A return to speak with the former loud parents, and with a familiar person who misses the former patriarch of the Louds. But things won't go so well when something goes down, something dark that will... Chapter 612: To the parents, and with trouble.
(August 27. State Michigan Correctional Facility, Lansing city, Lansing.)
We see Lynnard Sr, and Rita are now headed for the visiting room, and they seem excited to see Lincoln and Luna again, and the others, and they were told that they have a special guest with them as well, someone whom Lynnard knows, and yet he doesn't know what it is, but he is stoked to see who it might be. "So, who do you think it is who is with them?"
Rita then thinks of an answer. "Well, chances that they might mean everyone who used to be our kids, and maybe some talks about Camp Mastodon."
Lynnard smiles hearing this. "Oh man, this is gonna be so much fun and I hope they did manage to save the camp." Then he sees someone he knows, his cellmate. "Hey there, Gerald. How're things at he cafeteria?"
"Things are all good there, the chefs have managed to master the skills of making a mighty fine roast duck. Hope you guys have fun talking with the kids, see ya back at the cell later, Lynnard" replied Gerald. He then walks off, planning to get some rest, while Lynn Sr and Rita head off to see the others, and they don't even notice that someone is spying on them and looks ticked off from what had gone down back then.
Meanwhile Rita and Lynnard have made it, and when they see Lincoln and Luna, this makes them smile and then they see Michelle, Leslie and Delilah, but then they see someone else is with them, and that someone is Leonard Loud, and Lynnard goes wide eyed. "D-Dad?"
"Lynnie!" the elderly man goes over, and embraces his son, and so Lynnard returns the embrace, and both shed tears and weep, as if they haven't seen each other in a long, long time.
Lincoln is surprised. "Wow. Yup, those two are related. You think any of the other former louds have that within them?"
Luna thinks about this. "I am not sure, but this sure is a familiar sight." They then depart from the hug and head over to talk to the others. "Alright dudes, we're glad to be back here again, and we have some stuff to share, such as the discovery of Captain Kits treasure, and to the fact Gramps here is the new scout master of Camp Mastodon."
"Wait, what?!" Lynnard looks to his father. "Wait, dad. What about fishing? What about the bearing sea?"
Leonard then explains. "Lynnie, after everything that has gone down. I don't wanna be far from the family anymore and wish to be there for the others, and spend some more time. I feel like time has gone by and everything I have come to know has changed, a little too fast, and I wanna be there and catch up with such stuff. Especially with you, son."
Lynnard sheds some tears, and so does Leonard, and Rita chuckles. "Here we go again." The two men then weep and embrace each other, and this is becoming very awkward, and even the guards see that this is where Lynn Sr got his weeping side from, and his nose and... Pretty much his whole appearance.
Afterwards, they tell them more about what has gone down lately. The incident when they have new problems in the form of twins who hate romance, and the whole camping experience, which then leads to an awesome moment of treasure hunting, and a dangerous encounter with a prehistoric animal, and they show them proof that dinosaurs now walk within Royal Woods.
This is all so surprising, and they can tell that returning home soon would be something to look forward to and attempt to try and adapt. Luna then speaks. "Dudes, the plans have been made and set, and if you guys wanna go for it. Starting next year, on January... Lynnard Senior and Rita, we wanna release you guys from prison, to return home."
This is a surprise, Lynnard and Rita didn't see this coming, and they see the others are also in an agreement, though Leonard didn't know about this. Rita is about to speak, but then they hear the alarms go off. "Wait, what the heck is going on?" asked Delilah.
One of the guards call out. "Lynnard, Rita stay here! There's been a riot!" The guards then take their leave to go and help stop this madness, since this is one big riot and they need all of their help.
"What?!" Lynnard is confused. "Wait, there couldn't be one. A lot of the inmates have changed... Wait, the new guys who came in! Dang it, I knew I should've helped make sure those guys have been changed."
Then Gerald shows up. "Guys, I managed to seal off some of the doors and other guards are on their way to the other halls, and there seems to be one heck of a fight going down, and the other inmates are trying to contain this. The inmates who we have befriended and I saw who started it! Someone we know, and hate. Emanuel C. Chavez Del Santos!"
This surprises Luna and Lincoln, Rita and Lynnard and they recall that the sole reason for this is because of the death of his partner, Jeremy J.K. Trump. They know that this is all about revenge, just then someone knocks the doors down, and then uses a bean bag grenade launcher and then he throws the guard towards Gerald and he helps the man, but then he is struck by the bean bag launcher.
Luna does what she can to defend her son, and she even has her gun ready, and Michelle with her taser, and Delilah and Leslie ready to fight this man, and Luna is starting to breathe down some cold air, as in her powers are going to kick in to help stop this bastard.
"You two!" Emanuel readies to blast at Lynnard and Rita, then he sees the others. "When I am done with you two, then they are next and I'll be fucking things up in the end!" He then fires, but no ammo. "Dang it! Oh well, up close!" He then has his knife. "And Personal!"
Emanuel charges at them, but then Gerald gets in the way and he attempts to stop this man from harming the others. But Emanuel has been training lately, and has gotten stronger, and more bulky and ripped. He then overpowers Gerald and he tosses him towards Lynnard and Rita.
He then grabs a table and he uses it as a shield to defend himself from Luna and her shot, and Michelle is about to use her taser, but he throws the table at her, and then he slaps Luna away, and he looks towards Luna. "Time to die, bad luck kid!" Then Delilah and Leslie attack, but he knocks them away. "Stupid kids!"
Lincoln tries to make a run for it, but Emanuel chases after him, then he grabs the boy and lands a punch to his face, and then to his stomach, and then he throws him away. Lincoln hits the wall and he falls to the ground, and he looks up and sees Emanuel with a sinister grin and his knife. "This will be slow and very painful!"
Luna regains herself and sees this. "Lincoln!" she is about to race over, and so are Lynnard, Rita and Leonard, but then someone else gets over there and that someone is Gerald Langston, he pushes Lincoln aside, and he gets stabbed in the shoulder, and this enrages Emanuel and he punches Gerald in the stomach, and then he stabs the man, to his chest.
Gerald sees that he has been stabbed to his heart, and then Emanuel smirks. "You are too good to live!" He then tosses the wounded man away and towards the tables, and Lynnard and Rita go over to check on him, and before Emanuel can look for Lincoln, he turns around and he is shot in the head, by two things. A bullet to his chest, and an icicle shot towards his neck.
They see Luna has her gun, and pointing her right hand at the man, and it is glowing blue and looks like it is made of ice, and then Luna races over to check on her son and so do the others, and Emanuel C. Chavez Del Santos drops to his knees, and he falls to the ground and is now dead.
Lincoln gets up and sees the others checking on him. "I... I'm fine, a little sore and in some slight pain... Wait, the other guy!" They all see Lynnard and Rita checking on Gerald Langston, and they go over and check and so Michelle goes to the nearby emergency phone to call for the guards to bring some medical crew here, and some more guards.
Gerald coughs out blood. "Hang in there, we're gonna get you some help" replied Lynnard.
"No... I don't think, it'll be..." Gerald cringes at the pain he is feeling. "Too late... I did what I had to... Because, Lincoln... reminded me of... Of when I almost got killed... so long ago, as a... A kid."
Michelle then goes back to the others. "Guys, the medical staff will be here soon, and the riot is being calmed down. You'll be able to recover and..."
"No... I did what I had to... I don't think... This is something they... They won't help... I... Want you to tell... My family, that... That I am sorry for what I have... I have done, and that I will... Always, love... I love them, and always will..." He then coughs out more blood, and he looks towards Lynnard. "Look forward... To the future... Accept the new life and... Keep going..." He then slowly closes his eyes, and they see that he has stopped breathing.
All of them are now in tears, Gerald Langston is dead.
All Lynn Sr can do is cry, and weep. He feels like he has lost someone who was more than a friend, a brother and a dang good one. Rita then consoles her husband, and so does Leonard. This man risked himself to save Lincoln, and this also concerns Luna and the others.
Lincoln also sheds some tears, and Luna does what she can to comfort her son, and the alarms keep blaring as the riot continues on the day a great and nice man has died.
