The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.
From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.
The Ruinverse: Chapter Six, Who is the Wickedest of Them All?

-Remnant, Solitas, Atlas, Schnee Manor-
Darkness, a silent darkness of twilight as the shattered moon illuminated the quiet bedroom from it's position in the Remnant sky, revealing shades of white, navy blue and the small emblems of snowflakes, the Schnee's crest of power, on the walls and floor.
Within the room, hanging from the right wall by a metal hook, was something considered a relic from a bygone era, from before Atlas became the dominant power over its sister Kingdom, Mantle.
The relic in question was a large circular white mirror with a mercury center and several gold carved eyes that lined the edges of said mirror that gleamed in the moonlight like a shining diamond.
This mirror, a luxury object to those in the aristocratic circles, loomed over the rest of the furniture and decor, seemingly giving off an air of pure dominance as it rested over the nightstand like a king.
SLAM!
Light filled the room as the door opened, revealing a figure that quickly stumbled in and threw a wine glass across the room, shattering it into a thousand pieces in the process as the figure shut the door behind them in the process.
Moonlight illuminated the figure, revealing a tall fair skinned woman with slate-blue eyes, long white hair that in a low ponytail going over her left shoulder and sporting a bun in the back, a E cup chest and wide ass, wearing a white cravat secured by a ruby encrusted silver brooch, a light purple jacket with light sleeves, a wide silver belt around her waist, a light purple pencil skirt, black tights and white slippers, in the process as she seemed...to be in a drunken state.
"Fuck him~!" she cursed while trying to stumble forwards without tripping. "Stupid man! Gélé, what the, hic, fuck is a Gélé!? Fuck him! Fuck him and his little Dust fucker!"
As she moved towards the nightstand, her hands grasping the sides to prevent her from falling onto the decor like a bull in a glass shop, her eyes looked upon the mirror's reflective surface, tears falling from her cheeks in the process.
"Hic, why...why just why!? I'm an heiress yet lo and behold, a fucker ruins it all! Three kids, all hate me for nothing! And Gélé, fucking Gélé is a worm!" she hiccuped while slamming her right fist on the table. "He ruins everything! He ruined everything!"
Looking upon the mirror, hoping for some form of comfort, placed a hand upon its mercury surface and frowned.
"Mirror on the wall...who's the fairest of them all?" she asked while turning away quickly. "Not me apparently."
(Many weeks later)
The mirror, alone again in the bedroom of the former heiress of the SDC, loomed on its perch, seemingly radiating an unnatural air of foreboding dread upon the room itself.
Silence...all was silence except for the faint hum of static...or perhaps a fly, it was too quiet to contemplate or pick up, if anyone was in the room that was.
Creak.
"I know Klein." said Willow while walking into her room. "His sudden disappearance is unfortunate, but he left me in charge until he returns."
"Still, this is very unusual, even for him. I suggest we look int-"
"That will be all." Willow interrupted before closing the doors in front of the butler, leaving her in complete darkness as she turned to the mirror and sighed. "Politics, business, ugh. I forgot how horrible that all is. Still, I will make sure to actually brush up on all the business etiquette from my youth."
As she looked at the mirror's surface, a faint smile appeared on her face as she moved closer and began to fix her hair a little.
"Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of all?" she asked while chuckling to herself. "Me perhaps...no. My daughters are fairer than me, especially the youngest. Never expected her to become a singing Huntress...unlike her sibling who became a part of the military to spite me."
Ping.
Willow blinked as she pulled out her Scroll, colored a dark navy blue and sporting the Schnee crest on the back, and began to read it, her face darkening in the process as the mirror seemed to glow a faint dull white color.
(Some weeks later)
Creak.
The door to the bedroom opened slowly as Willow walked in, seemingly tired due to her dark circles yet didn't feel the effects of fatigue or agitation, just a coldness akin to a harsh Soltias winter, her slippers hitting the tiled floor as she moved towards her only companion, the mirror.
"Mirror on the wall." she said while placing a picture of Winter, her eldest daughter, flat on the nightstand with her left hand. "Who is the fairest one of all?"
Silence...except for the faint hum of mosquitos, seemingly ringing all around the room.
"I see. Only Weiss is fairer than me." she said while frowning. "Spiteful, arrogant, hurtful...like her sister. But she will visit me later this month, perhaps she will favor me? Like her brother."
As she turned around to face the moon, she smirked a little and tapped her nails on the picture frame.
"Such fools, the entire board is a flock of vultures. And...mmmm, would Weiss conspire with them? She has her father's blood, and her business skills are developing." she muttered before turning her head back to the mirror, her smirk turning into one of bitterness. "Best confront her about this, once she returns from Vale that is, in one way or another."
(Some weeks later)
Creak.
The door to the bedroom opened once more as Willow, now letting her hair down and had dark circles around her eyes, walked over to the mirror and crossed her arms in a display of arrogance.
"Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" she asked as the sounds of low static were heard in the background. "Of course, myself obviously. There is none more fair in this world than me."
Creak.
"Lady Schnee." said a faunus butler, nervous for some reason, from outside the room. "The board called once again, they want you to...explain a few things."
She grumbled. "Explain what?"
The butler flitched. "U-Um...about why all the heirs just...disappeared. And why...Ironwood disappeared after...you visited him."
"...fine." she grumbled while gripping her right hand tightly. "Best make the worms placated with my words. Tell them I will arrive soon."
"Yes Lady Schnee."
(Some time later)
Clank.
Clank.
Clank.
The sounds of footsteps could be heard as the doors to the main master bedroom, covered from wall to wall with dark gold paint and black snowflake like emblems, opened up to reveal Willow Schnee, now sporting a black cravat, a gold jacket, a red belt over her long gold skirt that trailed to her feet, black tights and black heels, as her hair was now longer and styled on the sides to form a four pronged crown shaped bun, walking towards the nightstand with an arrogant smirk that gives off vibes of despair and debauchery.
"Another peasant ousted from the company." she muttered to no one while taking a seat on the nearby chair and crossed one leg over the other. "Ruling Atlas is harder than it looks, especially those fools in the counsel, but they will sing my tune soon."
The sounds of low hums began to ring across the room, growing louder and louder as Willow chuckled at the mirror.
"Oh don't do that." she said to her companion, the mercury surface seemingly glowing a dull white color in the process. "You are a fine reflective companion, no need to start a fuss."
As the hums started to become louder, the Schnee tapped her right index finger across the surface of the mirror and caused a snowflake shaped glyph to form in its center, although it's color was a black and gold hue instead of the normal white color.
"Mmm, the old question is a little stale. I already know I'm the most fair woman in Remnant." she chuckled while the low hums began to morph into screams of terror. "Oh I know."
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
"AHHHHHH!"
"LET US OUT!"
"MOTHER FREE US!"
"Mirror mirror, on the wall." Willow cackled while the mirror began to reflect the horrified and anguished figures of Ironwood, Whitley, Weiss, Winter and Jacques banging on the reverse side of the mirror, screaming for release as many more figures screamed behind them, looking almost like shadowy wraiths of crystal. "Who is the Wickedest of them all?"
