To many the choice of putting Ghislaine as the 'head' of the 'Non-Screwing Up Committee while Preparing the Wedding' may sound like a perplexing idea.

Something that wasn't missed to either Roxy and Elinalise as they tried to reason with this notion. It wasn't like there was a distrust towards the Beastwoman, but it felt so odd that, out of the two more intelligent party members, John and Zenith had picked Ghis. Favoritism? Maybe. But their many questions persisted on the 'why' this was a good choice.

Rather than ask, the two just decided to indulge individual investigations on the matter and... what they found made them realize that Ghislaine may have been the best choice. They both tackled the matter in a very rational fashion, taking notes and trying to glimpse into a few days into the preparations for the big event.

The first step was the venue after the ceremony and there were a couple of places to check. The first one was one of those traditional restaurants with a kind-looking elderly butler in charge of things.

"Our menus are of quality, drawing inspiration from various cultures and-"

"I've heard that you were contested by a few royal officers for using cheap and sickness-inducing ingredients to go around the expenses of the meals," Ghislaine interrupted, visible eye narrowing on the man. "Likewise, your current owner is facing judicial issues."

"...Oh."

First option was swiftly ruled out without further investigation. Next up was a local business with a drunk host giving them a tour of what looked more like a traditional inn. Homely, but not truly a preferred location as a wedding's venue.

"The -hic- inn has years of making -hic- people happy. We have traditional food and-"

"And a known case of insurance fraud that should have stopped you from engaging in this sort of affairs," Ghislaine interrupted again, her annoyance even more visible within this circumstance. "You are lucky we are not in the mood to denounce this illecit behavior."

"...Shit."

Second option down the drain, so where option 3 and 4.

"She is... quite strict about details," Eli muttered dryly, Roxy nodding nervously at how brutal the selection had quickly turned.

Still, they eventually found a venue through a most unusual place.

"Oh, the Fairy Garden can prepare for a Wedding Venue, yes yes," The tiny owner of the established a tiny silver-haired fairy with a maid-like outfit answered. "Is there any questions you wish to inquire about?"

"Would the venue allow us to bring chefs we will hire?" Zenith asked, and the fairy nodded causing Ghislaine to frown.

"It's unusual for a venue to accept this addition to the catering. Any particular reason yours is different?"

The fairy hummed. "That's because we are not a full-fledged Wedding Venue. We have the authorization issued by the High Royal Clerk for this sort of activity, but we are registered as a 'place-only venue' with not many other services affordable."

That favored the group a lot since John and Zenith had planned to hire independent cooks for the meals. And that was the next step within the marriage's planning.

Once again, Ghislaine took care of being the stern deal-breaker within the selection, her spree of 'rejected' options piling up until they ended up finding a 'family' of chefs.

"That's my grandma, that's my grandpa, those are my uncles, my parents, my nephews and nieces and also this little tyke is my son and apprentice!" The 'patriarch' introduced, smiling as his toddler of a son waved in delight at the introduction. "He is young but he has the Bread-Maker's blood in him and he will be as great as the rest."

Quite the peculiar cast of people, but nothing to complain about, even their prices were affordable.

As the day proceeded, both Roxy and Elinalise realized that the main reason why Ghislaine was in charge was because of how tough she was on the various people they were talking with. While the 'couple' would act as the 'good guard', Ghis was to act as the 'strict and bad guard'. It was an interesting work as it allowed them to haggle better with less-experienced people when it comes to negotiating prices.

Impressive and it also added to another detail that they soon discovered after dinner.

"T-They are... going really loud at this," Roxy mumbled, causing the elf companion beside her to muffle a giggle.

Their gazes were aimed at Ghislaine getting bottomed out by John, the young man pounding her while she rested her belly on the mattress, ass up and begging for more rough sex. Meanwhile Zen was lying beside the beastwoman, their mouths pressing and exchanging spit and the blonde's hands teased Ghislaine's breasts.

"They sure are~," Eli remarked, looking down at her friend. "Say, Roxy."

"H-Hm?!" The blue-haired Migurdian tensed up as the elf reached for her chest and softly cupped her breasts. "W-What?"

"How about we... go back to my room and fix this together~? I will be gentle~."

Part of her wanted to say no at this, but seeing John fuck Ghislaine into a horny and needy slut had her mind wired into getting her own arousal dealt with. Fast.

"...Okay."

But while the two retreated to handle their personal desires, a certain cat-boy rubbed his hands together as he evilly smiled at the plan he just finished doodling. Soon... things will get fun~!
