Next day, and time for the loud son to see his mom, who has changed and become someone he once saw and loved long ago. This sure is going to be something, and some questions to ask as well. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter guys.

Chapter 697: A new Luna Loud look.

(January 8, the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The morning dawns once again, and Lincoln Loud wakes up, and he looks around and sees that the bed of his mother is empty, but he does see her sitting on her chair and in front of the mirror and she brushes her hair, but then she turns around and sees her son now awake. "Hey there, Lincoln. Good morning."

Luna's attire: A purple polo, inside of a white short sleeved jacket, purple skirt, black shorts, white socks and black shoes. Her hair then has a purple head band, with a purple bow.

Lincoln gets out of bed, and he goes over and embraces Luna. Luna chuckles, and she returns the hug. "What's this one about, Linc? I mean, I don't mind the hug, but is something bothering you son?"

"Nothing's wrong mom, I'm just glad to see you as the Luna I knew long ago" replied Lincoln. "I love you mom, I love you so much."

Luna smiles hearing this, and she returns the hug, and kisses his forehead. She is glad she made this plan, and she sees that it is turning out great for her son, something he missed long ago that was removed ever since she rocked n' rolled.

We now see Lincoln and Luna, and the duo head to the dining room and they meet up with Delilah, Leslie and Michelle. Harriet is there too, and she is going through the newspaper, and she helped make the breakfast.

"Good Morning everyone!" replied Luna.

The others liked seeing this new kinda side to Luna, almost like she is reborn again, but that would be a little bit to cliché.

Michelle then speaks. "Gotta say, Lunes. I like this new look, and I gotta know... Is this a temporary thing?"

Luna then has a plate of bacon and eggs, with some fried rice for herself and Lincoln. "temporary Michelle, and yeah this look is something I have been wondering, and that thing is that what would happen if I never did go into the whole rock n' roll gig."

Delilah then asks. "Let me guess, you got the answers from the other world versions?"

Luna nods, and she enjoys her breakfast, alongside her son. "Yup. She explained to me about a Luna Loud who went one whole school year as a whole different Luna, and a Luna Loud from another world who said no to the concert tickets and remained the Luna her little brother knows, and so I gotta try this out and I gotta say, this feels nice. Brings back a lot of good memories from long ago."

Lincoln then hugs Luna, and she returns the hug, she knows how much this means to him to see someone whom he thought would never come back. Luna is happy to do this, and then she sees Leslie raise her hand. "You have a question, Leslie?"

Leslie nods and then she asks. "So, are you a rock n' roll gal still?"

Luna chuckles, and then she explains. "Still am. Sure I might look a tad bit different, but take note that this is all something to show the Luna who was meant to be. I can still rock n' roll on my axe, and perform with the band. The look, this will be around till Graduation Day, and I look forward to spending these moments with you guys as this."

"Also, I will be performing with a ton of other musical stuff when doing gigs that are going to be something wicked awesome. Something I wanna experiment on doing a combo of different musical instruments and how they sound on stage, and we don't have a musical gig until the week after next week. So, that means I have time to spend with family."

They're all happy to hear this, and they all cannot wait to see what else Luna Loud has been planning, they can tell that Lincoln is going to enjoy seeing his mom, in a whole new look. Delilah on the other hand, she has some concerns.

'What the heck is gonna happen when she goes to school? How will everyone else react?'

(Later in the day.)

We head to the backyard, and here we see Lincoln Loud, Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, and the trio are once again on the large hammock and enjoying some peace and quiet.

Sam sighs and she looks to Luna, and the brunette Loud, and mother looks to her son, and he is asleep and snuggling close to both. Sam smiles seeing this and then she speaks, but she makes sure she isn't too loud. "So, tomorrow is a time to go to school, huh babe?"

Luna nods. "Yeah, I wanna know how everyone feels when they see me. I honestly don't know what the outcome is going to be, but I will deal with it, as I always deal with things." Luna then looks to Sam. "You prepared for tomorrow babe?"

Sam smirks and she nods. "Are you kidding me? Of course, I look forward to when everyone else sees that Luna Loud has changed, but we don't know the real deal until tomorrow hits. The band and I, we have your back for whatever the heck is gonna go down."

They then look to the sleeping Lincoln, he stirs a little and then he calms down and snoozes. Sam smiles and sees that he looks adorable, and then she asks. "So, when do you wanna spend some time with sweet little Linky?"

Luna knows what she means, and she thinks about this. "Perhaps on January 14, but I need to talk with Linc about this and see if he is chill with that idea."

Luna then shares a small kiss with Sam, they then close their eyes and take in the peace and quiet of the backyard, and dream away on what would happen, in the future.

Jordan is busy training with her new Pokémon companion, Dreepy and the little guy is doing the best he can, battling against a dragon type who wants to clash, and that dragon type is Shelgon.

Shelgon.
Endurance Pokémon. Dragon Type.
Its armored body makes all attacks bounce off. Inside Shelgon's armor-like shell, cells are in the midst of transformation to create an entirely new body. This Pokémon's shell is extremely heavy, making its movements sluggish. Covering Shelgon's body are outgrowths much like bones. The shell is very hard and bounces off enemy attacks. When awaiting evolution, this Pokémon hides away in a cavern. It hardly eats while it awaits evolution. It becomes hardier by enduring hunger. Its shell peels off the instant it begins to evolve. Evolved from Bagon, and evolves into Salamence.

This Shelgon came from the mountains, and seeks a battle and so battle it shall have and Jordan is doing the best she can, to ensure that Dreepy can fight with everything he's got and this battle is just getting started in the backyard, and the Pokémon in the lake watch this, even Seaking, Gyarados and the Hisuian Decidueye Knockback.

Dreepy dodges all the attacks from Shelgon and even sends a shadow ball, which knocks Shelgon back, but then he uses protect and goes in for a takedown. Dreepy vanishes, and this surprises Shelgon, then Dreepy reappears, but uses double team and know Shelgon is surrounded.

Shelgon didn't like this, and so he uses roll out and takes down all the illusions, and Dreepy is now in trouble and he dodges and evades all of Shelgon's attacks, and he feels like he will not win this fight, but then the bushes nearby rustle and another Dreepy comes out.

The other Dreepy acts as a diversion, and is not even a double team and then uses shadow ball, and the other Dreepy uses focus beam, and they manage to stun the Shelgon, and so both Dreepy's fly in and they disappear and then appear in front of Shelgon, and they both uses some supersonic screech, and this stuns Shelgon.

Both Dreepy's then take to the sky, and they both use dragon's rage, and Jordan didn't see this coming. Dreepy's then let loose their attack, and Shelgon is hit. Both Dreepy's come back down, and then they both glow, well one of them glows brighter, and then everything changes, and Jordan realizes. "No way, evolution?!"

Drakloak.
Caretaker Pokémon. Ghost and Dragon Type.
It's capable of flying faster than 120 mph. It battles alongside Dreepy and dotes on them until they successfully evolve. Without a Dreepy to place on its head and care for, it gets so uneasy it'll try to substitute any Pokémon it finds for the missing Dreepy. Evolved from Dreepy and evolves into Dragapult.

Drakloak roars, and hisses. Shelgon is not intimidated and he goes in to attack, but Drakloak flies off and then dodges and maneuvers through the fight, and then he tackles Shelgon, and then the Dreepy on his head, sends some shadow balls, stunning Shelgon.

Seeing the window of opportunity, Drakloak uses will=o-wisp, and this startles Shelgon, but that is a diversion and Drakloak goes in for dragon rage, but Shelgon uses protect to counter this. Drakloak as just playing, and then stops and uses mean look.

Shelgon is stunned, and his defenses are down, and this is what Drakloak needed, and with the help from the other Dreepy, they both use dragon rage and it strikes down onto Shelgon, as the smoke clears, the Shelgon is now down and out.

All the Pokémon cheer, and Jordan goes over towards Drakloak. "Oh gosh, you evolved and now have a baby to take care of?"

Drakloak sees the Dreepy on his head, and it squeals and then Drakloak nods. Jordan smiles. "This is alright with me, the others are going to be surprised when they hear of this, mostly Lincoln."
