Time to go to school, and deal with whatever the heck is coming next, and one of which involves Luna Loud, and her new change. This is going to be something, so enjoy reading this new chapter guys.

Chapter 698: A new look and back to school.

(January 9, the Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

The morning routine is done, and we now see Lincoln Loud, and his mother, Luna Loud leave the bedroom, with their school things and both dressed for the day.

Lincoln Loud's attire: An orange and purple striped jacket, over an orange and white sleeved buttoned polo shirt, blue pants and white sneakers with purple flame patterns.

Luna Loud's attire: White long sleeved buttoned shirt, purple sleeveless sweater, and dark purple skirt with black shorts, white socks and black shoes, and a purple hair band with a purple bow.

The duo have all they need, and then Luna heads to her car and they look around and recall. "Right, right. Leslie and Delilah have to go to their schools early, to have a meeting with their clubs for what they gotta do for this year, sounds fair enough" replied Lincoln.

Luna then speaks. "Michelle said she has to go to the office and help the mayor with more of the plans for this year for the town. I honestly cannot believe that she is going to prepare the Halloween event this early, wow she is prepped up and ready."

Lincoln then sees his Pokémon companion, the Hisuian Decidueye is on the roof, and he waves to him and Knockback does the same, and then he takes to the skies and circles their area, he is also coming along to keep a close eye on Lincoln at school.

Lincoln and Luna then go into her car, and they drive off, Harriet waves to them and then she goes back into the house. "Time for another episode of Paranormal Encounters, and see how dumb and almost fake some of it is."

Harriet turns on the TV, and she has the remote, but then she looks to the house, which is their neighbor well former neighbor and this has her thinking. 'I wonder, who will move into that house now? Grouse is not coming back, things sure have changed ever since.'

Harriet then watches her show and she groans. "You call that a haunting? I can literally see those nylon wires, and also that fake blood is legit just maple syrup and food coloring."

(Royal Woods Middle School.)

Lincoln is dropped off, and he heads towards the school, he does notice Knockback on the roof of the school, with Rosey and then he spots Clyde and they walk together. "So, how have things been buddy?" asked Clyde.

"All good, a lot has changed and the new look on my mom is something I can adapt and appreciate" replied Lincoln. "She really does bring back the memories from long ago, and it feels like a part of her is now back and ready to spend time with me, just like old times."

"Good for you buddy" replied Clyde. "As for me, well I got some big stuff this week, and one of which is to keep an eye on the house for the whole day."

Lincoln is confused hearing this. "Wait, what? Why?"

"My dad's told me, that they have to go and check on Nana Gale, she plans something big for the next McBride reunion, but she wants to talk to my dad's about this new plan" replied Clyde. "They'll fill me in on it, when they get back. But I am staying home, so I can binge watch the British bakeoff with Chloe, that and also because our house sitter is going on vacation soon."

Lincoln nods. "I see, well I know that you can handle those chores. You are the best there is when it comes to being all neat and tidy, clean and always organized. Right?"

"Dang right." Lincoln and Clyde then fist bump, then they meet up with Jordan and she has some big news for Lincoln, and it involved something from the other day.

But as they go into the school, they don't know that Ronnie Anne and Sid are walking by them, and the duo are talking about the band known as 12 is Midnight, and apparently they are planning on a new music video, and it's gonna take place somewhere in Great Lakes City. That means, these two are going back there, to bear witness this.

(Royal Woods High School.)

Luna is inside the school, and she goes down the hallway and she greets a lot of students, and some she knows, but she does notice some guys looking at her, almost like they don't know her. Luna is concerned about this, and also confused. Luna then sees Sam. "Hey, Sam."

"Hey there, Lunes." The duo hug, and then they walk together. "A lot of guys are looking at you, and I think the new look is the sole reason."

Luna nods. "Yeah, does seem kinda off and I don't like these guys trying to get close to me. I mean, I have you in my life and Lincoln sees it too, and I doubt that..." They see a notification on their phones, and this confuses Luna. "Wait, what? I'm not a new girl."

Sam reads it on her phone. "Spotted this new and pretty girl in the school." She sighs. "Oh, you have gotta be kidding me? This is not good, looks like the plan has made things into something else different, and now the whole school thinks you are the new girl around."

"But Principal Rivers and her assistant knows it's me, even the band and some of our friends" replied Luna. "This is not gonna do good, chances these guys will try and ask me out. I gotta try and handle this, before I start changing plans and getting rid of this look a little too early."

Sam then has an idea. "How about this, when the time comes and if we do have the time spare, we can have a meeting about some plans? We can have Lincoln tag along, he has to know about this before it spirals out of control."

Luna thinks about this, she sees a guy wanting to come over, and he is using breathe mint and combing his hair and she knows what this guy is trying to do, and so Luna opens her locker, but she uses her foot to knock away the wet floor sign and the guy slips and lands into the trash bin.

Luna closes the locker and she has her things. "Yeah, we can do that on January 11. Come on, let's go and see the others and what they think about this." Luna and Sam then walk away, and hold hands to keep others from coming over, this is not the kind of reaction they were expecting.

But something else comes into Luna's thoughts. 'I need to speak with my hero version, and ask her about the other Luna's, to see if they have been through the same ordeal as well.'

A/N: Looks like Luna Loud's new look has stirred up some changes, which doesn't seem quite right for her, but she will have to find some way to deal with it. Enjoy reading this newly posted chapter guys.
