The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.
From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.
The Ruinverse: Chapter Fifty Nine, A Single Business Proposal.

-Remnant, Solitas, Atlas, Schnee Manor-
ZAP!
BOOOOM!
Rain fell upon the frozen ground, a common occurrence in Atlas due to the climate converters turning the snow outside into suitable rain particles, as lightning raced across the sky like tiny comets.
ZAP!
BOOOM!
The camera zoomed inwards into the nest of Schnee corruption, the hallways seemingly empty and devoid of any form of life, as lightning illuminated the dark halls with its flashes of hues.
ZAP!
BOOOOOM!
As the rain hit the outside windows, the camera quickly moved towards a rather large study where a tall fair skinned man with short white slicked-back hair, cold blue eyes, a large thick white mustache, wearing a pure white double-breasted long sleeved blazer, a red handkerchief in the right breast pocket, a light blue dress shirt, a white vest, a white clip-on tie, a silver ring on his right and left index fingers, white dress pants, dark navy shoes with a white toe and a snowflake-like emblem on his tie and toes, was busy pacing across the room, seemingly stressed about something.
This is Jacques Schnee, formerly Jacques Gele, the CEO of the Schnee Dust Company and currently the wealthiest man on Remnant.
However….this wasn't always the case for just ten years ago, on this very day, he nearly lost everything.
His Dust mines destroyed, his money evaporated by constant acts of piracy, his family, the one that should've allowed him to teach the next generations of Schnees his ways, assassinated by anti Schnee sentimentalists.
All enacted by one organization….the White Fang, the bane of his existence.
At first, they advocate for 'equal rights' in the workforce, but when an altercation in one of his Dust mines went sour, killing a random 'bull' faunus in the process, the need for retribution outweighed the need for peace, bringing the near destruction of the SDC to his doorsteps and for the rise of 'faunus' sympathizers to call up for arms against the company that destroyed their 'lives'.
From Mantle to Mistral, to Vauco and Menagerie, and from the very heart of Atlasian society, the need for blood threatened everything he had made possible.
It threatened to kill him in the 'prime' of his life.
Yet, the problem 'solved' itself out as the Grimm, unusual for the species, started attacking every single faunus and faunus sympathizer on the planet instead of just the entirety of humanity. In only a matter of months, the Faunus species….went extinct and all mention of them are slowly fading into myth and legends, all thanks to SDC 'correctional' campaigns.
Still, memories and real life interactions with the faunus still presents a problem in this new world, yet this is not what makes the CEO stressed, far from it.
"Damn it. Damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!" he muttered loudly to himself, his eyes semi bloodshot as the lightning made his ears ring. "This can't be happening! It just can't even be a possibility!"
ZAP!
BOOOOM!
He flinched and turned around, only to see the silhouette of his own shadow for a brief second. "Damn it, why did it have to be a thunderstorm tonight."
ZAP!
BOOOM!
When the next flash of lightning illuminated the room, the CEO quickly saw a spiked tentacles right near him and quickly spun around in fear.
Only to see…a Seer Grimm, floating right next to him while waiting for the human to make the next move.
"Ah…ah…damn Grimm." he muttered while catching his breath, annoyed that a lowly 'artificial' Grimm would scare him like that. "I really need to put a tracker on that thing."
As the floating cephalopod 'stared' at the human with an empty expression, Jacques' guard started to relax slightly, albeit by a small amount, as he moved back to his chair and sat down.
"If this is important, reveal to me your 'mistress', if not, leave me." he frowned while putting his left elbow on the table and rested his face on the closed fist. "I have important matters to attend to." 'And all of them will be about…..that 'thing'.'
Woosh.
Red smoke formed from the Grimm's single glass-like head as a holographic version of its creator appeared, giving the CEO a nervous chill down his spine, despite his preference for the cold in general.
For how would he maintain a calm facade when Salem, the immortal scourge of Remnant, made an audience with one of her 'allies'?
"Jacques. Report."
"Oh um….everything is fine in Atlas, ma'am. The Relic of Creation is still powering the city, and our scientists are devising a way to mimic its unique properties of flight to, of course, replace the relic without suspicion." He said while trying to keep his own stress from affecting his 'performance' in front of a superior being. "And soon the faunus legacy will be forgotten, especially once the Relic of Destruction is yours of course."
"Debatable, yet you do speak true about one thing. The relics will be mine." she said before noticing his twitching eyes, seemingly darting around the room for something unseen. "What is wrong?"
"O-Oh nothing, just jitters that's all."
"..."
"I mean it, ma'am. It's just the evening jitters." he said while a bolt of lightning flashed outside the window, revealing a hulking figure for the briefest of moments before it vanished from view.
"I see. The jitters." she said while giving the man a frown. "Or could it be guilt for allowing the deaths of an entire species by the jaws of the Grimm?"
"W-What no! Why would I care about the faunus, they are just simple animals, common fodder that chose to bite the hand that fed them. They deserved death." he said with a frown, feeling the stress building up behind his 'mask'.
ZAP!
BOOOOM!
"They deserved being forgotten about, that's all." he frowned while a shadow moved across the edges of his perception, making him stand up in fear. 'NO! NOT NOW!'
"Is something wrong, Jacques? You seem jumpy."
"I-It's-"
ZAP!
KABOOOOM!
A bolt of lightning hit the window, shattering the glass into pieces as it collided with the family portrait on the far side of the room, causing it to ignite into flames.
"AH!"
"Nothing? It's nothing?" Salem said with an amused frown. "It seems like you're having a spot of trouble, Schnee."
"It's nothing!"
"Do not talk back to me." she said coldly as the Seer's tentacles started to move towards the man's throat. "Now, tell me what makes you fearful of every shadow and noise in this room."
"I-"
BOOM!
BOOOM!
BOOOOM!
The sound of broken stone echoed in the ears of the two 'allies', growing louder and louder as something seemed to be…..trying to break through….the ROOF!?
BOOOM!
BOOOM!
CRACK!
CRACK!
Pieces of stone and concrete fell onto the ground, cracks forming over the study's ceiling as Jacques started to hyperventilate in fear.
"It's here! IT'S HERE!"
"What is here!? Tell me or face my wrath!" Salem snapped, getting very tired of the man's cowardly nature.
"OK OK! It's a monster!" he yelled while the ceiling began to crack even more, rain dripping onto the floor as Salem looked at him with confusion. "A monster made of DUST!"
"What?"
"You heard me! The SDC is under attack by a monster made of Dust!" He yelled while trying to get out of the Seer's grasp. "It just showed up ten years ago and since then it's been trying to destroy the company! Destroying warehouses, killing the workers, EATING the Dust!"
"..."
BOOOM!
CRACK!
"And now it's trying to KILL me!" he yelled while finally getting out of the Grimm's tentacles, only to see massive cracks forming on the ceiling as he raced to his table drawer and pulled out a pistol from the middle drawer. "And if I don't get out of here now, I'll be it's next meal!"
"...so this was your doing, is it not?"
"WHAT!? This wasn't my fault!"
BOOOM!
BOOOOOOM!
"From what I've heard, this 'monster' appeared after I fulfilled my part of the bargain, the one you told me the day you found my castle. I allowed you to use the Grimm to send the faunus and their allies to an early grave, in exchange for your services." she said with a frown, the ceiling starting to give way from the constant pounding above them. "Yet even after all your schemes and efforts, you allowed something to slip through your hand and allowed a threat to YOUR operations to survive for ten long years. Undermining everything you promised me."
"But I-"
BOOOOOOOOOM!
CRASH!
The ceiling shattered into pieces, the rain pouring into the room and sending droplets all over the walls and carpet as something rose up from the debris.
Jacques screamed in horror as he dropped his pistol onto the ground, the figure's body shimmering in the light of Dust powered lamps dotting around the room.
For standing high above him was an extremely tall multicolored crystalline humanoid woman with long jagged crystal-like hair that trailed downwards and curled upwards into two cyan colored pointed split tails, a pure purple right eye and dull yellow left eye, pointed triangular yellow 'ears' on the top of her head, a I cup chest and large ass, sharp dark orange crystals poking out of the 'jawline', long red claw-like hands with light blue shards dotting the arms and shoulders, pale green crystal shards around the hips, upper and lower torso, taloned dark purple claws at the end of her feet, and was covered in a dark crimson fire-like aura as it's eyes were filled with hatred and malice.
"Mmmmmm. Interesting." Salem said as the Seer floated away from the CEO and towards the hole in the ceiling. "A golem of Dust. And look at this, it has the traits of your loathful 'animals'. Ironic isn't it, Jacques?"
"S-S-Salem! P-Please! Help me!" he stuttered out as the man moved backwards, the monstrous humanoid moving forwards with each step the man made. "Save me!"
"I could, but this is your mess." She said while smirking a little. "The fault is on you, simple Gele. You brought this upon yourselves and frankly, I really don't need you anymore, despite your need to survive that interested me that day….you have really nothing else to offer me."
"I-I can get you into Atlas unscathed! I can get you the Relic of Creation! I will do anything if you save me!" He yelled in terror as the 'monster's' tails began to glow, forming two large ethereal claws that grabbed the man by the torso before dragging him towards them. "AAHHH!"
"GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" it growled while opening its 'jaw', revealing an endless abyss of sharp crystals that spun like drill tips.
"SAVE ME!"
"Save yourself, coward." she said while the Seer floated away. "And return to me once you face the weight of your sins."
"A-A-AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" he screamed as the man found himself getting pushed into the crystalline gullet, the drill-like crystals spinning faster and faster as the camera panned away to reveal the Seer floating away from the manor.
SQQQQQQUUUUIIIIISSSSHHHH!
"Such fools always fall to their own darkness eventually, even worms like him." she said coldly as the hologram quickly vanished, causing the screen to become black as tar, thunder ringing in the background before all fell silent once more.

Name/Designation Title: Jacques Schnee (A Single Business Proposal Jacques Schnee- ASBPJSRWBY)
Age: 40~50?
Affiliation: Mega Evil (Due to resources and Grimm assistance only)
Dimension: - 7006666179127- 99 ASBPJSRWBY
Abilities: Extremely low speed, strength, durability, agility and endurance (never unlocked his aura), SDC knowledge and skills, limited knowledge of the 'true' history of Remnant, limited knowledge of Dust handling, high charisma (front), limited control over the Grimm (limited to only Seers).
Semblance(s): None.
Bio: In this timeline, the White Fang's actions against the Schnee Dust Company were ten times more aggressive than in the normal canon, viciously destroying mines, facilities and sentiments owned or maintained by the SDC in their desire to be recognized as a sentient species. As the price of Dust and the stocks of the SDC began to fall to near bankruptcy levels, the CEO of the SDC tried to locate anyone that can change his fate, to fix his company's standing in the international economy, but each time he tried, he failed due to the actions of the White Fang and their sympathizers. However, his fate would change when he discovered Arthur Watts, the supposedly dead Atlasian scientist, escaping out of Atlas via an airship and, confused about this 'conspiracy', followed him to the Grimmlands, where he discovered the existence of Salem and her ability to influence the dreaded Creatures of Grimm to her will. Fearful yet fascinated by this display of domination, he was almost killed by Arthur Watts, who didn't want his presence known or to allow any witnesses to learn of his still alive existence, only for the auraless and very desperate CEO to kill the scientist, by bashing the man's head with a sharpened Gravity Dust crystal, right in front of the immortal herself. Salem, intrigued at Jacques' own baser instincts and drive for self preservation, allowed him to join her 'inner cabal' in exchange for a single favor, use his influence to obtain the relics for her and she will fulfill his deepest desire. Seeing an opportunity to regain his foothold in the SDC and the Dust trade, he only asked that the immortal could use her influence on the Grimm to wipe out every single faunus and faunus sympathizer from the face of Remnant, leaving no one to ruin his life and livelihood. In the next five years, the Grimm fulfilled the man's wish, rendering the species extinct while Jacques regained his hold on the Dust trade, using his influence to 're-educate' the world into believing the faunus species was a myth, however unbeknownst to anyone, only one faunus survived the genocide of her species….Blake Belladonna. Her mind warped by hate and rage against the elder Gele, she discovered that her semblance mutated into a more destructive form called Fallen, which allowed her to absorb the properties of Dust into her own body. Wanting only revenge, she forcibly fused herself with an entire untapped Dust vein in the Vaucoian desert, transforming her into a silicon infused Dust monster that destroyed everything in her path. Terrified by this sudden appearance of 'kama', he tried and failed to escape from this living mound of Dust, becoming the creature's next meal as her rage becomes insatiable, forever hunting the remains of the SDC, innocent or guilty, for all time, unable to rest or die until either the SDC becomes a distant memory or when her crystalline heart finally stops beating. How foolish he was, to attempt a geas with a monster only for another monster to form from the dust, oh well, he was asking for it anyway.
