The whole truth will be told, someone will be in deep trouble but might be spared, well might be spared and a new Duke will be crowned, wow that was quick right? But as they said, they aren't here to take the loud royal name, they are just here for a vacation after they know more about the louds of old, and they just never thought they would be royal and all that. Chapter 509: A Loud trip to Scotland part 3.
(Loud Castle, Loch Loud.)
Another day, and Lincoln and Luna are both sitting at the balcony and are looking at the sky, and watching Lela the dragon fly around and do some aerial tricks and they are still surprised by this. "The one thing I did not see coming, is that baby dragon becoming a full grown adult dragon... Sorry, let me rephrase that, Guardian Dragon" said Lincoln.
"No kidding." Luna then looks to her son. "You still alright after what went down the other day?"
Lincoln sighs. "I just wanted to help people, I didn't wanna become the Duke. I don't wanna be special due to being royal and all that junk, I wanna be special with the talent I already have and for some reason Angus makes things a little bit hard for me by trying to have me do helpful work to prove that I am a Duke? That is crazy and dumb. He doesn't even understand me."
They are unaware that Angus is overhearing this, and now he sees he just made things bad for himself and for the land of Loch Loud. 'Good lord me, what have I done?' He then takes his leave from them, to think of a way to make up for what he tried to do.
Luna then pulls her son close and she kisses his forehead. "Hey now, kiddo. Calm down, no one is gonna make you into the Duke and you will always be special to everyone, and me. You're my boy, and I am dang proud to be your mom, always."
Lincoln smiles hearing this and then he hugs her. "Thanks mom, I needed that."
Luna chuckles and hugs her son back. "I know kiddo, I know. We're gonna finish with figuring out more about the whole loud origin and stuff, and then we can spend some time of vacation and relaxation. I promise, Lincoln."
They then depart from the hug and then Lincoln speaks. "Mom, when this is all over. We should all leave the castle and find someplace else to stay and relax. I think we have overstayed our welcome here, I don't wanna be caught in the cluster of some royal loud duties. It's all too much for me, for all of us."
Luna nods. "Alright, kiddo, alright. We can take up that offer Morag said when we came here, and find a nice place in the village to settle down and then spend some vacation time." They both get up, and they turn around and are startled by Harriet. "Oh what the heck?!"
Harriet then speaks. "Apologies you two. But we have urgent news to inform, please meet us in the bedroom of the once Duke of Louds."
Lincoln and Luna are confused hearing this, and it sounds like it is important and then Lincoln asks. "Great Grandma Harriet, what the heck is going on?"
(Later.)
We now go to the quarters of the ones Duke of Louds, and all of them have been gathered here and have been told about what Lucille Loud and Harriet Willard have found, the journal of Old Aggie which tells the true tale of what had happened and the dragon scepter that can control the dragon and is responsible for driving the louds away from Loch Loud.
All of them couldn't believe what they are hearing, and then Lucy speaks. "Wow. I knew Morag was odd, but I didn't think her ancestor was crazy."
"Not crazy, annoyed and angered" said Leni. "That is something we have faced, from folks who had problems with us, and one of them was Mr. Grouse."
They all know that Leni is right about that one. "All this time, they never fled from Loch Loud, because it is they're home. They were just shunned out by a very angry castle caretaker. Dang, this is something even I did not see coming" said Lisa.
"Old Aggie sounds mean" replied Darcy.
"Too mean, and a little deranged in the head" said Teri.
"These actions cannot go unpunished, and chances Morag has the same feelings for the rest of the louds and former louds too" said Maggie. "We gotta stop her from doing something dark, darker even for my standards."
Luna is now ticked off. "She is so gonna get a beating from me, and I'll make sure she gets to rest in peace and quiet!"
"Count me in!" said Michelle. "She is not hurting our family, Morag is going down!"
"Stop!" They look to Lincoln and then he speaks. "Guys, we cannot let judgment be on her by our hands, even though some of us are louds. This is something that has to be made, for the rest of the folks of the village of Loch Loud. We need to inform everyone about the truth, so that they can settle this, themselves."
"The authority of royal loud blood runs through us, yes... But we are passed all of that and have become folks with a better life and future. We came here to know more about the louds and what they did here in Scotland and we found out that they are royalty and driven away by some crazed castle keeper."
"Those days have gone and have cursed the land of Loch Loud to be miserable and hopeless and having the folks seem like simple minded sheep, I mean they don't even know how to fix the bell tower by themselves." The others agree to that, but Lucille doesn't know about this and she is confused.
'Wait, the folks today don't know how to fix the town themselves? What would my brother the duke say?'
Luan then looks towards Lincoln. "So, Lincoln Loud. What's the plan?"
Lincoln smirks. "Alright, I will need the journal and we need the villagers to come to the castle for what we have to tell them, and we also need to contain Morag so that she can confess up and some backup stuff to prove that she also is like Old Aggie, and we also need Angus to be with the crowd as well. They have all wanted the loud's back after more than 400 years, but they will get something else... The truth and justice."
(Later in the day.)
Everyone in the village is here, all of them are looking forward to what they have to hear, and some folks are believing that Lincoln Loud changed his mind, wants to stay and become the Duke, but one man doesn't think so.
Angus, he then speaks. "Everyone calm down. Look, I overheard Lincoln Loud talking to his mother, and... He has his own life, he has folks who like him for who he is and not for being royal. He has friends and family and loved ones and... If he stays here, then we're all just pulling him away from the good folks he knows and loves. I understand it now, and I was a total fool to think he could be the Duke we all have been looking forward to."
Everyone is surprised to hear this from Angus, and this makes them doubt on what they should believe, then Lincoln is at the balcony and everyone cheers and claps seeing him. Morag is being held by Teri and Delilah and she doesn't even know what is going on. "Can someone explain what is going on? He doesn't wanna be the Duke, does he?"
Lori then speaks. "Literally doesn't wanna be the duke, so shut it, Morag hag."
Morag is surprised by that insult, and then Lincoln looks to the crowd and he is about to tell them to stop, but then Luna has a speaker and her electric guitar and she shreds so hard that everyone covers their ears and the windows are shaking. "Shut. It! don't make me plug some bagpipes in this and trust me... They'll be a total ear piercing pain!"
Everyone is afraid by what she had just said. Luna sighs and then she looks to her son. "All yours, kiddo." she ruffles his hair and kisses his forehead and this makes him chuckle and smile.
"Thanks mom." He then looks to the crowd. "Everyone, I am not hear to accept being the Duke..." everyone is now saddened to hear this. "But, that is not what you all wanted. For the past more than 400 years, there have not been any louds, but what do you all need? A leader, and also... the truth about what happened to the Louds of old."
Morag then sees the journal. "No... No!" But Delilah holds her back.
Lincoln then shows them the journal. "This is the journal, the one that belongs to the former Castle Caretaker old Aggie. The louds did not fled from the lands of Loch Loud, they were driven away by the guardian dragon, using this." He shows everyone the Dragon Scepter. "The one thing that destroys the free will of the dragon, and the reason why the Louds were driven away, because they have to follow the traditional laws of the guardian dragon of Loch Loud."
"The Duke also had to surrender his crown and they fled and left for the lands of which today is the United States of America. But the way things have been going down, it seemed like a good thing for us to be living within that country, because I don't know where I would be or the others if we were here, and just some pompous royal dorks. Because I would rather be a simple person with the common folks then some... Rich Duke. I am grateful for the louds to have been driven away, like it was fate doing them a dang favor."
Everyone is surprised he would say that, but Angus accepts. "Guys, the real deal about this is... If you guys want a leader, someone who can fix things and be there to help when you all need something made and done, then the leader you need is not a Loud. The leader, er Duke us already here... Angus."
This surprises the folks, but mostly Angus. "Wait, what? Lad, wait... Why?"
Lincoln smirks. "Angus, it takes someone who is devoted and has done a lot of good deeds to the good folks of Loch Loud, I only did a few around the village ever since I came here, and I had some help from my family. But you Angus, you have been doing it way longer than me, and did it without the help from anyone and to me, well that makes you Duke-Material. Duke Angus."
Angus doesn't know about this, but then he hears everyone cheering. "Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus! Duke Angus!"
Angus is touched hearing this, he then looks to Lincoln and the boy smiles. "Angus, even if you are not a Loud or royalty, you are legit the guy to be the Duke of Loch Loud."
Angus feels confident and motivated and he looks to the boy. "You know what lad, I'd be honored to become the Duke for not just Loch Loud and the castle, but for the good people!" Everyone cheers, and this makes the folks from Royal Woods sigh in relief.
But one person didn't like this and her name is Morag. "No!" she then kicks the shin of Teri and Delilah and then she pushes Luna aside and then goes after Lincoln. "You will not ruin this for me, and I will not serve some moron to be the bloody Duke!" He is now fighting for the journal in Lincoln's hands.
The boy is also fighting for it, but she drops the journal and she is not aiming for the journal, she wants the dragon scepter. "Give me that, boy!"
"No!" But then Morag head butts, Lincoln and then she slaps him hard enough to be knocked over the balcony, but he holds on at the edge and this makes everyone gasp. Morag then wields the dragon scepter and this makes Lela lose control of herself and she roars in anger trying to fight it.
"Come on you beast, you are under my control!"
"Hey!" Morag turns to the right and she is struck in the face by Luna's guitar and she is knocked aside for Lori and Michelle to land a punch to her face, and then Delilah kicks her hard on the face and she is knocked off the balcony and then she falls to the ground, but she lands on the bushes.
Then the townsfolk's surround her. "Stay away from me!"
Angus looks to her sternly. "Take her away, the dungeon would suite you. A place of peace and quiet."
Angus then sees that the dragon scepter has fallen to the ground and is now shattered, and then he sees what is going on up on the balcony. Luna goes to the edge and she grabs her son. Lincoln sighs in relief and she embraces her son tightly. "Oh gosh, Lincoln I thought I was gonna lose you again. Please, don't do that to me, kiddo."
Lincoln feels a little shaken, but glad to be alive and then the others go over and embrace him. Angus sees this and he feels like this could've went from bad to worse. Just then, an ominous blue glow from the castle is made, and everyone is surprised to see the ghosts from the louds from long ago, the ghosts of the royal louds.
"What the heck?!" said Lincoln as he departs from the hug. "Wait, what?"
The ghost of the former Duke speaks. "You made the right choice lad, and it seems like finding the truth and giving this land the duke they needed and not wanted, has allowed us to return from the shattered exile made by the guardian dragon from before, thank you Lincoln Loud."
They all couldn't believe their eyes and Lincoln smiles. "Anytime, after all... Angus was worthy to be one." they all look to Angus and wave and he bows to the ghosts, but they bow to him. Then Lincoln asks. "So, what now?"
The ghost of the Duke smirks. "Coronation of course, for the new Duke of Loch Loud!" Everyone cheers and they all get ready for the grand coronation, of Duke Angus, and to Angus... This is the best dang day of his life, and he won't fail this title granted to him.

A/N: They now know the truth, and everyone knows the truth, and they got a new Duke, and it almost turned to trouble for Lincoln against Morag, but now things have been resolved and the louds and the others can go back to the vacation they planned on in the first place.
