The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.
From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

-Remnant, Anima, Mistral, Haven Academy-
The moon loomed over the city of Mistral as the sounds of screams could be heard, although for some reason...there wasn't a Grimm in sight to cause the screams in the first place.
The camera zoomed down into the darkened alleyways of the city, revealing the dead bodies of numerous humans and faunus, men and women, Huntsmen and criminal, all cut up and sliced into tiny pieces, blood and organ dripping from the windows and walls where they were killed and seemly left there in a macabre display of power.
But as the camera moved towards Haven Academy, the courtyard covered in gore and blood from various people, the sounds of screams could be heard near the student dorms, all in a frenzy of terror unknown to the students that lay waiting for classes to return once more.
And within the office of one Leonardo Lionheart, he was petrified beyond belief at the sounds outside, clamping his ears with his hands as a Seer floated nearby, as if waiting for the right time to strike.
'This wasn't supposed to happen! None of this was supposed to happen!' he repeated in his head with terror as the Seer's orb began to glow and black smoke formed from its body.
"Lionheart." spoke the Queen of Grimm as her red hologram formed over the Seer's orb, looking rather confused about something unrelated to the faunus' current state of being. "Where are my servants? They were supposed to bring the Relic of Knowledge to my stronghold by the end of this night."
"T-That's….not going to happen, not now." he stuttered while Salem looked crossed.
"What are you talking about?"
Leonardo gulped as the screaming became louder outside, making Salem raise an eyebrow.
"What's going on?"
"I-"
"AHHH!"
BAM!
The sounds of gunfire could be heard as Leonardo paled and began to barricade the door to his office.
"Lionheart! What is going on!?"

BAM!
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha!" laughed a deranged cackle from outside as Salem blinked in confusion.
"Tyrian? Here? But's-"
"That's NOT the serial killer! It's someone worse!" The faunus interupted while quickly pushing another bookcase over the door. "And it killed everyone!"
"You must be exaggerating? How can anyone kill MY servants, especially Hazel?"
BAM!
"It did!" Leonardo yelled in panic. "I saw it happen! That...thing killed everyone! Even the Fall Maiden!"
"Cinder? Huh, must be a Maiden." she muttered while hearing the gunshots coming closer to the office.
"It's not a Maiden!"

"Hahahahahahahahahahah! Silver Eyed glory! Hahahahahahaha!" the figure cackled while the immortal noticed that it sounded feminine in nature.
'Mmmm, if it's not Cinder and it's not Tyrian….perhaps the Branwen? No, she's too scared of me to make a move this late in the game.' Salem muttered while watching Leonardo run around his office, barricading every single entrance way that might be unprotected. 'This might spell trouble.'

"AHHHHH!"
"Oh gods!" Leonardo cried out while grabbing his weapon and pointed it at the door. "Why did this happen to me!? It was supposed to end!"
The gunfire ceased as the faunus trembled in fear, the Seer floating closer to him and moving it's tentacles around his throat.

But as the Grimm did so, the door and barricades were sliced down the middle, falling to the ground instantly as flames were seen from the hallway, smoke entering the room and making the Headmaster panic even more.
"Hehehehe~ Found you~" cackled the 'thing' as it moved closer to the faunus, it's shadow growing in size from the flames and making it more intimidating.
"S-Stay back!"
"Calm down." Salem said while noticing a faint metallic glint heading towards the Seer. "It's just-"
SLASH!
The Seer's orb cracked as it dissipated into black smoke, a heavy thud occuring at the same time as a red metal object pinned itself to the floorboards.
"Hehehehe~ Alone at last."
Leonardo paled while falling on his ass and scurried backwards, hitting a nearby wall in the process as the figure pulled the object out with little effort.
"Oh little lion, why run away?" they asked while cackling, the flames entering the room and started to burn the faunus' precious library to cinders. "We are having so much fun~ Especially after sending those toys after me~"
"I-It was a joke! Please, leave me be!"
"No can do, besides, you hurt me, now I hurt you, ahahahahaha!" they cackled while Leonardo fired from his weapon and hit them right on the shoulder, but didn't flinch at all. "Was that supposed to hurt?"
Leonardo paled in terror as he saw the smoke blow away in the hot air currents, revealing the 'thing' that killed his students, his entire city in a single night.
The thing in question was a short fair skinned young girl with long near shoulder length black hair with deep red tips, silver eyes that seemed to be glazed over with a dull red hue, a D cup chest and small ass, wearing a stained bloody white long sleeved high-neck décolletage blouse with brown straps, brown studded wristbands on the arms, a black skirt with red tulle underneath, a black overbust corset with red strip holding it in place, a black belt bordered in red holding a magnetic clip and several strapped on bullets on the sides, a small brown backpack on her back, a long tattered red cloak with a single silver rose clip on the right shoulder, torn black thigh-high stockings that reached to below the hem of her skirt that had the image of a long-stemmed rose, red-soled black boots with four straps and buckles, and had a massive deep crimson scythe in her hands that was covered in blood as the occasional intestine hung from it's curved tips, as her face was plastered with a near demented grin.
This was Ruby Rose...and she was out for blood.
"Bye bye, lion~!" she cackled before raising her scythe up. "And say hello to Crescent Rose!"
"A-AHH-" he screamed as the blade rushed towards him, the screen becoming bloody red in the process.

(Later on)
-Mistral's Front Gates-
Blake looked upon the destruction and carnage as Sun, Illia, Ghira and Kali along with the entire mustered forces of Menagerie, were in disbelief at the destruction in front of them.
For not only were their human corpses but the remains of the Mistrali White Fang Sect, laid scattered and bloodied, their weapons shattered by blunt force trauma and their masks broken by bullet fire.
"What happened here?" Sun asked while feeling a little sick to his stomach.
"I...have no idea." Blake muttered while Ilia felt sick to her stomach, but tried to keep a straight face, despite her skin turning a deadly shade of gray and yellow. "But this isn't a Grimm attack."
Clank.
Blake's ears twitched as she heard someone moving in her direction, causing her to pull out her weapons and saw something horrifying.
Her team leader, coated in blood and holding her weapon in one hand, the head of Lionheart in the other, and bleeding from a blast wound to the right shoulder, her lips forming a twisted grin as her eyes started to glow silver.
"Oh Blake~" she cackled while throwing the head at the now shocked faunus. "Welcome to the party, I was just about bored of killing humans, hehehehehehehe!"
As the head landed right in front of Sun, he didn't see the blur of red petals flying towards him until it was too late, his upper torso falling to the ground as blood spurted from the now bloody lower half.
"AHAHAHAHAHA! FOR THE SILVER EYES!" Ruby laughed while her eyes began to be covered by silver light, her body becoming coated in the energy as she fired Dust bullets at the now panicking faunus.
"S-Sun!" screamed the former Beacon student in horror as Ilia tried to use her weapon to pull the scythe out of Ruby's hands.
"You bitch!" she spat while Ruby just smirked and used her semblance to appear right next to her, a beating heart right in her hands as the chameleon faunus gasped in pain and fell dead to the ground.
"Such a pretty heart."
SPLAT!
"Oops. Broke it." she chuckled while the remains of the heart fell to the ground, her eyes expelling the energy in the form of bolts of lighting that hit several faunus, turning them into glass upon contact. "Oh well, I have more hearts to take~ Hahaha-"
BAM!
Ruby blinked while seeing Kali firing a bullet at her shoulder blade, causing her confusion as Ghira tackled her and pushed her right through a wall.
"And stay down!" the former High Leader snarled while gripping his left hand against Ruby's neck, causing it to bleed.
She chuckled before using her semblance to appear right behind him and tried to slice his head off, only for Blake to fire a bullet right on Crescent Rose's scythe blade, breaking the attack in the process. "Eh?"
"Ruby! What are you doing!?" Blake yelled while turning her pistols into her standard blades.
"Having fun, duh." she smirked before seeing Kali fire another bullet at her, only to dodge and rush towards the faunus.
SLASH!
Cutting off her head in the process as Ghira saw red and charged towards the girl with the intent to kill.
"KALI!"
"I lost a mom." Ruby cackled while turning her scythe into its sniper rifle form and aimed the barrel right at Ghira's head.
BAM!
Killing him as Blake started to move back in fear, her eyes widened at the sight of her team leader killing in cold blood.
"And now everyone loses a mom! Ahahahaha!" Ruby cackled before seeing Blake attempting to run away, only for her trip on the remains of Adam Taurus's horns and making her drop her weapons. "Don't run away, I'm not done playing with you~"
"N-No! This isn't real!"
"It is Blake~" Ruby smiled before charging right towards the faunus, the screen turning black as the sounds of bones breaking could be heard in the background. "FOR THE SILVER EYES! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Bio: In this timeline, the battle between Tyrian and Team RNJR (plus Qrow) occurred like normal, and soon the group met up in Mistral and then faced Cinder's group in the Battle of Haven. But unlike the main timeline, Ruby was scraped by the stinger before she cut it off, causing a small amount of venom to seep into her body and begin to corrode her mind. This in turn caused her to slowly become insane from the toxins, causing her to see the world as Tyrian sees it but magnified to extreme levels that soon took over her rational mind, only fully taking her once Weiss 'dies' in front of her during the Battle of Haven. Soon she lost all her previous morals and attacks Cinder's group with the same style of fighting as the mass murder faunus, leading to a few deaths before they retreat but just as the hunters relax, she attacks them for the 'Glory of Silver Eyes' and effectively cuts her ties to them as a result. From this moment, she slaughtered all of Mistral with her semblance and scythe, her Silver Eyes becoming unusable from her crazed mindset as she begins her carnage across Remnant, thinking of only death and destruction. A single gentle soul...blackened by insanity.
