I don't own DxD. Ishibumi does.

A man sorted through the stacks of paperwork on his desk. He sighed and ran a hand through his bright red hair. His blue eyes looked wearily at several proposals made by different families. A request to use Lucifer Castle as the location of a debutante for one Ravel Phenex sat in front of him.

House Phenex… I guess an arranged marriage in this time isn't meant to be, he thought.

The man looked when the door burst open. He smiled softly as he laid eyes upon an extremely beautiful woman. She had back length silver hair, red eyes, and an extremely voluptuous body with large breasts. The woman had a tired and panicked look on her face that he noticed immediately. Her maid uniform was wrinkled as if she had just ran from their house to here.

"Grayfia? What's wrong?" he asked.

"Sirzechs, I can't call Rias. Something's wrong!" Grayfia said.

"Can't call Rias? What if she's studying or doing her homework?" he asked.

"No, that's not it. I can't contact anyone in Kuoh! And when I went to check, there was…"

"Was?"

"There's an overwhelming Divine power there. I think there's a God in Kuoh," Grayfia said.

"What?" Sirzechs immediately got up from his seat. "A God? From which Faction?"

Grayfia's face darkened. She gripped her arm and looked down at the floor. She sucked in air through her teeth before looking up to face her husband. "I think it's her. You know… Master Lucifer's…"

Sirzechs's eyes widened in surprise. "Let's go." Sirzechs stood up. There was a serious expression on his face. Shitty old man, we're gonna need to talk later.

Issei lowered his arm as the light died down. The woman who he referred to as "God" stood over Asia. She removed her hand from Asia's forehead and took a step back.

"Asia?" he ran over and kneeled next to her. Issei grabbed her hand and nearly burst into tears when he felt the warmth returning to her hand. Her chest rose and fell at regular intervals, showing that she was now merely sleeping. A wide smile threatened to split Issei's face in half. "Thank you. Thank you so much," Issei said. "I never thought God of all people would answer the prayer of a Demon." Issei winced a little as a sudden headache came on.

"Worry not, Child of Man. I merely did this on a whim. All I need from you is information," 'God' said, drawing closer.

"I- Information?" Issei said, unconsciously taking a step back. He didn't know why. Perhaps it was the primordial instinct to flee from an apex predator welling up inside the depths of his genetic self.

"Where is the Queen of Conquest?" she asked.

"M- Mother?"

The two turned to see Raynare standing there in a daze. Tears were pooling at the edge of her eyes. "Mother, you've come here… You've come for me?" Raynare fell to her knees. Joy welled up inside her body. For once, Dohnaseek was right. It was her. The Heavenly Mother. The one humans referred to as God. She had come here to smite the Devils in this town and return her to the Heavens for reclaiming a power that was given to that heretic witch.

The one called God regarded her with a cold, unfeeling stare. Raynare didn't seem to notice and continued to spout words of adoration. Her presence appeared to have deluded the angel in Issei's eyes. It was clear that this… entity didn't care for her in the slightest.

Issei's eyes drifted to the stairs where the sound of several footsteps came from. He sighed in relief when he saw Shin and the others arrive alongside Rias and Akeno.

"Senpai?" Issei asked. "How did you guys?"

"We walked in from the basement door at the back. It looks like we have a… guest," Rias said. A bead of sweat trailed down her forehead. She could feel it in her blood. She didn't have to sense this entity's power. Not that she could. However, she could feel it in her body. The need to run.

"Who… is that?" Shin asked.

"No way…," Sophia said. Her eyes were as wide as saucers. "Grandma?"

"Grandma?" Kiba raised an eyebrow. As he was about to talk, water clumped together rapidly as Vivi appeared in between the other members of the Gremory Peerage, Shin, Sophia, Ran, and the Fallen and her God.

"Vivi? What's going on?" Shin asked, seeing the tense expression on her face.

"I didn't want to believe it at first but… the energy is the same," Vivi said. Her form glowed slightly as she readied herself. "We are standing before a God. Not just any God but… God herself. But she's… different from how I remember her. Her aura is… I don't know how to describe it."

Shin's eyes grew wide alongside that of Rias and the others. The one humans worshipped called God. The most worshipped deity on the entire planet was here in their town. The Devils tensed up. Was God here to smite them? To help her Fallen Child? Or was she here for the Fallen? Many questions ran through their heads as they tried to make sense of the situation.

"Heaven has a lot of explaining to do," Rias muttered. She was definitely informing her brother of this encounter.

"Mother! Now that you're here!" their attention turned to Raynare who had walked up to the woman. "Let us kill these filthy demons! Please allow me to reclaim my rightful place among the Heavens, Mother!"

"...loud."

"Huh?" Raynare looked at her with some confusion on her face. In her delusions of grandeur, she had never even noticed that the woman had spoken. But the words she spoke had sent chills down their spines.

"You're too loud," 'God' said, looking at her with a blank expression. Raynare shrank. Her stare was overpowering. She felt like an ant. She was an ant. An ant that stood before an apex predator that could so much as kill her with a single word.

"M- Mother?" Raynare took a shaky step back. "I-..."

"Rias!" A flash of red light appeared in between the two groups, monetarily blinding them and distracting the Entity.

"Nii-sama!" Rias said.

A flash of red light appeared suddenly in the church, catching the attention of all those in the building. Sirzechs and Grayfia stepped out, walking over to them. Their eyes drifted over to the woman. A wave of nausea washed over Grayfia, making her slightly dizzy. The potent divinity that she sensed from her was far greater than they anticipated.

"More of you?" she turned and faced them.

Sirzechs's eyes grew wide when he saw Sophia. The Princess is here too?

"Maou Lucifer! How dare you step foot on holy ground while Mother stands before you!" Raynare barked indignantly. "Mother, I implore you! Let us take care of these people! If you allow me to eliminate these Devils while you take care of the Maou, then surely I can-

Her voice grated against the woman's head. "You're too loud. I told you to be quiet but it seems that you won't listen."

Raynare's mouth snapped shut. She bowed her head before attempting to utter an apology.

"But it seems that you won't stop so…"

Everyone's eyes widened in horror at what happened next. "God's" eyes glowed slightly and then, Raynare screamed. She threw her head up, eyes and mouth open as a searing white light came out from her mouth and eyes. Raynare fell to her knees and writhed on the ground in pain.

Issei watched with wide eyes as the woman who he had once held feelings for squirmed and screamed in unending agony. The tears that fell from her eyes were vaporized by the divine light that poured from her skull.

"Issei…" Raynare reached her hand out towards him. Her eyes were beginning to liquefy ever so slowly. "Help… me…" With those words, the light suddenly died and her hand fell down on the floor. The stench of scorched flesh began to fill the Sanctuary.

Issei's eyes were wide in horror as he picked up Asia and took a step back. Raynare's scorched eyeless orbits stared back at him. Her mouth was wide open and he saw the cooked flesh inside her mouth. Even her teeth were blackened by the extreme heat.

"Y- You just…" Rias felt the words die in her mouth. She had seen death before. She had seen Akeno torture Stray Devils. But never before had she seen someone cook another being from the inside out slowly.

The woman bent over and put her hand inside Raynare's chest. After a few seconds, she ripped out a pair of glowing emerald rings and tossed them to the floor. "Twilight Healing."

"You killed her," Issei said. Raynare might have been evil but she didn't deserve to be tortured to death. A quick death would have sufficed but that. This woman was no God. Her soul was as black and empty as the void.

The woman said nothing as she turned to face Sirzechs. "Maou Lucifer. Daughter of Lucifuge."

Sirzechs clenched his jaw. "Why are you here, God of the Bible?" Sirzechs asked.

"I am here for the Queen of Conquest and nothing else. That is why I shall allow you to walk out of here as long as you allow me to search this town and eliminate her," 'God' said.

"The Queen of… Conquest?" Grayfia raised an eyebrow. She had never heard of anyone going by such a title. Strongest God or Satan Red but never that. And she had been around for a few hundred years. Grayfia had her fair share of odd nicknames as well.

God did not answer her question. She merely spoke her intentions. "Your answer."

"This Queen of Conquest. Can you promise me that no harm shall befall my sister and the other devils in this town as well as its residents?" Sirzechs asked.

"I cannot guarantee it but I shall limit casualties if that is what you wish," God said.

"That's better than nothing," Sirzechs said.

"Why aren't we asking her to leave? She technically came here uninvited," Rias whispered.

"I doubt that whatever she's looking for is here and I don't want to start a conflict, much less get into a fight with the God of the Bible of all people over a search. Neither side is prepared for a War," he answered. Sirzechs turned his attention away from Rias and turned towards God.

"Shin…" Vivi hovered next to him and Sophia. "On my mark, I need you to get ready."

"Get ready?" he asked.

"The woman is searching for the Queen of Conquest," Vivi said. "There is no doubt that she is after-"

"I shall allow you to search this town. However, my Queen and I shall remain here to oversee this," Sirzechs said.

The God narrowed her eyes slightly and nodded. All that mattered to her was this mission. A mission from her. And so, her next action completely caught them all off guard. Without warning, she appeared in between the Gremory group and raised her hand.

Sirzechs had no time to react. Her action was completely unexpected. A burst of kinetic energy burst from her hand and sent everyone flying. They all crashed in different areas of the Sanctuary, groaning in pain.

"SHIN!" Vivi flew next to him. She turned her head and glared at God. "You…"

"You're here as well? You're different from the descriptions I've been told. Pardon me if I did not recognize you," God said.

"Recognize?" Vivi's eyes narrowed in confusion.

However, God had no time to follow up with a response. A black and red orb enveloped her entire body, lifting her into the air. Sirzechs walked over. A small trail of blood fell from his forehead. God's attack was unexpected but now, he had no reason to talk it out. This woman. The clear bloodlust he felt from her. There was no talking it out.

"Leave before I eliminate you," Sirzechs said. If negotiations weren't going to work, he would force her to leave.

"Not until I complete what I came here to do, False Lucifer," God said. She moved her arm and what happened next caused Sirzechs's eyes to grow wide in surprise. The Power of Destruction that surrounded the woman shattered like glass. She levitated in the air above him and raised her hand.

"Nii-sama!" Rias burst from the rubble and fired a series of red and black orbs.

God lazily glanced over at Rias. Rias's orbs harmlessly dispersed as they hit her body. "Do not interfere in my hunt, Descendant of Bael and Gremory." She fired a blast of highly pressurized air at her. The air barreled through the church, ripping the ground apart.

"RIAS!"

Sirzechs teleported in front of her and threw up a magical barrier, blocking the blast of air.

"Rias, I need you to take your peerage and leave this place. I can't go all out with all of you here," Sirzechs said.

"But Nii-sama!"

"No time to argue! GO NOW!" Sirzechs roared. Rias flinched. This was the first time that Sirzechs had ever used that tone against her. She clenched her fist and nodded. Her brother was right. In this fight, he would not be able to protect her and himself.

"Akeno! Kiba! Koneko! Issei! It's time to go!" Rias said.

Sirzechs smiled and turned his attention back to the hovering God. A series of ice spikes surrounded her and converged upon her body. God gripped the hilt of her sword and drew just a few centimeters from the scabbard. The ice was instantly sliced into thousands of pieces that fell harmlessly to the ground.

Grayfia appeared in front of God and summoned a large spear of ice. She launched the spear at blinding speeds.

God raised her hand. As soon as the spear made contact with God's flesh, it shattered. Light condensed rapidly in God's hand. She fired a beam of light at Grayfia.

"Watch out!" Shin appeared in front of her and summoned a blue shield. The force of the impact knocked him into the silver-haired Devil and sent them both flying through the wall.

Sirzechs charged his demonic power. Red and black lightning crackled around him and the ground shook violently. All that the lightning came in contact with vanished into nothingness.

"Don't."

Sirzechs turned to the blue-haired woman. She was looking at the God in front of them with an apprehensive look. "No amount of Demonic or Angelic power will work against her. This is proof of her supremacy over Angels and Devils. The power to negate all Demonic and Angelic Powers."

"So my Power of Destruction has no effect on her?" Sirzechs asked. "And Grayfia's Magic won't have any effect either. Looks like…"

"Yes, you'll have to fight her by hand," Vivi said.

Sirzechs glanced over at his sister and her peerage who were making their way to the door.

Rias glanced over her shoulder and gave her brother a smile. A red magic circle appeared underneath them. As they prepared to teleport, a blast of white light knocked them off their feet.

Sirzechs quickly turned his eyes back to God, whose hand was raised and pointed at Rias's Peerage. He unfurled his wings and took off towards the deity with tremendous speed. God turned around, sensing Sirzechs's approach. However, Sirzechs moved faster than she could react.

Being careful not to infuse any demonic energy into his hand, he punched God in the face, sending her flying through the roof of the church. He quickly followed after her. As he neared her, Sirzechs threw another punch. A shockwave ripped through the sky, dispersing every cloud within hundreds of feet around them.

God gripped Sirzechs's hand tightly. He winced when he felt Divine energy beginning to envelop his hand. She pulled him towards her and delivered a kick to Sirzechs's head.

Sirzechs managed to block in time. So heavy! The force of her kick ripped him from her grip and sent him crashing back into the church.

Sirzechs landed, creating a small crater. He looked up and jumped out of the way as God impacted the ground. Kuoh shook violently. God pulled her fist out of the crater she had enlarged. The church was in ruins.

God turned to Rias's peerage, who was still there. Rias's eyes widened as the deity's eyes landed on her and her peerage.

"Akeno, get everyone out. I'll buy you some time to form a teleportation circle," Rias said.

Akeno opened her mouth to protest, however, the look on Rias's face silenced her. She nodded.

Rias turned around to see God had taken a step towards them. She raised her hand and fired a hail of PoD bullets at her. The bullets all harmlessly dispersed on her body as she continued to walk towards them.

"Oh no, you don't!" Sophia appeared next to God with a scythe made of black mist. God's eyes narrowed as she leaned back. The scythe cut deeply into the ground. Black smoke wafted from the cut as the wood and concrete were dissolved.

"GO!" Sophia yelled.

Rias nodded and her peerage disappeared in a flash of red light.

"You," God said, catching Sophia's attention.

Sophia gritted her teeth. She stood her ground against the woman her father called Mother.

Her eyes grew wide when she felt something impact her with the force of a moving train. Sophia coughed as she was sent flying through the church's walls and through several trees after.

"SOPHIA!" God turned to see Shin wielding a silver sword with a red crossguard. She raised her hand and caught the blade, causing the ground underneath her to rupture. God pushed Shin back, causing him to stumble.

Shin held his left hand out and created a blue and red pistol.

"Failnacht and Clarent. Without a doubt, your Sponsor is…" God raised her hand and blocked an attack from the side. Ran's eyes widened as the deity held the spear made of black fire in her hands. God closed her fist and crushed the spear. "Vivian. But..." Her eyes narrowed the longer she gazed at Shin's face. "You seem familiar."

Shin gritted his teeth and poured as much magic as he could spare into Failnacht. The pistol glowed brightly as he pulled the trigger. The recoil from the weapon sent Shin back a few feet. A blue bolt of highly condensed magic power rocketed towards God. His aim was pure and true.

However, with his level of power against one who wielded absolute divine power, it was not to be. God swiped her hand and deflected the bolt effortlessly. The bolt hit the wall of the church and burst through it. It traveled a few feet into the forest before detonating violently. A rather large explosion leveled half of the woods that surrounded the church.

"Your power isn't strong enough to harm me, Child of Man. You may be able to recreate powerful weapons but the weapon is only as strong as its wielder," God said.

Shin fell to his knees as the weapons dispersed into watery pixels. He looked up defiantly at the uncaring God before him.

God walked over and reached out to grab Shin when a bolt of violet energy slammed into her. God crashed into a statue of an angel. Her red and blue eyes looked up to see Vivi hovering in the air with a blue orb orbiting around her.

"Exterminate Ray!" Vivian yelled. The orb jittered around her before firing another beam of violet energy.

God raised her hand and blocked the beam.

"Did you forget about us?" she turned and was kicked in the jaw by Sirzechs. As she flew, Grayfia appeared beside her and kicked her into the altar. The altar exploded as God impacted it, causing the crucifix that hung from the church ceiling to fall on top of her.

"We may not be able to affect you with our powers but… we are by no means defenseless against you," Sirzechs said, staring at the downed God.

The deity pushed the cross off her body and slowly got up. She rubbed her jaw and spit out a glob of blood alongside a few teeth. Her red and blue eyes held no care nor emotion. As God reached for her sword, a magic circle appeared next to her ear.

"..." God's eyes widened.

"But I just need to take care of the Maou and the Contractors and I'll be-"

"..."

"Understood." The circle disappeared. God relaxed her stance and removed her hand from her sword. "We'll have to cut this short. It seems that other matters have made themselves known."

"Other matters?" Grayfia asked.

"Wait!" Shin tried to get up but fell back down. Vivi appeared next to him and caught him. She helped him to his feet as the group faced the deity.

"Goodbye, Child of Gremory. Child of Lucifuge. Daughter of Lucifer. And to you as well, Child of Man, Contractor of The Lady of the Lake," God said. She turned her back and slashed the air with her sword.

The air warped as a blue portal shaped like a cross appeared in front of her.

"Wait," Sirzechs said, stepping forward. "You are aware that your actions and by extension, Heaven's will not be tolerated. You attacked the Heiress of House Gremory and the Maou Lucifer and his Queen. This could very well lead to a war between Heaven and Hell." He unconsciously gripped the arm that blocked her kick. The kick had snapped his arm in two.

"Heaven? You seem to be confusing me with someone else, Child of Gremory." With those words, "God" stepped through the portal and vanished.

Sirzechs let out a sigh and gripped his arm.

"Sirzechs, allow me." Grayfia walked up to her husband and began healing his arm.

"Sophia. Where is she?" Shin asked.

"She's against one of the walls. I managed to get her before flying back in here," Grayfia said.

Shin sighed in relief as his vision began to swim. "I'm glad…"

"Shin? SHIN!"

"MASTER!"

Those were the last words he heard before he lost consciousness.

Shin groaned as he opened his eyes. He blinked a few times as his vision stabilized. He was staring at his… ceiling? Shin quickly got up and instantly regretted his action. Pain shot through his abdomen and he bent over, clutching it.

"Shin!" he looked over to the source of the voice and saw Sophia running over to him.

"Sophia?" Shin groaned.

Sophia grabbed Shin softly and helped him lean against the head of his bed.

"Don't get up too fast. Your body is still hurt. Asia may have healed you but you'll still have some pains somewhere," Sophia said.

"Asia? Wait… Asia's alive?" Shin asked.

"Yeah, I was shocked as well but…" she trailed off.

Shin knew what she wanted to say. There was only one person in that church that could have resurrected her. "Did Rias…?"

"No, it wasn't Rias."

That was the only answer Shin needed as he looked down at his blanket.

"What happened to the Maou?" he asked.

"Maou Lucifer returned to the Underworld to sort the matter out. I reported back to the Grigori after I was healed and returned the Prototype," Sophia said.

"I see. Wait… then why are you still here?" Shin asked.

"I came to check on you," Sophia said, smiling softly. "Himejima-san and Jailbait have been coming to check on you too. You've been unconscious for two days."

"T- TWO DAYS!" Shin said, stuttering.

"Yeah. Ran and Lady Vivian are worried as well," she added.

"Vivi and Ran. How are they doing?" Shin asked.

"Ran has been the one that's been taking care of you and Vivi makes sure that you're still stable," Sophia said.

"And God?"

"There's no trace of her," Sophia replied.

"I see. What are you going to do now?" Shin asked.

"I'm going to go visit my father before going to the Grigori again," she said.

"Your father… you mean…?" he asked.

"Yeah." Sophia gripped her arm. "Are you… Are you surprised?"

"Yeah. I thought I was hearing things back there when God called you Daughter of Lucifer," Shin said.

Sophia stayed silent.

"But, I don't really think this changes anything. We're still friends right?" Shin asked. He gave her a warm smile.

Sophia's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at Shin. "Yeah. Yeah, we are." Sophia felt her heart skip a few beats when she saw his smile.

"Besides, I think we're even. I never told you my Sponsor's real identity so we're even," Shin said.

Sophia nodded. She glanced at the clock and sighed. "Look, I have to go. I'll be back later, 'kay?"

Shin nodded in response.

Sophia got up and stretched a little. She gave Shin one last smile before disappearing in a flash of violet light.

Sirzechs felt a wave of nostalgia every time he came to this place. His only memories of this castle were pain, torture, and humiliation. The crimson-haired Maou sighed. Now was not the time to be reminiscing on his days as a youth when he trained here. He had left Grayfia in charge of handling Rias's affairs regarding the marriage for the time being. He was here for answers.

The place he arrived at was a humble cabin located in one of the few lush areas of Hell. The cabin sat by a lake with a small pier where a boat was docked. Sirzechs swore that he and that pervert from the Grigori were similar in their choice of hobbies.

And it was at the pier where he spotted his target. A man with silver-white hair sat on a summer chair. He had a line cast out into the lake. Next to him, a girl with silver-white hair stood. She appeared to be berating the man.

Sirzechs chuckled and walked over.

"Hey, you shitty old man," Sirzechs called out.

The pair stopped talking and turned to face him.

"Princess Sophia," Sirzechs said.

"Lord Lucifer." Sophia performed a slight curtsy.

"Hey Tomato Paste, what brings you here?" the man turned around and grinned. Despite appearing to be in his late twenties, he had the demeanor of an old man.

"We need to have a talk," Sirzechs said.

"It's about Mom, isn't it?" he asked.

The one who was called God walked down a rocky outcrop. The world around her was distorted. Space did not flow correctly and time had its own rules. Nature had abandoned this land and death appeared to be the only constant. But even then, in this land that God had abandoned, life and death had its own rules. Lightning rumbled across the sky which resembled cracked glass.

She walked for a few minutes before arriving at her destination. A woman stood underneath a dead tree. She was kneeling and had her hands clasped as if in prayer. After a few seconds of waiting, God watched as the woman got to her feet and turned to face her.

To say that the woman was beautiful was an understatement. She had long blue-violet hair that went past her waist and to the back of her calves. A pair of black horns that became red as it approached the tip sat on her head. Her eyes were a swirling pit of blues and violets that surrounded her pupils. She wore a black and red suit with a black skirt and white thigh-high stockings. On her feet were a pair of black shoes.

"You've returned," she said.

"Only because you ordered me to," 'God' responded.

"I had to. You were fighting the Maou Lucifer and his wife alongside the Original Lucifer's child and Vivian's Contractor. While the latter might not have posed a problem, I cannot risk you getting killed," the woman said.

"I can go back out there and-"

"No, let's wait. We've underestimated them. For now, we shall wait for an opportunity to strike. And only then will we take care of the Queen of Conquest," the woman said.

Alright before we go on, allow me to explain a few things. First off, "God". Her ability to negate Demonic and Angelic power is based on the Otsutsuki Clan's Karma and Truth Seeker Balls. I'm sure plenty of you are familiar with Naruto. Truth Seeker Balls can negate all Ninjutsu and erase things from existence, however, it can't nullify Senjutsu. Similarly, "God's" power cannot negate magic that is used by other beings. This is why she dodged Sophia's Tranquility and was hit by Vivian's Exterminate Ray and Shin's Copy-Clarent. Contracts aren't powered by Demonic Power like the Power of Destruction. Which means other Gods and Beings can affect her. Things like the Boosted Gear's Dragon Shot or the Divine Dividing's Half-Dimension. But anything powered by Demonic or Angelic power is a big no-no.

Also, I'm sure you've seen the word "Queen of Conquest" thrown around. I wanna see who all of you think the Queen of Conquest is.

And Lucifer is alive. But then again, God is also a woman.

To you who guessed Vivian, you are right. Congratulations, I shall give you a virtual brownie.

With that, I bid you all adieu.
