The first day for Lori to be part of a new family, and before she can find a way of life for her in Royal Woods. She should spend some time and see what has gone down and changed since she was here and allowed to be around Royal Woods, and the good folks of the town. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 491: Lori Lauren in Royal Woods.

(March 1. Lauren Residence.)

The daytime has come, and Lori awakens from her slumber and she looks around the place she is in and then she recalls what went down the other day. 'Right, I have been brought into another family and a whole new future. Goodbye and farewell Lori Loud and hello Lori Lauren. Sister of Leni Lauren and the auntie of Luan Lauren.'

Lori then gets out of her large light blue bed, and then she looks out the window and sees the nice and sunny day and she is happy to witness the peaceful looks from Franklin Avenue. "Feels like old times, already." She then sees the phone she was given, and she sighs.

'Calm down, Lori. You are not the same damned Lori who is always on the phone. I am a new Lori and this is a whole new life for me, and a lot of new stuff going down. Now, time to see if Leni and Luan are awake.' She then takes her leave from her bedroom, and she is wearing a light blue pajamas.

Lori makes it to the living room and she sees Leni and Luan eating breakfast, and the duo spot her awake. "Good morning, Lori."

Lori chuckles. "Hey guys, and this all smells so delicious." she then goes over and takes her seat. She then shares a small hug with Leni and then she hugs Luan, and this makes both Lauren's smile and return the embrace. "Thanks, I needed this. It feels nice to be part of something new."

"You know it, Lori" replied Luan. "I mean, it was hard for me to handle this kind of change when Leni came to me and took me in as her little girl, and it is kinda weird and yet feels kinda alright."

Lori chuckles. "I have a lot to go through." She then tries the eggs and bacon. "This tastes amazing, Leni you have become an amazing cook."

Leni giggles. "Thank you, sis." she then sits down and eats with them. Leni then looks towards Lori. "So, anything big planned for you for the day, Lori?"

Lori then drinks her coffee. "Well, I was thinking of getting a job, but perhaps that can wait. I wanna take my time and walk around the town and check out everything on how much stuff had changed since I was locked up for a long while."

"Also, I do have plans for college, but a part of me thinks that perhaps I should head for college when the time is right, and the community college is the best bet I got. I also wanna attend it the same time as you do, Leni. I am already finished with my High School education, and so I think it is best for me to attend college, alongside you sis."

Leni and Luan are both surprised, and then they smile. Leni then speaks. "Lori, that sounds like a dang awesome idea, and I am so in on it."

"But for now, be calm and keep yourself comfortable while being home alone" replied Luan, she then drinks her coffee. "Since mom and I need to go to school, someone is going to have to watch over the place whole we're gone, and I guess you're tagged in."

Lori chuckles hearing this. "Well, alright then. I'll do my part and help out with things, and then when the time comes, I will get my job and earn some cash. Despite you two being rich... How did you guys get this large sum of cash anyway?"

Leni then tells her. "Cash support from the Louds. They helped, and we saved the cash, while I earn some money for us to use as a living. Best to save the extra cash for emergencies, and use the hard earned cash on what we need and possibly want."

Lori chuckles. She is impressed at how smart Leni has become, it feels like this Leni is better than the Leni from back then, because this Leni is a responsible and very smart girl, and Lori is proud to be her sister once more.

(Later in the Day.)

Lori comes down from the stairs and she is dressed for the day,

Lori's current attire: Light blue t-shirt, with a dark blue jacket and brown jeans, black belt and white and blue shoes with yellowish sun streak patterns, and her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Lori had finished washing the dishes for Leni and Luan, and she said her goodbyes to them as they drove off, and she is happy to see Leni have her own set of wheels to take herself and Luan to school. Lori then washed the laundry and she knows how they should be cleaned.

Then Lori took her time to clean the whole house, and she even cleaned the bathrooms to make them look clean, and wiped the windows and the portraits on the walls, and even go into the bedrooms of Leni and Luan and clean them up, and also sort out what is out of place.

Afterwards, Lori went to the backyard and she began to use the lawn mower and drove around the backyard mowing the lawn, then she watered the marigold garden Leni has setup, and went to clean the gutters, but the gutters are cleaned and so Lori went to take a shower and here she is now, all nice and clean and ready for her day back in Royal Woods.

Lori has some cash that Leni left for her, and she's not gonna use it on some of her wants, but for her needs. Lori then comes out of the house and she uses the key and locks the door. Lori then leaves the area, and she recalls that she doesn't have a ride to the Park. 'Right, I got no ride.'

"Need a ride." Lori sees Michelle, and she waves to her and so Lori walks over to her.

"Hey there, Michelle. I thought you were at work or something, what are you still doing here at home?" asked Lori.

Michelle smirks. "Well, I didn't have to go to work early today. Mayor Davis told me to take the day off, since we spent a lot of time making the upcoming Royal Woods Music Festival setup, and so I am going to spend my days at the mall. You wanna tag along, Lori Lauren?"

Lori thinks about this, but she has her own plans. "As fun as it would be to see what the mall has, I have to decline. But I could use a ride to the Park, if you don't mind."

Michelle nods. "Not at all, hope in, Lori." The duo get into the red Ferrari of Michelle Lewis Loud, and they drive off to their destination. Deep down Lori is in deep thought about some stuff, but she'll deal with that when she gets to the Park to ponder about her future and plans.

(Ketcham Park.)

Lori walks around the Park, watching a lot of folks spending some time here, some she knows and some she doesn't know and this means that new company has showed up and made themselves feel welcomed here in the town.

Lori sighs and then she thinks about some stuff she has to do. 'Alright, so tomorrow I need to sort out on where to work, but perhaps I could go for the top 3 choices for me on where to find a paying job. I could work at the local mini-golf course, look for a local place to work at in the Royal Woods Mall, or I could work at the Rose and Comfort Restaurant.'

'Either of those choices might work and if I can earn enough cash of my own, then I am going to college when summer vacation is over, and alongside Leni too. But before that does come, perhaps I could get my driver's license and then my own car so that I won't have to ask others for a ride. I do need it, and also... Pay a visit to Great Lakes City.'

'I just need to tie off some loose ends and try and calm down some issues from the past, such as Bobby and the Casagrandes. I know he is dating Carol and I am happy for them, plus it helps for Bobby to try and be a little bit smart, Carol is an awesome gal and to be dating Bobby is a good thing for her, since she had jerky boyfriends before. Bobby's a good guy for her.'

'Then I gotta keep track of my education and continue to try and become someone more than who I was, I know that I wanna try and be a boss of a big company. But after everything I have been through, I think the best thing for me is to try and just find a suitable job meant for someone like me. Besides my optional 3 ideal jobs for the time before I head to college.'

'Also, I recall that Leni will be graduating this year, around the end of this school year and she will be going to college. Not weird for me to be in the same class as Leni, we were once in one back then, and it makes me feel like we're the best of friends once again, and it feels nice to be part of a new family, with some very familiar faces. I wonder what future Leni would want, when she and Kurt tie the knot one day.'

Lori then walks around the Park, and she notices some High School students are there and spending some time there, and she knows it means one thing. 'Looks like their classes are done, which means Leni is at work and Luan might have some plans for today and...'

"Lori!" The blonde Lauren then sees her niece, Luan walk towards her, and she has her school bag. "Good to catch up with ya, and I thought you might need some company to spend some time with."

Lori smiles. "Thanks, and I am gonna guess you're wondering why Lincoln didn't show up, huh?"

Luan then walks alongside Lori. "Well, sorta. How come he isn't here to spend time with you? I mean, he missed you more than anyone else."

Lori chuckles. "Got a message, from Lunes. She told me that Lincoln wants to help finish up the song they have planned for this Friday, for the Royal Woods Music Festival, and of course I am gonna be there and see how it goes. I missed hearing the awesome jams Luna and the others make, and with Lincoln involved? Now that is a sight I don't wanna miss out."

Luan chuckles. "Same here." they then continue to walk around and then Luan asks. "Do you really do plan to get a job and then head to college? I mean, I thought you'd think of something else. After everything you have been through after all."

Lori sighs. "Yeah, I did have some plans of my own. Plans for myself to not be around Royal Woods and find my own future, but after the many visits from Lincoln and Luna, everything changed and I wanna see my future through a whole new path, but to be part of the Lauren family... Now that is something I did not see coming."

Luan nods. "Same here, I didn't think my mom would've had that plan and now we're family once more, but not sisters as we were back then, and this is a change I am going to have to get used to."

"I know what you mean, Luan." Lori then asks. "So, you dating someone?"

Luan blushes. "Well, I still have this crush on Benny, but he is dating Maggie and some mixed feelings between the three of us seems to be in the way and some very questionable stuff we're trying to figure out. I am glad we're friends still and part of the same club, the theater club."

Lori smiles hearing this. "So much has changed here, from you to Leni and everyone else. I like this change, and it suites the town and everyone else, keeping track of what the future holds and not sticking with the problems from the past, and I wanna put our bad history behind us, and I know you want to as well."

Luan smiles and she nods. "Dang right, also do you plan to one day visit either Lynn Junior or our former parents?"

Lori thinks about this. "That is... Well, that is one tall order and it's something I didn't see coming. I was busy with other plans, but... I need to think this through, don't worry about it, sweetie."

Luan smiles and giggles at that nickname. "This whole new life for us has changed even further and I for one wanna look forward to it, an awesome and brand new future for all of us. The others are gonna be so surprised when they see you."

Lori then thinks about this. "Hmmm, perhaps visiting the former family might not be so bad, would love to see how they feel seeing me again, right?"

Luan chuckles. "Then it looks like we all have a plan, now we have to wait to talk to Leni about this and then it's gonna be an awesome reaction plan!" Lori and Luan then high five each other and share a few laughs and they continue their bonding time, in Ketcham Park. A moment between two Lauren's.
