed as he leant back in his chair on the deck of the Moby Dick. "Three nights in a row … I'd bet anything we're due for a massive storm soon."
His eyes scanned the deck of his ship, wandering over his family as they went about their business. It brought a smile to his face as he watched them all getting along, working together to do things.
It was his family, his joy … his treasure.
He blinked as he saw Ace approach him, the usually rowdy and arrogant brat of a Son missing, replaced instead by a rather reserved and awkward one.
Interesting.
"Oi," Ace called out in a failed attempt to not appear awkward. "Can we talk for a sec old man?"
"You seem troubled," Whitebeard noted back which only seemed to bring a scowl to the young man's face. "What's wrong Ace?"
"I just wanna ask you something that's been on my mind since I joined up with you," Ace muttered, refusing to look Whitebeard in the face as he shuffled on the spot. "Why?"
"Hm? Why what?"
"Why d'you treat everyone here like they're your kids," Ace asked slowly, his eyes narrowed in what was clearly confusion. "I don't get why you care about all of us so much?"
"That's … a rather loaded question, Ace."
"You gonna answer it?"
Whitebeard could only smirk in response which seemed to annoy Ace further, the man leaning forward and ruffling the young man's hair affectionately only aggravated it even more so.
"OI-!"
"GURARARARARARA! Of course I'll answer your question Ace," Whitebeard laughed as he slowly got up from his seat. "Come with me for a minute."
Ace nodded slowly and followed the massive Captain as they ventured inside and toward Whitebeard's room. Motioning for Ace to enter, the young man shot him a questioning look with the elder responding with his trademark grin in kind.
"This better be good old man," Ace huffed as he trudged inside with Whitebeard entering shortly after. "Now why'd you bring me in here?"
"I wanna show you something," Whitebeard said as he walked over to a bookshelf and withdrew a rather large folder and walked over to his bed and sat down. "To answer your question, I've gotta give you a bit of context."
Ace simply raised an eyebrow as Whitebeard flipped through pages of whatever he had until suddenly stopping and flipping the book around to reveal it was a photo album.
"The hell is this?"
"This is me back when I was a snot nosed brat like you," Whitebeard grinned as he pointed to a tall, but not overly tall, man with long flowing blonde hair standing amidst a group of random Pirates.
"You had hair once?"
"Shut up brat, that isn't the point!"
"So what is?"
"This is the first crew I was a part of," Whitebeard replied as he pointed to the photo as a whole. "They were small time, pretty average Pirates honestly. None of them were worth more than fifty million, though that isn't saying much since I was a runt at the time."
"How old were you in this?"
"I was fifteen when this got taken," Whitebeard replied wistfully. "I was basically their Cabin Boy."
"Damn …"
"But the reason why I'm showing you this," Whitebeard continued, snapping Ace out of his momentary shock at the knowledge he'd just learnt. "Is because I didn't have any family growing up."
"Huh?"
"I'm an orphan, Ace," Whitebeard continued softly as the younger man's eyes widened considerably. "I became a Pirate because I had nothing else at the time. I wasn't allowed to go to school, I was refused jobs because of my background and there was no way an illiterate fool like me would ever get into the military."
"So, you became a Pirate because the world screwed you over?"
"Pretty much," was the immediate response as Ace pondered that for a moment. "When I was younger, I was full of anger at the world that seemed to do everything it could to spit on me. After this crew I joined another one which was made up of a lot of people who, like me, hated the world for one reason or another."
"Wait … so you used to be one of those Pirates you're always telling us not to become?"
"I was," Whitebeard nodded sadly in reply. "I wanted the world to suffer like I did when I was younger and I did terrible things, ignoring my better judgement which had kept me alive for so long until one day that crew got decimated. After that, I wandered for a bit and did some soul searching before realizing what it was I really wanted that made me hate the world."
"And what was that?"
Whitebeard smiled as he flicked through countless pages before stopping on one and flipping the book back around.
"A family."
Ace's eyes widened as he looked at the picture. It was a photo taken not long after he'd joined up and was made up of the whole main crew. He saw himself off to the side pouting as some of the others laughed at him. Whitebeard stood behind the group in the middle with a beaming grin on his face and it was then that something seemed to shift within the young man.
The longer he looked at the man, the more he realized that the grin Whitebeard has wasn't one of teasing, but one of paternal joy.
It was something Ace had never experienced either, so it was of little surprise that he failed to understand it. He could see now that Whitebeard was delighted to be where he was, to see what he was seeing and to stand alongside all of them who he called Sons and Daughters.
Looking back up to the old man, eyes of understanding met his own as Whitebeard placed a gentle hand upon Ace's shoulder. It was something only those who had once been orphaned could understand. A silent acknowledgement that it was alright Ace hadn't caught on.
"I met Marco first, as you know, and he tried to mug me. After handing him his ass, I realized he was alone where he was and so I asked him if he wanted to travel with me," Whitebeard said as he too looked at the faces of all those in the photo. "One by one, all you kids showed up and I took you all in. It wasn't something I ever planned for, but I certainly am grateful that Fate smiled on me anyway."
"Old man …"
"Ace. I don't care about who your parents are, where you've come from or what you once might have been," Whitebeard began as he placed both hands on Ace's shoulders and forced the younger man to look at him. "What matters to me is that when you joined my crew, you became my Son. It is my responsibility to be there for you from that day onward, even if it means we have to face your past together someday."
Ace could only gape at the words of Whitebeard, his entire body shaking as Whitebeard drew him in for a hug.
"You are my Son, Ace. You, along with all the others, are my precious treasure, and nothing else in all these seas matters aside from the precious memories we create together!"
"O-old man-!"
"You belong with us Ace," Whitebeard said firmly, the eyes of the younger man widening considerably. "You are our family, let us be yours as well Ace!"
Instead of receiving a verbal response, he felt Ace shiver as the man started to tear up. Whitebeard too also teared up, knowing full well about how difficult it must have been for the young man, especially with his Father being who he was.
And so, he held the young man there.
His Son.
Portgas D Ace.
/Present/
Whitebeard's eyes opened slightly, the black clouding his vision receding somewhat as his gaze shot through the fire streaming from his chest and toward the body of Ace.
Whitebeard clenched his fist.
To the shock of everyone, Whitebeard's hand suddenly shot out and grabbed Akainu by the collar. The Admiral gasped and grit his teeth as Whitebeard slowly rose back up to his full height, towering over Akainu who was barely up to his waist.
Then, Whitebeard lifted Akainu up off the ground slowly, raising him to about eye level as the defiant Admiral met the glowing Blood Red ones of the Emperor. After glaring at one another for a moment, Whitebeard suddenly threw Akainu high into the air and clenched his right fist, cocking his arm back as Blood Red Aura swirled into the bubble, the entire area beginning to shake violently.
Everyone knew this was it. This attack would be Whitebeard's strongest and it was going to be catastrophic in nature. Allied and World Government Forces alike sought cover as Akainu started to fall down toward Whitebeard's position.
As Akainu fell, his mind flashed back to Ace one last time as he grit his teeth and started to throw the punch.
"Elder Devil's Aura: Quake Quake – Tectonic Crash!"
Unlike the first time Whitebeard hit Akainu, his body didn't immediately fold into a two-dimensional state. This time, Whitebeard's fist directly met Akainu's chest, freezing the falling man in place as the shaking abruptly stopped.
Everyone waited with baited breath as a light shaking began that rapidly ramped up until the very planet itself from a spatial view began to shake. At the core of the attack, massive Blood Red cracks appeared all around Akainu and the air surrounding him as Whitebeard's punch tore him apart.
A single massive fissure split not just Marineford, but the sea apart. Those from Chaldea who were currently observing the planet were unable to even squeak as they watched this fissure perform a full ring around the entire planet before coming back and meeting up with where Akainu's body was still currently suspended.
And the moment it did, it struck the Admiral. HARD.
The man practically vomited blood as he fell to the ground, the ground tilted so far one way that he started to slide down toward the dark abyss created by the massive chasm. As he slid, Akainu grit his teeth and desperately tried to halt his advance, failing due to his wrecked body.
"Damn you," Akainu snarled as he finally started to fall into the chasm. "WHITEBEARD!"
The man himself simply rose back to his full height and glared at the rapidly fading form of the Admiral, satisfied that he had pummelled the man sufficiently.
As things started to settle down though, one glaring issue became apparent.
Whitebeard's attack had split Marineford in such a way so that now he was separated from the entire Allied Force. In truth, he had actually separated the island for this specific reason. To buy them time to escape.
"A truly marvellous attack," Grand Avenger muttered from his place next to the two of the three top Commanding Officers of the World Government. "To think that he still had that much fight in him after enduring his face being blown off and his body suffering as it did?"
"He is Whitebeard," Sengoku muttered darkly. "He is the World's Strongest Man."
Looking around, they could see that aside from Rider Of The Axis fighting against Shining Hassan, all combat had ceased and didn't seem to rile up again. Many of the Allied Forces had taken this opportunity to continue fleeing as per Whitebeard's last orders.
"That being said, we must ensure that we capitalize upon this," Sengoku continued as he raised his voice. "Forces of Justice, our chance to eradicate the enemy has come! Attack with all you can and KILL WHITEBEARD AND HIS ALLIES!"
At the words of the Fleet Admiral, many of the World Government troops looked between one another and nodded. It was clear now that there was little standing in their way aside from a few Servants and Whitebeard who happened to be on his last legs.
And so, they began to charge toward the chasm.
However, all of them halted as laughter rang out across Marineford. This laughter was generated from the one man they had thought finished.
Whitebeard.
"H-he's … laughing," one Marine stuttered as another gripped his gun tighter.
"Has he lost his mind!?"
"No," Saber Of The East replied bluntly as he came up behind them. "Though he has indeed suffered wounds that would certainly slay any common man, he is Whitebeard."
"He is the man who bears the title of the World's Strongest Man," Esdeath continued as she strode up to stand next to Saber Of The East. "After what he just did, he has no doubt proven his title to be worth every syllable."
"And though Whitebeard is wounded, he is far from out of this fight," another voice cackled as Archer Of The Rhine finally appeared on the battlefield, grinning sadistically as she gazed over toward their enemy. "Whitebeard is not a man you'll be able to fight, even upon death's door!"
"He is a walking apocalypse, a man with the ability to shatter a country at the snap of his fingers," Saber continued. "He is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, a man whose might holds back the military of an entire planet single handed."
"And that rage is currently focused directly at us," Esdeath finished as all eyes turned toward Whitebeard who stood tall before them despite all the battle damage he'd sustained. "Even with what remains of our forces, we could all still possibly lose if we grow arrogant here, do not allow foolishness to blind you to the truth that we have yet to truly win this war!"
"You all know how to make your speeches," Whitebeard panted as he gripped his naginata tightly at his side. "I almost died from boredom … Still, you'd best heed their warnings and come solely at me or else I'll sink Marineford to save my children!"
"Well, as grateful as all Pirates across the world would be if you did that, we can't let you do that JUST yet, Whitebeard! ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Everyone blinked in varying degrees of confusion at the voice that pierced through the confusion as many started searching around, trying to identify its source. Certain individuals on the ground however knew exactly who that was however with even Whitebeard's sole remaining eye wide in shock.
"OI," one Marine cried out as he pointed to the collapsed ruins of Marine HQ. "LOOK THERE!"
All eyes moved toward where the Marine was pointing as the shadow of a colossal being appeared through the smoke generated from the fires around the area. A massive giant, easily larger than Little Oars Junior, was crouched behind the collapsed building. Upon being spotted, he stood up with an overly exaggerated gasp.
"Oh dear, looks like they spotted me!"
"Hang on … LOOK AT THE FOOT OF THE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING," a Soldier shouted as all eyes shifted downward to spot several more figures who slowly came into view.
"Took them long enough to notice us …"
Sengoku grit his teeth as he laid eyes upon the group, knowing each and every last one of them by name as his gaze landed on the man at the front.
"How did you lot manage to get here," Sengoku snarled as Whitebeard took several steps forward, the malice that had once been generated toward Akainu now being shot directly at the newcomers.
"You bastard …"
"This isn't good," Hartmann said grimly as he eyed the group warily. "Each and every last one of these guys are heinous criminals whose very existence was erased due to their sheer brutality!"
This Pirate is considered the largest among all sentient living things. His height vastly outstripping even the likes of Oars The Continent Puller, to call him a mere Giant would be a disservice.
Hailing from the West Blue, this titanic creature boasts unfathomable power and over ninety years of experience. His power no doubt owed to his Paramecia Devil Fruit that has allowed him to obliterate islands with ease.

"Uh oh! Not only was I spotted, but they even know who I am," Wolf chuckled as all eyes moved to a man dressed in what appeared to be regal attire consisting of a long white and dark brown patterned fur coat and he seemed to share many cat-like similarities.
This Pirate was once the King of a certain country in the North Blue but found himself stripped of his power by the World Government due to his sheer ruthlessness and disregard for any other than himself. Even by the standards of the Celestial Dragons, this man was simply on another level of cruel.
After being removed from power, the man tore across the world committing countless atrocities and a death count likely being in the five-digit range. This man was beyond anything the world could deal with at the time.

All eyes moved to the next member of the group who was at least three times the height of a regular man. The man was, to say the least, ugly, and was also clearly drunk if the constant stream of alcohol entering his mouth had anything to say about it, which seemed to give him an all-around 'dopey' appearance.
At first glance, this man is a seemingly harmless drunk and perhaps even a stereotypical portrayal of a lazy Pirate. This however is merely a ruse, his goofiness being little more than a ruse to bely his sheer viciousness.
This man, if deprived of alcohol for even a moment, becomes an unstoppable beast of slaughter. Even by the standards of Impel Down Level Six, he was considered to be one of the most ruthless due to the lack of alcohol.
Though his past is relatively unknown now, it is said that he once brought down an Empire that enacted prohibition.

All eyes shifted to the next figure who was a tall woman that was certainly little to the eyes in terms of appearance. She looked more like a stereotypical evil witch with an ugly face and elongated nose, crooked teeth and overall gaunt appearance.
This woman is considered to be the most dangerous female Pirate in history before the rise of Charlotte Linlin. Her love of death and destruction tore a dangerous path across the world as she shook countless islands and kingdoms to their core before robbing them down to the last Berry.
Many consider her appearance to be a curse that disguises her true power, a punishment for the sheer level of death and chaos she once unleashed upon the world merely a decade ago.

All eyes slowly moved toward the last newcomer of the group, many not even able to believe what they were seeing as they eyed the man next to the ringleader.
Unlike the others, this man was the complete opposite of a Pirate. This man was in fact the former Warden of Impel Down, imprisoned for his sheer brutality against his prisoners and staff alike by Warden Magellan.
A man considered by many to be one of the greatest sword wielders in the world, he ruthlessly slices apart any who would interfere with his goals.

The former Warden, still wearing the garb of an Impel Down Warden, eyed the quivering forces in disgust. Most simply couldn't believe a man who slayed Pirates so viciously would end up becoming one in a crew like what they saw before them.
But that made them all fear the man at its head.
"Damn you," Sengoku snarled as he grit his teeth. "Damn you … BLACKBEARD PIRATES!"
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHA! Long time no see, Sengoku," Blackbeard grinned as he extended his arms outward to his crew. "Hope you don't mind that in addition to the friends you've already met, I brought some new ones, eh!?"
"Damn you … Teach," Whitebeard growled as Blackbeard turned his full attention over toward the mortally wounded Emperor.
"And a 'long time no see' to you too, old man," Blackbeard continued, his grin only growing wider at the sight of Whitebeard's condition. "So good to know that I'm gonna be present for your death, Pops!"
"You vile …"
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's exactly the look I was hoping for," Blackbeard grinned as he and the members of his crew, minus San Juan Wolf, made their way down onto the battlefield where they began to approach Whitebeard. "I've been waiting hours for this!"
"Just what do you think your doing here Teach," Sengoku snapped. "More importantly, how did you even get here!? Impel Down was reported to have been destroyed and last I heard you were down in Level Six when it happened!?"
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Patience Fleet Admiral, all will be revealed in good time," Blackbeard laughed cruelly as he turned back to face Whitebeard once again. "But before that, let me do my duty as a Warlord Of The Sea and put an end to the threat of Edward Newgate, FOREVER!"
Blackbeard roared with laughter, the rest of his crew quickly joining him as the mood across Marineford plummeted considerably. From the World Government to the Allied Forces, neither side knew how to react to this new proverbial spanner in the works that were the Blackbeard Pirates.
They could only pray for the worst to be avoided.
Well hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one!
