The screen began to bubble and boil as the familiar silver door rose from it's depths, the thick purple chains corroding and breaking apart as the door opened up and bathed everything in dark purple.

From the tainted light, came a single red eye that glared at the screen before the door slammed shut and everything became static, a crumbling rose symbol appearing every so often as the title began to form.

The Ruinverse: Chapter One Hundred and Three, The Sick Rose.

-Remnant, Sanus, Vale, Valeian Docks-

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

The sound of great cargo ships bellowed across the gray concrete docks as the camera zoomed down towards the left hand side of the shipping yard, several large cranes looming over a dark white freighter with the name 'KA Andromeda' painted on its port side.

Yet not all was calm or tranquil as, besides the rotting fish smell that permeated the riverside ports, as near the metallic railing was a...very familiar criminal mastermind walking up the gangway towards the deck with a smug expression on their face.

"Ah, the perfect plan. Just walk up, get the Dust, sell it, get enough lien to finance a small island for life and I'm out of this dump before you can say 'Roman Torchwick strikes again!'." the man said while twirling his cane in his left hand. "And no animals or stupid wannabe assassins with a flame bitch to ruin my day. Seriously, why was I so afraid of her? She was a loon with no common sense, yeah sure she had a weird semblance but man, I didn't expect her to be a total snub." 'That and dying while in the bathroom, crude but hilarious after the fact! Oh, I wish I had her fearful face on video.'

Clank.

Clank.

Clank.

"Now, to my payday-"

"HOLD IT!"

'Fuck! What now!?' he thought while turning around, coming face to face with...a trio of girls, all with weapons and looking a little pissed off for some reason, well the main one that is, he could tell the other two were more nervous than their 'leader'. "Oh great, a Schnee, a cat girl and a bimbo. Sorry girls but I'm not a pimp. So go on, shoo! I'm bus-"

"WHERE'S RUBY!" the 'bimbo' yelled in anger, pointing her left index finger at Roman's direction.

"Eh?"

"Where. Is. MY. Sister!?"

"...again, eh?" he said with confusion, an eyebrow raised as he felt slightly annoyed by this sudden change in plans. "Look girl, I'm very busy here so just go look elsewhere for your sister."

"Like hell I'm not!"

"Plus you're trying to steal Dust from the SDC, my family company." the white haired girl said while pointing her rapier at the man. "So I must ask you to leave before Team YBW makes you leave."

"YBW? That's the name?" Roman said with a slightly amused face. "That sounds so stupid! I mean, don't you Huntsmen guys usually have four initials in the name?"

"It was Ozpin's idea." the faunus said with a deadpan expression as she pulled out her blade. "But it was Yang's idea to stop you now. Right after you tell us where Ruby Rose is."

Roman grumbled while internally thinking that this was just stupid, maybe even pathetic that these girls could even stop him at this point. "So you want to stop me? Really? A couple of rookies think they can stop me from getting rich? That's just dumb, and I'm looking at you blonde."

"Oi!" Yang growled while her eyes turned crimson red. "I am not dumb and you WILL tell me where my sister is right now!"

"And we will stop you from taking Schnee family owned Dust!" the Schnee said while the faunus' ears twitched behind her bow. "It's my legacy after all!"

Wooosh!

'A gust of wind?' she thought while noticing a figure moving behind one of the nearby shipping containers, along with the sound of clanking metal. 'And….heels? No, it sounds like a log on a tiled floor. Just who showed up?'

Clunk.

Clunk.

Clunk.

The group turned towards the direction of the clanking as Roman smirked with joy, as if he knew who the figure was.

"Ah, Barbara. Nice to see you finally come to help your old man." he said while Yang's eyes widened in shock and horror. "I take it you got rid of the 'unnecessary' distractions on your way here?"

Clunk.

Clunk.

Clunk.

'No...it...it can't be...' Yang thought, her precious determination extinguished like a candle as the figure moved into the broad daylight, her fists clenched tightly from her slowly bubbling stress and anger. 'It can't be!'

Lo, for in front of nearby shipping container, a tall fair skinned young woman with short shoulder length black hair sporting thick red tips, silver eyes with red flame-like eyeshadow around the sides, white oshiroi-like foundation on her face, small circular eyebrows with orange eyeliner, a B cup chest and wide ass, red lipstick, wearing a semi light weight silk and leather infused black hikizuri sleeveless kimono with short elbow length rectangular detachable sleeves that were attached to the shoulders by orange metallic string, a straight triangular flame-like collar with three red stripes, deep orange flame-like patterns on the sleeves, skirt, trail and stockings, a wide form fitting sleeveless metallic gray and orange bodice with thin red strings, ten long black necklaces with several orange magatama beads dangling from them, a large dull orange and black wicker woven jingasa kasa with several long gold encrusted jade pins on the sides along with a silver jack-o-lantern emblem on the right side, two silver rings on her thumbs with a single Fire Dust shard etched into its center, a long orange darari obi with metallic straps on the back that trailed around her waist and was tied in a double knot over her right shoulder, a square orange leather bag attached to the left side of the obi, a silver jack-o-lantern emblem on her upper right shoulder, four black leather bands with several bullets attached to them by orange pockets on her lower thighs, dark silver laced silk panties with a orange jack-o-lantern emblem in the center, a V-cut skirt that went down to her knees and exposed her thighs and panties, a two long black rectangular trails that went down her ass to her ankles, thick orange and red rayon stockings that were attached to the panties by silver garters sporting jack-o-lantern emblem-like buttons and large black metallic okobo sporting a large silver block-like sole that encompassed the entire foot and was held in place by fur orange straps near the ankles and strap, appeared from the shadows with a calm yet arrogant smirk on her face as she held a massive red and black crescent scythe in her left hand, seemingly ready for anything as she waved to the criminal mastermind with her free arm.

"Just got the last guard dad." she said with a very chip voice as Yang noticed that her scythe was covered in fresh blood. "And it's Bara, not Barbara. We went over this before."

"Oh yes, the nickname right." Roman said while internally groaning at that as he pointed in Team YBW's direction. "Bara, as you can see we have some would-be Huntsmen trying to take me to jail, or try to at any rate."

She turned towards the three Huntresses in Training and blinked before turning back towards the criminal. "Kinda wet behind the ears for a team of three brats right?"

"That's what I thought-"

"RUBY!?" Yang yelled in disbelief. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

"Ruby? Like the gemstone?" 'Bara' said with a raised eyebrow. "Huh, cute but I don't like rubies, more of a sapphire kinda girl. Although if you want to be specific, I'm a Dust gal. Love the stuff." 'And killed the owner of that tacky Dust shop down a few ports. I mean seriously, that old man didn't stand a chance hitting me with a broom.'

"No! Not that!" the blonde groaned while looking at the Schnee. "Do something!"

"Like what? You're the one that knows Ruby, not me."

"Damn it Weiss! Blake-"

"I don't know either." she said before seeing Yang's glaring red eyes staring back at her, causing both the W and B of Team YBW to flinch in fear.

"You're ALL stupid! Gods damn it!"

'Huh, ruling her team with fear. Interesting.' Roman thought before smirking. "Bara dear, please have some 'fun' with the intruders."

The girl smirked while pointing her scythe towards the team, the blood dripping onto the concrete as she giggled a little. "So I can kill them?"

"After you bleed them dry. But." he said while lighting a cigar with his dark gray lighter. "First, get the animal and the Schnee. I want to have a talk with the bimbo that was oh so rude to me."

SHING!

"OK!" Bara yelled with a sadistic grin as her entire body was covered in rose petals.

WOOOSH!

Weiss and Blake's eyes widened as a red blur appeared in front of them, the curved blunted end of a scythe formed from the blur.

BAM!

"AH!"

"OOF!"

And hit both of them in the stomachs as Bara appeared and used her scythe's tip to grab them by their sides as she sent them flying across the docks.

"I hope you last longer than the fire bitch!" she cackled before vanishing in a cloud of petals, leaving a shocked Yang and smirking Roman alone near the freighter.

"Ah, they grow up so fast." Roman chuckled.

As Yang saw her team preparing for a counterattack, the sounds of crackling glyphs and gunfire being deafened by the sounds of passing ferries, she attempted to run towards the battle to support her 'friends'.

BAM!

Only to jump back from an explosion near her feet, thanks in part to Roman's cane firing a blast of Burn Dust at her.

"Don't even try it blondie." he said while the end of his cane was emitting a faint puff of smoke.

Yang growled with anger as she turned around, only to see the cane pointed at her head. "You sick little!"

"Name calling won't help here. Especially when I'm the only one that can keep my daughter from killing your team...well it might still happen but that all depends on you NOT trying to run off." he said with a calm yet cocky voice. "So what's it going to be? Run off or listen to the teacher?"

"Grrrrrrrr!"

"No need to growl, we can all be civil about this."

"Oh cut the crap!" Yang growled while her mind was furious, filled with anger towards the criminal mastermind as her eyes seemingly glowed red like hot coals. "I have every right to growl or punch you into the next century after what you did to Ruby! So spill it, WHAT. DID. YOU. DO. TO. HER!?"

DOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

DOOOOOOOOOON!

BAM!

SLASH!

BAM!

BAM!

The sounds of battle echoed in the ears of the brawler and criminal as they didn't move or even speak, the tension so thick it could be cut by a knife.

Yet, that tension finally broke as Roman began to chuckle and then outright laugh like a madman as Yang's eyes narrowed in anger.

"What's so funny you bastard!?"

"Ahaha…aha..ah…ha…ah ah..ha…oh…ha. Ha, gods. I finally connected the dots and boy, this is so ironic." he said while wheezing a little, his lungs still hurting from the intense laughter he just experienced. "Your Ruby is the same one that I met a few months back."

"You mean the day she vanished getting Dust? Yeah! And now MY sister is trying to kill my team and called you 'dad'. So spill it you asshole, what did you do to her!?" she growled while her armbands transformed into gold gauntlets as she pointed them at the man. "Tell me now!"

"Oh that, nothing much." Roman said with a shrug, a dark smirk forming across his face. "Just whacked her on the head with Melodic Cudgel and sent her flying into a pole."

"...what!?"

"Yep. And color me surprised when, after I took her back to 'headquarters' for a little ransoming, she came to, with absolutely no idea who she was at all." he said while putting his cane down and leaned against it, his smirk unnerving Yang while simultaneously pissing her off even more. "Besides having her skills, Little Red was like a waking Atlesian Knight, dumb, naive and easy to convince."

"You-"

"Not done speaking." he interrupted with a frown before turning his back to the woman. "Anyway, I fed her a little story about how she was my daughter and how she was 'beaten to death' by Spider operatives in Anima. The brat fell for it, hook line and sinker, and you know what the best part of it is? I had her turned into the greatest assassin in this city, gave her anything she wanted and taught her my little mantra, 'you have to lie, to cheat, to steal and to survive at any cost'."

CLANK!

CLANK!

"GAH!" Roman gasped while Yang grabbed him by the neck and began squeezing hard against his adam's apple.

"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" she yelled while trying, with some hesitation and restraint, to NOT kill the man right there and then with her bare hands, her rational mind wanting information on how to fix her sister's condition. "You little shit! You turned my innocent sister into an assassin!?"

"G-Gah…ahh." he gasped in pain as Yang slowly loosened her grip, allowing him to breathe once more, although for some reason, he wasn't frowning or glaring at the blonde.

Instead…he was smirking at her.

"Even now you act like you're the winner here!? I'm THIS close to strangling you and yet you're smirking at me! WHY!? Why are you happy about this!?"

"Simple...blonde. I won in the long run." he said with a forced chuckle of pain. "I'm the greatest criminal mastermind in the entire world yet I can't live forever. So having turned a 'do-gooder' into my 'daughter' helps me cement my claim to infamy."

Yang narrowed her eyes as she continued to hold back her darker emotions, something she had trouble with for months, even when surrounded by her...'friends', no, her associates. "Tell me how I can get her memories back!"

"Amnesia isn't like turning a Scroll on and getting the data back. It's much more complicated." he chuckled while he heard the sounds of his 'daughter's semblance in the air, followed by the rapid succession of explosive bullets. "She might get her memories back or she won't. But after all the time we had together, why would she get them back?"

"She's MY sister! We have been living together for years!"

"And if I tell her the sky is pink and the moon is made of cheese, she will listen to me. That's the jist of it, she will never listen to a 'stranger' like you." Roman said with a mocking tone, not realizing that Yang's self restraint was slowly crumbling under his 'masterful' words. "She is the Scourge of Vale, my personal assassin and my heiress to the soon to be Torchwick family name. What else can I ask for in a dutiful 'daughter' that I was so lucky to meet that day in the Dust shop."

Yang narrowed her eyes in rage as her body was on the verge of releasing her pent up aggression, created from months of searching, intimidating others and hardly resting more than thirty minutes a day.

Yet…she tried to be the better person, she wasn't a killer, she wasn't a Branwen like her mother.

No, she was a leader of Team YBW, she needed to set an example for them…even if she berated, insulted, lashed out and nearly beat the living shit out of on a weekly basis. She wasn't perfect, not even close, but…she needed to be strong for Ruby's sake.

She needed to not let anything else from Roman's mouth affect her. Nothing at-

"You know." Roman said with a dark smirk and a twinkle in his eyes. "I can't just let you tell 'Bara' about all of the stuff I said, but I also see the raw potential in you. So...why not repeat the 'accident' with you? Who knows, I might get another 'daughter' out of the mess and get you and 'Bara' introduced to my line of thinking."

WOOOSH!

CRASH!

CRUNCH!

"GAH!" Roman screamed in pain as he was thrown across the dock and into the side of a shipping container, a human sized indentation forming from the collision as several bones broke upon impact along with a small amount of his own blood oozing from the sides of his lips.

"YOU!" Yang roared with fury, her semblance fully activated as she ran towards the criminal and punched the man right through the metal wall with her right fist, followed by punching him through several more walls of metal with both her hands as the sounds of broken bones could be heard amidst the battle cries of 'Bara' and Team YBW in the distance. "SICK! FUCKING! MONSTER!"

BAM!

CRUNCH!

KABAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

"AAAAAH!" Roman screamed before colliding with the base of a crane, denting the thick steel base a little as he couldn't feel any of his limbs. "AAAAH! My arms! MY legs! My LIM-"

KACRUNCH!

Pain.

Unimaginable pain…was all Roman felt as Yang, her right leg right on top of his pelvis…had done the one thing that no one, not even seasoned Huntsmen, would ever attempt on a non auraless person like him.

Break his entire pelvis…with all the bone and vital organs that went with it.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the man screamed in absolute pain as Yang took initiative and shattered his legs with her right leg, making the anguished cries rise in decibels.

"OH SHUT UP!" The blonde snapped while grabbing his legs and slammed him against the concrete like a hammer, more bones breaking in the process as she used her gauntlets to fire point blank bullets into his legs and arms, sending them flying off their sockets and onto the ground. "YOU DON'T KNOW THE MEANING OF MY PAIN! THE ANGUISH OF YOU FUCKING UP MY SISTER'S LIFE!"

WOOSH!

CRASH!

"YOU TURNED MY BABY SISTER INTO A MONSTER!" she roared while throwing Roman against another storage container, the blood and bits of flesh sticking to the metallic walls as she began to kick the man hard in the chest and face. "YOU MADE HER SUFFER WITH YOUR LIES!"

POW!

POW!

CRUNCH!

CRUNCH!

"SHE WAS MY SISTER! SHE WAS THE ONLY THING I HAVE LEFT! SHE WAS MY EVERYTHING AND YOU RUINED HER! YOU CORRUPTED HER YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Yang snapped with fury as teeth and blood splattered on her clothes, her face now coated in a thick layer of blood as she kicked the man onto the ground and stomped her left foot on his head. "AND AS HER BIG SISTER AND MOTHER FIGURE, I SENTENCE YOU TO DEATH!"

STOMP!

STOMP!

STOMP!

STOMP!

CRUNCH!

The sounds of gunfire and battle suddenly stopped in the distance as Roman's cries of pain were silenced forever by Yang's foot…yet…she didn't stop.

STOMP!

STOMP!

STOMP!

CRACK!

SPLAT!

Brain matter and bone fused itself upon the concrete as Roman Torchwick's head finally caved in upon itself, Yang's blazing eyes still fixated on the now deceased criminal's body, continuing to stomp on the gore for a few more seconds before stopping.

"Ah…ah…ah…ah..." She panted, seemingly tired despite not losing her aura, as she allowed her semblance to deactivate. "Ah…ah…ah…fucking bastard."

Time seemed to slow down as the blonde brawler sighed in relief, knowing that a monster had left Remnant permanently and her sister could be safe once more.

"-ng."

"Eh?" she muttered while shaking her head, her ears readjusting themselves from the moment of euphoric bliss. "What?"

"-ang." said a familiar voice as the sound of a small gale echoed across the port, Yang's hair blowing against the wind in the possess.

"Wait, Ruby?" she muttered in surprise, her head quickly turning to face the source of the voice as the image of a smiling Ruby Rose entered her mind. "Ruby! Oh gods, Ruby!"

"Yang!"

"Rub-" Yang yelled with joy before that joy was replaced with shock, for her sister...was rushing right towards her, her body enveloped with her semblance as her scythe was raised to strike her down.

SLASH!

SCRIT!

Jumping back quickly, the blonde saw the scythe cutting the concrete where she once stood as Ruby stood over the corpse of Roman, her eyes glowing bright silver as she snarled with anger and sadness.

"What did you just do to him!?" she yelled while turning her weapon into a sniper rifle, taking aim at her own sister's head.

"E-Eh?! R-Rubies-"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

Yang flinched in shock as Ruby's hands began to tremble with anger.

"Why did you kill him!? WHY!?"

"H-He used you! He was using you!" Yang yelled while seeing her team running towards her, their bodies covered in cuts and bullet wounds. "I was trying to stop him!"

"By killing him!? By stomping on his head until he was a tomato!?" Ruby yelled, her voice trying not to stutter as tears began to form hear her eyes, ruining the makeup in the process. "The Yang I knew would just beat him, NOT execute him! You were supposed to be the big sister, the pinnacle of role models! B-But you killed him! You…You…You killed dad!"

The blonde's eyes widened in abject horror as Ruby fired a Dust bullet at her, grazing her right side as blood fell on the ground…yet she didn't even register the wound or the pain.

For how could she? Her sister…her only sibling…was still calling the man that ruined her life, 'dad', despite her memories returning just moments ago.

In her eyes…this was a nightmare…a waking terror she was not prepared for.

"I'll kill you! I'LL MURDER YOU!" Ruby snapped while attempting to fire another round at her sister, aiming the weapon towards Yang's heart. "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! YOU MONSTER! MONSTER! MONSTER!"

"Yang!" Blake yelled in horror as Weiss tried to summon a glyph, but failed due to losing her aura during her unseen battle with 'Bara', her mind racing to figure out a way to stop the oncoming attack before it killed her team leader…no matter how much she wanted Yang to die.

After all...Yang treated them like crap for months, no sane person would ever want to associate themselves with an unstable lunatic like Yang Xiao Long…but maybe she was just too sympathetic to let her be the 'victim' of fratricide.

"I'LL KILL YOU! KILL YO-" Ruby yelled before suddenly vanishing in a storm of pink glass shards, leaving Yang all alone with her team, the body of Roman slowly decaying in the background.

"..."

"Yang!" Weiss yelled while rushing over to her leader with worry. "Yang! Are you ok?!" 'I might hate her for throwing me down the stairs multiple times and…calling me worthless, but she's still my leader and I have to keep face and act concerned. For my sake.'

"Yang." Blake said while feeling visibly disgusted at her team leader's actions, something that not even…her former ally Adam Taurus would commit willingly. 'Such brutality…and she said I was the animal of the team, a freak of nature…no. Don't think about it, just…just don't. For the team's sake…and my own.'

"...Ruby…." the blonde muttered as she fell to her knees, tears falling down her cheeks as she clenched her fists. "Ru...Ruby…" 'Why…why…gods why!? Why!? Why is this real!? WHY!?'

The Schnee and Belladonna looked at each other with worried looks in their eyes as the screen cut to black, the sounds of low sobbing filling the screen in the process.

(Elsewhere)

-Lower Vale, Industrial District, Condemned Warehouse-

The screen quickly transitioned from darkness to light as the camera zoomed deep into a metallic warehouse, its walls and ceiling covered in rust and mildew while in the far left corner of the large area, a single square bed with red pillows and blankets could be seen, several dressers full of kimonos and shelves lined with makeup set near the walls as the floor was haphazardly covered in broken concrete fragments and bullet holes from a high powered firearm.

Yet, on the nearby wooden chair was Ruby, her eyes red and puffy from crying as she finished wiping away the ruined makeup from her face with a pink towel, her mind strewing with dark thoughts that even she didn't expect to have in her heart.

Thoughts of revenge, shock, anger and betrayal…a twofold betrayal to be exact.

The first being her sister…no, Yang Xiao Long. The woman that killed Roman in cold blood and reignited trauma from her childhood that she repressed for years, the woman that was supposed to be the good guy, the most positive and well meaning person in her life….her mother figure in place of her own.

She could've spared Roman, she could've been the better person and found another way to 'help' her…but instead, she killed him…and shattered her sisterly bond with that woman…she was no sister…she was a beast, an animal like a feral faunus.

She…was Grimm in human skin.

The second betrayal was…Roman's. Yes, she lied to her, caused her to lose her memories and made her…kill, kill so many people that either did or did not deserve to perish. But…

He did act more like a dad to her than…her own dad, who drank himself into alcoholism along with her uncle after her mom died, who was more akin to an uncle himself than a real dad…a distant relative in all but genetics.

Roman however did try to shower her with attention, gifts, training, life lessons, freedoms, quick nudges in the right direction and, most of all, 'love'.

Yes…a criminal mastermind that killed and hurt others…gave her love, a parental love that she had been neglected in life. She was surprised at first but…after knowing the real Roman, the one that only those that were close to his heart could glimpse, the one that stripped away the 'dashing rogue' and 'hardened monster' monikers away…she saw a man that lived in the darkest aspects of society and had to grow up fast in a world of monsters and men.

In a way…she kinda saw a man that 'survived' through any means, even at the detriment of himself.

But, despite the lies and rightfully immoral actions taken upon her in a weakened state…she sympathized with his attempts at giving her a 'happy' life, a small measure of redemption and 'hope' that he did something right on this planet.

He…was just trying to be the parent that he never had.

"...stupid dad." she muttered while throwing the towel away and looked at her feet, her weapon embedded into the concrete right next to her right hip. "You tried and failed to get me a happy life. I…I know now you lied to me…but as you said, the Torchwicks are natural liars….mmm. Ugh, damn it. Why did he have to die by that monster's hands?"

Clank.

Clank.

Ruby turned her head to the left side as she saw a…familiar face looking at her from the nearby metal container. "Aunt Neo. Come to 'lecture' me for acting like a 'dum-dum'?"

The woman, revealed to be Roman's right hand woman, Neopoltian, shook her head no as she walked next to the girl and patted her left shoulder, seemingly to comfort her.

"...I know you're not my aunt." she said with a sigh. "That I was being used…but that doesn't mean I didn't like spending time with you. Raiding ice cream trucks for training or just pranking dad."

The shorter girl silently chuckled at that while seeing her 'niece' turn away in sadness.

"But he's gone now. Kinda serves him right trying to turn me into a weapon…but I don't see it like that. I just see him as a dad trying to help me in this world." she said while closing her eyes. "It's not always a fairy tale, there are no knights or witches out there, just us, the Grimm and survival. That's what he was trying to help me with…heh. Ironic. I came from a Huntsmen family yet I was blind to the fact that not everything is black and white, just gray and more gray."

"..." Neo looked at the girl with sympathy as Ruby stood up and placed the scythe on her back.

"Welp, I can understand him but I can't forgive him. Nor can I forgive….my ex-sister's cruelty." she said with a cold tone. "She broke my faith in happy endings with her brutality. She ruined our happiness with her fists, and she didn't even try to apologize at all. I might be a killer now, and I'm still trying to get over the fact I killed so many people, but she had other options…she could've not killed him. But instead, she became the Big Bad Beowolf of the story…something I must rectify."

Neo narrowed her eyes in a mock annoyed look as Ruby chuckled.

"I kid, WE are going to kill her before she hurts anyone else. So says Ruby Torchwick, soon to be criminal mistress!" She smirked while Neo rolled her eyes. "Hey, I can SO be a criminal mistress!"

The smaller girl shook her head while Ruby took a deep breath and sighed.

"As dad used to say, 'to stop an Alpha, get its pack'. So." She said while looking at Neo. "Let's destroy Yang's life, starting small and then moving upwards to her family. Make her crimes public, force the Xiao Longs into ruin and afterwards, heh heh heh, you can do the thing."

As the smaller assassin smirked with glee at the idea of espionage retribution, her eyes began to glow a bright orange color, flames forming across the sides as Ruby chuckled.

"I have to admit, having the fire bitch's powers was kinda unexpected, especially after blowing up a bank with it." She said while Neo huffed in annoyance at the memory. "But a necessary tool for our vengeance."

Clunk.

Clunk.

Clunk.

Clunk.

"Now." Ruby said while walking towards the camera, her 'aunt' following right behind them as her eyes began to glow bright silver. "Let's get some dough on this bitch." 'And make her PAY!'

As the two moved closer to the screen, the silver lights began to illuminate everything while a small text box appeared under Ruby's eyes for a few seconds before everything faded to black.

Bio: In this timeline, during Ruby Rose's very first interaction with Roman Torchwick, former Spider operative and current Vale criminal, a sight yet deadly change occurred when the scythe user was accidentally wracked across the face by the criminal's cane, sending her colliding with a nearby lamp post. This one collision, unfortunately, caused a vital portion of her brain to be hit and knock her unconscious...which gave the criminal the chance to kidnap the girl for a ransom...yet upon the girl's awakening, he discovered that the collision gave her amnesia and made her forget her entire past sans her fighting skills and weapon knowledge. Intrigued at the girl's amnesiac state and wanting to turn her into a 'minion', he lied to the girl and convinced her that she was his daughter, Barbara 'Bara' Torchwick, an assassin that went to Mistral for Spider training but was attacked by rouge Huntsmen and nearly lost the use of her skills due to the beatings she endured. During the next few months, Roman, along with Neo, helped 'reteach' Barbara the ways of the Torchwick family, instilling her with the mantra 'to lie, to cheat, to steal and to survive at any cost', and transforming this former Patch trained Huntress into Vale's most deadly assassin, who, having gained many of Roman's personality traits including the appreciation of the flamboyant, helped her 'father' in dealing with unwanted individuals that were detrimental to the Torchwick name, including Cinder's makeshift group of assassins. Yet, during these few months, Yang Xiao Long, having become the leader of the world's first three member team known as Team YBW (Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, and Weiss Schnee), became fixated and highly aggressive in her search for Ruby, having 'lost' her before attending Beacon and considers the entire event as her fault due to her own search for her mother taking priority over her sister's wellbeing, and began to show signs of mental instability towards everyone, including her own team. Having heard of the 'Scourge of Vale's' sudden appearance and her affiliation with Roman, the man that saw Ruby last, made Yang hellbent of catching the man for answers yet...when Team YBW intercepted Roman on Vale's docks, Ruby/Barbara appeared to assist her 'father' and attacked Team YBW. Yet as she attacked Weiss and Blake, Yang confronted Roman and held him by the neck, demanding answers at Ruby's current condition...only for the criminal to not only spill the beans but taunt the blonde brawler, explaining that turning a 'do-gooder' into his new heiress was the best thing he did in his life and that, if he's really lucky, he could do the same thing to Yang and have another 'daughter' for his Torchwick 'family'. However, this taunt on an already mentally unstable Huntress with a nasty temper only led to Yang's boiling point to be exceeded, causing her to brutalize him to the point of crippling his body via shattering his legs and pelvis with her semblance enhanced weaponry and fists. Roman's screams of pain, which echoed across the port and stopped Ruby's battle in its tracks, were silenced abruptly when Yang stomped repeatedly on the criminal's skull, killing him after the fifth time and crushing the entire skull on the ninth...yet the moment of euphoria for Yang was short lived as Ruby attempted to kill her, her prior memories returning after Roman's death triggered her past trauma but also shattered her original perception of her sister from a positive figure to a murderous monster, with misplaced rage in her heart before Neo dragged her away via her semblance. Unable to forgive Yang for taking away a 'father' figure in her life yet unable to truly forgive the man for taking advantage of her amnesiac state, Ruby Rose, taking the last name of Torchwick, chose to follow her informal 'aunt' Neo on the path of revenge against Team YBW and her sister, using the Fall Maiden powers, which Neo learned she had after the fact, to destroy everything that Yang cherishes from the face of Remnant while also inspiring terror in the Valeian population. A broken soul that wishes to make the name Torchwick and its original owner not only famous but to also 'redeem' both of them in some small form...a small dream from her more innocent life, a life that is forever lost to her due to her own madness and the actions of a 'criminal mastermind'.
