The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.

From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

The Ruinverse: Chapter Thirty Eight, The Burning Age.

-Remnant, Menagerie, Kuo Kuana, Belladonna Residence-

A moonless night, the calm sea breeze, the gentle air of normality.

These were all the things that Menagerie was accustomed to, especially it's chieftain, Ghira Belladonna, however, within the household, including a rather nice study with a large dark brown wooden desk in the far center of the room on top of a marble floor, an oversized light brown coffee table, around which is a smooth dark brown couch and two dark brown loveseats, a pale green rug with dull green edges, several dark brown pots with either green plants or red flowers, green marbled pillars, a glass sliding door, several light brown bookshelves lining the walls, a painting of a sunset dominated ocean with tropical hills in the distance and a glass framed painting of Kuo Kuana.

Sitting upon the right loveseat was a tall muscular man with long black hair that went to his shoulders, a short yet thick beard, yellow eyes, wearing an open dark violet long sleeved vest with white fur trim that shows his thick hairy chest, light gray shoulder pads, a silver metal spaulder that attached on both sides of the chest by curved strips, long light brown fingerless gloves that extended to his upper arm area, thick light brown leather straps attached to the sides and held together by a silver wolf's head pin, a black band on the right arm, beige pants, and black leather boots with white toes, who was currently crossing his arms over his chest with a serious expression on his face.

The reason? His guest.

That guest, who sat on the opposite side of the table, being a tall dark tan skinned woman with wild black chin length hair in an asymmetrical bob style, amber eyes, light black stripe like tattoos across her entire body, orange bengal tiger ears with two golden hoop earrings on the left ear and two golden hoop earrings on the bottom most ears, a D cup chest and wide ass, a small red jewel on her forehead, wearing a form-fitting dark gray sleeveless top with white trim, a large diamond cut-out on the back that exposed most of her back, a smaller diamond-shaped cutout above her chest, a black elbow-length fingerless right glove, a small gray vambrace on her left wrist, a long back revealing red cape with gold accents that revealed her back and was clasped together above the diamond cutout by a golden clasp, a gray waist cincher with red trim, a black golden buckled belt with a gray pouch on her right hip, a long red rope with a golden bell on the tip wrapped around the left side of her waist, a red rope wrapped around the right wrist, a long gray skirt with white accents that shaped inwards towards her partially revealed calves, two long splits on the sides of her hips, black shorts, black knee length stockings with a golden trim, light gray red laced wedged sandals that had the red laces tied to her calves, and a long silver chain whip with a red, yellow and blue diamond on the pointed end of the weapon and a red and black handle wrapped around her right wrist as her expression was calm yet confident.

This was Sienna Khan, High Leader of the White Fang, his successor, and she can come to his manor not as a friend, but as a political rival. For what reason he did not know, but what he did know was that she had dark plans for the White Fang, and he had to stop it before she caused a war between the humans and faunus.

'I don't know what her game is, but after hearing the reports about her recent calls for war, I need to make sure she stops before humanity reignites the wars.' Ghira thought as Sienna smirked at him.

"So Ghira, what exactly did you call me here for?" she asked while placing her hands on her lap. "I have business, White Fang business, to deal with."

"You know what it is."

"No, I don't."

He sighed while knowing she was trying to bait him into a frenzy. "You have been reigniting the idea of war into the White Fang, something you opposed in the past."

She nodded. "I did, given senseless bloodshed would muddle the faunus legacy. Like Adam Taurus, the one that made your daughter into an emotional wreck."

The panther faunus sighed in frustration, knowing her words were true, given his daughter told him about the…actions of the bull faunus just moments after she came home, and internally considered hunting the man for his misdeeds.

Only to recall a small event from a few weeks ago.

"The one you dispatched for treason."

Sienna nodded with a frown. "He allied himself with humanity, the same 'class' that initiated the Fall of Vale. He tried to kill me to bring about a senseless war, but he didn't think things through."

The tiger faunus moved her left hand up and slowly moved her fingers a little in a coy manner, making Ghira frown at her arrogant body language.

"And in the end, he lost his head." she smirked while closing her hand tightly. "Literally."

"Along with others members." he frowned, having heard that several members of the White Fang, either reluctant to follow the creed or corrupted in some way, also 'lost their heads' during Adam's coup, although he has no idea what happened to the bodies or the humans that were with Adam at the time of the coup.

She shrugged while placing a fist on her left cheek, her left elbow right on her left knee as her expression seemed bored. "They wanted to sully the name of the White Fang, I only did what was required to keep the peace. Not that you care about a few traitors."

The chieftain of Menagerie frowned while his successor looked at him with a semi serious gaze.

"You want to know of my motives, is that right?"

"Yes."

"Ah, now you're being honest." she chuckled while her ears twitched slightly. "Getting to the point is always the better option than just talking casually."

Ghira frowned as Sienna smirked at him.

"Well, to tell you the truth, old friend." she said with a shrug. "That coup gave me another perspective on life."

"Oh?"

"Yes, it seems corny. But it did give me something to think about." she said while looking at the sunset painting, seemingly focused on the red pigments. "About the state of the world."

'I don't like where this is going.' Ghira thought with dread as his successor continued to speak.

"I will be frank, Ghira, the world is nearing the end." she said while staring at the painting. "The Grimm are destroying the great capitals of Remnant, the faunus are using the chaos to create 'coups', the Crown and Spider organizations are running rampant, and somehow the world is leaning towards self destruction."

"What are you getting at?"

"...it was so much simpler back then. Us, the champions of freedom, against the cruelty of humanity, who see all things, even their allies, as monstrous abominations." she sighed while tapping her right hand on her lap, the nails making small pitter patter sounds with each movement of her pads. "But as time made us wiser, it also endowed us with a single truth that can be interpreted by many. For you, it was that this age of discord could be remade by peace and 'turning the other cheek'."

Ghira frowned as the High Leader of White Fang turned her head in his direction, eyes seemingly glazed over slightly as her expression seemed….manic at best.

"What I see is that this entire world is too corrupted to survive." she said while Ghira felt a chill go down his spine. "So it must be purified before that rot spreads even further."

The chieftain's eyes narrowed as he saw the tiger faunus crossing her right leg over her left leg. "What you're saying…is insane."

"It's not insane." she said with a smirk. "It is a worthy cause."

"But to kill-"

"It isn't killing Ghira." she interrupted with a frown. "It is purification, a necessity for a better world, where inequality and suffering is nonexistent."

"But Sien-"

"Think about it, Ghira, a world so pure that nothing could corrupt it." she said while grinning a little, the distinct scent of smoke seeping into the room and caused Ghira think that his wife was cooking at the moment. "A paradise for all faunus. And for that world to live, this world must be purified, burned into ash."

"Sienna, this is insane. You can't just enact…enact a genocide of the entire world!" Ghira frowned while standing up, the smell of smoke becoming stronger with every passing second. "I will not stand by and allow you to do such a thing!"

Sienna sighed while shaking her head. "Oh Ghira, I really hoped you would join the cause willingly."

Crackle.

Crackle.

Crackle.

"But I guess that dream will burn away." she said while smoke began to enter the room, slowly darkening the room as orange flames licked outside the glass door, right near the balcony. "Along with everything else here."

Ghira's eyes widened as he quickly ran towards the door and opened it, revealing a nightmarish sight.

The entire city of Kuo Kuana…was in flames, from the buildings to the wildlife, everything was alight in a blazing orange color that blotted out the sky above.

"Don't bother." Sienna said while smirking at his backside. "The entire island is being purified as we speak. Every turncoat and corrupted faunus on this entire island has been snuffed out, all while we had our little chat."

His eyes widened in anger before turning around, only to see Sienna grinning at him.

"And if you must know, I had my new Red Flower Brigade torch the estate we are in last, after making sure your family and the monkey faunus were dealt with." she said while looking at her nails, making Ghira's anger skyrocket. "Don't worry, they had a clean death."

"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he roared before charging at the tiger faunus, his nails extended outwards with the intent to kill her.

SQUISH!

However, in an instant, she moved towards Ghira and pushed her right arm into his chest with ease, causing blood to drip from the mouth and chest as she sighed at him.

"You might have killed me." she said before pulling out her arm, revealing the still beating heart of Ghira Belladonna in her now white bone covered fingers. "If I didn't get a power boost from an Atlasian superweapon years ago."

He gasped in pain before falling to the ground, dead.

Sienna looked at the heart before throwing it at the wall, causing the wall to break as flames licked across the study, books turning into fuel for the fire, as she walked towards the balcony, where an airship sporting a blood red flower with a black flame on the door as several White Fang members, all sporting black armor and red accents, awaited her inside.

"High Leader, every inch of Menagerie has been burned." said one of the White Fang members, her left arm holding a deep red blaster with a Fire Dust crystal under the muzzle.

She nodded while jumping into the airship, just as the flames began to engulf the study behind her. "Good, now we march to Vale and Mistral. The cleansing must commence with post-haste."

"Yes, High Leader." the soldier said as the airship flew away, the flames licking across the screen as everything began to darken, Sienna's smirking face looking straight at the camera.

'Soon, all shall be pure.' she thought with sadistic glee as the screen went black. 'Soon, the Burning Age shall come to pass, so speaks High Leader Khan.'

Bio: In this timeline, the faunus known as Sienna Khan was a little different compared to her RWBYverse counterpart(s), for unlike the tiger faunus, she was ten times as brutal and much more aggressive yet hid all of that under a facade of calmness to lull others into a false sense of security. However, underneath that mask is a true monster, just waiting to be brought out into the world, which occurred during her confrontation with Adam Taurus, where instead of dying like intended, she turned the tables on him for two big reasons. The first was the fact that several years ago, she stormed and raided an Atlasian weapons testing center in Mistral and stole an experimental nanotech formula called G-91, which allowed the user to gain the powers of a Grimm but without the lowered intelligence of one, and drank its contents to become even stronger. And two, she learned of Adam's unstable and treacherous mind many years before he ever become Vale's White Fang Sect leader, thus countered his coup by implanting him and several 'unloyal' members of the White Fang with a special voice activated nanobomb, within their own drinks, that would activate when she says the words 'Long live the White Fang', blowing them up in the process. Seeing Adam's betrayal as a sign the world, including the faunus, were corrupted, she decided to create a special squad called the Red Flower Brigade to, with the use of Fire Dust based weaponry, to burn the entire planet in an act of 'purification', starting with Menagerie and then the rest of the planet. From this moment, she killed Ghira Belladonna and created a war between the Kingdoms and the Red Flower Brigade as all life becomes ensnared in the smoke and flames of Sienna's madness. To her, it isn't an evil act, but a legacy that will bring about a new clean world without evil to taint it…a mind of madness or of salvation, who can judge the works of a savior?
