Here is another fun. There might be a bigger break because of big school essay I have to do. Could you wait for a while for updates, again? :)

Chapter 14: Lie Or Truth
-Back At The Hotel-
After buss returned to the Kai and Sara headed inside as Tyson called after him. He caught up with Kai but Kai just passed him with stern look.
'We are leaving once evening comes. You don't have to have to wait for us or anything,' Kai said and didn't wait for Tyson's reply.
'What do you mean?!' Tyson yelled but two siblings left from his view.
'Let's go to you dad Tyson. We have to talk to them now,' Kenny said. Tyson nodded and followed Kenny and Max entire way to their own room where adults were waiting.
'You came back… Something wrong?' Bruce asked.
'We found this…' Tyson showed Ray's picture of him and Kai, 'And Kai and Sara… know that you and Max heard them… I didn't meant to tell them that.'
'I would have been surprised if you didn't,' Bruce stared at the picture, 'It looks like he wanted to hide this for some reason.'
'But why dad? There's nothing bad about being friends with Ray,' Tyson asked.
'Not to mention Ray didn't mention him to us either,' Max added worried.
'Only they know the answer to that but Tyson, you said both Kai and Sara know that we heard them. Did they say what they are going to do about it?' Bruce asked.
'Umm… Kai said they were going to leave tonight,' Tyson rubbed his neck. Bruce nodded, stood up and quickly head outside towards Kai and Sara's room which was floor above them. He didn't hear anything behind the door and decided to just knock. Sara opened the door and immediately turned to Kai. For some reason she wanted to listen Kai more even though she was older of the two.
-With Kai And Sara View Few Minutes Before-
'If you want to know my opinion, I don't think we need to leave though,' Sara said as they arrived at the hotel room.
'What's the use of staying here and getting things more complicated? Besides, it's only natural for them to call police,' Kai reminded.
'They could have once they heard us but I haven't seen or senses police here,' Sara said.
'They might have wanted to find prove that we wouldn't have been able to deny but thank to Tyson's inability to keep his mouth shut, we can avoid that outcome,' Kai grunted. He was pissed but he didn't know actually why he was pissed.
'I understood you didn't feel like being friends with you but they are though, aren't they?' Sara asked as she sat down on the bed while Kai kept standing up and staring out of the window.
'They wanted to be my friends. Even I knew that,' Kai said more calmly.
'You don't?' Sara was puzzled since he didn't understand Kai's attitude but then again, he was raised by Susumu's grandfather.
'I… I don't know! I just... I don't want them to get into my business,' Kai growled and dropped down to sit.
'When someone wants to help, that is what usually happens,' Sara said when she got the text from Rick. Sara had texted Rick while on the way back to the hotel.
'Rick wrote that we can't go there yet. Christian says so. See, I said he didn't want us to leave entirely,' Sara stated firmly.
'Okay, fine. You were right,' Kai said while crossing his arms. They were quiet a minute when there was a knock on the door.
'What now?' Kai thought when he saw who was behind the door, Bruce.
'May I come in for a while?' Bruce asked and Sara let him in.
'Tyson told me what happened but I'm not going to about that. I was just going to tell you that you don't need to leave. No one has or will call the police,' Bruce said.
'Why? It's not like we are innocent,' Sara wondered and thankfully she spoke since Kai didn't want to.
'I'm not going to lie. Dickenson and I think that you might have been forced into the situation you are in and want you to talk voluntarily if you ever want to. We will just let police do their job on their own but we aren't going to tell them you are here or what we heard. Everyone agreed on that,' Bruce had long explanation.
'I think this is obvious one but why would we trust you on that?' Sara asked.
'I don't know. All I can say that you have my word on that. We trust you since you were friends with Ray and he's a smart kid,' Bruce gestured at Kai who kept watching him.
'Do you think Ray knew about Kai and what he had done?' Sara asked again.
'We don't but even if he did, he trusted you enough not to tell us about you or anything to that matter,' Bruce answered.
'Kai… I think we can stay until we can go back. You heard from Rick too,' Sara pointed out.
'Fine,' Kai sighed and turned his gaze away.
'May I ask one question though? You don't have to answer,' Bruce was clearly careful with his words.
'Go ahead. Not like I can stop you,' Kai said sarcastically.
'Why didn't you or… Ray tell us about your friendship at any point? We are quite puzzled at this,' Bruce asked.
'Why do you think that is?' Kai questioned back.
'Is it because of your… actions or past?' Bruce asked.
'Pretty much. I doubt you would have allowed us to be friends back then if you had learned what I had done or what I am part of but I don't know why Ray didn't tell you. I didn't tell him to be quiet,' Kai spoke like everything had happened since it was only way to sound convincing.
'We won't know that now,' Bruce said and turned around to the door, 'Okay. I'll leave you be.' With that he left and headed back to the others.
'They are nice if they are speaking the truth,' Sara said after closing the door.
'Exactly, if they don't lie… Like me…' Kai mirrored that basically to everything that had been happening and Sara had slight sad look on her face but it turned to neutral one soon. She did agree with others with the fact Kai hadn't still let go off his human morals and let these things to affect him.
-With Tyson And Others-
'That's good then but did they say Rick?' Tyson asked. Bruce had explained what he had heard after coming back to the hotel room.
'Yes. They apparently had talked with him and they are not welcome back yet,' Bruce said.
'It is worrying that they are so loyal to them but this is a start. We just must keep our word and not push them away,' Kenny said.
'It bothered me a little bit before but since I trust Ray, I'll trust Kai,' Max admitted.
'Same Max, same,' Tyson said and looked at Driger. If Ray was going that far to protect someone with that kind of background, he couldn't be that evil.
'Dad, you said you knew Kai's parents?' Tyson asked.
'I knew his father, I think,' Bruce replied.
'You think?' Dickenson said.
'I don't know if he knew what's his kids were doing back then at least. If he did, I didn't know him as well as I thought,' Bruce sounded sad and worried too.
'Do you think he had… killed people too but never got caught?' Tyson asked horrified.
'That's what I'm thinking too now. Maybe… he got killed because of someone's revenge?' Bruce thought.
'But didn't that Christian say that their mother was the one who killed him and herself?' Max reminded.
'I have hard time believing that. I can't imagine her doing that in million years,' Bruce said, 'I have met her and she was like an angel,' he added.
'I actually thought that myself,' grandfather added, 'I never understood what she saw in Susumu.'
'Do you think Christian lied there then? Even Kai said that Christian and Sara weren't treated well. With that sentence it can assumed that Susumu was abusive,' Tyson said.
'If what they said is true and if we assume Susumu was abusive and killer too… it's really scary thought that he managed to hide so well and the fact Katherine killed Susumu along herself is unbelievable thought. It wouldn't be surprising for Christian to have that kind of attitude towards people who don't listen to him and why Kai and Sara are loyal to him,' Bruce thought, 'It would explain his need to control too.'
'What if Christian has lied about everything?' Max asked.
'In that case Susumu was the person I thought he was, he was murdered along with Katherine and Christian is very good at manipulating people so much so that all those kids in the house with him follow him and kill people too,' Bruce stated and it was clear he hoped that one was true.
'Why would they do that?' Tyson asked from the bed, 'It can't be just for fun.'
'Well, Christian apparently kills people on his side if they break some rules but we don't know other reasons,' Bruce sighed. Everyone were quiet since they were so puzzled that they began to get headaches.
'Let's forget it. We won't get answer from them even if we ask. Let's just police handle things they do on their won like we agreed on,' Tyson stated and others agreed to that. They wouldn't get answers by debating what was true and what was not. They could only try act normal like before and just continue with their day.
'With everything in mind, I'll go order everyone a flight ticket to Japan,' Dickenson said.
'For Kai and Sara too?' Tyson ensured.
'Of course. If they are in different country, they might relax a bit,' Dickenson said.
'Hold a moment! I'm going to ask them do they have passports and do they want to go. If they are just waiting for the sign to go back, they might come to Japan,' Tyson stood up quickly and headed to the door.
'Tyson has a point there. Do tell me their answer,' Dickenson said as Tyson left the room.
-With Kai And Sara-
Kai was laying on the bed and looked at Dranzer and enjoyed the silence they were in when there was a knock, again.
'They have a lot to say, don't they?' Sara joked and opened the door and Tyson came in.
'I just wanted to ask you that do you two have a passport and can you come to Japan with us?' Tyson asked and saw Kai's eyes widen. Kai sat up and looked Dranzer again and tightened his grip around it. He hasn't been in Japan a long time and for a reason that shouldn't be said again.
'I don't know… We do have passports but…' Sara said and was very unsure. She has never been outside of the town they were in right now for hundreds of years. She looked at Kai who gritted his teeth.
'Let's just go if we can. We can just return if we are called,' Kai stated firmly and in truth, he wanted to go away from Christian any way. It wasn't like he acted like his big brother and more like a boss at a workplace.
'That's true. Alright,' Sara nodded to that.
'Okay. Thank you,' Tyson said and left running.
'How do you suggest we get food there?' Sara did ask a good question at the end.
'I'm sure we can find animal blood or something,' Kai said.
'Animal blood? Haven't tried that before,' Sara pondered and went back to her drawing she had been doing. Kai decided to clean Dranzer and his blade in the meantime. It was not like he could go out train yet.
-With Tyson And Others-
'They will come,' Tyson said as he came back.
'Alright. I'll go order the tickets. Enjoy the rest of the day,' Dickenson said and left the hotel room.
'Now we can continue with our training. Let's start with upgrading your blades,' Kenny said and started typing on his computer. With Dizzy's help they tried different parts and everything seemed like before and they enjoyed their time.
-With Christian-
Christian was sitting on his bed in peace but his mind was in million places and he was keeping his eyes closed. He was using his ability to watch different future scenarios again who knows how long or how many times but it was taking a toll. He has never felt this tired for a long time.
'Fucking hell…' Christian pressed his hand against his forehead. Sweat was visible on his head and he wiped his forehead once again.
'Sir?' he heard Rick call out. Christian stood up and opened his bedroom door and saw Rick at the door.
'Find something?' Christian asked and went to sit down.
'They have hidden their tracks well but I might have an idea where they might be hiding but what about you? I can see that you are tired,' Rick asked.
'I've been checking on the futures quiet a lot,' Christian replied.
'You need to rest Sir. I will go check the warehouse where the tracks led,' Rick said.
'I'll go with you,' Mike appeared on the door and said worryingly, 'And you might want to know that an old man from BBA, Dickenson I think, ordered flight tickets to Japan for Kai and Sara too.'
'Are they fucking mad?' Rick cursed out.
'Kai is at least but I don't know why Sara wants to go too,' Mike shrugged his shoulders.
'Leave them be. At least they will be away from danger for a while,' Christian said to which Mike and Rick looked surprised.
'Sir… did you kick them both out for a different reason than the vote?' Rick asked.
'Yes… I saw a vision where everything was going hell, bloodbath and ghouls everywhere. Them going away will keep them safe,' Christian admitted and groaned from pain. Headache was getting force.
'That… wow,' Mike looked shocked, a lot actually, 'You care for them a lot more than I thought.'
'You might have gone soft, Sir. Do you think so?' Rick asked.
'Who knows. I will keep my family safe and that includes everyone living here. Of course, there are rules which were broken last time too badly,' Christian said.
'Alright. We go now but promise to rest while we are away,' Rick bowed, grabbed Mike and pulled him out of the room.
'Maybe I should do that. If there's a fight, I need to safe strength to that,' Christian thought by himself.
-With Rick And Mike-
'So where are we heading?' Mike asked and followed Rick out after they had put on their jackets since the sun was still up but not for long.
'Just come along if you want to. There might not be people there but it's the next place where we should look. I checked police as well and they are stuck and missing humans' number just keeps increasing. We can only guess why,' Rick explained.
'Fine, sure. Lead the way,' Mike said. Rick might be on the right track though since what if missing humans were being turned to ghouls and vampire behind it will release them at the same time. Rick hadn't told anyone his thought yet since he needed prove for that first and hopefully, he would find it now.
I hope you liked this.
