Aftermath from what happened, and we are gonna see that there is gonna be a serious talk between Luna Loud, Sam Sharp and of course, Lincoln Loud and what he read, and how they wanna lay down some new rules for him, while somethin else is going down when Lucy speaks with the others and that they need to change their plans to speak with their former brother. Chapter 561: A talk with two moms.
(June 4. The Loud House.)
Saturday, and we see Lincoln is at the living room and he is not alone, he is joined by his mom Luna, and his second mom figure, Sam Sharp, and they come with the donuts they bought earlier, Krispy Kreme, and they place them onto the table, alongside the chocolate milk.
"Wow, these donuts look so delicious. But, what the heck is the occasion?" Lincoln then takes one of the donuts and he enjoys eating it.
Luna is about to answer her son, but then she sees Michelle, Delilah, Leslie and Harriet and they look like they have something to do for the day. Luna then asks. "Where the heck are you guys going?"
Harriet. "Albert, well your Pop-pop said that someone has been deceased and the will has gone missing and so I shall help them find it before the old coots family arrive."
Michelle. "Leslie and I are headed for the mall, her friends are there and so are Leni and Luan. So, this is just gonna be a usual shopping day, and also my day off."
Leslie. "Jordan is also gonna be there, so it's gonna be a very interesting shopping time, and also looking for anything else that could make my date night with Stella to be something else more awesome."
Delilah. "I made contact with the FutureTech guys and they have informed me that they wanna meet at the outpost and talk about what I was asking from them, someone who can teach me and Adelaide something a little more than just karate."
Luna nods. "Well, alright then. Have fun guys." they watch as the others take their leave, and then Luna looks to her son, and Sam nods and so she responds to the question before. "Lincoln, we wanna talk about what had gone down last night and I think you know what we mean, right?"
Lincoln then stops eating and he recalls that one. "Oh, that one. Right, and I assume that Sam knows too, right?"
Sam nods. "Yeah, I know. Luna told me and I am concerned about you kiddo. Those books may have been interesting and all, but it doesn't seem right if you are just gonna end up having nightmares. We don't wanna see you reading such books again."
"Last night, you wouldn't wanna let go of me. Heck, you even wanted me to come with you when headed to the bathroom because you were afraid of a ghost coming down the hallway and searchin for her coins, or this corpse looking for his big toe" replied Luna. "It made me so concerned, and the way you panicked in your sleep... I can tell that the nightmares got a little worse, am I right?"
Lincoln looks away and he remains silent, fiddling with his fingers and afraid of being scolded, but then Sam speaks. "Linc, we're not angry with you. Heck, we wanna lay down the fact that those books are not good for you, and we're understanding that you were curious to read them, despite the fact you said that you could handle them and that they weren't scary, when clearly they are scary combined with creepy."
Luna then places a hand on her son's shoulder. "Linc, tell us... What as the nightmare that you had? Tell us, and we can make things better, please."
Lincoln felt like he shouldn't but he knows that there would be no getting out of this mess, and he didn't wanna make his mom or Sam feel even more concerned, and so Lincoln Loud tells them about his nightmare.
"Alright, so last night in the nightmare. I was headed home, and I was wondering where you were. Then I saw your car at the front of the garage and blood was dripping from it. I thought that something bad had happened, but all I saw was this man with a knife and dead, and he looked like a truck driver."
"So, I went into the house to hide from what I saw, and then I saw that the couch was occupied by this big black dog, and the dog looked almost like it was decaying and barking at the fireplace, and the fireplace had this head rolling down the chimney and then it screamed at me and I ran for it."
"I entered the kitchen and saw this large and scary pale lady there, and she reached out for me and she wasn't alone. A fancy suit with no head was hanging on the hangar and the limbs were still attached and also reaching for me... t-tried to make a run f-for it, but then I tripped over a severed b-big toe."
"Then I heard a creepy voice calling for where his toe was, and I know what it was and then I made a run for it, and then I saw the scarecrow known as Harold trying to break through the window and hopping towards me with a pitch fork... But I escape, but he grabbed my shoe and almost stabbed me."
"Then I made it up the stairs, but there were so many spiders, and a scream coming from the linen closet, and then I saw the door open and a body was hanging and it looked like Sam! Then a dark shadowy ghost appeared and was coming for me, but then mom showed up and brought me back to the bedroom."
"Mom told me to calm down and asked how the stories went, and I was confused, but then... Then I saw her face and she..." Lincoln looks to his shaking hands, and then he looks to the now concerned Luna. "You had n-no face, and you're eyes were... C-Coins and you yelled at me that this was all my f-fault, and then a ghostly woman was crying for her missing coins..."
"She came into the room, and she t-took you away and then... Then the monsters were all around me and they all... they a-all..." Lincoln didn't wanna continue, and Luna and sam can see that it has gone too far and so they go over and embrace Lincoln and try to calm him down.
Luna sees that she was right, those books have gotten into her son's head, and he cannot be able to slee right after what he had read, and Luna needs to do something about this. Luna and Sam look to each other, and they both didn't like what has become of Lincoln, they didn't want him to be scared.
So, Luna and Sam remain in this embrace with Lincoln, until he is calmed down.
Soon, Lincoln does stop crying and they depart from the hug. "Mommy, Sam. I'm sorry about what I did... I never should've read the books... I-I'm sorry... I am so..."
"No, no. Calm down, and look at me." Luna then sees the scared and sad look on her son's face and so she wipes away his tears. "No more tears now, kiddo. Linc, last night was a hard thing for you to handle, and I don't wanna watch you go through it again."
"You aren't in trouble, but Sam and I have some new rules and one of them involves with what you are becoming curious about. So, if you do end up encountering something that you have become curious to, then message either myself or Sam and then we can look deeper into more of what you wanna check out, and I am also aware that there is a move based on the book that you have been reading."
Lincoln didn't like that. "I understand mom and Sam, and I don't plan to watch this movie... I didn't like what my nightmare gave me..." He then embraces Sam, to which she returns the hug as well.
"Take it easy now, buddy. We're here for you, and those nightmares will soon be gone, but if you cannot sleep well tonight, then I'm gonna be here to comfort you. Luna said its fine and so are my 'rents. How does that sound Linc?"
Lincoln doesn't respond, but she can feel him nod, and then she rubs his hair and kisses his forehead, and then Luna joins in this embrace, and they do what they can to calm down Lincoln, as if the bad luck ordeal scarring him was bad enough, it looks like he's gonna have another one, and based off of some scary books he read.
Luna knows that this is gonna be a while for her son to be calm again, and she needs to talk to Lucy and tell her about this, and she knows that she will understand that Lincoln must never ever read those books ever again.
Sam then has an idea. 'Wait, I recall that our counterparts have connections with actual dinosaurs, as in living dinosaurs. Perhaps some time to see some large reptiles would be good for Lincoln, but I will need to make some calls for that to happen, and that is straight from the start, Michelle Lewis Loud.'

A gathering has taken place here, and the ones who have come here are the former Louds. Lucy, Leni, Lori, Luan, Lana, Lola and Lisa. All of them are enjoying the milk and cookies, and then Lucy speaks. "Thank you all for coming and I know that you all have a lot of questions..."
"Does this have something to do with Lincoln?" asked Luan. They all show that they are concerned and this surprises Lucy.
"Wait, how the heck did you guys know?"
Lori then speaks. "This is literally about him ever since the whole bully attack and frame towards Jordan ordeal, we were already at our own plans on talking to him about the stuff we have done long ago."
Leni then asks. "So, what did you talk about to Lincoln?"
Lucy sighs and then she tells them. "We talked about what I have done, the many things that ii have done which I feel bad about for not being there for him when he needs some sister to back him up, such as the whole princess pony thing, but the bad luck stick has to be the worst thing we have ever done."
They all feel bad, recalling that one. "Believe me, Lucy. We are still at that problem and wanna talk about that towards Lincoln, despite the fact he is looking fine and alright, he's bound to be havin problems with that memory" replied Lola.
Lucy then speaks. "And that is why, you all need to back off and not talk to him about the past. Because he already forgives us, we just need to forgive ourselves, he explained it to me after we had a hug and I haven't had that from him in a long, long time. I missed his hugs." the other former louds also agree.
Lana then asks. "So, what do we do now?"
Lucy then explains some more. "Leave him be. If you all come over and talk to him about many mistakes that you wanna make amends about, chances that his head will be overwhelmed by such mentions that he could snap and things might not go so well, and I know Lori has a lot to share, am I right?"
Lori sighs. "She is not wrong, I have done a lot of stuff that doesn't seem right for a big sister such as myself." Lori mostly recalls the whole ordeal when she forced her brother to go on this double date, when Lincoln and Ronnie Anne didn't even like each other, and they never did.
Lisa then speaks. "If you think this is the best plan, then we shall accept it. We are with you, Lucy." the others also agree, and are going to steer clear and let things carry on as they should be, before they might make a mistake and cause Lincoln to lose it.
Lucy sighs in relief and she is glad at what she did, and then she realizes what she just did when she gathered all the former Louds. 'Wow. Looks like I have just pulled a page off of Lincoln's book in planning and meetings. He is a good role model.'

A/N: After what happened, it does seem right for Lincoln to stay away from such scary/creepy books. Thankfully Sam is there, and she will help them as best she can and the former louds are just gonna back off from telling Lincoln how they feel from long ago, they just need to try and forgive themselves.
