Chapter 489: Pokémon Day for Royal Woods.
(February 27. Royal Woods Middle School.)
The school is looking fantastic! Delilah Lewis Loud's plan has worked, and the newly made Pokémon day festival is looking awesome and quite colorful too. The decorations look lovely, the food served there is all made possible with the creative works from other worldly allies, and there are some games and prizes to be shown to those who don't know about this franchise and why it is so popular and iconic.
Delilah Lewis Loud is overseeing the whole thing from the stage, and this stage is also being setup for the big show of some other worldly things coming. "This is all going so well and everyone is loving this, even the folks from the High School are here!"
"No kidding." Jack Cyber goes towards her, he is the ally who came to help. "You're lucky I came on time, and just as I finished my Pokémon battle with Spellman back in my world and he beat me and my Coalossal, hard!"
Delilah is surprised to hear this. "Dang, wish we could have a Pokémon battle showing here, it would be wicked awesome!"
Jack Cyber smirks. "Would be, but there aren't gonna be some folks with Pokémon partners around to make that happen, and also a friend of mine from another world will be sending in some Pokémon which he has brought from another world, and they'll be here soon. For now, go and enjoy this whole festival event you came up with kid." Jack Cyber then prepares everything else.
While Delilah heads off and looks for her little sister, Leslie and she spots her interacting with Stella, and they are playing a toy Magikarp fishing game, and so Delilah joins in. Walking by them is Lincoln, and Luna. The duo look around this place and are impressed.
"Wow. Looks like what Delilah planned really did turn out alright, I mean this is big!" said Luna in amazement. "Seems like Sam's baby bro is enjoying this." They spot Simon wearing a lot of Pokémon branded merchandise and Sam is following him around, to keep him from getting lost, and she too is wearing something. A Raichu themed hat.
Lincoln chuckles. "Dang, Simon loves this franchise and we don't know much about this. But I do recall that my hero counterpart said he has a Pokémon, the disaster Pokémon named Absol and that his Jordan has this Lopunny and I think his Luna has... Exploud? I don't know about this stuff, I honestly don't."
Luna nods and she sees her two other band mates, enjoying the Whimsicott looking cotton candy. "It sure does put a smile on everyone's faces and I gotta say that some of this stuff is pretty awesome, and also very big and it has gotten the eyes of everyone and I mean everyone."
They can see Leni, and her friends Jackie and Mandee checking out the cute outfits that mimic the attire from the female characters of the Pokémon franchise, Luan and Benny reading about how ridiculous and funny Team Rocket is all about and for some reason Mr. Grouse is here, to sample some of the free food, but that doesn't stop him from getting some interesting merchandise, like mugs.
"Michelle would be proud of Delilah and what she did" replied Luna. "Delilah definitely got this whole event setup stick from her."
"No kidding" replied Lincoln, he sees his girlfriend Jordan, and the other gals seeing how cute the Pokémon plushies are, and this gives Lincoln an idea. "Hey mom, wanna try some of the games and win some prizes here?"
Luna smirks. "Well, alright then kiddo. Best we do spend this day, and have some awesome fun. We can also try the food here, like those cookies shaped like Pokémon." They go over and they both play the Water Type Pokémon, where they shoot with water guns so they can hit the targets, and they could win some of the prizes on the wall.
(Later in the Day.)
After playing many of the games, we see Lincoln and Luna have won a lot of Pokémon themed prizes.
Lincoln: He has a baseball cap of a Snorlax, a t-shirt and jacket of fire-type Pokémon, a wrist watch that is Rotom themed, and even some plushies of a Charizard, Hydreigon, Axew and Sandshrew. He even has a new Nintendo device, and Pokémon games to come with it.
Luna: Purple jacket with the logo of poison type, an MP3 player casing which has Chatot on as the logo, an Ekans themed belt, Loudred themed head phones and a cowboy hat with the logos of Pokéballs. She even got an album with many theme songs from the franchise.
"We literally went all out on this stuff, and it is so awesome!" said Luna with joy.
"Yeah!" said Lincoln. "I freaking love Pokémon now!" He then notices his friends and waves to them, and they are surprised by the stuff Lincoln got, and now they can see that he is now a fan of Pokémon.
Luna then has an idea. "How about, perhaps next month we can see if there are some Pokémon movies, and we can watch them all together, how does that sound kiddo?"
Lincoln smiles hearing this. "Now that sounds awesome and..." they then see the stage is done and Jack Cyber is about to speak. "Mom, come on!" they both race to the stage to see what this is about, and the other folks go over and also check this out. Jack Cyber then makes an announcement.
"Hello everyone, thank you for coming today to the first ever Royal Woods Pokémon festival, idea and setup by Delilah Lewis Loud and helped made possible by Principal Ramirez, and to be honest I didn't see this coming. I didn't think this whole event was setup and made real, but it is and here you all are now getting into the vibe that is called, Pokémon!"
Everyone cheers hearing this. "Alright, alright. Everyone calm down, now Delilah Lewis Loud also made this very special request... To ask me to bring forth some special guests, to show everyone that the franchise is more than just what you all think, and so without anything else to say... Ladies and gentlemen and all you fans out there... Real. Life. Actual. Pokémon!"
Everyone is surprised to hear this and then the stage light is on and stepping forward are the following Pokémon who wanted to be part of this with the help from the Guardian asking a small legendary Pokémon, named Hoopa and interact with the folks here, and here are those said Pokémon!
Bulbasaur.
Seed Pokémon. Grass and Poison Type.
A strange seed was planted on its back at birth. The plant sprouts and grows with this Pokémon. It can go for days without eating a single morsel. In the bulb on its back, it stores energy. At times they can be seen in large groups or wandering alone, but staying in a group seems better than wandering on your own and not having some help and friends. Evolves into Ivysaur, and then Venusaur.
Charmander.
Lizard Pokémon. Fire Type.
Even the newborns have flaming tails. Unfamiliar with fire, babies are said to accidentally burn themselves. Obviously prefers hot places. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail. The flame at the tip of its tail makes a sound as it burns. You can only hear it in quiet places. Evolves into Charmander and then Charizard.
Squirtle.
Tiny Turtle Pokémon. Water Type.
After birth, its back swells and hardens into a shell. Powerfully sprays foam from its mouth. Shoots water at prey while in the water. Withdraws into its shell when in danger. It takes time for the shell to form and harden after hatching. It sprays foam powerfully from its mouth, and they always are seen as a large group and having a Blastoise as their leader. Evolves into Wartortle and then Blastoise.
Heracross.
Single Horn Pokémon. Bug and Fighting Type.
They gather in forests seeking the sweet sap of trees. It is completely clad in a steel-hard shell. Usually docile, but if disturbed while sipping honey, it chases off the intruder with its horn. This powerful Pokémon thrusts its prized horn under its enemies' bellies then lifts and throws them. With its Herculean powers, it can easily throw around an object that is 100 times its own weight. This Pokémon is not known to evolve, but does have a mega form.
Bagon.
Rock Head Pokémon. Dragon Type.
Although it is small, this Pokémon is very powerful because its body is a bundle of muscles. It launches head-butts with its iron-like skull. Bagon has a dream of one day soaring in the sky. In doomed efforts to fly, this Pokémon hurls itself off cliffs. As a result of its dives, its head has grown tough and as hard as tempered steel. Evolves into Sheldon and then Salamance.
Pachirisu.
EleSquirrel Pokémon. Electric Type.
A pair may be seen rubbing their cheek pouches together in an effort to share stored electricity. It's one of the kinds of Pokémon with electric cheek pouches. It shoots charges from its tail. It makes electricity with pouches in its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail. It lives atop trees. It makes fur balls that crackle with static electricity. It stores them with berries in tree holes. Not known to evolve.
Rufflet.
Eaglet Pokémon. Flying and Normal Type.
With its sharp claws, this Pokémon pierces its prey, and then it pecks at them. Although it also consumes berries, it's a carnivore at heart. They crush berries with their talons. They bravely stand up to any opponent, no matter how strong it is. With its powerful legs and sturdy claws, it can crack even the hard shells of Shelder and pluck out their insides. They will challenge anything, even strong opponents, without fear. Their frequent fights help them become stronger. Evolves into Braviary.
Tyrunt.
Royal Heir Pokémon. Rock and Dragon Type.
This Pokémon was restored from a fossil. If something happens that it doesn't like, it throws a tantrum and runs wild. Its immense jaws have enough destructive force that it can chew up an automobile. It lived 100 million years ago. Tyrunt is spoiled and selfish. It may just be trying to frolic, but sometimes the ones it's trying to frolic with are gravely injured. It can also inflict grievous wounds on its Trainer just by playing around. Evolves into Tyrantrum.
Wimpod.
Turn Tail Pokémon. Bug and Water Type.
This Pokémon is a coward. As it desperately dashes off, the flailing of its many legs leaves a sparkling clean path in its wake. Its habitat varies from beaches to sea beds. A natural scavenger, it will gleefully chow down on anything edible, no matter how rotten. It's nature's cleaner—it eats anything and everything, including garbage and rotten things. The ground near its nest is always clean. Wimpod gather in swarms, constantly on the lookout for danger. They scatter the moment they detect an enemy's presence. Evolves into Golisopod.
Sinistea.
Black Tea Pokémon. Ghost Type.
Evolves into Polteageist, but also has two forms.
Phony form.
This Pokémon is said to have been born when a lonely spirit possessed a cold, leftover cup of tea. The teacup in which this Pokémon makes its home is a famous piece of antique tableware. Many forgeries are in circulation.
Antique form.
The swirl pattern in this Pokémon's body is its weakness. If it gets stirred, the swirl loses its shape, and Sinistea gets dizzy. It absorbs the life-force of those who drink it. It waits patiently, but opportunities are fleeting—it tastes so bad that it gets spat out immediately.
Everyone is surprised by this, and baffled, and Delilah claps and cheers that her plan did work. While Lance, Trent and Artie faint seeing those Pokémon, the legit real deal, and even the one from the Galar Region, this also surprises Lincoln and Luna who did not see this coming. Then Jack Cyber speaks.
"Alright, so you guys can come and interact with these little guys, but some professional caretakers from another world are here, to make sure no trouble comes, and try to be cautious around Tyrunt, We have a medical staff just to be safe, even when you guys are interacting with Charmander, alright folks? So, come on up and check them out guys. They also are eager to make some friends."
Simon goes on stage and Squirtle goes over and hugs him, and so he returns the embrace, and soon some of the people come on stage and check these guys out, and they are the real deal which is a total shocker for them, though they are careful around some Pokémon, mostly Tyrunt.
Lincoln chuckles seeing this. "Delilah just made this the best dang day for everyone!" He then goes over and he sees the little bird, Rufflet and with his mother following behind and everyone continues to enjoy this awesome, and amazing and marvelous Pokémon day festival!
