The very last night, the very last Christmas dinner, and to have it with other families part of the whole thing. Time for a dang good Christmas night, and to celebrate it with those who love them, and so enjoy reading this newly posted chapter my friends, and Happy Holidays.

Family of Two.
Chapter 688: The last Loud Christmas Dinner.

(December 24, the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The oven opens, and Michelle Lewis brings out the Roasted Goose, and she smells it. "Now this smells nice, and thank you cooking lessons, from the mayor." she then goes to the dining room, and she places the food down and sees the other food she made, and she sees the table looks all nice and setup, and all thanks to Delilah and Leslie.

Leslie sets up the rest of the plates, and Delilah lights up the candelabra. Leslie looks to everything. "This is so nice, and also fancy. I am glad we didn't make much, or fruit cake."

Delilah then recalls. "Right, right. Apparently, for some reason fruit cake makes Leslie nauseous and she throws up. I don't think we ever mentioned that yet, did we?"

Michelle is surprised to hear that. "No, no you girls have not, but now I am glad that I know. Good thing we didn't make fruit cake, and I know the others didn't make some too. Alright, so where the heck are the others?"

"Here." Harriet comes through the walls. "Made sure the driveway was cleaned of snow, and that there wouldn't be any ice to be a bother when on the road, also it seems like Mr. Grouse, has left his house and home, and we might not be seeing him again too."

They all recall, that Mr. Grouse said that with many things changing, and that he kinda believes he didn't do much during the bad luck ordeal, he wishes to no longer reside in Royal Woods, and so he is gone. He won't be coming back, and has found a new home, and that home is being the neighbor to his family at another part of Michigan. They are gonna miss the cantankerous neighbor, but this is his choice and they'll accept it.

Michelle looks around and then she asks. "Where the heck are Lincoln and Luna?" she then pets the head of the Hisuian Arcanine who walks by.

Outside, that is where they are. Lincoln and Luna look around the neighborhood and they see how calm and peaceful it is, and almost quiet too. They know that Detective Sandra Merris is celebrating a Christmas dinner party at the police station with her partner, Detective StoneHeart. They know that Leni, Lori and Luan are spending this Christmas with the Logann's, and the Yates are the only ones at their home, celebrating their own Christmas dinner.

Lincoln then asks. "Mom, when are the others gonna get here? I just, feel excited about this." Then they see The Hisuian Braviary fly around, and then she takes off someplace else, since she will be spending her night at the Rosato Lake, with the others.

Luna smirks and then she speaks. "Hang in there and be patient Linc. They'll be here..." They then see the two family vans coming. "Oh, there they are. Right on cue." the two vehicles park near the front yard, and the family within come out and they greet them.

"Merry Christmas!"

Luna chuckles. "Not yet Christmas, but this is alright." they all go over and greet them, and Simon hugs Lincoln.

"Merry Christmas Lincoln."

"Merry Christmas little buddy, I got a present for you that you can bring home, but you have to open it tomorrow, alright Simon?"

Simon nods. "Alright, Lincoln." They then go into the house, and Jordan shares a small kiss with Lincoln, and they go inside and even Ajax. The Rosato parents follow and they made some roast beef, and the Sharp parents made some pies and cookies. Sam walks alongside Luna, and then she asks her.

"So, Linc doesn't know about his Christmas Gift from you babe?"

Luna smirks. "He doesn't even know about the gift I have for him. Tonight, I'll bring it down, and then he can open it when tomorrow comes. Did you bring your gift for him?"

Sam then has the present. "Yup, and my parents said that it was alright if I spent the night here, and then head back home and see how my rent's and little bro are feeling tomorrow. What do you think, babe?"

Luna smirks. "Lincoln is gonna love this Christmas morning when tomorrow comes." they both go inside and see Simon excited over the present that Lincoln got him, but he is patient and will open it when tomorrow comes, and so he goes over and he plays with Ajax.

Sam then goes towards the Christmas tree, and she places her gift below, and then she turns around and Lincoln hugs her. "Glad you come here mom, and I even got you something for Christmas too." He the hands her the present and she smiles seeing this.

Sam then kneels down and she embraces the white haired preteen. "Thanks sweetie, that is very thoughtful of you, and I have some good news for you. I will be spending the night here, my parents and little brother are fine with this."

Lincoln is surprised to hear this and so he smiles and hugs Sam again, and this makes her chuckle and she hugs him once more. Seeing this sight makes Luna and Jordan happy, and so they snap a few photos of this mother and son moment. Then they all hear Michelle call out.

"Alright gang, time to enjoy this amazing and delicious dinner."

Everyone heads to the Dining Room, and they all enjoy the food that the other family brought to this event, and they even see the Hisuian Arcanine and Hisuian Decidueye join them, and as they continue to enjoy this dinner, Lincoln looks around and sees how happy everyone is, and this scenario reminds him of the family who were all once loud, proud and large.

Lincoln takes one last look at this, because he knows that this will be the very last time that he will see the family come together, and enjoy a Christmas moment, and though they aren't the full family including the former louds and their grandparents, this is still a moment he will never forget. The very final Christmas dinner, for the very last time here in the Loud House.

(Timeskip, night time.)

The night has fallen, and everyone else is in bed. Harriet has finished with cleaning up the mess, and then she heads to the living room and she smiles seeing Michelle on the couch and asleep, and by her side are Leslie and Delilah.

Harriet goes over and then she places a blanket over them, to keep them warm and then she goes around the house and see what needs some final touch of cleaning, and she even phases through Snowball, and this wakes up the Hisuian Arcanine, but then she goes back to sleep.

Upstairs, we see Lincoln is in his pajamas and fast asleep, and Sam is next to him and also asleep. Luna is the one awake, and she smiles at seeing the duo sound asleep, and she knew that it was her time to make this happen. Luna then gets up, and she walks by the sleeping Lincoln and Sam, and she goes to the closet, and she grabs the present she kept thee hidden.

'Alright, time to make this thing happen.' She then walks by them again, and then she slowly opens the door and walks out of the room. Luna quietly goes down the stairs, and she even walks by the sleeping Knockback, he seems keener on sleeping on a cushion in the hallway, almost like he wants to do some hardcore sleep. Weird, but then again he wants to be prepared for next year.

Luna then goes down the stairs, and she makes sure she doesn't awaken the sleeping ones on the couch, and then she places her gifts at the fireplace, because she even has the gift for Sam, but then she notices some extra presents and this confuses her. 'Wait, what?'

Luna then looks to the table and the milk and cookies are gone, and empty. Luna looks to the fireplace and sees some small movement as if something is climbing, and then she hears a whooshing sound, and so she looks to the window and sees a man on his sleigh, laughing in a Russian accent and he takes off chanting. "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Goodnight!"

Luna smiles seeing this. 'Gotta thank that guardian dude for this, and a Merry Christmas indeed.'

A/N: There we go, and a visit from Santa who is from another world, and is kinda happening in another one of my stories too. This is the last Holiday moment they will have at the Loud House, because everything changes when next year graduation and summer comes around.
