Family of Two.
Chapter 531: Recovered, and alright, sorta.
(April 24. The Loud House.)
The place is awake and on a good Sunday, with Lincoln Loud awake and going down the stairs and he has to wait for the next 5 days for his legs to be fully healed again after what had happened when he was attacked, so he's gonna have some hard times going around once more, but at least he has his friends, loved ones and family there to help him.
Lincoln then goes to the dining room and behind him is his mother Luna Loud, and they see that Michelle Leslie and Delilah are already eating breakfast and they see the duo and greet them, and hearing them greet them in the morning makes Lincoln smile, and so he goes over and he embraces Leslie and Delilah and they return the embrace to their white-haired cousin.
"Good to see you girls again, it felt kinda hard trying to recover, and now I need to recover again" replied Lincoln.
They then depart from the hug and Delilah speaks. "Well, don't worry. Five more days and then it is done, you will be recovered for reals, we know it'll be hard, but we're all gonna be here to help you, so don't think that we'll be overwhelming again."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I know and I appreciate the help." He then goes over, and even Luna and they enjoy the breakfast, and then Lincoln asks. "Does anyone know where Great Grandma Harriet is? We didn't see her the other day when we returned home."
Luna is also confused. "Same, I don't know where the heck she went off to. She didn't even left a note."
Michelle then tells them after she takes a sip from her coffee. "The location of Harriet, she is visiting the boys who tried to kill you and Sam, and what she is doing now is something we should not get involved in. Chances she might be going fear factor on them."
Delilah smirks. "Well, that's what they get for what they did, despite the fact they are already scarred from what had happened when Luna shot them in their legs, which is a good thing to keep them from doin some more damage and try to harm someone else."
Luna then looks to her son. "You think those bastards deserve something for forgiveness?"
Lincoln sighs and he looks stern. "No, they don't. After all, they did try to kill me and then they tried to kill Sam, but that could've hit mom. I will not and never will I even forgive them for what they have done. Damn them, and I hope they rot in juvie."
They were glad that Lincoln is sharing his words on what he thinks about those who tried to harm him, and then he feels Luna hug him and kiss his forehead. "I can assure you, they will never ever come back. Because if they do... I'll be waiting for them, to bring more damage."
They then depart from the hug and return to eating and then Lincoln asks. "Mom, is Sam coming to hang out with us?"
Luna nods. "Yes, yes she is. You'll need to be patient little dude, and soon she will be here to join us all on our large family outing picnic. Her parents and little brother did get the chance to spend some time with her after the recovery and nothing else seems to be damaged or anything."
Lincoln liked hearing this, and so they all proceed to continue eating their breakfast, but then Leslie and Delilah notice their mother is smiling and going through her phone and deep down they know what this is about. She got a text message from Father Roland P. Chisel, and the two adopted daughters of Michelle know that she is planning on another date night.
But today, they all have a day to spend with Sam Sharp, and a picnic.
(Tall Timbers Park.)
The group had arrived to the Park and they watch as so many folks are having a good Sunday, involving some calm and peace here in the Park, and they were having a picnic, but Lincoln is not with them anymore, because he is having a chat with the others.
But with them is Sam Sharp, and she seems fine now after what had gone down. They all watch as Lincoln, Leslie and Delilah are talking to Jordan, and some of their other friends, and Sam then looks towards the others. "What do you guys think? Chatting about trusting his other friends again?"
Michelle nods. "It is obvious, I mean the other day Jordan did say that he should hear them out and make friends with them once more. They did help in trying to find out where those damned boys were, the ons who attacked Lincoln."
Luna then thinks about this. "Hmmm, well they can be forgiven and possibly be pals with Linc again, I know that they have learned their lessons and they wanna make amends and I think Lincoln will do the right thing and hear them out."
"Yet, there is one person who is a hard cookie to try and talk to or be friends with, and I think you guys know who I mean, right?" said Luna, this upsets Sam and Michelle, they know who she means.
"Well, Clyde is trying his best, but he seems to be planning his attempts to make amends with our kid, and that could make things into something else dumb and stupid and make Lincoln ticked off" replied Sam. "I mean, he did make that dumb plan to keep Lincoln away from the others and their fun."
"There might not be any chances for Lincoln Loud to forgive Clyde, or it might be a very slow process" replied Michelle. "For now, let them continue with what he has planned, in chatting with the others and making friends with them again." Luna and Sam nod, and they watch and wait for when Lincoln, Delilah and Leslie come back to enjoy this lovely afternoon.
With the others, Lincoln is hearing what the others are saying.
Jordan speaks first. "We know that things have turned from stupido dumb real fast, and we think that you should hear out what the others are saying, they did their part and helped try to find those who tried to kill you."
Jenny speaks next. "They didn't mean for what they did and they were caught into the damned stupid plan that Clyde made. They wanna be friends with you again, and they wanna make sure they don't make the same mistake when Clyde makes another dumb plan."
Artie speaks. "They learned their lessons and they don't wanna make trouble again, they wanna be friend with you again and they promise that they will make sure you will be part of the hang out fun, even if you cannot walk, they now know that you can take care of yourself."
Lincoln seems a little bit concerned about this and then he speaks. "Does sound compelling... You know what, I think that I can trust them again. I mean, they worked hard to make sure the boys who tried to kill me would be found, even though they never found out who they were."
"I think I was a little too much on them, and so the best options I can do now is make them my friends again. But one... One is not allowed to be even my friend until he manages to figure it out, and push away the past we once had when we were a couples name for some dumb reason."
They all know who he is talkin about, and then Lincoln continues to speak. "Yet, I need to hear him out and see what he has planned and try and sort out on what he can do to make things right, I can handle this guys. I might be on crutches when Clyde has his plan ready and set, but it's not gonna bring me down and not see what he has planned."
"Because I cannot stay mad at my friends or at Clyde forever, they have to make up for what went down when I was on the wheel chair and I wanna see all of this through before it gets even worse. Also, thanks again for this whole talk and stuff, I'll speak to the guys about this tomorrow at school."
Hassan nods and so do the others. "Anytime, man" replied Hassan. "We're glad to help make things better once again after so much of that chaos that unfolded. Let's hope everything will be calm and normal once more."
"You and me both, buddy." Lincoln then takes his leave, along with Leslie and Delilah back to the others to continue their picnic time, and their friends head off to do what they have planned for the day and yet some part of Jordan feels like that whatever plans Clyde has, might not end so well, she's hoping that her thoughts are wrong.
'Whatever Clyde McBride has planned, I can't get my eyes off of Lincoln when it happens, and that is a promise I don't intend to break.'
(Many Hours Later.)
We now see Michelle and her two adopted daughters, Delilah and Leslie are on the large lake and using swan rides to go around and have some mother and daughter's time, while Lincoln, Luna and Sam are back at the picnic area, and they lay down and watch the clouds go by, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Park.
Lincoln looks towards Luna and he smiles, and seeing the smile from her son warms her heart, and then he looks towards Sam and he smiles, and this too warms her heart to see their kid happy. This also reminds them of when Lincoln is turned into his baby form and how cheerful and happy he is to be with his two moms.
Luna and Sam then scooch closer and they embrace the white-haired boy and this makes him smile and feel safe with them. "Thanks for being here, and for doing the best you can to keep me safe, and though I will get hurt and we face odds that could be totally unexpected, what matters is that we're all together and we face these issues, together."
Luna smiles. "Like one big happy family."
Sam smiles. "A family that sticks together and has each other's back."
Lincoln chuckles. "Our future life, and possibly a Family of Three."
The trio then continue this calm and bonding moment, and dreaming of what could one day be, their Family of Three.
To be continued in the next chapter everyone.
A/N: Lincoln and Sam are recovered and they all enjoy a calm picnic time, and it seems like Lincoln Loud is ready to hear what his other pals have to say and soon he will accept whatever plans Clyde has for the duo. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
