Almost time, almost time for the big trip to Camp Mastodon! But first they need to prepare, and make sure that everything will be set and ready and no chances of a threat or problem coming to make their one week at summer camp be ruined. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Chapter 602: Getting everything ready.
(August 13. The Loud House.)
The day is almost close, and we see Delilah and Leslie checking on all the things they all need for the big summer camp family trip. Leslie then goes down the list. "Alright so we have the bug sprays, the tents, sleeping bags, survival gear which is something our mom got from watching survival shows such as Bear Grylls and I do hope we don't have to do what she saw on TV."
Delilah chuckles. "I hope not, I mean I don't wanna literally live like Bear Grylls and I gotta be honest, that guy is way better than Rip Hardcore." she then pets the head of Snowball. "This is gonna be great, tomorrow is gonna be awesome!"
They then see Michelle at the front yard, and she is trying out the new upgrades to her ride, and then she sees the car convert with some defensive shielding, and then she uses her phone to call someone and Delilah and Leslie know who she is calling, some assistance for emergencies of any attacks at Camp Mastodon, because they don't want trouble to come and ruin the summer vacation fun.
Leslie then sees a text message from Stella, and she smiles at what it reads.
Stella Zhau – Hey Leslie, I wish we could come along, but after what had happened to my mom. We're gonna have to stay home, wish you the best of fun and enjoy that awesome summer time there at Camp Mastodon. Also, I look forward to the next planned date you have in mind.
Leslie chuckles and then she goes back to packing, and then Harrier comes through the room door, and she is accompanied by Ghastly. "Girls, are we all ready for what is to come tomorrow?"
Delilah nods. "We are, and what we wanna know... Is the Camping Grounds haunted? Are there gonna be some dark secrets from which we don't know but will know soon when we get there?"
Harriet nods and then she tells them about the tale about the captain who sailed there. "His name is Captain Kit. As you see, he was on his way home after a good radish trade, but he was caught in a storm and he had to abandon ship. But he didn't abandon it for nothing, he brought with him all of the gold and riches he earned, and then he buried it somewhere around here. But no one has ever found it."
"From some stuff I heard from talking with Amanda Bright, she informed me that they use the story as a way to make a special event where the campers and anyone there would participate in a special treasure hunt activity, and I think it is the best thing for all of us to try out. Surely you would all have fun, and FYI, the ghost of the captain is long gone. I think, I don't know. Once we arrive on camping grounds, then I shall see if he is there, or not."
Leslie and Delilah nod, and they look excited about this, but something in Delilah is making her curious. 'Hmmm, no one ever found the treasure, but what if we did find it and then we could show that the legends are true, and use the gold for when the camp needs it, such as to keep it from closing! Delilah, you are a dang good genius.' But then she sees Leslie is looking at her confused. "What?"
Leslie then speaks. "Sis, when you have that smug look, it means you have an idea. What is it?"
Meanwhile, Harriet is getting her things ready, and then she sees her Ghastly flying around and this makes her smile. She then recalls the others who are coming along as well. 'The others who are former louds are also coming, and of course the returning Lori, Leni ad Luan. This camping trip will be something else, and it would be some miracle if the D. Pingrey's did show up and brought Lily along with them, then it would feel like the whole Loch Loud thing from last time.'
Harriet then leaves her room and she readies everything else needed and to see if the house will be safe and sound once they leave, meanwhile Michelle is outside and she finished the call with someone, and then she sees Sam Sharp come over. "Hey, Sam. Ready for tomorrow?"
Sam nods. "Yeah, my parents and little bro are all packed up and ready to go, and so am i. So, where the heck is my babe and my kid, and I said that because I see him as my son too."
Michelle chuckles. "They aren't here, they are at the Rosato mansion helping them pack up. The big summer camping trip is gonna be awesome, and no RV's for the whole gimmick too. Just us relaxing, taking in the scenery of nature and enjoying the summer camping fun."
Sam chuckles and then she follows Michelle into the house. "So, are Lunes and Linc's things all packed up or should I help with packing some of them?" She then heads up the stairs, but then she stops with Michelle and they hear the plan from Delilah and Leslie, and it has something to do with a lost treasure which is either lost or hard to find, or perhaps just a myth.
Now they need to be careful about whatever ideas and plans these Lewis Louds have when they arrive at Camp Mastodon. Michelle is confused. 'Who the heck is Captain Kit? What in the heck did I miss while I was outside checking my car?'
Then Harriet is next to them. "What are you ladies doing?" This startles Sam and Michelle, and they're startling sounds startle Leslie and Delilah.
(Rosato Mansion.)
This is where Lincoln and Luna Loud are, and they are with Jordan Rosato and helping her pack, though Jordan has already packed he clothing and she is just packing the other stuff which she might need, and yes she is letting her dog Ajax come along as well.
Lincoln then helps pack the stuff Ajax, needs and then the dog of Jordan tosses his fave chew toy into the bag, and this makes Lincoln chuckle. "Thanks boy." He pets the head of the dog, and then Ajax runs around and sees Rowlet asleep on a tree branch outside and he barks at him, but Rowlet doesn't bother to wake up, and turns away and continues to nap.
Jordan then comes out of her bathroom. "Well, mom and dad called and said that they will leave the restaurant closed for the week, and the Rose Shipping Company will be led by my dad's second command, and he is also the one guy he trusts with the company. Looks like we are all locked, loaded and ready for tomorrow."
Luna then places some bags down and they have what Jordan might need. "Good to know, also I got a message from Sam that she is at the house and seeing if they need some help packing. We're all gonna have an awesome summer time fun at camp Mastodon and whatever plan your pops has, Jordan."
Lincoln then asks. "Yeah, what the heck is your dad up to anyway?"
Jordan chuckles. "As much as I wanna tell you guys, that is a no go, because I don't even know either. Sorry, guys. But whatever it is, something tells me that it'll be a dang good ending for Camp Mastodon, because the one thing that place doesn't deserve, is closing down. I mean, what if some horrid corporation buys the camp? It would be total disaster and ruin everything."
Lincoln and Luna also agree, and then Luna sees this text message from someone, and she reads it.
Amanda Bright – Hey, I heard that you guys are headed to Camp Mastodon. You guys are gonna love it there, I went there last month and it is still as awesome as it was when I was a kid. Enjoy guys and keep an eye out for the legendary long lost treasure of Captain Kit! That's a joke, it is actually a camp activity and is super fun!
Luna liked the sound of that, something they can all have fun with while they are there, then they see Rowlet fly into the room, and then land on the head of Jordan and he yawns and sleeps there, and this makes Jordan giggle. "Ever wonder when this little guy would evolve?"
Lincoln smirks. "Now that would be something to see."
