The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.

From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

-Remnant, Sanus, Vale, Beacon Academy, Goodwitch's Office-

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

The sound of clanking echoed across the dark purple office, a small wooden table covered in massive amounts of unused paperwork lining the right side like a miniature mountain range, as a pair of eyes poked out from two holes made to the sides of this dangerously stacked paper trail.

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

"Ugh….." groaned a figure while the clacking sound escalated in decibels and repetitiveness, all the while a small clock on the upper left side of the office slowly ticked away the hours, the current time being 5:59 PM. 'Paper….work….why!?'

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

Ding ding ding ding ding.

"Ugh…..finally. Six pm." they muttered while a purple Scroll was placed on top of one of the paper stacks and a figure began to move away from the dusk, obscured by the mountain of paperwork. "My shift has finally ended, and the paperwork is done as well….thank the gods."

Clank!

WOOOOSH!

"AAAH!"

And just like that, mountains of paperwork began to fall onto the ground like an avalanche, blanketing the floor with various tax reports, student transcripts and other miscellaneous paper works.

Siiiish!

Only for the papers to become suspended in the air by purple energy, as a figure rose up from the sea of pulped tree paste and glared in annoyance.

"Ugh." groaned a tall pale skinned woman with pale blonde hair tied back in a bun sporting a curl hanging down the right side of her face, dull gray eyes with thick black circles around them, a G cup chest and wide ass, pink nails, wearing a white long sleeved pleated top with a wide keyhole neckline, gauntlet-like cuffs that flare in pleats at the wrist, a bright teal pendant on her collar, thin oval glasses, dangling bright teal earrings, a golden wristwatch on the right hand, a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons, a long deep black cape with a purple inside and stylized flame-like ends, a row of bronze diamond shaped beads over the back, a bronze tiara emblem on the cape's back, black stocking that faded into brown near the legs, black bronze heeled boots, and holding a thin black riding crop with a blackish purple handle in her left hand as she 'commanded' the purple 'aura' to restack the papers into very neat stacks instantaneously with a wave of her hand. "I hate paperwork, whoever created that concept should be hung by his toenails off a cliff!"

This is Glynda Goodwitch, Combat Instructor of Beacon Academy and part time secretary of Ozpin…..well that is what she should be if she didn't feel like an overworked full time secretary half the time, especially when she has other duties on her plate.

It's been like this for years, work, work, exterminate Grimm, work, work, teach the next generation of Huntsmen, work, work, work, work, work, WORK, WORK, WORK, WORK!

NOTHING BUT WORK!

It's a surprise that she can even HAVE a 'shift end', to eat, sleep and the like….but here she was, tired, exhausted, fighting insomnia's toxic embrace and….just tired in general.

But today was different. Completely different…for on this one day, a gods damn Monday to boot, she was going on a date!

"Ugh….hopefully James isn't upset about my tardiness." she muttered to herself while looking at a small mirror on the door and rubbed her right index finger on her left eye. "I really need some sprucing up, I look absolutely dreadful." 'Like a living corpse.'

As she looked upon the mirror's reflective surface, she recalled her…interactions with the Headmaster of Atlas Academy.

It started off small at first, a little bit of worry for her health and some flowers. But over time, it grew from simple concern to affection and upwards towards pure love, a love that surprised even Glynda, who didn't have the time or energy most of the time to even find that special someone.

For her…this was bliss, a reprieve from work and stress, and tonight, she was going to ask the headmaster the big question.

"Mmmm." she muttered to herself before walking to her desk and opened a drawer, revealing a small velvet box within as she opened it and smiled.

As sitting in the box was a small black ring with a single dark purple sapphire encrusted in the center.

"Tonight, I will ask him the question. Ironic, it's usually the other way around." she chuckled before hearing someone moving towards the door, causing her to close the box and quickly slam the drawer closed.

Creak.

"Ah, Glynda." said Ozpin while walking into the room. "You're still here, good."

She groaned while hoping it's not another round of paperwork, especially for Beacon's plumbing bills…oh gods the water bill. "What is it, Ozpin?"

"I know this is sudden but I have something to give you." He said while moving towards the door and pushed in a large cardboard storage box in front of the woman, who seemed very much perplexed by this.

"What….what is this?" she asked before opening the box.

"It's the entire student transcripts, all set ahead of time or just lost in the mail. I finally got them all into this one box and while I could help…I have a meeting with the Valeian Council tonight so…." he trailed off as Glynda's eyes widened, her hands twitching as she picked up some of the papers. "I hope you can do an all-nighter."

"...how….how much…."

"Mmmmm, from the last time I checked. About….ten thousand pages of laminated transcript copies, possibly more given my desire for making additional copies." he said while not seeing Glynda's hands tightening around the papers until they were only balls of crumpled paper. "You do have the free time for it right?"

"I….But…I…I have a date…."

"Oh really? That's lovely but the paperwork needs to be signed and authenticated by tomorrow." He said with some sympathy as Glynda's body started to twitch with anger, her aura leaking out of her body like wisps of smoke on an open fire. "I hope you can understand the gravity of the situation, dear Glynda."

Crack.

Crack.

Ozpin blinked as he noticed purple cracks forming around the floor, ceiling and walls, getting bigger and bigger with each passing second as he felt like he just stepped on a landmine.

A very VERY pissed off one to be exact.

CRACK!

CRACK!

Papers, furniture and glass began exploding out of nowhere, causing the headmaster to step back as Glynda's body glowed with intense power, her aura and semblance now out of control and focused on one thing only.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

KABOOOOOOOOOOM!

The destruction of everything in her general direction.

Purple energy shot out of Glynda's body like a shockwave, causing everything to form deep cracks before suddenly imploding on themselves, dust, blood, bones and wood jumbling together into a cloud of atomic dust as the screen shook from the oncoming shockwave.

All the while, Glynda's continued to scream, her mind shattered and her rage overpowering her better judgment, as all the restless nights, lack of sleep, stress and hate for her boss fused into a single desire to expel her emotions onto the world known as Remnant.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed while clutching her head in pain, the screen developing purple cracks before-

SHATTER!

Everything was destroyed, leaving everything an empty black void…the only thing left in view.

A simple velvet box, a memory of a dream long gone.

As the screen faded to black-

CRACK!

A black tendril suddenly erupted from the darkness, destroying the box as a single red eye stared at the viewers with dark intentions.

Bio: In this timeline, the Kingdom of Vale and Beacon Academy respectively are at peace, seemingly quiet and relaxed in the broader universe…except for one tiny thing. Glynda Goodwitch, unlike canon, is overworked due to the stress and time displacement of both being a teacher and a huntress on top of being Ozpin's secretary and Inner Circle member, causing her to develop insomnia as a result. With each passing day, more and more paperwork was piled upon her desk, by Ozpin himself, and slowly her temper began to manifest as her sanity deteriorated from a lack of rest and social life, although during this period of time, James Tiberius Ironwood, seeing her state, began to actively date her, under the premise of 'being friends' so he can help alleviate the stress a little. This one 'happiness' in Glynda's life helped stave off the madness for a time, but this would not last forever though, as one day, Ozpin gave Glynda a massive amount of paperwork, which was OVER TEN THOUSAND PAGES EACH, before her date with the Atlasian headmaster. This moment, one that might have led to an engagement with the man and a grimmer of happiness, was dashed away and in place of tiredness was rage, pure unbridled rage that caused her mind to snap, unleashing the full force of her semblance, Telekinesis, and caused it to not only destroy Beacon Academy in a single day, but obliterated the entire city of Vale itself at the cost of her own life. Following this incident, Atlas would declare war on Vale, in part due to Ironwood's grief of losing the only person that could keep him human, and thus…another Great War loomed in the distant future. Remember kids, sleep and time off are your friends….especially for those with extremely deadly semblances!
