Just a common bonding time, an idea from Luna Loud and Sam Sharp so they can hang out with Lincoln and bond some more, and also share some words about what had happened the other day, which is a complicated thing after what happened to Jordan. Enjoy reading this new chapter guys.

Chapter 556: A day of fishing and talking.

(May 28, The Loud House.)

Just another normal Saturday, and normally the louds would be spending some fun, and the ones doing that are Leslie and Delilah, and those two are already at Ketcham Park with their Pokémon, and they wanna see if they can try and help train them.

Meanwhile, Lincoln and Luna, and Sam are putting the stuff they got into Sam's blue truck, and the stuff they are loading are fishing stuff, from fishing rods all the way to lures and other necessary needs, such as some sandwiches.

As they are loading the stuff, they aren't aware that Lola and Lana have showed up and then they speak to them, well Lola starts first. "Hey guys, we were wondering if... Wait, are you guys gonna go fishing?"

Luna nods. "That we are, just some bonding time. Us and this kid over here." She then grabs Lincoln and embraces him, causing Lincoln to chuckle and return the embrace, and then Sam joins in.

Lola and Lana are touched to see just how well-bonded Lincoln, Luna and Sam are, and then they decide not to ask, even though, Lana wants to tag along as well, but she knows that this one is for a bonding time for Lincoln, Luna and Sam.

Lincoln then asks. "So, what the heck are you girls doing here?" He then hands Sam the picnic basket, and then he grabs the jar with bait.

Lola then speaks. "Nevermind, we'll ask another time." Lola and Lana then return to Lola's car and they drive off, and the Louds watch them leave, and even Harriet sees this as she leaves the house.

"Guys, I think they wanted to talk to Lincoln, and also apologize for what has happened days ago."

Sam sighs. "Well, after what went down with Bray Sheer, it's obvious that guilt is gonna be setting into all of the former louds, and it's not just gonna be them who are gonna wanna talk with Lincoln."

Lincoln nods. "I already know that too, I mean last night mom didn't even let me go when we slept next to each other. I already forgive you mom, it's all gonna be okay."

Luna sighs. "Yeah, I know, kiddo. But... It just feels so dumb and... I really still feel bad that a lot of mistakes we have done to you in the past is returning to attack us. The mistakes all of us Louds and former louds have made."

Lincoln goes over and he embraces her, and then she returns the hug and they share this small and yet emotional moment, and then Sam joins in on this. Watching this happen is Luan and she is at the other side of the street with her bike. She knows that the other former louds will wanna talk to them.

'Looks like Leni, myself and Lori will have to wait for next time. For now, let the younger former louds make up for some stuff. Even though we have been forgiven, we all feel like we haven't fully.'

(Tall Timbers Park.)

Here they are now, Lincoln Loud, Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, at the large lake in the middle of tall timbers park, and this lake is home to a lot of well-known fish, and even aquatic Pokémon. But the trio are just here to fish for... well, fish and using a small boat fit for three which they have rented.

Luna sighs and she takes in the peace and quiet, and then she sees Lincoln and Sam placing their fishing rods onto the holders and then they wait, and then Lincoln asks. "Mom's, are Pokémon gonna accidently get caught by us?"

Sam then rubs his head. "Calm down there, kiddo and be chill. Look, the ones who might get caught are water-types of fish-looking and Rowlet is here." they see Rowlet is asleep in one of the picnic baskets, and they chuckle seeing him like this.

Lincoln then looks towards his mother and then he asks her. "Mom, last night, what the heck were you dreaming about?" Even Sam wants to know what her nightmare was all about.

Luna then tells them since she knows that there is no way to get them to stop asking. "Alright, so the nightmare I had last night... it was... You left me and said that you didn't wanna have anything to do with me... You told me that you b-blame me for... For everything and I just..."

Without a second thought, Lincoln embraces her and he shed some tears and didn't like the nightmare his mother had. "No... N-No... I don't wanna leave you, I don't wanna blame you because... Because it was all never your fault, and I don't... Please, mom... don't think of me like that, it's all not your fault and I love you, very much."

Seeing her son like this and being emotional, Luna returns the hug and does what she can to comfort him and then Sam joins in on this moment. Sam knows that when Luna's love for her son is an even stronger bond than the ones they once had when they were brother and sister.

Watching this from afar is Lucy and she picks up her poetry journal and she sighs. 'Loons like I will need to make my plans to talk to Lincoln for another time, but that's alright with me. Luna and Lincoln need each other and... Wait, perhaps it is time to pull off the man with the plan stick from Lincoln's book, so that I won't be the only one who has to wait for a long while to speak to Lincoln.'

Lucy then sees that Lincoln, Luna and Sam have departed from the hug and are teaming up on the fishing rod of Sam, she got something and with their combined strength, they manage to reel in... A Shelder? The water-type Pokémon then leaps away and back into the water, and the trio chuckle and laugh at what they did.

Lucy smirks. "Have fun guys, and I hope they're boat trip is gonna be an awesome one." she then takes her leave, but then she sees this text from her phone, and it's from Haiku and Lucy becomes surprised. "Wait, Casket Con is coming here soon?"

(Time skip, at the Loud House.)

Luna and Lincoln are back home and they have dropped off the fresh fish they got, because Harriet wants to cook something she made along ago, a special fish dish that her son Albert loved to eat a lot, and they are planning to have Pop-pop and Gran-Gran to come along for dinner.

Lincoln and Luna are both in the backyard, and sitting next to each other under the shade of the tree, and then Lincoln looks to his mother and he kisses her cheek. This gets her attention and she looks towards her son.

"Mom, you didn't do much trouble to me in the past. You only did that stuff because you were falling in line with the whole sister hive mind thing, and... I won't keep bringing it up or holding it up onto you, because I care about you and I don't want you to feel upset from what happened so long ago."

"Also, you and the former sisters aren't the only ones who left behind a past that could come back to bite. I have done some bad stuff, and have made some bad company..." Lincoln wipes away some tears. "There is no reason to try and think that I would keep blaming you and the others and..."

"We all have baggage to carry, we all have mistakes that we made, we all have some bad history with some folks and hell, we have knocked off a cold shoulder on some bad company who became worse than before... Please, this is... don't think that it is all your fault, you and the others did trouble, but I don't wanna pin them all on you, mom."

Luna is also shedding some tears and she embraces her son, and so Lincoln does the same and he cries into her chest, he didn't like it when his mom felt bad for bad stuff in the past, because he would rather see her and the other former louds alright with the lives they have now, and despite not being related anymore... He would still see them as family, always.

Harriet sees this and she knows that life is getting harder and harder once more for everyone. 'I hope the boat trip this summer can help them ease the nerves. They could use it, after all... That musical tour is a dang mistake to be part of and glad they chose to cancel that.'

Harriet then sees her phone go off on the table and she sees the text from Lucy Shapiro. "What the heck is a casket con?"
