We are almost there guys, almost there to the big night and day, and the near end of the year which we are in right now. Time to just get ready, plan ahead and look forward to what is to come soon. So, enjoy reading this newly posted chapter everyone.

Chapter 691: Almost time for New Year's.

(December 30, the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The nice morning has gone by, and we see Lincoln, Luna, Michelle, Delilah and Leslie help cleaning up the decorations, and also Harriet is helping out, while also shoveling the snow off from the driveway.

Now Lincoln has been his infant state, but then he returned to normal earlier in the morning, Sam Sharp is already back home to help her family out, and now everyone is getting ready for what is to come, the big New Year's Eve event.

Harriet then stops what she is doing and she sees the driveway is nice and clean, she then looks to the next door neighbor, and Mr. Grouse is still not there, and she sighs. 'It was nice to have a next door neighbor who understood the whole ordeals of why a retirement home is not meant for an old folk who can still handle things. But, Bud Grouse has his own things to do, and that is to be close to his family.'

Harriet then phases through the Hisuian Arcanine, Snowball and she seems freaked out when she did that. Harriet also sees Michelle, Delilah and Leslie cleaning the decorations that are outside of the house, and though she wants to help them, it looks like they got this, because even the Hisuian Braviary Rosey is helping out as well.

Harriet goes into the house, and she sees Lincoln and Luna place the box of decorations down. "Done and done, and now the house looks as it was before" replied Luna, then the trio stop and look around the house, and all that has changed ever since things have turned into something else.

"Time sure does fly, and seeing how this is... Brings back memories, from the old times" replied Lincoln.

Luna smirks. "Yeah, sure does. A lot stuff, and good changes. What about you Great Grandma Harriet?"

The ghost smiles and then she recalls. "I remember everything that has gone down, everything that we have had with the former family, the amazing and good moments where you would all be one big and happy family. Those are the times that are remembered, but not easy to return."

"But fate has been made possible, and everything has become a changed thing. We all have gone down some stuff that are major issues, and there is no way that we can turn back the clock and undo what had gone down. All we can do now, is adapt and handle the new changes and look forward to the future, right?"

The others nod and smile, and so Harriet goes up to her room, and she checks what needs cleaning, because she knows that when summer comes, and graduation is over, they will move out and live someplace else, so she is just preparing.

Lincoln and Luna go to the couch and there they calm down and relax, and then Lincoln asks. "Mom, the next month is when Rita and Lynnard are coming out from jail, right?"

Luna nods. "Yeah, why kiddo?" Luna then pulls her son close to her, and she ruffles his hair, making him chuckle.

Lincoln then asks. "Mom, where are they gonna live?"

Luna is surprised to hear that, and so she tells him. "Well, Rita and Lynnard are gonna be staying with someone whom still sees him as family, Shirley and I think she may have strayed from the loud last name too, after what Leonard did to you. So, they will stay with Shirley for the time being, and we're also gonna be sending Vanzilla to her too. That ride is theirs and we don't need it."

Lincoln nods, and then he continues to ask. "So, when they are released and stay someplace else, then they will wait for Lynn Jr to come out of juvie, and then they will adopt her and we know that Lynn is going to be released before or after summer?"

Luna then continues to explain. "Around summer, after we graduate and it's going to be something of a sigh of relief for her. The whole idea of Rita and Lynnard adopting LJ thing, was their idea and they just asked me, after all... They asked if we could transfer Lynn to Royal Woods juvie."

That one Lincoln didn't know and then he asks again. "Michelle knows of this?"

Luna nods. "She does, and she made it happen. Are you concerned about what else will come to the future for all of us, kiddo?"

Lincoln thinks abou it. "A little bit, but I know that these changes are all for the better..." Then he realizes and then asks. "Mom, you think it is possible for Gyarados to come here, and spend time for New Year's Eve?"

Luna is surprised to hear this, but then she thinks about this and then she has an idea. "You know what, I think I can talk to Michelle and then to Jordan, and perhaps we can make something to work and be possible. After all, the Rosato's are gonna be with us, and the Sharp's, and it wouldn't be a good thing to let your very large and powerful friend be left alone, even if he does have friends in the lake."

"So, we can make something work, how does that sound kiddo?" Lincoln smiles hearing this and he hugs his mom, and so she returns the hug. The Hisuian Decidueye sees and hears this and so he goes to the backyard, and then he flies off to go and inform Gyarados about this.

The door then opens, and Leslie comes out. "Guys, come on out. A food truck showed up, and selling Shawarma. Lunch is on mom, come on!" This makes Lincoln and Luna happy, and they come out of the house and join in on this.

(Later in the day. Ketcham Park.)

A snowy park, as usual but then some snow boards and sleds come over the snowy hills, and we see that they are the skateboard crew: Ronnie Anne, Sid, Nikki, Laird, Sameer and Casey, and the crew are enjoying this, because there is snow, so skate boarding is not an option.

They all go around the park, on snowboards, though Laird is using a sled and he is trying to keep up. "Hey, wait for me guys!"

At the frozen lake, Lincoln is ice skating with Leslie, Delilah, Jordan and Stella. Stella and Jordan perform some figure eights, and Delilah leaps over them, but then she is in sync when Adelaide skates with her as well. Lincoln and Jordan hold hands and they skate around and have some fun, watching over them all are Luna and Sam.

Sam then speaks. "So, where the heck is Michelle Lewis? I thought she'd be here."

Luna smirks and then she explains. "Michelle said she is at the mayor's office and she is busy chatting with the mayor. When she does come back home, then she'll inform us about the event going down for the Royal Woods New Year's event. This is gonna be big, but we will be celebrating from home of course, and you're family will be in right?"

Sam nods. "Yup, and they are gonna enjoy spending time like what we did with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Another last moment, in the Loud House. The last one for this moment, and it'll be a good one. Soon, as the summer comes, we give away the house back, right?"

Luna nods, and then they continue to watch Lincoln and the others have fun, but then they see Ronnie Anne go by them, and so do the others. Thankfully, Lincoln and the gang evade them all and then they go back to their usual skating, but Laird loses control and he lands in the snow.

"I'm okay." Rosey then goes over, and she pulls Laird out of the snow. "Thank you."

This makes Luna and Sam chuckle, and then Luna has an idea. 'How long has it been since Linc spent some time with the other former family? Because, I think he should spend some bonding time with Lisa, the twins, Lucy, Luan, Leni and Lori. Surely, they will love to do bond with him too.'
