Happy Mother's Day!
This is still their honeymoon. The same rules apply as the last two chapters.
Chapter 48
Adam and Charlette looked into each other's eyes for a few minutes. During that time, they shared a couple of more kisses, and both were grateful for the closeness they were beginning to experience. Adam slowly escorted Charlette back home to the Hogans.
"Charlie, you said that you are moving here. Have you found a place yet?"
"Not yet. I was wanting to start that process today or tomorrow."
"Well, if you want company, I am willing to go with you."
"That would be nice. Thank you."
…
The next morning Elizabeth laid awake on her side facing Jack. They fell asleep on the chaise lounge after their time in the hot tub. They were each wrapped in the hotel bathrobes and were comfortable sleeping outside. After all, Jack was a heater and she loved she could cuddle up to him and keep warm.
She watched him sleep for a few minutes. He looked so relaxed. His mouth was slightly opened but didn't snore. His eyes would move every so often but for the most part they were at peace. His hair was ruffled. He had this little piece of hair in front that would always fall on his forehead while the rest was perfectly combed to the side. He hated it, but she thought it was adorable. He would often fuss with it, but she was always grateful when it would inevitably fall back down. She moved slightly to look at his chest and grinned when he slightly pulled her to him in a protective manner while he was still sleeping. Even in his sleep, he put her first.
She admired his chest. It was defined but not too muscular. She closed her eyes as she ran her hand lightly over his chest. When she closed her eyes, she smelled his cologne that was still faint on him. She opened his robe a little more to see his stomach. She sighed at this sight. It moved her more than she was willing to admit publicly. She was always a little shy discussing intimate matter with anyone. With her husband, intimacy was quickly becoming important to her. She never would have thought this would be the case, but Jack woke up a part of her that laid dormant for her adult years.
Her time with Jack was not what her friends told her about, and she was grateful for that. Their time with their boyfriends or husbands seemed a duty, something to tolerate or endure with very little joy for themselves. With Jack, it was absolute pleasure. She grinned at the thought of his nerves that made him buy that book. "He has nothing to be nervous about!" She whispered to herself. She loved her husband because he was so nervous about that aspect of their relationship and took steps to improve it. She felt bad for her friends. She leaned down to slowly caress his chest with her lips. She very slowly made her way up to his collar bone. She found that spot last night in the hot tub. The exploring and finding new spots were exciting and they drove her deeper.
While kissing and gently sucking his collar bone, he slightly moved but did not wake up. For some odd reason, she was grateful for that. She wanted to explore him while he was asleep. She slowly moved to his neck and his chin. She smiled at his stubble that tickled her. She placed a soft kiss on his lips and began to move to his spot that drove him crazy.
She untied her robe but did not take it off. Slowly she kissed while she narrowed in on her target. Jack's ear lobe was like hers, his weakest spot. Once she kissed it and gently nibbled, he would wake up. It drove him crazy, and she loved the power she had when she did. She got to his ear and decided to blow gently in his ear. He did not react at all. So, that does nothing. Good to know. She leaned back to look at Jack and noticed he was still asleep. His breath was calm. She was quite proud of herself that she was able to explore him so gently that he didn't know it. She wasn't sure why that made her feel so good, but she was proud nonetheless.
She lowered her gaze back to Jack's chest. She gently ran her fingers over his chest and then down the middle of his sternum. She reached Jack's stomach and then moved her fingers in light, small circles. Jack slightly moved but still didn't wake up. When she knew he was still asleep, she opened his robe a little more and then slowly moved her hands down his body until she reached his thighs. She loved his muscular thighs. Then she reached his calves and gently massaged them for a couple of minutes. Her little exploration of her husband's body was turning her on faster than she would have thought.
Slowly and gently, she reversed her course and worked her way back up his body. She took time with his thighs, stomach, and chest to reexamine each part of her husband. She was applying his body to her memory. The fact that she did this and didn't wake him was strangely rewarding to her. She reached Jack's neck and began making the journey to his ear with her lips.
She had a mischievous grin overcome her face knowing her next action would be a game changer. Jack would instantly wake up. She didn't even feel bad about waking him up. She knew the ear was a point of no return. Once she would take his ear into her lips, he would be turned on and there were no stopping it. To be honest, she had no desire to stop it. She was the same way when he paid attention to her ear. It took all of her self control to slowly lean in to her target. She enjoyed this game and didn't want it to end too quickly. However, her actions were turning her on and she couldn't stop it, and she didn't want to.
The moment she touched his ear lobe, he gasped. She giggled knowing the game was on. She quickly pulled herself over him and straddled him with a leg on each side. She did not let go of his ear lobe. She took more control of it and nibbled even a little harder. He moaned and his moans always had the same effect on her. They drove her deeper. His hands instantly reached for her, and they went inside of her robe since she had untied it. His hands landed on her hips, and he pulled her closer to him. He never opened his eyes. She giggled when she felt his reactions and knew the game was on. She smiled victoriously like she climbed the highest mountain in record time.
"Jack, I love you."
"Elizabeth!" His eyes were still closed. "I love you."
"Jack, I would like to try something new."
It took a moment for Jack to breath. He knew his heart stopped. "Elizabeth, you are in complete control."
…
During their walk yesterday, Elizabeth noticed a small little Italian restaurant that was really cute and it didn't look touristy. They walked in and took a seat. The restaurant sat about forty people and most of the customers seemed like locals. They notice a small instrumental band playing in the corner. There was a violin, a small piano, and an empty chair with a case on it. The band was nice and not too loud.
When they sat at the table, a pretty waitress walked up and told them about the specials. They each ordered a salad and Jack ordered a sweet tea and Elizabeth an unsweet tea.
They sat back in their chairs looking over the menu holding hands. The waitress walked up with their dinks and bread. The band is great, but they are missing a member today. Jack and Elizabeth smiled at the young woman.
"Do you know what you would like to have?"
"No. Can you suggest anything."
"The Hawaiian trio is the favorite amongst the locals. We don't get too many tourists in here, but they usually order the alfredo or the lasagna. Both of which is very good."
Elizabeth looked up at her husband and then spoke. "We will take two of your Hawaiian trios please."
"Perfect. Enjoy the music and they take requests if you have one. Food should be ready in fifteen minutes."
"Thank you."
Both of them moved their seats a little closer to each other and were holding hands enjoying the atmosphere and time together. There was a silence between them, but it was not awkward. They enjoyed listening to the music, but Jack could tell something was a little off. During a five minute break the band walked to the bar to retrieve two bottles of water.
"I think they are missing their saxophone player." He mentioned to Elizabeth quietly.
"Yeah?"
"Excuse me, how did you know that?" The piano player asked. He had overheard Jack's statement and was impressed he knew.
"Just a lucky guess." He smiled at the man.
"Yeah, I don't think so. You play?"
Jack started to shake his head, but Elizabeth spoke up. "Yes, he does. He plays the piano, guitar, and the saxophone." She grinned but didn't look at Jack. She didn't have too to know the look he was giving her. She has never heard him play either the saxophone or the piano before and was beginning to hope that today would solve that little problem.
"Well, if you would like, we have a saxophone ready to be played. We would love for you to join in. We are so used to playing with the sax that it throws us off when John can't be here."
Jack began shaking his head. "It has been a long time since I played, and we just ordered our food." Jack was trying to get out of the invite.
"Jack." Elizabeth stretched out his name. He moaned at that moment knowing he was going to play. He loved and hated that she had this power over him. "I haven't heard you play yet, and it would be a great honeymoon present if you would play for me." She gave him a pouty look while rubbing her thumb over the back of his hand. She knew she had him.
"That's not fair! You know I can't say no to you when you say my name like that and that pouty thing you do with your lips and your eyes."
"Jack" She doubled down on her actions. "I would love to hear you play…for me." She topped it all off with sad eyes.
"Oh…good…grief! It's not fair that you have this power over me!"
"I like it!" Exclaimed a smiling, victorious Elizabeth. She loved this power she had over her husband.
The piano player was sitting back and smiling at the encounter. "Are you two on your honeymoon?"
"We are!" A smiling Elizabeth told him.
"You two must have been dating a long time."
"No. We meet under a month ago."
"A month!?" Asked the shocked man.
"Yes. We just knew so why wait?"
The man smiled at both of them. "Let's go Jack before she has you scheduled to play for the next week."
Elizabeth smiled at her husband and kissed his cheek when he bent down. "You owe me." He stated.
"I think you owe me from this morning."
Jack sighed with a smile. "That was…I don't think I have the words to describe that. I will remember that for the rest of my life."
"We'll have to see how many of those moments we can make." She smiled that perfect smile that was only for Jack. "Play well my love."
…
Frank and Abagail were sitting on the porch enjoying the day. They had a great morning and was just enjoying the company of each other.
"Frank, are you ok with everything that is happening in our little family?"
"I am sweetheart. Why do you ask?"
"I was just wanting to make sure you were ok with all the changes."
"I am fine sweetheart. Henry has been a great addition to our family, and he has settled in well. Jack and Elizabeth are happy and deeply in love. Charlette is moving here and her and Adam is getting to know each other. Tom and Julie are moving here, and they seem nice."
"Yeah. It's a lot of changes but really good changes."
"Yes, they are. Are you good with everything?"
"I am. I am thinking about making sure I am home when Henry gets home from school. Other than that, I am good."
"We can work our schedules to make sure one of us is home. I'm wondering if he is wanting to play a sport or something."
"We'll have to check and see what he wants to do."
…
Jack slowly walked on the stage and opened the case. The saxophone was in excellent condition. Whoever owned it took great care of it. Jack knew the instrument would work perfectly. After taking out the sax he placed the case on the floor behind the chair. He had a habit of placing his legs beside him on the floor while playing and he didn't want to kick the case while he played. He settled on the chair and looked up at his smiling wife. He was surprised at her expression. She was smiling and sitting on the edge of her seat. She had a look of adoration and complete love.
Jack quickly settled into playing. The other members quickly realized Jack had some talent. They would check with him to make sure he knew the songs. After the third song, they just quit asking. He seemed to know them all. With the band at full strength, the restaurant began to get quite busy with customers coming to listen to the music and then deciding to stay and eat. The waitress place Elizabeth and Jack's order on hold until he was finished playing with the group.
Elizabeth freely admitted that the saxophone was her favorite instrument now. Jack was right, it was a sexy instrument. She was certain that Jack made it sexy. Elizabeth also noticed that she wasn't the only woman in the restaurant who was looking at Jack. She noticed several females paying close attention to her husband.
When Jack played, he concentrated on the instrument. Every so often he would look up and smiled with his eyes at Elizabeth. The other women noticed him doing this but couldn't figure out where he was looking. Elizabeth knew who held his attention. At first she was nervous because of the other women but quickly realized her husband had eyes only for her. She felt comfortable with Jack, no matter who was paying him attention.
Jack smiled at his wife and leaned in to ask the two other men a question, but he never took his eyes off of her. This made her heart stop for two reasons. First, his eyes bored through her as if they were looking in her soul. That made her heart flutter with excitement. She didn't know how he was able to move her to her foundations with a simple look, but he could. Secondly, she was wondering what he was up too. She knew his look when he was being mischievous.
The two men smiled. The piano player leaned forward to a mic and began speaking. "This young saxophone player is on his honeymoon, and he is wanting to play a special song for his bride. All the ladies swooned at the gesture. A few still had their eyes glued on him. They didn't seem to care if he was married or not. Elizabeth didn't even notice them anymore. Her eyes were glued on him.
The piano and violin player stepped aside and let Jack have center stage. He took a deep breath to calm himself. He was a little surprised how easily playing the saxophone came back to him. He was about to play Careless Whisper by George Michael.
As he began to play, he smiled as he placed his lips on the mouth piece of the instrument. He locked eyes with Elizabeth, and he began playing the song. Elizabeth noticed it immediately. She has seen many movies with this song in it. He played it flawlessly. He never took his eyes off of Elizabeth. She read every thought he was having. This was the benefit of their communication.
She watched him intently. He placed his feet beside the chair and tapped his right foot to help him keep his rhythm. While he worked the instrument, he had a faint smile on his face and a huge smile in his eyes. She lost count at eight with the 'I love you' look she could see in his eyes. She was swooning at this precious man, along with about every woman in the restaurant.
When Jack finished, the place erupted in applause. He took a couple of deep breaths but never took his eyes off of his bride. After standing, cleaning the instrument, and placing it back into the case, the two men who played with him shook his hand and patted him on the back. When he turned around, there were two women trying to gain his attention. He quickly dismissed them without being rude. He only had his mind on the beautiful woman who stole his heart a few weeks ago.
When he walked back to their table, Elizabeth stood and embraced him with a tender kiss on the lips. "Jack, that was incredible!"
"Thank you, Elizabeth.
"I didn't know you could play that well. Have you ever thought of playing professionally?"
"Oh no. I'm not that good. We would just sit on the porch and play with pa."
"Well, you had a large fan club today."
"A fan club?"
"Jack, you didn't see all the girls flirting with you?"
"Nani, I only saw one and I am grateful she was willing to flirt with me."
"Which one was she?"
"Silly, it was you. All I saw was you."
She looked into his eyes and realized he was being completely honest with her. She felt incredibly blessed to be with him. When they sat back down, the waitress walked up to their table and told them she just placed their order, and it would be ready soon. When the waitress left, a man walked toward them smiling.
"Jack, that was incredible. My name is Michael, and I am the manager. Thank you for stepping in and playing with the group."
"You're welcome."
"Did I hear correctly that you two are on your honeymoon?"
"Yes, we are."
"Congratulations. That's great. For playing with the group today, your meal is on the house today."
"Oh, you don't have to do that."
"No problem, Jack. When you guys started playing, the restaurant filled up with people. It is the least we can do."
"Well, thank you."
Their meal came quickly, and they enjoyed their meal. They both agreed it was delicious and they wanted to come back before heading home. Throughout the meal, people would walk by and thank Jack for playing. Many people in the restaurant were impressed with his playing.
"I'll only come back if you don't make me get up there and play."
"Jack, I didn't make you get up there and play." She huffed.
Jack laughed, "Are you serious?" He adjusted himself in his chair and tried to mimic Elizabeth's voice. "Jack" He drew out his name just like she did. "I would love to hear you play…for me." Then he gave her his best pouty face and batted his eyes at her. His impression of her made her laugh. He continued in her voice. "You playing would be the greatest honeymoon gift."
"I wasn't that bad!"
"Elizabeth." He warned.
"Ok…ok…I did lay it on pretty thick."
"Yes you did."
She leaned in and gently kissed his lips. "Forgive me."
"Absolutely, dear. I cannot tell you no."
"And for that," she grinned, "I'm eternally grateful."
…
Charlette and Adam spend most of the evening together. They ate at Abagail's café and enjoyed a nice stroll around the same park Elizabeth and Jack walks around. He invited her to go to his house and watch a movie since it was still early. They began to watch a movie but that didn't last long. She looked up at him during a funny portion of the movie and saw a look in his eyes that made her want to kiss him. She leaned over and kissed him gently on the lips. That one kiss turned into two and then into three. Before they knew it, the movie was over, and it was time to take her back to the Hogan's house.
"I'm sorry we missed the movie, Charlie."
"Well…" She began embarrassedly. "I'm not." She whispered.
"Well, me either."
"Adam, you need to understand I have my limits until marriage." Then she gasped thinking he may think she was forcing him.
"Charlie, I agree. Sex should only be between married couples.'
"Adam, I wasn't implying…"
"I know, Charlie. But that doesn't mean we can't kiss…right?"
"Right."
…
Jack and Elizabeth finished off a very busy few days. On Tuesday, they went on their sightseeing and snorkeling adventure. The boat ride was great, but it was a little long. It was all day, and they were ready to be back on dry ground. They did love the snorkeling and promised to do it again before they leave the island. That was the only set day on their schedule. The rest of the week and a half was completely up to what they wanted to do when they wanted to do it. Wednesday, they decided to rent a jeep and go hiking. They hiked all day and enjoyed a picnic lunch on an overlook that was on the edge of a cliff and all you could see was the ocean. Their hike finished at the top of a volcanic mountain. The views were impressive, and they had plenty of photos to show friends.
While renting the jeep on Wednesday, Jack noticed a brochure about a scenic view from an ancient volcano. You could rent mopeds for the day to explore. The views from the volcano were a popular spot for painters to paint the Hawaii scenery. Jack also noticed a place where you could purchase art supplies. He made plans for Thursday without telling Elizabeth about it. He wanted it to be a surprise.
…
The following morning, he woke her up with the news of their adventure for the day. She was excited to get it started and they dressed quickly. The walked to the rental place and both received red mopeds. They stopped by the art place and bought enough supplies for them both to sketch for the day. After packing their supplies, they stopped by the grocery store to buy enough food for the day.
They were able to park the mopeds at the lookout parking lot. When they walked the trial for about two minutes, the trees opened to the most beautiful view from the volcano over the island. They could see the land and even their resort. Just beyond that, the ocean was laying in its majesty. They knew this was the place they wanted to spend the day sketching. Many people would go to the other lookout that was promoted by the brochures, but his one was special. This spot was recommended by the gentleman who sold them the art supplies. He promised them this view was better than the other view.
They each sketched three different views. They admired each other's work and was happy to spend a few hours there. They packed their sketches into tubes they bought to mail them home instead of trying to pack them in their suitcases. They spend time eating and then talking while they looked out over the island.
They both considered this the best day so far. The breeze was perfect and kept the temperature perfect. Jack would steal several glances at his bride. She was beautiful. With her sitting there with her legs stretched out in front of her, they looked like they went on for miles. The black shorts fit her comfortably. She was wearing a tank top with a short sleeve shirt that wasn't buttoned over it. The shirt flowed over her shoulder with the breeze. Her skin was already tanned from the sun, and she glowed. Her hair was a little messy and hanging over her shoulder. He loved when her hair did that.
He began to scoot closer to her and place his lips on her exposed shoulder. "Elizabeth, you are beautiful. You are funny. You are smart. You are sexy." With that last statement, he captured her ear lobe with his teeth. It wasn't a hard nibble, but it was a nibble that left no doubt what was on his mind.
She jumped at his action. "Jack!"
He smirked when she said his name but didn't stop the assault on her ear lobe.
"Jack! We can't here. We are in public."
"Elizabeth, we are alone. I love you and you are absolutely gorgeous right now."
He continued on her ear lobe trying his best to convince her that it would be ok.
"Jack…" Was all she could say. He didn't know it yet, but he had already convinced her.
"E-liz-a-beth" He drew out her name.
"Jack Thornton! Stop doing that!"
"Doing what?" He smirked. "I love you and I would like to make love to my wife."
"Jack, that's not fair." Was the last words she spoke before he captured her lips with his. He slowly moved his lips along her jawline kissing and nibbling as he went. He knew how to get her going and she was grateful for that. He leaned her back on the blanket they had used for the picnic and loved her completely.
…
Afterward, they laid there holding hands trying to catch their breaths. This has become their routine after loving making. Their time together was intense, passionate, and full of love. Both were certain this aspect of their lives together was perfect like the rest of their relationship. They just could not get enough of each other.
"Jack, do you think this part of our lives will ever become routine?"
Jack placed his elbow under him so he could look at her in her eyes. "Elizabeth. I hope not. I know this is new for us, but I think it's much more than just being knew. I am not saying the rest of our lives will be exactly like this, but I hope it doesn't become routine. I don't want to take this for granted. This is a special moment between us, and I hope it will always stay that way. If you ever feel that I am letting you down in this area, please tell me."
"I will, Jack. I promise. Will you promise me the same thing? I don't want this to not be special or just something we do. I understand not every time will be in a gorgeous resort or on a beautiful volcano mountain lookout, but I don't think that is what makes this so special."
"I agree sweetheart. I promise I will tell you."
"I know this is an important part of marriage. It is not the most important aspect but an important part nonetheless." Elizabeth continued. "I want to be everything for you. I love you."
"And I want to be everything for you too. So, for that to happen, we need to make us a priority. If we do that, everything else, including this, will be exactly what we need." He finished with a kiss on the tip of her nose.
"I love it when you do that."
"Do what?"
"When you kiss me on the tip of my nose. It's so intimate and meaningful to me."
He kissed her on the lips this time with all the love and gentleness he could.
"I love you, Nani."
"I love you, Dimples."
