The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.
From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

The deep blue waves of the sea crashed onto the cliffside with a near rhythmic pattern, the white sea foam forming in the currents as the sandy beaches gave way to the rocky yet life enriched tide pools that made Argus famous.

WOOSH!
SPLASH!
As the waves turned the tide pools into a soapy expanse of water and stones, two figures ran around, having fun despite the dangers of the fast moving waves around them, as they moved towards the nearby pier.
One of the figures, a short tan skinned young boy with short messy light blue hair, blue eyes, wearing a pair of blue swim trunks and blue flippers, smiled happily while the water around him seemed to hover over his skin like tiny moons.
"Come on Jupiter! Don't be a slow poke!"
The second figure, obscured by the shadows of the cliffside for whatever reason, panted while trying to run towards the blue haired boy. "Ah..ah...Neptune! Not so fast!"
SPLASH!
WOOSH!
SPLASH!
"Come on, I know you can catch me!"
"Neptune, careful! You might slip!"
"No, I won't! I'm a careful-"
SPLASH!
And cue a wave hitting the boy, only for the water to float around him like a snake for a few seconds before falling to the ground.
"Cough! Bla! Salty!" the boy gagged while tasting the salty water with his lips, the second figure moving towards him and placed him on their shoulders. "Wee!"
"Come on, I have a surprise for you."
"Oh, tell me! Please!"
"When we get there." they said while walking towards the pier, the wooden structure falling into disrepair due to the salt eating away at its' insides.
"Aw." he pouted while leaning his chin against the shadowed figure's head, the outline looking more and more like a male's body then the amalgamous blob of shadows from before but his features and body were still shrouded by darkness made from the cloudy sky above. "No fair."
"Life isn't fair, Neptune." the boy said while moving to the edge of the pier and let Neptune jump off his shoulders. "Ok. Just close your eyes and I'll give you the gift."
"Ok!" Neptune smiled while closing his eyes.
Grab!
Only to get picked up by the older boy by the waist and-
SPLASH!
Thrown off the pier into the sea.
"Sorry little brother, but today is the day you learn how to swim!" he called out while the waves splashed against the edge of the pier, the water hitting the wooden walkway as the older brother felt a little guilty of not telling him this beforehand.
SPLASH!
"..."
SPLASH!
"..."
SPLASH!
"...oh no." he muttered in realization as Neptune didn't rise to the surface, at all. "I just killed him….AHHHHHH!" 'Mom's going to kill me!'
WOOSH!
SPLASH!
However, in that moment, the waves rose up and Neptune landed on the pier, safe and sound….except for the fact that his face was covered in a bubble of seawater, obscuring his hearing and vision in the process.
"Glub glub!"
"Neptune!" Jupiter yelled while Neptune ran about in a panic, his arms moving from side to side as the bubble seemed to be attached to him like a conjoined twin.
"Glub glub glub!" he garbled out before moving his hands towards a random spot.
SPLASH!
Which allowed the bubble to let go of its prey and moved right towards the shadow clad boy, moving right on top of his face so quickly that he couldn't react fast enough to do anything else.
"Ah...ah...that was close." Neptune muttered in shock before seeing his brother's face, now covered in the salty bubble as he seemingly stopped moving, his body just standing there like a manikin. "Jupiter?"
Crash!
SPLASH!
And instantly, the body fell to the ground, face first as the water fell through the boardwalk's cracks, returning to the sea that spawned it as Neptune looked over the body, his shocked face slowly morphing into one of confusion, then of curiosity as he poked his older brother's face.
"Neptune." said a voice in the wind as the boy kept on studying the lifeless body of his brother, his mind wandering as the voice became louder. "Neptune. NEPTUNE!"
(Many years later)
-Sanus, Vale, Vytal, Amity Colosseum-
"NEPTUNE!"
"Huh? What?" stuttered out a tall tan skinned young man with short messy undercut light blue hair, blue eyes, wearing a white dress shirt, a red jacket adorned with a wide upturned black collar, a black tie, a silver reticle across the back, black fingerless gloves, gray jeans with black padding strapped to the sides and black strapped shoes, as he shook his head and blinked, noticing that he was currently in the arena itself and that his team leader, Sun Wukong, was slapping his face with his tail. "What?" 'Was that...a dream?'
"Neptune, focus! We have a battle to win." he frowned while Scarlet and Sage shook their heads in unison at their scatterbrained teammate, the opposing team, Team NDGO, tapping their feet or throwing their weapons into the air in boredom.
"Oh...right sorry." he said while feeling a little stupid at the moment in daydreaming during a major tournament, although he also felt a little...frustrated for some reason. 'Ugh...why can't this be a one on one match with someone else, I really don't want to battle today. I have other things to do.'
"Did you forget your weapon again?" Scarlet asked while Neptune raised an eyebrow.
"You know I don't use weapons."
"And I don't think that's a good idea. Especially against Vauco's huntresses." he said while the arena started to change shape and morph into a large sandy archipelago with a ship marooned on one of the nearby islands and...
Lots of water.
Neptune stiffened while his team battled against the opposing team, his eyes staring at the water as if it was calling to him. 'Water...so much...water….'
The crowd cheered as the two teams continued to fight, each one showing off their skills while also making the entire battle look like a scene from an action film. From flying to swinging, clones and throwing knives, the battle was extraordinary and fun for all involved.
But for Neptune, he didn't make a move, not to dodge, not to run away from a strike or blow, he just...stood there, looking at the water as its surface was broken occasionally by a footstep or a blast of energy, his eyes transfixed like a deer in headlights.
'So...pure. Clean water...' he thought before the sounds of battle moved closer to his direction, the water's surface beginning to form ripples that distorted his own face, giving him an almost Grimm-like right eye for a brief second. 'It feels naked almost...it needs something.'
WOOSH!
A blast of wind hit the sand behind him, sending Sage out of bounds as Neptune moved his left foot towards the water.
Splash.
WOOOOOOOOOOSH!

Causing a massive wave to form within the artificial sea itself, the wave twisting and turning like a cyclone as hundreds of water laced tentacles formed from its 'body', hook-like jaws forming at the ends as Neptune smirked.
"I need death!" he yelled out before the tentacles shot towards Octavia, Dew, Nebula and Gwen like hungry sea serpents, their mouths grabbing onto their heads and began forcing water into their lungs.
The four huntresses tried to scream as they dropped their weapons onto the sand, their eyes rolling back into their skulls as the struggling began to fade along with their lives, causing them to become stiff and lifeless in the process.
The crowd's cheers faded as the realization of what just happened hit them like a sledgehammer, Team SSSN stared in horror at the N of the team, who seemed to be grinning from ear to ear with delight.
"Oh yes...that felt good." Neptune smirked before turning to Sun and sighed. "Sorry you had to see that, but hey, now you know why I don't use weapons. That counts right?"
"Neptune...you...what have...you!" he yelled while Neptune noticed several guards entering the arena and chuckled slightly.
"Well I love to chat, but I still have the urge and I need a bigger playground to strength my legs out a little." he smirked before waving his left hand upwards and caused the water cyclone to wrap around his legs and flung him out of the arena.
"Is he crazy!?" yelled Scarlet while looking horrified that he was friends with a killer, especially one that drowned people. "There's no way he's going to survive!"
"..." Sage paled before Sun took notice and cocked his head to the side.
"Sage?"
"...I just recalled that the Amity Colosseum is floating over a coastal city."
"Yeah?"
"And we are right over the water."
"...oh no." Sun uttered in horror.
RUMBLE!

The coliseum shook from side to side as the audience screamed in terror, the floors beginning to flood with seawater as the domed ceiling began to crack from the large amount of water pushing against its surface.
The camera quickly panned away as it revealed a frightening sight to behold.
For looming right over the floating stadium was a gigantic humanoid like creature with five clawed arms tipped with bleached coral, black glass-like eyes made from the broken remains of automobiles, thick metallic armor plating and the remains of broken airships lost at sea, several thick spines made of wooden masts lining the back, ten hundred long octopus tentacles lining the back and lower torso with massive undiscovered Grimm swimming around its body like goldfish, hundreds of Sea Feilongs trapped within the tips of the tentacles and held in place by several tons of fishing nets, thick whale bones jutting from its jaw like viper teeth, two massive fin-like protrusions on its shoulder blades protected by granite and plastic materials ranging from bottles to the occasional fast food toy, and had a single three pointed tendril of hardened steel and Water Dust wrapped around its left arm like an armband, which seemed to be growing in size every second while the inside of the monster was hollow except for a very familiar hunter hovering within its chest by a protective water bubble.
The construct seemingly grinned with delight as its tentacles rose up and began to widen and become flat as steel boards, stretching over a vast amount of distance before quickly grabbing the flying colosseum and 'threw' it into the sea, the waves formed from the collision growing bigger and bigger until it was twice the size of a normal tsunami.
SPLASH!
WOOOOOOOSH!
And made contact with the island of Vytal, submerging it in a blink of an eye as the waves formed several whirlpools that made short work of any survivors to the initial tsunamis collision.
The construct grinned, revealing the tiny Grimm-like fish swimming around its 'gums' before turning in the direction of Vale and began moving towards the capital, its mission clear as day as the screen went black.

Bio: In this timeline, when Neptune was a young child, he was thrown off a pier by his older brother Jupiter as in canon and survived by using his semblance to remove a ball of water onto his brother's face. However, unlike canon, Jupiter wasn't able to activate his semblance on time to disperse the water and drowned from the water entering his lungs at a fast rate. From this moment onwards, Neptune would gain a fixation of the drowned expressions of others, which allowed him to utilize his semblance in more creative ways than his canon self as a way to experience the same rush of excitement and joy as his first kill. Earning the name Kelpie after a Grimm native to the swampy lands of Anima, he would go undetected as a serial killer, hunting down people and drowning them with his semblance, as he attended Haven Academy as a student, never telling his team about his fixation or past in fear of being arrested. However, when the Vytal Festival occured and Team SSSN and Team NDGO fought each other, the fixation took over his rational side and he used his powers to suffocate the opposing team with his semblance before escaping the authorities by encompassing himself in the sea itself, creating a massive water construct that sunk the island of Vytal and the entire Sanus continent in a single day. Now a wanted criminal, he used his semblance to destroy Remnant's continents before reigning over the world as its king, not knowing that Salem survived and is pissed off about interference.
