Time to say a Happy Birthday to Lucy Shapiro, but trouble is a brewing and just when things are turning out awesome for this special day for the little Goth girl. The trouble? From another country, now this concept was from someone, I just forgot who it was because the message was many, many months ago. So, the person who gave me this idea, thanks man. Chapter 649: Costume Birthday, and trouble.
(October 30. Shapiro Residence.)
The day to celebrate the birthday of Lucy is here, and this is no ordinary party. This is a monster costume party, and everyone is dressed as a different monster, let them be made up or something out of a movie, series, or book.
Lucy is happy to see this and she is dressed as a vampire, with bat wings, and she sees her friends from the young Morticians Club are also dressed as Vampires, but their returning friend and former president, Bertrand is dressed as an oceanic zombie, and he makes it look accurate and good.
Lucy then sees her former family, and her current family, and they are also dressed as different kinds of monsters, and she smiles. 'This is an awesome birthday, I love this.' Then her mother goes towards her. "Hey mom, is there something you need?"
The woman smirks. "Nothing at all, Luce. I just wanted to see how you're enjoying this day." Mrs. Shapiro is dressed as a Frankenstein's Wife monster.
Lucy then embraces her. "I love it, so much mom!" The woman is happy to see Lucy is enjoying this, then Maggie comes over and he is dressed as a werewolf.
"This is just the start little sis, when tomorrow comes then things are gonna get super spooky. For the haunted corn maze." Lucy likes the sound of that, then they are noticed by the two who still retain the name here in town, Lincoln and Luna Loud. With them are Delilah, Leslie and Michelle.
Luna is dressed as a car clawed pirate zombie, Lincoln has chosen to dress as the Indominous Rex. Michelle Lewis Loud is dressed as a female Michael Jackson zombie, Leslie is dressed as an octopus monster, and Delilah is dressed as a female Bruce Lee Zombie.
"This sure is an awesome party, and it makes it feel like this is Halloween" replied Leslie. "I like this."
"But it'll be more exciting when tomorrow comes, the Haunted corn maze of Lucy" replied Delilah. "We all remember the whole stick with what we're gonna do tomorrow, right?"
They all nod, and they explain what they have planned when tomorrow comes. Leslie and Delilah have volunteered to help make the Corn maze far scarier, and with the help from Stella. Luna and Lincoln are both headed to their respective schools and be part of the Halloween Costume Party, Michelle will be busy at the usual Halloween Costume Party with the Mayor.
Luna then recalls something. "Another thing we gotta keep track of as this month goes down, is when Halloween comes and the chances of trouble coming to do some damage and wreck everyone's night. We don't know what the heck will happen next."
"Which I why we are going to make sure patrols will be all around, to keep track of what's going on" replied Michelle.
"But not just that..." Jordan goes over, and she is dressed as a demon girl. "The hero counterparts informed me that they will send out some special dark and spooky themed extra backup guards, I don't know what it means, but it could be of undead in origin, if you know what I mean."
Lincoln chuckles. "Oh I do so look forward to that one." He then goes over to grab some punch, leaving the others to talk some more.
"Also, we got Sam's Birthday and Jordan's birthday and I know we're gonna be spending some time for when those events come around, right?" asked Luna.
Jordan nods. "Yup, but we will not be having my birthday party at my place. I don't know how, but my parents got something else special for me, I don't know what it is but I so look forward to where the party will be held."
"Wow, did not see that one..." Leslie then looks around. "Wait, where the heck is Lincoln?"
They look to where the punch is, and they see he is not there, but they do see the cup Lincoln used is on the ground ad this startles them, Lincoln Loud is gone, again!
(Someplace else.)
Lincoln is slowly waking up and he seems dazed, he then looks around and sees that he is in a dark room, chained to a chair and he is still in his costume. "Oh come on, what the heck now? Alright, who the heck kidnapped me this time? Is it someone I know?"
"I think you do, lad." From the shadows, reveals Morag, and she looks like a mess with her hair all messy, and her clothes still the same, but now filthy and she looks deranged. "Surprised to see me here, child?!"
Lincoln is confused. "Morag? But wait, I thought you were locked up somewhere tight and hard to get out from!"
Morag snickers. "They don't know, that I know every dang dungeon within the castle, so they made a terrible mistake placing me in one of them where I can still figure out some ways to escape, that and there is always a hidden room inside the castle, that could lead me out of there, and the hard part was trying to sort out how to bypass that navy defense from your friends and that damned flying lizard."
Lincoln growls. "Her name is Lela, and she is the Guardian Dragon of Loch Loud!"
Morag scoffs. "That tone will get you nowhere, child, and now that I have the most annoying person to remind me of that stupid duke, I can end your misery and then go after the others, and I will be sure to present your head to all of them!" she has an axe in hand, and it looks sharpened.
Lincoln didn't like where this was going, and so he tries to buy some time. "Hang on, how the heck did you get all the way here? I mean, we're miles away from each other, and across the Atlantic Ocean."
Morag falls for this and then she replies. "Well I certainly don't have the cash to afford some fancy cruise ship, but that would've been nice. All I needed to do was find the old ship that my dear old Aggie used so long ago when the time came to one day hide the journal, and so I took that vessel and to be honest I have little of a clue as to how naval stuff works."
"took me a day or two to figure it out, and when I did learn the ropes, and I don't mean the whole knot tying thing, I managed to try and get to the country, this country faster and it only took me less than two days and that was still hard to the fact I was surrounded by so much water, and little to know food and water, now I see why everyone has a hard time working on the seas, such a drag."
"Then the hard part was trying to get a ride to come here, and it took me a while to find the right rides to get me from where I was, to all the way here in Royal Woods, Michigan. So many annoying folks, and now I see that this country is just filled with idiots, morons and stupid folks, and though I hate this country, what mattered to me was getting to this town, and finding you loud lot!"
Morag then readies her axe, and she snickers. "And now, Lincoln Loud. I will be rid of you, forever!"
Lincoln smirks. "You forgot one thing... I bought them some time, to find us."
Morag is confused. "What?!"
Then Luna turns her around, and she lands a punch to the woman's face, and then she goes to her son and helps Lincoln. "Thanks for coming mom, I managed to keep her occupied."
"You had me worried kiddo!" Luna then unchains her son, and they both embrace each other, then they see Morag is standing in front of them. "You made a terrible mistake coming here, you old hag!"
Morag growls. "Stupid Louds... Wait, how did you even find us here?!"
Luna doesn't seem stern anymore and she smirks. "Dude, you didn't know that my son's costume was slowly losing the scales, and they left a trail all the way here, to the basement." the lights turn on and Morag is now surrounded by all the party guests, and all of them are angry and ready to beat her up.
Morag then uses her axe. "Stay back you hoodlums! I have an axe, and I am not afraid to..."
Delilah kicks the axe away, and then Luna makes an ice fist, and she grabs the weapon, she then freezes the axe, and then she shatters it. "This is what's gonna happen, you old fart headed piece of trash." they all close in, and what happens next to Morag is going to be very painful.
(Later.)
We see everyone is gathered at the front yard, and they watch as the badly wounded and very angry Morag is taken away, and then she yells. "This is not over Louds! You think this is the end? I will come back, and when I do, then you will all regret ever to have stepped foot on Loch Loud, and then I will become the..."
But Officer Schoffner slams the door of her cop car. "Save it for the judge back in Scotland." she then looks to the others. "We'll make sure she's sent back, to be punished by the Duke."
Michelle nods, and she goes over and hugs Delilah and Leslie, and then she goes off with the cops, to help bring Morag back to Scotland, and to inform of this madness to Duke Angus, and hear out what punishment he has for this wretched old woman.
They all sigh in relief, and then Lincoln looks towards Lucy. "Sorry about that Luce, are you alright?"
Lucy then hugs Lincoln. "As long as you're okay, that's fine with me." Lincoln smiles, and he returns the embrace to his former little sister, and everyone returns to the party, and they all look forward to the rest of this day, and yet what had happened, was something way better.
