The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.

From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

The Ruinverse: Chapter Fourteen, I Burn, All Burn!

-Remnant, Grimmlands, Evermore Castle-

Within the desolate land of sludge and crystals, blanketed by a purple night sky, stood the imposing Evermore Castle, home of ancient gods, unholy monsters and, as of recently, an immortal mage of rage and hate.

Said being, looking out upon the wastelands from outside the obsidian clad gates, tapped her fingers against her hips, seemingly waiting impatiently for someone to arrive.

"Where is she?" She muttered out loud. "She should be here by now...although sending Manticores to escort her might have been a bad idea." 'Maybe a Griffon next time?'

"ROAR!"

"Ah, they must...wait." she muttered while squinting her eyes into the horizon, revealing a group of Manticores, four holding the remains of a destroyed red and black motorcycle, and the other one being attacked by something...blue in color. "What's that?"

As the blue object kept on attacking the Grimm, Salem noticed that they were all on fire, being melted from the inside out and...about to collide with the gates!

She stood up and felt the palace shaking as an explosion was felt.

Sissle.

Sissle.

She turned around as the Manticores began to turn into ash, the gates now completely destroyed as a figure rose out of the rubble.

This figure was a tall fair skinned young woman with long bright golden blonde that went down to her back with pale gold tips and a cowlick on the top of her head, lilac eyes with burning amber irises, a F cup chest and wide ass, wearing a deep-collared yellow vest, a low cut long sleeved black shirt, a dark gray shrug with a raised collar, gold cuffs with a long yellow stripe going upwards towards the shoulders, a long gray infinity scarf around her neck, two crooked black belts on both sides hips with a single torn red fabric tired to the back of her ass in a tight knot, thigh high tight black spandex compression shorts with gray lining on the sides, a gray bandanna tired around the left knee, black ankle boots with gray flame like emblems on the soles, and yellow rimmed aviator sunglasses on the top of her forehead, who's body seemed to glow an unnatural blue as she glared at Salem.

"What the fuck lady!? What is your deal with the fucking Manticores trashing my ride!?"

"Oh, was that your ride? I had no idea." Salem said while seeing the girls' arms burn bright blue and punched her in the stomach, melting her into a puddle of goo.

"Fuck you!" she growled as the puddle formatted itself and caused the girl to blink. "Wha-"

"Immortality. I am not like the others, Yang Xiao Long." Salem said as the now named Yang blinked and slowly calmed down, her face morphing into a near robotic like expression that perplexed the immortal. "Come, we have much to discuss, unless you want to stay with the beasts of this land?"

"Fine." Yang said with an apathetic tone. "But only because you told me about Ruby the last time we talked."

Salem nodded while the two entered the castle, the gates still on fire and melting the obsidian into a liquidized paste.

(Later)

-Throne Room-

"Now then, would you like something to drink?" Salem asked, currently sitting on her throne as Yang sat on a rather small chair next to her, a Seer Grimm floating towards them with a tray full of cold drinks. "Tea perhaps?"

"No." Yang said coldly and with no emotion. "I'm not in the mood for drinks."

She dismissed the Grimm while looking at the blonde. "I see. Now, you know about my proposition, right?"

"Yes, you told me via that orb headed Grimm when I was stuck in the deepest bowels of Atlas' prisons. Something about Ruby Rose."

Salem nodded. "It is your wish to meet her again, am I right?"

"She's dead. Eaten by one of your pets." Yang growled.

"An unfortunate mistake I assure you, my pets, as you call them, were sent to retrieve her from Patch, not...consume her."

"And look how that worked out." Yang said, her tone rising by a decibel. "I saw my sister devoured in her wagon by your Grimm."

Salem sighed. "You have every right to be angry, but your anger is unfocused, lacking."

The blonde narrowed her eyes.

"You blame me for letting my Grimm attack you in the forest, yet you fail to realize that I am blameless to the state of this world you call home." Salem said calmly. "I did not cause the Great War nor did I bring your family to ruin. It was my other half, Ozma, who lit that flame of war in an effort to kill me."

"Ozma? Who the fuck is Ozma?"

"Oh right, different time, different name. I believe your father, mother and uncle know him as Ozpin, head of Beacon." She said as Yang's eyes widened for a split second in shock. "He allowed his desire to kill me overridden his so-called mission to unite humanity. Instead of turning this world into a utopia, he allowed the Grimm, the personifications of negative emotions, to thrive in a world of prejudice, hate, crime, fear and suffering of his own machinations."

"How do I know you're not lying?"

"Yang Xiao Long, I have been on this planet before the first Kingdoms were properly created. Why would I lie?"

"Because people do lie, they lie about how everything is ok, or how you need to look towards the future." Yang said coldly. "A fat lot that does when you have lost two mothers and a sister in the span of a lifetime."

Salem nodded while having a faint sympathy for the girls' situation. "Unlike Ozpin, I have no intention of lying to potential allies, especially to one that suffered by his hands. And to think." she moved closer to Yang's left ear and whispered. "He had a relic that could bring her back, but didn't."

Yang's body started to glow blue as her eyes changed into an azure color and her hands, now covered in flames, melted the ends of her chair as her expression was now filled with pure hatred. "HE! WHAAAAAT!?"

Salem backed away as the flames nearly burned off her hair as she straightened herself out and smiled. "Yes, he had relics, four in total, that could bring about destruction, choice, knowledge and creation. If he really did care about this world, then he would have used them to make this world better, not hide them away. For that matter, if he did care about your sister or mother, why didn't he use the Relic of Creation to bring them back?"

Yang growled while her flames began to grow brighter and brighter with rage.

"If you still doubt me, I'd be more than happy to help you find them and see what they can do with your own eyes."

Yang growled before turning to Salem. "And what does this have to do with me!?"

"Simple, I can help you fix Ozma's mistakes." Salem smirked. "Fix the world-"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE!?" She snapped as her body glowed even brighter. "I WOULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT REMNANT!"

The immortal blinked while surprised that this girl would watch the world burn...like herself, but masked her true intentions behind a smile. "I see, but wouldn't you want your sister back? To return her to this world?"

Yang growled while the floor began to melt. "NO!"

"...what?" Salem asked while her brow started to sweat from the heat.

"I WILL NOT LET HER LIVE IN A WORLD LIKE THIS ONE! I WANT TO BURN IT TO THE GROUND!" Yang roared before her body started to lose its blue glow and her face became cold and detached once more. "I want to burn it all...before I bring her back. Give her a new world without Grimm, without the Kingdoms...without Ozpin."

'She certainly has the drive to make something that insane happen.' Salem thought before placing a hand on Yang's left shoulder. "Very well, that goal is acceptable. But you must offer me something in return for my assistance."

"What?"

"Your eternal servitude. Become my acolyte, and the power of the Creatures of Grimm will be at your command." She said with a smirk. "The truth of this world will be at your fingertips, power unobtainable will be yours, and the means to send this world into its final death throes will be yours. But only if you serve me and only me."

"It was YOUR GRIMM WHO TOOK RUBY!" Yang growled while flames appeared from her right hand.

"Yet you can mold them into a force of power. To destroy all those that allowed your sister to die." Salem said calmly as Yang let that sink in. "Think Yang Xiao Long, while I have the power to control the Grimm, who allowed the Grimm to exist instead of eradicating them? Ozma. Who allowed humanity and faunus to remain separate despite having the experience to quell their hate? Ozma. Who allowed your parents, fine huntsmen and huntresses, to be destroyed from the inside out? Ozpin. Who allowed for Summer Rose's death, despite having children? Ozpin. Who allowed Ruby to be unprotected by the outside world when your father, mother and uncle either drank themselves into the bowels of depression or just left for their own agendas? Ozpin. Who allowed this world to have Grimm?"

"...Ozpin." Yang said in a monotone voice as Salem smirked.

"Yes. Ozpin is the problem, and with my powers, my influence and my army, you can get rid of him and rid this planet of his corruptive ideals of 'heroes' and 'hope'. Now." she moved her left hand out as if to shake Yang's hand. "Will you accept my aid, or will you let Ozpin destroy another fragile soul?"

"...ok." Yang conceded while the flames on her hand began to die down. "But only to see this world burn. Nothing else."

And just like that, both shook the other's hand, a strange purple tattoo forming on Yang's right eye, in the shape of a single eye, in the process.

"Very well, from this day on, you will be my acolyte."

Yang nodded before realizing something. "Wait, you still destroyed my ride. I can't get around without it!"

"Relax, I can get you a better one." Salem said while Yang frowned.

"Yeah, you better." she said while the sounds of a motorcycle were heard in the hallway. "What is that?"

ZOOOOOM!

BAM!

The doors opened suddenly to the throne room as a large black motorcycle with white bone like plates on the steering wheel and sides, a draconic skull mask on top of the main wheel, several clawed bat-like wings on the red colored seat, deep red markings on the handles, and a long bone like tail appeared and drove towards Yang, parking itself near her feet as it billowed black flames from its sides.

"Your new motorcycle. I just allowed a few Geists, some Manticores, Warrior Lancers, ten Razorwings, a Tempest, and a Centinel to fuse with your former 'rides' remains." Salem said while Yang looked at it in awe. "I hope it is suitable for your needs."

"...it...will do." Yang muttered before touching the motorcycle's left side, feeling the thick black ooze hardened to the steel like glue, and began to take a seat on it.

"Now, go. I shall give you the details of your first assignment once you arrive."

"Arrive where?" she asked while the black ooze began to cover her, allowing a thick black bodysuit to form over her body as a pair of red shades formed over the Beowolf styled helmet.

"Mistral. Do not worry about the headmaster, he is weak." Salem said while Yang smirked behind her full body helmet and glowed bright purple, causing the engine to jumpstart as she rode out of the room and into the wastelands in the blink of an eye.

'Don't worry Ruby.' Yang thought while her shades glowed red, the screen fading into black in the process. 'I will make a world just for you. And no one will stop me!'
