Family of Two.
Chapter 470: Michelle and Leslie.

(February 5. The Loud House.)

Saturday has come and we now see Leslie slowly waking up to the smell of something delicious, she slowly gets out of bed and then she sees her mother, Michelle Lewis right there and smiling. "Hey sweetie, good morning." She places a small kiss onto the forehead of Leslie and this makes her giggle.

"Good morning, mom. Wait, what's with breakfast in bed?" Leslie can see some pancakes and bacon and eggs right in front of her with some orange juice and on a table. She also sees some extra food, which looks like it is for her mother.

Michelle smiles. "Well, since we are gonna be spending the whole day together, I thought that perhaps you and I can spend it by first having some mother and daughter time breakfast. If that is chill with you first."

Leslie smiles hearing this. "This is fine and really nice of you." She then sits close to Michelle and the duo enjoy the breakfast that Michelle brought and Leslie is already loving this. "Wow mom, this food tastes amazing."

Michelle chuckles. "Truth be told, I made this. I did make some other food for the others to enjoy, and they were alright with you and me going on this mother and daughter time together, and I have so much planned for us both since you seem like the fun and yet calm kinda girl now."

Leslie smiles. "Thanks mom, and I can't wait for what today has for the both of us. I know it's all gonna be great and we're gonna have lots of fun." Hearing those words warms Michelle's heart, and she feels like adopting Leslie was the best thing she has ever made possible.

They don't know, that Delilah sees this from the doorway and she smiles. 'I already spend my time with Leslie the other day. This one is on you mom, have fun with Leslie.'

(Later.)

We now see Michelle coming out of her room and dressed in something formal for the day and she is glad she got the weekend off from working alongside the mayor, and now she can spend some time with her adopted daughter. Leslie.

Michelle's attire: White-blouse, red long-sleeve jacket, red skirt and black slip-on shoes. She is even wearing pink bracelets, golden-hooped earrings and her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Michelle then has an idea. 'Perhaps next week, I can spent a whole day with both Leslie and Delilah. A mother and daughters bonding time, that sounds awesome, or maybe when I have another day off.' She then sees her daughter Leslie come down the stairs, and she too is dressed for the day.

Leslie's attire: A yellow blouse with a light blue short-sleeved jacket, white and pink sneakers and socks, pink skirt and black leggings and she is wearing a head band.

"Ready for the day we have, mom." Leslie then goes over and hugs Michelle, and so Michelle returns the hug and then they feel another pair of arms and they belong to Delilah and they hug her as well. "Have fun being home, Delilah and playing the tournament alongside Lincoln."

Delilah chuckles. "Thanks sis, Lunes isn't gonna be here since she is busy and Linc is still getting prepped up." They then depart from the hug. "Stay safe guys and have fun."

"We will" replied Michele and Leslie, and the duo head out of the house and they hop into Michelle's red Ferrari and then they drive off.

Delilah sighs and feels happy to know her sister and mom are spending time together, and then she wonders to herself. 'Perhaps when the time comes, we can show Leslie the Lewis-Loud Mansion we have far from the town and somewhere at Royal Dawn. Surly she will be amazed and impressed.'

Then Lincoln appears next to her. "Delilah, the others are ready to face us in the game." He then hands her a game console. "You ready to rock n' roll Call of Duty Style?"

Delilah cracks her knuckles. "So ready, also this game is Apex Legends, but you have a point to the fact we might be pulling off some crazy Call of Duty stuff." The duo then begin their gaming tournament as they play off against others and team up with Jordan Rosato as she is playing at her house.

(The Burnt Bean.)

Welcome to the place where college students go to when they need to chill and calm down or grab something to snack and drink, and at the time we see Sully and Mazzy performing some dramatic them music to calm the mind.

Michelle is enjoying her warm and delicious coffee, while Leslie is enjoying her pastries and her hot chocolate. "Thanks for bringing me here mom, it feels so calm and quiet and it is the best place to read a book besides a library."

Michelle smiles. "Thanks, sweetie. I knew you'd like this place. After all, you seem to like to read books a lot, and it's a good thing."

Leslie nods. "Well, for some reason my mind wants me to read books and it feels right. I even read an entire science book and I think I wanna keep track of studying some stuff I have failed to notice. You think that I didn't do much to learn back then?"

Michelle sighs and then she tells her. "Leslie, back then you were mean, rude and wanted to be paid attention to. You never did do much to listen in classes, I got that info from some friends back when you resided back in Tuscola."

"You wouldn't learn anything, and you would let others do the work for you and just relax and do what you want. You were literally spoiled by those damned old farts who were once your grandparents. But I do believe they wanted to teach you to be the one to run the evil Silver business."

Leslie is surprised to hear this and she understand why she is like this with reading books. "Well, glad that my mind is clear and I can be able to catch up on everything I may have lost, and I promise that I won't be able to fail in education. I will need to cover up on so much and I don't know if I will have time to have some fun." She then asks. "Mom, I know that on Monday which is February 14 will have this Valentine's Day party, but is it alright that I don't go there?"

Michelle is surprised to hear this, but then Leslie explains. "Because, I don't know if there would be anyone out there who would dance with me, and also because I wanna try and study more to catch up on so much I have not paid attention to throughout the earlier stages of Middle School education."

Michelle is even more surprised, but then she nods. "Yeah, alright. Whatever works and the others will understand." She then holds her daughters hand. "It warms my heart to know that you wanna make things right and make up for lost time, we're all proud of you."

Leslie smiles. "Thanks mom, and I am glad I could say those words. I didn't think what would go down if I didn't say anything." She then continues to enjoy her food and so does Michelle.

Deep down, Michelle feels concerned that Leslie doesn't wanna have that much fun, and all she wants to do is keep track and keep up with some past educational loses she had when she should've started middle school, but she knows this is Leslie's idea and she ash to respect it.

Soon, they look to the stage and see Lucy and her friends, and all of them are performing some poems and other words in the name and cause of the Royal Woods Young Morticians and Poetry Club, alongside Maggie and some other Goths and emo teens.

Leslie is confused about one thing. "If Lucy was the sister of Lincoln, why is her hair black and why is she Goth? Is that a phase or something?" That is something Michelle could never be able to understand.

(Ketcham Park.)

The day is still young and calm, and we now see Michelle and Leslie walking in the Park and they look around and Leslie smells the air and is enjoying this time here, she can see some folks all going about with their day and having fun here.

Leslie even sees some folks she was told about. She can see Lisa, Darcy, Lana and Lola playing at the playground, and then she sees Luan and Benny performing some poetic jokes to some of the kids there, and then she asks. "Hey mom, you think we can visit the girl I used to annoy at a juvie back then?"

At first Michelle is confused, but then she knows who. "Oh, Lynn Junior. Well, I guess somewhere next week if we can, or perhaps after Valentine's Week, then we can see her. We'd have to bring this up towards Lincoln and Luna though and see what they think."

Leslie nods. "Okay mom, I just wanna make up for the bad times I did and show them that I am not the same Leslie anymore. Do they know about what happened to me now?"

Michelle sighs and she holds her daughters hand and guides her to a tree where they sit down and relax and then Michelle explains. "Lincoln did make a letter for Lynn, and he had it sent the other day. We don't know what will go down when Lynn hears about this."

"The juvie they are in doesn't get much into news about what is going on, and chances that letter is already there and being red by the former loud with the sports antics. But, if we do go there, then don't be nervous because we got your back, and who knows, perhaps Lynn and Annabelle will be in good terms with you."

Leslie nods and yet she still feels concerned. "Yeah I guess that does make sense, but I just don't wanna make some enemies after what the former Leslie did, I don't wanna be the one to be in trouble from what the old version of me did. I don't wanna make people hate me, it feels wrong."

Michelle then pulls her daughter close for a hug to comfort her. "Leslie calm down and relax. Everything will be fine, as long as the rest of us are around and here, we will have your back and we will have to stick close together as family and be there when the others need some support and comfort."

"So, just because we will be there for you, we are hoping that you would be there and have our backs as well. We all look out for each other, we're all family and we all wanna make sure that when trouble comes for us, then we all make sure we face it and take it down. We have each other's backs and support, alright sweetie?"

She can feel Leslie snuggle close. "I will mommy, I promise."

Hearing those words makes Michelle feel a warmth in her heart, she feels like a true mother hearing those words from Leslie and she looks down and sees the 12-year old slowly closing her eyes and she slowly sleeps in her mother's embrace.

Michelle smiles and she places a small and loving motherly kiss to her forehead and she rests her chin on Leslie's head and sighs and then she whispers. "Leslie, as long as I am the mother for you and Delilah, then I will do whatever I can to keep you both safe from harm, a promise I will not ever break.'

The mother and daughter continue this calm and comforting day, Michelle already feels like a mother again, with Leslie Lewis Loud now being part of this family life within Royal Woods Michigan.

To be continued...

A/N: A nice and calming time for Michelle and her daughter, Leslie. There will be more bonding time for them as time goes on, a damn shame that Leslie won't be a part of the big Valentine's Day Dance night in the Royal Woods Middle school.
