Back to the comic, the "Ace Savvy and the Night Club" and thanks again to my good friend. "Marvelomac1010" for the concept, and this has something to do with the origin of one of their teammates, Dodge Ball Queen. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter everyone.

Chapter 686: AC&TNC: The Dodgeball Queen.

(Deck City. Michigan.)

We start here, and Ace Savvy is doing his own night patrol gig, and he continues to go around the town and watching out for trouble, and then he checks for messages from his partner in fighting crime, One-Eyed Jack, and he uses his Deck of Cards Phone and sees that One-Eyed Jack seems fine.

'The rest of the Deck Crew are all busy, and it doesn't seem to be much crime going around, besides the Old Maid and Card Shark, and the return of those very uncharacteristic Royal bad guys too, glad my mom showed up and helped, and the Eleven of Hearts is making herself a good impression, as a superhero.'

Ace Savvy then takes in the peaceful night time of the city and then he recalls that everything has changed, after they dealt with that Lord Edward Richardson, and everyone doesn't know who is under the mask of Ace Savvy, Night Club and Blue Streak, everything seems to be going back to normal.

But then, Ace Savvy feels like someone is here, and so he turns around and he readies his cards. "Show yourself and prepare for what I am about to deal..." The figure appears, and is dodgeball queen and she smirks.

"Deal out some what?"

This surprises Ace Savvy. "Dodgeball Queen? What are you doing here?"

The superheroine smirks and she stands by his side as they look to the city. "Finished my own patrols in Royal Woods, and so I figured that the Savviest Detective could use some good company with this patrol routine." This does surprises Ace Savvy, and he smirks.

"Well, alright then. I mean, my partner and friend, One-Eyed Jack is on his own patrols, and so I shall accept this assistance, thank you Dodgeball Queen." The dodgeball Queen nods, but then she has this expression that seems uncertain, and Ace Savvy can tell that something is wrong. "Are you doing alright? Something seems to be bothering you."

Dodgeball Queen feels like she should deny speaking, but then again this is the world's Savviest Detective and he knows something is wrong, and so she tells him. "Sorry it's just that... Silver Storm has her partner, Silver Striker, and you have One-Eyed Jack, and Night club has Blue streak. Seeing you guys have partners, reminds me of the partner in crime fighting I used to have, a good friend who is long gone and lost."

Ace Savvy didn't see this coming, he never expected this from one of the members of the Deck Crew, and so the Dodgeball Queen tells Ace Savvy, what had happened that day, the day she lost her partner and became a solo superhero.

(Flashback.)

Royal Woods, two years ago and the Mayor has been kidnapped and nobody knows who the heck took her, and we see the Dodgeball Queen is on the lookout, and she is not alone, alongside her is her good friend and partner in crime fighting, the Techno King!

The Techno King – He has a mask on his face like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, dark brown hair and a silver and gold flight suit, a smart hero with a rocket backpack on his back, and he has special tech on his utility belt and wrists such as a grappling hook, an electrical staff and a special net cannon on his left wrist for taking down bad guys. His name is Ryan Milton, and they are good friends and know each other's identities.

Dodgeball Queen and Techno King are both searching for the missing mayor, and the local police are also doing their best. "Now, who the heck would kidnap the mayor?" asked Dodgeball Queen. "A possible enemy from long ago perhaps? I don't recall she had competition who would be mean."

Techno King then looks around. "Not possible, the previous competitors wouldn't want the mayor to be ruined, and they care for this city. Someone is hiding something and... Wait, behind us!" They both turn around and they see these large and bulky robots with thrusters. "Oh, looks like we might know who!"

Dodgeball Queen throws an energy dodgeball and it bounces off ten robots, and they blow up. Techno King avoids getting hit, and he uses his jet pack to go up into the sky and fire multiple nets that snare the robots, and then he strikes the ground with his staff and shocking the machines.

Dodgeball Queen and Techno King both stand tall. "And that is how we do it!" She fist bumps with her partner, but then she notices something. "Wait, those dice heads on the robots... No, Crazy Dice! He is behind this!"

Techno King didn't like this. "Makes sense, he is crazy after all. We need to get to his hideout, save the mayor and send him to jail, forever! That guy is too crazy, or we could lock him in the asylum."

"Then let's go and lay down some hurt!" Dodgeball Queen and Techno King take off, they got a villain to take down.

(Somewhere outside of Royal Woods, at an old Casino.)

The two heroes arrive, and they sneak inside the base of the notorious and insane villain, known as Crazy Dice, and they look around and then Techno King grabs Dodgeball Queen and both hide and some robots walk by them, Dodgeball queen shocks them with an electrical dodgeball and then they get moving.

Techno King uses his DNA tracker. "Yes, I got the signal, Mayor Anne Ronalda Le Chang is right... Here!" they kick the double doors down, and they really just fall down, and they see the mayor, the Spanish-Chinese Mayor of their beloved town, unconscious and hanging on some rope, and tied up, she dangles over a pit of acid and this scares the two heroes.

"Well, well. It was about dang time you two heroes showed up!" They then spot him, on the catwalk above the mayor, Crazy Dice but his real name is Charles McSinister, and yeah that is a legit villainous last name right there. "I was starting to get bored and just enjoy watching this dumb mayor lady be burnt alive in acid, but now my playmates are here, and now we can roll the dice!"

He then throws three dice, and they are glowing, and so Techno King and Dodgeball Queen get out of the way before they blow up, and then Dodgeball Queen calls out. "What the heck is this about this time, Crazy Dice?!" she readies the flash bang dodgeball.

Crazy Dive laughs maniacally. "I want the mayor to hand me the many deeds to the city and the key as well, along with the title of Mayor!" He then spins the dice machine in his hand, and the dice strikes 12, and then robots come out and attack the two superheroes.

Dodgeball Queen then throws two dodge balls, one makes an electrical field and stuns the robots. "We haven't forgotten our previous encounter, and it's always the number twelve for you!" The other dodgeball detonates and stuns the villain, Techno King uses his jet pack and he takes off and he goes over and gets the mayor out of this bind.

Techno King manages to get the mayor somewhere safe, and at the same time he flies by and sucker punches Crazy Dive, and on ground level, dodgeball queen throws more dodge balls and they damage and destroy more robots coming, and she counts each one, and they are exactly the same number of robots from their previous encounter, twelve dozen robots.

Then Techno King comes back. "The mayor is now safe, we just need to..." Crazy Dice is trying to escape. "Oh no you don't!" The two heroes race over, and Dodgeball Queen throws a dodgeball and this stuns the villain, and then Techno King launches the net grappling hook, and they capture the villain.

"It is over, Crazy Dice!" said Dodgeball Queen.

"Oh... Is it now?" They see Crazy Dice shows, he has some metallic parts, and his eyes are glowing red. "Ha! You think I forgot about our previous encounter? I learned from it, stupid heroes!"

This surprises the heroes. "A robot?! What?!"

Then a screen turns on at the wall, and they see the real Crazy Dice. "You fell for my trap, and now I will make sure you two never come back, to ruin all of my fun games! Farewell, and so long forever heroes!" He laughs evilly, and the screen turns off. Then they feel the casino shake, and the deep voice is heard.

"Self-Destruct Sequence initiated in T-minus 50 seconds."

Dodgeball Queen and Techno King are wide eyed hearing this. "Oh no."

Then the area there they are blows up, knocking over the two heroes, but soon dodgeball queen gets up and she looks around the now ruined part of this base. Then she looks around, she sees the mayor at the corner of the area, and safe and sound and then she calls out. "Techno King! Where are you?!" She then sees her partner, but he is stuck under some debris, but his jetpack is not with him, it's five feet from where he is and not broken.

Dodgeball Queen goes over and she tries to help him out. "Hang in there, I got you! Dang it, I'm not strong enough! Use one of your tech to get out and then we can..."

"No, my wrist tech is broken too, and my utility belt is underneath and I can't reach!" Techno King is in pain, and some metal pipes are putting pressure on his legs. "I... I can't get out, there's no other way..." He then looks to his partner. "You have to go, get out of here now!"

Dodgeball Queen is shocked hearing this. "What?! No, I am not leaving you..."

"The mayor needs you and so does Royal Woods!" yelled Techno King. He then has some tears. "They still need a hero, and you are that hero. Continue the good fight, and keep everyone safe..." Dodgeball Queen still wouldn't budge and she tries to lift the debris, and so Techno King uses his still working tech mask and he has the jetpack fly towards Dodgeball Queen, and it attaches to her.

"Wait, what are you doing?!"

"There is only enough fuel, for one trip, but not enough to lift this up..." He then pushes a button, and she is redirected to go to the mayor, and Dodgeball Queen grabs the unconscious mayor, and then Dodgeball Queen and the mayor and sent through the broken roof, but she looks down with tears and sees her partner wave to her and smile. "Take care old friend, and don't stop being a hero. Goodbye."

Then fire engulfs the place, and dodgeball queen is speechless and then the jetpack lands outside the casino, and Dodgeball Queen sees the mayor is slowly waking up and cop cars are inbound, but then she looks to the casino and she takes off the jetpack, and before she knows it, the casino blows up, leaving nothing left but fire, ash and rubble.

A lone tear falls from Dodgeball Queen's face, for she has lost her friend, she lost her partner in crime fighting.

(End Flashback.)

Ace Savvy is shocked hearing this, and then he sees Dodgeball Queen wipe away some tears, he never knew that she lost her partner, and she never even told Night Club or Blue Streak, and then he speaks. "I am sorry that you lost your partner, but I can assure you that you won't lose us."

Dodgeball Queen looks to Ace Savvy and he smiles. "We're a team, and we're stronger together and we know how to take down even the worst bad guys, and that we will always have each other's backs. We will be here for you, to always deal out some justice."

Dodgeball Queen smiles, and then she hugs Ace Savvy. "Thank you." This makes Ace Savvy smile, and he returns the hug, he is glad he could help one of his friends, and make sure they are back on the right track and doing what they do best, fighting crime and saving the day.

But they don't know, a robot drone the shape of a Dice sees them, and then it takes off and returns to report that the Dodgeball Queen lives, and this will definitely enrage Crazy Dice.

(Reality, December 19.)

Jordan is surprised by this, and then Lincoln speaks. "I don't know why, but it felt like the right thing to give the Dodgeball Queen a sad backstory, and a new look on life to try and be part of a team, one that cannot be taken down so easily."

Jordan nods. "This is alright, Lincoln. I can tell that you have something big planned for the next comic, right?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I do. Something interesting, for the whole team."

But then Jordan wonders. 'Where the heck did Lincoln get the idea of the partner for Dodgeball Queen?'

"To be continued on December 23."
