Omake 3: The Antics of a Girly Catboy (1)
Warning! It's about Murasaki, and he got quite the naughty mind!
To say that the newest addition to the team was having a blast in his newest home would be an understatement.
Of all potential situations that could come from that unexpected take on a bad joke gone wild, Murasaki was glad that things turned out the way they did. Well, to a degree. A kitty he might be, but a cheeky one he still was to heart. And why wouldn't he? He was given the chance to join such an amusing group and one led by the most amusing of them all. John Bukharin, oh he was such a treat!
John was a funny man, with the way Murasaki saw funny as a never-ending source of entertaining scenarios. To be a cause of many curious developments which, by normal means, shouldn't happen one after the other, but that were still exciting and ready to provide them with something to do and turn the usually boring days fun.
Ah yes, he was such a delightful individual. And the rest of the party wasn't any less amusing. Starting with Zenith- oh she was such a sweetheart! Always caring, always watching over everyone but always telling poor Murasaki to be less devious in his plotting. But why would he be any less amazing? That was such a dreadful thing to say.
Next was Ghislaine and there was much to say about her. Ghislaine was who Murasaki would come to define as a woman that, had she been born a man, would have probably gained his attention the most.
The woman was also a brilliant swordswoman, something that matched with John to some degree. It would be wrong to say one was stronger than the other, not when both followed two different styles which may favor each of them at times or even neither. It was all tied to various other factors that Murasaki was too uncaring to consider since it would be beyond his expertise.
Third in the line was Geese. And the guy was... reliable? Murasaki didn't exactly have much to say beyond the fact he was hiding something from people. He may not be sure what he was hiding, but it was easy to pick up when he was trying to do something with John. And the first thing that came to mind was the fact that he was aiming for John too! That wouldn't do, he was the one meant to conquer him, no other guys- especially normal-looking ones.
Fourth in the line was Mistre- Elinalise. Even when she wasn't around, the elvish woman knew how to command Murasaki's submission. It took her one night to show him how easy it was for him to bow down to dominant partner, and one night to realize that her condition that prevented her to act on having sex didn't limit her capacity to give him hell. She had easily learned his strengths and flaws, turning those all against him and turning a most confident kitty-boy into a legitimate pet that bowed to her orders.
Last in that group was Roxy. The Migurdian girl was quite tame compared to the rest and while Murasaki was tempted to just drop it at that, it would be a lie to say she wasn't interested in John either. It was odd, really, how the leader of the party had gained such an interesting cast of adventurers which, one way or another, were attracted to him.
It wasn't like Murasaki didn't get it by a mere glance alone- the guy was perhaps a rarity among other adventurers and other men. It was like seeing one of those simple merchants that planned through future risks combined with a powerful warrior. It was such a bizarre mix-up, but the result created a very reliable man that took into account the opinions of others.
Beyond the kink thought of his, Murasaki was also awed by a couple of things that left him 'tied' to John. If he promised something, then that was going to be it regardless of the few obstacles in the way. He handled conflicts as a mediator, keeping himself neutral through most of them and, while Geese was the standard cook, he seemed to know his way around the kitchen.
What Murasaki knew from the way Ghislaine, Elinalise and Zenith buzzed around the man was that he was both a good fighter, a reliable individual, and husband material. He was literally prepared to handle the responsibilities that only a few mature individuals could handle once the adventuring days were over- or should be over as he seemed ready to go through with this until he was old and unable to handle the stress.
That didn't exclude him 'lessening' the schedule he had for himself and the rest of the group, with John's own words confirming he wanted to use this house both as a 'private guild' but also a place where the members can settle their families in due time. In layman's terms, he was fusing the necessity to keep a tight group such as his party and the chances of backing down for missions in a single problem with a single solution.
Mind-boggling to say the least, but also enough to confirm to Murasaki that joining this group had been one of his best ideas yet. Not only was he safe to have a stable place to live in until he behaved and kept his kitty antics within moderation, but there was a chance for him to get some of that sweetness himself.
And he wasn't backing away from that~.

REVIEW Q&A!
Forge Steelheart: Depends on the situation, really. Right now I wouldn't have anything to do with them, but if you bring this up in PMs, I think I should be able to come up with something in the near future.
Wild Dose: It will sure be a fun idea if it was John and Zen's son that does that. Kind of the two parents that helped up with Ghis ending up helping her nieces too.
SPITBALLER: I have a plan or two, and I intend to work a way to not make any interaction around her awkward to read in the way some SIs may behave in a few stories with this situation.
