Daniel, Alluka and Killua have a talk.

A\N: I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I'm back and next week will begin the next Arc… which I still have no official name for *embarrassed* Alluka will get her time to shine, well… develop.

There will also be sprinkles of Gon, Iason and Sakura every now and then…

That being said… onto the story.

The three were on their last stop, laying down in a hotel off one of the busier streets. Given that they could be attacked at any given moment, being in an off-street Motel sounds like a nightmare situation.

They wanted to give any possible enemy no chance to escape without being seen.

Victor may be able to hide himself, from the public eye, but it looks like he can't if his image is caught on camera or video.

They've made sure to always look at his picture, able to recall the name without a single issue. If one or both can't, they'll know they're in danger. Killua moved the heavy bag off to the side, the metal plates clinking as they shifted on the carpet.

Killua moved into the kitchen, taking note of the number of bags they had packed "Only two left…" One was Daniel's bag, the other was one of Alluka's. He paused before heading towards Alluka's room, peeking in "Need help?"

The boy had walked in at the worst possible time. He saw his partner's foot pressed against the bag, holding it down as he tried to zip the over-packed bag. He was about to raise a finger, to question the situation, but instead, he decided to watch in amusement.

When the bag was finally zipped up, Killua made his presence known "I take it you need another bag…"

Alluka looked apologetically at her brother "Yeah…"

Daniel stretched out his arms, groaning out loud as though he were waking up from a few decades power nap "I'm afraid to open it… like if you were to open it right now, would the clothes explode out of that over-packed bag?"

"Maybe not that bad…" Killua muttered under his breath, "I'm going to make a call to Ashton. Daniel, why don't you and Alluka pack the last of your stuff, then we'll head out. We can make it to her office in a few hours… how's that sound?"

"Sounds good, we'll have a little talk to pass some time." Daniel shifted his attention to Alluka, now smiling at her, "Maybe we can help you figure new things to ask Ashton or something…"

"I'd like that…" Alluka hugged the boy, "thank you…"

Killua left a smile, heading out to the balcony.

"~"

The boy dialled the number, waiting for a pick-up tone. When he heard the click, he opened his mouth "Hi-"

"If this is a spam call, lose my number…" There was a hint of agitation, the sudden switch of tone becoming softer on the next statement catching Killua off guard "However, if it's a fan of my work, my number isn't public knowledge, so how did you get it?"

Killua froze. Talk about being hit by hard-hitting questions, "Right…" The boy took a deep breath, about to speak once more.

"Listen, I'm a busy person and you called my direct num-"

"Jeez, I wasn't expecting this. My name's Killua-"

"Killua…" Ashton interrupted quickly, giving the boy no chance to actually, respond before her next statement "never heard of you."

Wow, she's this kind of person… over the phone, I wonder what she's like in person "Fine, I'll be quick. We got this number from Mikkel, your friends with my boyfriend's father, one of them to be exact… and you may have information, that may or may not help my sister… quick enough for you?"

There was a long pause, Killua pulling away the phone to make sure Ashton hadn't hung up, on him. He waited a few more seconds before speaking up "Uhh… you still there?"

"Yeah… I'm stuck on the second part." The phone was shifted to the opposite ear, Ashton now sitting upright in her chair, "Who's your boyfriend's father, exactly?"

"Vastorie… Darkscryer…"

As the sound of the phone cluttered against an object, Killua pulled the phone away from his ear "Oh my god…" The woman on the phone yelled, scrambling to pick up the phone after a series of profanities flowed from her mouth, "Shit! Fuck! Fuck! Oh, thank God… Hi, yeah sorry. My apologies. I wasn't expecting any of this at all…"

"Neither was I…" Killua pulled the phone back to his ear, "Yeah, so we're on the way to your area and be there in… roughly two to three hours, is it possible we can get an appointment with you?"

"Yes… YES! Most certainly!" The boy heard a beep, "Cancel all my appointments in the next three hours." He was about to correct her, but he heard the beep again, "Correction, cancel my appointments after the next three hours. I'll be getting an important guest… or three, maybe two."

The boy raised an eyebrow, waiting to see if she clarifies something.

"How many are there?"

"Three…"

"Thank you…" There was a slight pause, the boy barely able to hear the next part of the conversation through the receiver "Let the front desk know that, three people will be coming up to the counter and they are to be let up to the penthouse." The next part of the conversation was muffled before he heard a loud and demanding request "Understood?"

The boy heard a muffled voice before Ashton returned to the conversation, "So, I'll be seeing you three later today?"

"We would hope so…"

"Wonderful, when you arrive, let the front desk know. They'll let you up to the penthouse. Make yourselves at home and I'll meet you up there, or if you arrive later than the three hours, you'll meet me. Oh, if you want to get up, use your boyfriend's full name. Sounds good?"

"That sounds great, actually! We'll see you later." Killua hung up, smiling softly at the current situation. The woman would be glad to see them, "It's a good thing she is happy to see us… the question is, how much of her time can we occupy? Only one way to find out, I guess… we ask."

Turning around, he re-entered their hotel room, hoping that everyone was ready to go.

"~"

Daniel led Alluka back to their room, quickly sliding something he saw on the side table into the drawer before Killua's sister could see it. He was surprised Killua missed that, or maybe he left it for him to personally pack it up.

Then again… why would he tell Alluka to help him pack the last of their stuff up…?

Either way, it's a conversation he doesn't want to have without Killua being present. The boy turned to his partner's sister "You start with that wardrobe; I'll grab the rest of my stuff from the drawers."

When Alluka turned around to get to work, Daniel slid the drawer open, sliding the lube into his pocket first. Next, he started with his underwear, folding them.

She cleared the silence, "I wanted to ask you something honestly…"

"Sure, shoot…"

There was a long pause, Daniel raising an eyebrow. When he was about to turn around, Killua's sister spoke up "Actually, forget about it… you'll probably argue it's something you can't speak about."

If he wasn't curious before, he was now "You have piqued my interest… but if you feel that way, you're probably right." When Alluka offered a noise of understanding, he interjected "But, it sounds like something you want to talk about. If I cannot answer your question… I'll let you know, but if there's an off chance I could… you should ask, just to be sure."

Alluka turned around "I understand the solo methods, but exactly how does one do it with a partner."

If the boy had been drinking, he would've spat his drink out "What…?"

"You see, I know you do something, you're not exactly secretive about it."

"Uh-huh…"

"You went out during that one day while Mikkel worked on your weapons…"

"Right…" Daniel sighed, "So first off I can't say what we did…"

"So, you won't say anything?"

"Not exactly…" The boy sighed, "Killua may get upset with me, but you should know something. Without giving away anything, it's called intercourse. We do physical things with each other, but I won't say what… what I will say, it's up to you… with your future partner, or to not leave any possibility out… partners to agree with what the two, or again, more of you, want to do."

Alluka pressed her hands on her hips "So, intercourse… on what my partner and I agree with. What if neither of us knows anything?"

Daniel chuckled at the absurdity of the situation "Killua will talk more later, I can guarantee you that. Unless you plan on getting in a relationship very soon, you'll know something by then. If your partner knows nothing… we'll all have a talk on boundaries or something… nothing too infringing."

"Okay… that's better than nothing, I guess…"

There was a long pause, Alluka eventually building up the courage to ask another question "What if I'm uncomfortable with the idea…?"

"Then you tell them no, consent is an important key to having a physical relationship."

"No, well… that is important. But the uncomfortable part is with… my body. What if I don't want… to you know, to do more, with the… the point I'm trying to get across is, what if I don't want to do things with the body I have?"

Daniel turned around, "I would make a joke about turning the lights off…" the boy leaned against the drawer, "but that would be counter-productive. What you're experiencing is probably body shame… but I could be wrong. It could be something else along those lines… anyways, the simple answer is you don't do anything. Being pressured into it or not… if it's something you don't want to do because your body doesn't match your ideal perspective… you can either; one, work on your body… exercising or whatnot."

Daniel's expression turned grim, "Or option two, change certain characteristics about yourself. I can't believe I'm about to suggest this, but one of those ways, which I highly doubt would work, is through Nanika. However, I would suggest against this. Given what I know of your ability… it might not work. But given that you can communicate with Nanika, it may be possible…"

"I guess…"

"Although now saying this, I want you to promise me something…"

"I promise! I know what you're going to say. My brother is very important to you, so you'd want to talk to him about what you told me… I'm not going to make any wishes with Nanika, even if I know it's what I absolutely, want. We made a promise… no wishes. But if big brother gets upset with you, I will defend you."

"I…" Daniel looked down, closing his eyes as he smiled softly. Looking back up, he continued to smile "Thank you. It means a lot to me…"

With terrible timing, the two heard Killua calling out to them "Alright, let's get going! She said she'll meet us and-" The boy stopped at the doorway, seeing Daniel leaning against the side table and Alluka mid-folding a shirt "You better not be watching my sister as she folds your stuff for you."

"No, we just having a conversation…"

Killua quirked an eyebrow, "Why am I getting a foreboding feeling?"

Daniel sighed, "I may have mentioned the word intercourse… and that it may be possible via Nanika, she could wish for the body she wants."

"YOU DID WHAT?" The boy freaked out, only to bring his hands up to try to calm himself, "Hold on… Hold on…" I may be thinking overthinking, acting irrationally here… I might be taking this situation to the extreme. Daniel usually thinks rationally about these kinds of things, so there's a reason he said it… now there's a reason he's telling me… "Give me the full context. Leave nothing out…"

Daniel told Killua everything he said to his partner.

Killua's expression remained neutral, with hints of anger radiating in his expression. It was subtle, yet the boy refused to blow up in anger. He was only frustrated because he heard it after it was stated, not while he was in the room.

At least Daniel could've talked to him about it before he said anything…

Then again, he couldn't fault his partner for what he said. There was some truth in his statement. Alluka could in theory wish for a new body, if she could already talk to Nanika without having to switch.

They, after all, shared the same body…

The boy eventually sighed, "I'm upset, but what has been said, cannot be unsaid. Unless… I get someone like, your sister involved. After all, her ability makes her able to tamper with memories. But then again… I would never, ask her to do such a thing… Especially, when we hate each other's guts…"

"Killua!"

The boy held up his hand, stopping his sister, "I'm not finished… you have some truth in your words. But can you come to me next time, before you say anything…"

"I understand…" Daniel gave a nod.

"I trust you…" Killua then turned to his sister, "I trust the both of you to not make reckless moves. When the time comes, when you truly know what you want for yourself… I'll stand by you when you make such a choice. But relying on Nanika could be a terrible choice. The last time we made a wish, Gon was brought from the brink of death… My wishes are usually exempt from the next wisher… but we can't say the same for you, since you've never actually wished for something from Nanika, personally…"

"I understand…"

"But I can understand the appeal." Killua interjected once more, "The second thing is, even if you can make a wish, we'll ping our family's radar. They might perceive your wish, with zero context, as a threat to the family, giving Aniki another reason to come back for you… to finish what he started."

"I understand…" Alluka repeated in a meek tone.

Daniel stepped into the conversation, "So you don't disagree with my ideas, you just believe that they won't result in the best outcome?"

"Not necessarily…" Killua rebuffed, "My disagreement lies in the Wish Granting idea, however… if it's the last option we have. If it can truly give Alluka what she needs to make her feel more like herself…" The boy looked towards his partner, "I won't stop her… Her happiness is more important than being cautious…"

"I…" A smile graced Daniel's features "I understand what you mean. It's better to exhaust the safe options first, before giving your family a reason to come after us."

"Exactly…" Killua held a finger out, his smile returning, "I'm not opposed to the possibility, because it can in theory work, especially, if I make the request. But if I'm being honest, it should come from Alluka, herself. It's something she wants for herself. Now…" The boy once more turned to his sister, "At the end of the day… I'll stand by whatever decision you make."

"Big…" Alluka ran into your brother's arms, sobbing quietly into his shirt. Killua was shocked for a moment, only to then circle his arms around his sister, smiling as he comforted her back while stroking her hair.

Daniel cherished the moment before returning to fold his underwear.

Eventually, Killua spoke "So I got in contact with Ashton, we'll be meeting her later today. I'm supposed to mention your name to the front desk, which they'll then let us up to the penthouse. She'll meet us in… three-ish hours from now. But given that you're not completely packed…"

Daniel flinched at his partner's accusation "Sorry, got distracted…"

"It's fine, we'll meet her in the penthouse instead… though, we shouldn't waste too much time here. Let's finish packing up and move on…"

Alluka pulled away after her brother's request "Okay. I'll help my brother and his boyfriend pack."

When she returned to the wardrobe, Daniel slipped the bottle into Killua's pocket, quietly whispering into his boyfriend's ear so that Alluka didn't overhear the comment "You left this out on the stand…"

Killua stuck his hand into his pocket, blushing once he realised what he grabbed. He turned away, moving to stuff it into their essentials backpack. I can't believe I forgot to pack that… I even looked around the room to see if anything was out of place.

The boy looked behind him one final time, taking note of what his sister was doing. She looked so relieved. Whether it was because of what he said, or the fact he didn't get overly upset with his partner, he wasn't too sure…

He was glad Daniel did tell him in the end…

But it wasn't something he couldn't see himself too, upset over.

However, one thing he did notice, during the time of his partner explaining what he said, he did notice there was a slight sense of anxiety coming from his boyfriend. It's as though he anticipated that he'll be upset at him…

But the thing is why would he say something, knowing that he'd get upset…

Did he say it, then realise after the fact that what he said would be impossible to take back? That would make sense, given the way he recounted the story…

He turned to his partner, taking note of the way he folded his shirts, watching each move intently. Daniel is usually careful with his words, so why did he say it this time? It couldn't be… "Hey, Alluka?"

"Hmm, yes big brother?"

"Why didn't you ask me that question instead of Daniel…?"

Alluka froze, now turning to her brother whose gaze was now on her "It's because… you're guarded. You acted secretive when you left with your partner that day. I know you did something… but I also know you won't tell me… but with Daniel, I guess there was a chance…"

"Sorry…" Killua sighed, "Little sis… I just cherish your childlike innocence. I don't exactly want you to find out what we do, but… I won't hold you against it. Daniel already told you something, but not the full details. I'll tell you eventually… I promise. You deserve to know that much." Just hope you don't turn out to be as bad as me… a high, insatiable libido…

"That's all I'm asking for… Again, thank you for not getting upset at your partner for saying something."

"It's not something to get upset over…" The boy fell silent. But what is something I'd get upset over…
