The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.
From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.
The Ruinverse: Chapter Eighty Eight, Finis Sententiae.

-Remnant, Grimmlands, Evernight Castle, Conference Hall-
Within the darkened halls of the dark purple crystal lined castle, past the circular brown double doors, the camera zoomed into a large black tiled room filled with purple stained glass windows, a dark purple rectangular table with six crudely constructed white wooden chairs wrapped with black straps, a large dark purple crystal throne lined white candles on the tips, a crudely made white wooden chandelier with dark purple crystals at the ends, and a large rectangular dark purple table behind the throne sporting white candles that gave the unfortunate souls that dared enter this place a foreboding presence.
Yet, surprisingly, there were occupants to this otherwise dreadful room.
These figures….were two ancient foes, both older than most civilizations ever formed on the planet and just as destructive when provoked.
For they were Salem, Queen of the Grimm and last of the sorceresses, and Ozpin, current host of Ozma, Salem's former husband and last of the wizards of old.
And currently...they were glaring at each other from their adjacent seats.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"I know this is….difficult for you." Ozpin said while currently sitting near the crystal throne, looking a little uncomfortable about Salem's glaring expression, for obvious reasons. "Given this is one of the…very rare times we actually meet up without-"
"Me killing you for basically lying to me, cheating me out of my own happiness and killing our children?" she interrupted with a harsh tone.
"Well….yeah, although the last part was on both of us." Ozpin said with a nervous chuckle. "But this meeting isn't about our past, or even your goal of self suicide…it's about a more pressing issue that threatens Remnant to its core."
The witch rolled her eyes while knowing that her former spouse's words had some truth to them, no matter how 'heroic' he tries to make himself sound. 'Forgot about his heroic tone of voice…ugh.'
"Salem, do you recall the White Fang?"
"Unfortunately, my minions keep telling me about their whereabouts for years, well until last week that is. Why?"
Ozpin sighed while rubbing the top of his cane with his left hand. "Well a couple of years ago, the White Fang sect under Sienna Khan's leadership formed a separate sect of its own, called the Brotherhood of Beasts."
"Oh yes...them. Tyrian once told me about them." Salem frowned. "An insane bunch of barbarians that think having the god's spark is a sign of weakness and destruction. But weren't they destroyed for their beliefs?"
"Yes, but apparently some of them survived."
"And trying to 'unlock the true potential of savagery', I take it?"
"Well...they were doing that." Ozpin said with a huff, making Salem's right eyebrow raise a little.
"Were? What do you mean by that?"
"..."
"Ozma, spill it."
"They have been eliminated."
"From your little Huntsmen no doubt."
"No, from one of their test subjects. The same one that has been rampaging across Remnant in a frenzy." Ozpin frowned. "And the same one that we both felt."
Salem's eyes widened for a fraction of a second before resuming their cold expression. "So the magical presence."
"Was from the Brotherhood of Beasts' experiments on sentient life forms. Unfortunately yes, and I unfortunately know who the person is."
"Then what are you waiting for? Get rid of them so we can finish our little shadow boxing match." the witch deadpanned while looking at her left hand, examining her fingertips for hangnails. "I might have all of eternity to finish up but my patience for this person is thin at best. More than my patience with you in fact."
"Charming." Ozpin deadpanned before giving a serious expression. "However, it's not that simple."
"They're mortal, it's always easy to kill them."
"Not when they have the ability to learn anyone's skills instantly."
Salem's eyes widened in shock as she turned towards her former spouse. "What?"
"You heard me, the Brotherhood of Beasts not only unlocked magic, which isn't supposed to be a thing after the brothers left, but they also made them able to learn skills that would take a lifetime to complete, in a single glance." the wizard sighed heavily. "From the reports Qrow gave me before his…untimely death, this individual's abilities allowed them to slaughter the Brotherhood and anyone else nearby, no matter who or what they are."
"So on top of having magic, this person has the ability to learn anything just by looking at it. This age of humanity is becoming a hazard for my health." Salem grumbled under her breath. "And let me guess, they are the reason why my minions were all slaughtered like common animals?"
"Along with my students and close allies, yes. But they also destroyed the other Kingdoms."
"So I've heard." she rolled her eyes. "I know that part because the good doctor showed me the flaming city of Mistral before the connection to his Scroll was cut abruptly."
Ozpin turned his head to face the far right window, the shattered moon looming over a dark purple sky. "They also killed the Maiden's."
And just like that, the witch turned to Ozpin in anger and horror.
"WHAT!?"
"It's true. They were all killed during the rampage."
"You let them KILL the Maidens, who hold the only connection to a better time!?"
"It wasn't my intention, she just so happened to learn how to kill them."
"She? Wait, this individual is a woman?" Salem asked while Ozpin nodded his head. "Just WHO is this person Ozma!? Just who is the one that stole the Maiden's powers, something I value not for their powers, but for what they represent."
'Our daughters, I know Salem. No matter how much I want to admit I still care for them as well...ugh, if this was a different time, maybe we could've talked about them again but no, this does not take precedence over the larger issue.' Ozpin thought before sensing something was wrong in the air and looked upwards. "We have company."
"I know, the magical energy is coming to Evernight, and closing in fast." Salem frowned while standing up. "The Grimm will stall her, possibly kill her too."
"I don't think they will even do that."
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
And just like that, a massive fireball shot through the walls of the conference hall, causing Salem to go flying onto the other wall as Ozpin held his ground via stabbing his cane into the tiled floor, smoke forming all around as a faint giggling sound could be heard from outside.
"Heh heh heh heh heh~"
"Ugh...what the?" Salem groaned while pulling herself out of the wall, her eyes filled with agitation.
"The Brotherhood's experiment." Ozpin said while pulling the cane out from the floor and began scanning the area. "Who is more than a match for the Grimm." 'Especially with all four Maiden powers at her disposal.'
"Heh heh heh heh heh~" the feminine voice chuckled, her tone laced with mania, as the smoke began to clear to reveal a large floating black boulder outside the castle.
And on said boulder was a tall pale skinned woman with long wavy dirty blond hair that trained down to her hips, dark purple eyes, a E cup chest and wide ass, wearing a tattered long sleeveless light blue gown that was torn near the stomach and an exposed back, long black bandages on her neck, arms, legs, and lower jaw that were stained with blood as several long bent gray needles were taped to them, a cracked gold wedding ring on her left ring finger, twenty large brown and black gun holster belts all around her hips, chest, lower legs, upper shoulders and stomach that seemed to be haphazardly stitched together and slightly larger or smaller than her own body, a long crimson red odachi with a black hilt in her mouth, and holding a large silver heart shaped hammer with several dark purple Gravity Dust shards taped to the bottom along with welded human spines around the staff in her right hand and a large heavily dented black and gold rotary cannon with pieces of black fabric hanging from the front and back of the magazine in her left hand, grinning maniacly at the two immortals as her eyes radiated with red, orange, white and yellow flame-like energy from her eyes and hands.
"Heh Heh heh heh heh heh~ Hello poppets~"
"Ozma, who is this?" Salem asked while narrowing her eyes at the woman.
"Saphron Cotta-Arc." Ozpin said while keeping an eye on the blonde's hands. "A member of the Arc family."
"...the what family?"
"The Arcs, the family of warriors that came about before the Great War."
"...eh?" Salem said with confusion. "Ozma, I've seen a lot of humans, they blend into each other. So be more specific."
"Then one with the high auras."
"..."
Ozpin groaned while making sure the blonde wasn't trying anything, or memorizing his tactics. "The ones with the very high birth rate."
"Oh! That one, huh, I haven't heard from them in a while." Salem said with realization as 'Saphron' stared at the two with a wide grin. "So she's part of that insane family of child birthers. And how many-"
"Seven, six girls and one boy."
"...not impressed. I saw their ancestors birthing more than fifty children at a time, I swear sometimes I feel like they are part rabbit." She grumbled before noticing the woman moving towards her, aiming her tattered rotary gun at her face.
BAM!
CLANG!
Only to hit a dark red magical barrier as Salem's hands glowed red.
"But this isn't the time for small talk. She is a threat to me and my plans and I don't appreciate such competition."
"She's a threat to the whole world." Ozpin deadpanned while his body glowed emerald green. "But you're right, no more small talk."
"Aw." 'Saphron' pouted while trying to break the barrier with the hammer, cracks forming along the edges of the circular barrier's surface. "But I enjoyed your conversation. A little fun before I slaughter you Brotherhood freaks!"
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
"Don't mistake me for those imbeciles." Salem growled before forming magic circles all around the floor, causing various Grimm arms and appendages to appear to grab Saphron and drag her down.
As the arms began to reach outwards towards their target, Ozpin noticed that her body was gaining a very faint dark purple aura, realizing that something wasn't right as he turned towards the witch.
"Wait, Salem don-"
ZOOP!
ZOOP!
ZOOP!
ZOOP!
Yet before the words could get out of Ozpin's lips, several black portals appeared all around Salem as multiple arms began to grab her.
"Ah! Get off me! I am your master here!" She yelled while momentarily distracted, not noticing Saphron's eyes glowing a bright multicolored hue. "Unhand-"
WOOOSH!
Jets of burning hot fire shot from the blonde's mouth as Salem was burned to a crisp, her clothes bursting into flames as Saphron moved closer to the 'corpse', only for Ozpin to flank her and used his cane to pull her back by the neck, causing her to drop her weapons in the process.
"Saphron Cotta-Arc, come back to your senses!" he yelled while the woman tried to pull the cane off her neck, which became tighter with every second.
"Gah! Let go!" she growled before bashing his face with the back of her head, causing him to stumble as several ice swords formed around her body and shot towards him.
SWOOSH!
BAM!
"You will pay for that one." Salem growled while her body started to regenerate, faint wisps of fire trailing from her right palm as she quickly rushed towards the woman and grabbed her by the neck.
BOOOOOOM!
CRACK!
And threw her right onto the floor, the tiles cracking from the enhanced strength as Saphron's face became coated in blood.
"STAY DOWN WETCH!"
Ozpin groaned before noticing that some of his aura was flickering in and out of reality, seemingly shattered yet…still here. 'What the? I only got hit once yet I feel a little exhausted.'
"Heh heh hehehehehehehehehe~"
"What's so funny?" the witch frowned as Saphron giggled like a schoolgirl, making her confused and slightly unnerved by her lack of fear.
"Hehehehehehehehehehehehehe~ Oh I'm just thinking about a little old nursery rhyme from somewhere, no idea what or where, and it's funny~" she giggled while her dark purple aura seemed to glow brightly as Salem's body began to feel….weak. "Want to hear it beasty?"
'What…how?' she thought as she began to stumble, her grip on the blonde's neck loosening as the intruder slowly rose from her spot on the floor. 'How am I feeling…tired?'
"Itsy bitsy Death Stalker went up the mountain top." Saphron sang while cracking her neck a little, loud popping echoing across the room as Ozpin realized what was going on and tried to run towards her, only for several Grimm Arms to appear from the ground and attempt to pull him into the inky darkness. "Up came the Huntsmen and flushed the Death Stalker off."
"Ah! Salem, get up before she touches you! She's stealing our magic!"
Salem's eyes widened before finding herself lifted off the ground by her assailant's arms and squeezed tightly around the waist by both arms, her strength fading away as Saphron's aura began to glow even brighter. "GAH!"
"Down went the moon and scared the man away." she grinned while squeezing even tighter, Salem's body slowly turning to ash in the process. "And the itsy bitsy Death Stalker."
"Salem!" Ozpin yelled while pulling himself out of the dark abyss and rushed towards Saphron.
CRUNCH!
"Crawled up the mountain again~" She giggled as Salem's body faded into nothingness, golden particles forming around the blonde as Ozpin tackled her to the ground. "Ow! That hurt, and right in the middle of my big finale!"
"This needs to end Saphron! If you keep killing everyone on Remnant's surface then you'll doom yourself!"
"I'm not this Saphron person." She frowned before kicking Ozpin off her body, sending him flying towards the throne and shattered one of the crystals, causing shards to be lodged in his eyes and bleeding nose.
"AH!" He screamed out in pain as his aura felt faint along with his limited magical powers, Long Memory's magical power flickering green every few seconds as 'Saphron' moved towards the 'Infinity Man'.
"It's Naluri." she said while grabbing his cane, the magical power getting absorbed into her body, before stabbing the cane right through Ozpin's throat. "And now, it's time to die~"
"A…g..h..g….a..." the headmaster gasped in pain, blood spurting from his lips, as he felt his body becoming weaker by the minute, his right hand grasping a broken shard of crystal within his fingertips. 'I…can't let her get my powers…or Remnant will fall.'
"Mmmm, Blood Ravager or Ball Crusher? What would be a fun and entertaining death for a Brotherhood scum like you~?" Naluri said out loud before Ozpin quickly spun around.
SQUISH!
And stabbed her right in the right eye, causing her to blink as the pain…didn't seem to register at all.
"...ow?" she said with a curious tone as she pulled the crystal out of her eye, the wound healing instantaneously as Ozpin felt his blood freeze in place. "It didn't hurt? Huh, neat."
SQUISH!
BAM!
CRUNCH!
And within the span of a few seconds, Naluri pulled out the cane from Ozpin's neck and bashed him on the head so hard that his skull cracked from the impact as his weapon broke into a thousand pieces.
KATHUMP!
As the body fell upon the tiled floor, blood gushing from the body as a faint white aura rose from the body before suddenly dissipating into oblivion, the intruder smirked as she giggled to herself.
"Another win for me, and another loss for the Brotherhood~!" Naluri said to herself as her eyes glowed a bright golden green color, causing her to blink as she felt…different for some reason. "Huh, ok…pretty colors. And…wait, is that a wall?"
Looking upon the screen with confusion, she began studying it, cocking her head from side to side as she noticed the 'wall' was see-through and apparently harder than diamond.
"..."
Knock.
Knock.
Twang!
Twang!
"...huh. This is kinda…freaky, I can't get it to break." she muttered while rubbing her chin. "And there are a lot of Brotherhood bastards over there too…..mmmmmm, what to do, what to do?"
As she thought to herself, a sudden idea entered her mind like a thunderbolt.
"Wait, if I can see them then maybe I can break the wall? Yeah, I just need some new skills, oh and those last guys left me with some nifty ideas in my noggin too." she grinned before pointing to the screen. "Hey asshole beasts, I'll find a way to get into that laboratory and once I do. BAM! Dead as a doornail! HAHAHA!"
The screen began to fade to black as Naluri cackled in the background, her glowing eyes remaining fixated on the viewer's direction before finally fading away.

Semblance(s): Kopeeri (an extremely dangerous semblance that allows the user to instantly learn, adapt and copy the skills and abilities of others after seeing it done once. If the user can't utilize an ability due to certain criteria hampering them, the semblance will purge unwanted 'data' from the user's mind to compensate. In theory, the user can utilize the semblance to absorb magical energies from nearby sources, however, it requires a lot of aura and the purging of unwanted 'data' to do so, which can leave the user in a vegetative state if used incorrectly. Has a very high chance of creating a harmful personality within the user's mind.)
Bio: In this timeline, the White Fang organization was more fractured than in normal Ruinverse or RWBYverse timelines, creating a separate splinter cell within Sienna Khan's version of the White Fang known as the Brotherhood of Beasts. Unlike most members of the White Fang, this 'sect' were unhinged yet loyal to those that shared in their beliefs, consolidating in the belief that neither the humans or the faunus were the problem in the equation of equality, but the gift of sentience that the God of Animals gave their ancestors in the distant past was the true culprit to all the injustices brought upon both sides of the 'war'. In their minds, the idea of sentience in both humans and faunus is too seductive to continue existing and that living a more 'primitive lifestyle', with only the natural instincts of a beast guiding them, the division between the two species would cease to exist and true equality would be achieved. For their places to succeed, they needed to crack the genetic code of both humans and faunus, thus locating the genetic 'kill switch' for sentience and distributing the 'cure' to everyone under the name Project BEAST…but due to their unethical practices and heretical ideologies, both Sienna Khan and Ghira Belladonna branded them heretics and began hunting them down, to prevent such a catastrophe from occurring. Hundreds were either killed or jailed for their crimes, yet a select few of the Brotherhood of Beasts survived and hid in the Anima port city of Argus to avoid the wrath of the White Fang and continue their experimentations in secret. During the five years of experimentation, various test subjects were either taken off the streets or willingly joined for the chance at a 'better' life without worry, which included Saphron Cotta-Arc, who was stolen away during a trip to the supermarket and forced into the experiments against her will. While the other subjects all perished from the experiments, Saphron continued to persevere against death, sparking interest within the Brotherhood, thinking that due to her status as an Arc, she could actually hold the key to the destruction of sentience itself. In an attempt to harness the 'power' of the Arcs, the Brotherhood tested a special serum on her, called Compound B-89, an experimental concoction of various unknown and disgusting elements and DNA fragments that, in theory, would cause the subject to lose all higher brain function and turn them into feral animals that have unlocked their 'true potential'. However, when Saphron was injected with the serum, the effects….went in a different direction as instead of turning off her higher brain functions, it instead unlocked the wrong genetic code, the long dormant 'on switch' for utilizing magic, which when combined with the Arc's unusually high aura levels, caused her to gain more magic than either Salem or Ozpin combined…however it also caused her to gain amnesia. Unable to remember anything from her past, her mind began to create a new personality, called Naluri, one formed from her new semblance called Kopeeri, which can copy the knowledge and skills of others at the cost of 'deleting' old memories that are deemed useless, that began to overtake Saphron's blank mind and enforced it's own cold and mania fueled will upon her. With these new skills and the unnatural ability to adapt to any situation, she escaped the Brotherhood and slaughtered them all, deeming them a threat to her own warped version of 'justice', before attacking and killing all in her path, believing everyone was a member of the Brotherhood of Beasts and thus unworthy of living. For the next two years, 'Saphron' would kill and obtain new abilities to use in her blood frenzied attacks, at the cost of losing all the memories of her previous life, as she murdered the Seasonal Maidens, destroyed the Four Kingdoms and brought both the faunus and humans to near extinction. In a desperate bid to stop her, Salem and Ozpin decided to work together to put an end to her, yet this was for not as during the battle, 'Saphron' used her semblance's power, one that can absorb the nearest magical energies at the cost of losing her higher brain functions if performed incorrectly, to absorb and take the powers of the immortals, becoming the strongest immortal being on the planet. In the aftermath of the battle, 'Saphron', her magical powers now eclipsing all others in her timeline, gained the ability to see beyond the confines of her reality, beyond the fourth wall itself, and with a new goal in mind, she decides to find a way to break free from her universe, just to slaughter the Brotherhood once more…at the cause of the viewers themselves. A sad fate for one pure soul caught in a crazy plot of madness….but hopefully her plans won't work….right?
Hello poppets~
I'll see you all soon, hahaha!
