Here we go, finally. Sorry for the wait. Do enjoy :)

Chapter 6: New Vision

The next morning BBA made the announcement for the smaller tournament but it was already filled with many bladers who wanted to take part in it. Tyson and others were getting excited and Tyson himself hoped that Kai would take part in it too.

'Don't be disappointed if he's not in this Tyson,' Kenny reminded.

'Yeah, yeah. I just hope those jerks won't prevent him,' Tyson answered back.

'They do seem like very controlling but maybe it's just too overprotective as Mike and that girl said yesterday.

'Nah, I say control freaks,' Tyson pointed out.

'I hope you mean that Mike guy and not his family. It's not cool to speak bad about them behind their back,' Max asked.

'I haven't said anything about them, yet,' Tyson said and dropped down on the bed. He looked at the ceiling and wondered what Kai's life was right now. He would somehow know what he meant by not belong here.

At the small store Walter stared at the camera. It was working at the moment but on that one time it didn't and was missing sections.

'Store is open,' Faith said, 'Do we go in?'

'We have everything already, don't we?' Dylan asked. All three of them had left the station and gone see if there were any clues left.

Walter didn't answer and stepped inside. He showed his police badge to the clerk and got the wanted attention.

'Did you see anyone around or inside this shop the time when cameras weren't working?' Walter asked.

'Well, no. There were two kids looking at books and then more kids came in and talked about some tournament. None of them bought anything,' clerk answered.

'I think they meant the beyblading tournament. Did one of the kids have red cap and jacket?' Faith asked next.

'Yes,' clerk said. Walter turned to Faith, 'You know the kid?' he asked.

'They were on the news for winning the champion ships and having held a party for their member who passed away,' Faith explained.

'Right and thank you for your help,' Walter said when he noticed the clock.

'Excuse me. Your clock is not on right time,' Walter pointed out.

'Oh right. I forgot that one,' clerk sighed.

'That one?' Walter frowned.

'Yes. Every clock on the wall, table and my phone were on wrong time. Heh, like time stopped for all of them or something since it happened at the same time,' clerk joked a bit.

'That is strange indeed,' with that they left the shop.

'Let's check the other shops cameras as well. Some might point towards the shop as well,' Walter instructed.

'Yes Sir,' Dylan stated smiling and got Walter to smile a bit. They had their little buddy relationship.

After couple of days the tournament officially had begun. Bladers and audience was walking in. Bladebreakers were standing in the hallway on the other side of the line.

'This is going to be awesome. I'm ready,' Tyson said happily.

'Yeah, we know,' Max reminded calmly. This reminded him of Ray too when they first time began the tournament. God, he missed him.

'Hey, look,' Max pointed towards the door. Others turned towards the door and saw a hooded figure but they saw the face. It was Kai.

'Yes. He came and hopefully to battle,' Tyson left running and calling out to him. Kai stopped and waited for Tyson to calm his breathing.

'Are you going to battle?' Tyson asked as Max and Kenny walked closer. Kai saw Dickenson and Tyson's family coming as well.

'I got permission to do so yes,' Kai replied. Tyson looked puzzled.

'Permission? From who? Brother? Seriously?' Tyson asked.

'Pretty much. You can leave it at that,' Kai sounded bitter and it didn't go unnoticed.

'It must be tough to live with just the three of you,' Bruce said.

'Three?' Kai questioned.

'Yeah. We saw Mike and a girl and heard them talking. You have big sister too,' Tyson revealed.

'They followed them. I wonder if they noticed,' Kai thought. Before Kai could say answer Bruce spoke up.

'I knew your father,' Bruce said. Kai's eyes widened.

'My… father?' Kai didn't care how his voice sounded.

'Isn't this your father?' Tyson took out the pictures and literally pushed them on Kai's hands.

Kai stared at the pictures and saw himself as a child with two adults. He turned the pictures over and saw the same texts as others.

'Is something wrong?' Tyson asked.

'I… I don't know. I don't remember them,' Kai answered with shaky voice.

'It might be because of the shock and trauma. You might not remember but they were murdered,' Bruce talked quietly and tried calming Kai.

'That's… No,' Kai turned slightly away from others, 'Sorry. I need to go back.'

'Are you leaving?' Tyson regret giving the pictures. He wanted to have battle against Kai and if he was going to leave now, he would miss the tournament.

'Yes,' Kai almost shouted, 'I need to talk with my brother. That lying bastard,' Kai cursed out and left right out of the door.

'Lying bastard?' Tyson repeated shocked. Even Bruce was starting to get worried for Kai for some reason.

'We need to go now though,' Kenny pointed out the time.

At the mansion Christian was ready to get yelled at. He knew what his old teammates told him. He did wonder if he should have just told the truth right away. Not even Sara knew about it. Just then Kai came in. He apparently had used his ability run fast. Kai threw pictures on the table.

'These are my parents, aren't they? And murdered? You lying bastard!' Kai cursed out with a loud voice. Sara and others came in, Tina and Lara too.

'I didn't lie to you completely. All three of us are siblings,' Christian explained.

'Like how? If you're hundreds of years old, how there is this picture of me with them?' Kai asked.

'As I told you, vampires get human children and turn them after certain age and sometimes not all. Everything I told you before is true. Just that…' Christian began.

'Just what?'

'We are not half siblings. We have very same parents. And our father was abusive. After this picture was taken, mother killed father by biting his neck. She did kill herself by doing that,' Christian explained.

'Really?' Sara stepped closer.

'You didn't know either?' Kai asked and Sara shook her head.

'Before she did that she cleaned your memory. And the reason why there's only you is because what I told you before is true. I saved Sara from father few hundred years ago and then came you a decade ago. The rest you know,' Christian explained.

Kai couldn't believe this. They were his blood siblings and if Christian was telling the truth, it was totally unbelievable.

'Why would you lie about that?' Sara asked.

'I have my reasons and it's already hard to believe to have half sibling whose hundreds of years old,' Christian said.

'Are you even speaking truth now?' Kai asked.

'You tell me,' Christian replied. Kai looked at Christian for a while before shaking his head. He didn't know why but he was pissed and confused at the same time. He didn't know how to feel about this and had no one to talk to about it either. Without a word he left the room and the mansion. Anywhere else was better than there.

'Why didn't you tell me? Us?' Sara asked. She dropped the Sir every time she was angry and everyone knew it.

'We liked to know too,' Tina asked with a smirk. Lara looked more disappointed and not to mention pissed.

'No wonder he cares for that bastard so much,' Lara thought.

'It didn't look like you were ready to accept that fact yet,' Christian stood up and walked to the shelf, 'But honestly I don't know why I lied about it. Kai wasn't even ready to accept us as siblings, even as humans.' He took out photobook where was their family pictures, he and parents and lastly Sara and the parents but nothing together.

'Very good reason I say,' Mike laughed and headed out before getting snorted at. Others left as well but Sara stayed for a second to see what Christian was up to. Soon enough though she left him alone.

Kai had arrived back to the tournament and got into the audience. He could at least watch everyone have fun and felt sadness creep up. His world had turned upside down, again.

Next up was Tyson and others and they won in couple of minutes and were waiting for next match. Suddenly Kai felt a hand on his shoulder and he quickly turned around and saw Bruce.

'It's just us. Are you okay?' he asked.

'Just fine,' Kai stated and turned back to the arena.

'I'm sorry to ask this but did you have a fight with your brother?' Bruce asked carefully. Kai wondered a while and decided to answer. It wasn't like he could say anything else, maybe.

'Not really… well, I don't know. Just angry at him,' Kai said.

'Do you want to talk about it?' Bruce asked.

'Not really. It's not like you can help,' Kai growled unintentionally.

'I can by help by listening to you. Why not give it a try?' Bruce asked. He watched Kai who was clearly thinking about it.

'I learned only a while ago that I had… siblings and even still he lied to me and to my older sister about our… parents. Thanks to you though I learned the truth how they… died,' Kai almost blurted out that his mother killed father and herself.

'That does sound bad. Did he tell you why he lied?' Bruce was shocked but hid it. If he understood Kai right, his older brother knows how their parents died. Did he know who killed them as well?

'No,' Kai simply replied back and kept his eyes to arena. It clearly showed he didn't want to talk about it. Bruce saw the tip and left it there. They watched the entire tournament and Bladebreakers were the winners, obviously.

'Let's go. Come one,' Bruce grabbed Kai's arm and leaded him towards the others. He did notice how cold the arm was but ignored it.

'Hey Kai. Did you watch us?' Tyson asked.

'Yes. Fun?' Kai asked for some reason.

'Yes, but is something wrong? You look disturbed. Did you have a fight with those jerks?' Tyson pointed out. Before Kai could answer Bruce stepped up.

'Let's just say that he has his family problems and Kai will tell us if he wants to,' Bruce said.

'Do you want to have a match then? You missed the tournament itself,' Tyson suggested.

'You need to wait for a moment. We have company,' Max noticed police officers coming. Kai recognized the officers, Walter and his partners, Dylan and Faith.

'I'm sorry to bother you but I have been notified that Bladebreakers were at this book shop nearby recently,' Walter showed a picture.

'Yes. Did something happen?' Kenny asked.

'We have been investigating a murder and now missing person case. Missing person is Tom Harrison, husband of the murdered woman. Did you see anything strange when you were there?' Walter asked.

'No, at least that we know of. We were there only for a moment. How about you Kai? You guys were there longer,' Tyson pondered.

'Nothing,' Kai answered quickly, maybe too quickly. Walter gazed at him suspiciously.

'Have we met before?' he asked. Kai clenched his hands into fists in his pockets and answered as calmly as he could.

'No,' he didn't know if they could get their memories back on their own or not.

'Right. If you recall anything, you can call us anytime,' Walter gave everyone his number card. With that short visit they left, and others were dumfounded.

'That's it? Weird,' Tyson stated.

'You tell me,' Max said. Kai watched police leave and try not to recall the last encounters.

'I'm leaving too,' Kai broke the silence and headed towards the door. He could hear Tyson start say something and most likely his father stopped him.

Walter, Dylan and Faith returned to the car.

'What's on your mind?' Faith asked.

'I have a gut feeling that something was off there. Is there way to restore the missing files?'

'Not sure but it can be tried. I'll call the station,' Faith said and took her phone out. Walter nodded and glanced outside. He saw boy named Kai leave and head towards the woods disappearing. It seemed weird to him but his thoughts were back to the missing files. It was bothering him why they were missing.

Hopefully, they could get them back.

Back at the station Christian was holding his head tightly and gritting his teeth. He has gotten more visions recently and more tense each time. Now he was seeing one of the worst once.

In big and quick flashes, he saw everyone die one by one, both vampires and humans. Next he saw streets ghouls walking in the streets. The last moment was he saw was a ghoul in covered in white clothes and black hair. He rarely got shocked but he saw familiar face. Ray…

Hopefully I can get more action soon. Do review and tell me your thoughts. Critic is totally fine and wished :D
