Chapter 31

The group of Sith arrives at the atmosphere of Kalee, intent on highlighting the corruption on the planet by the Republic. To think, in another timeline, it would have been nothing short of one sole Sith Lord who was intent on completing the rule of two, but now is the time for them to gain powers politically and to highlight the Sith as keepers of the peace who would react with militarism when innocent lives are threatened.

It is the Sith's cunning that would deploy them to ascend triumphantly over the Jedi and exploit their assets.

"Master, we have just received reports below that a third of the planet's population of Kaleesh is being wiped out," a Sith Apprentice declares, turning to stare at the superior Sith Lord. "The Jedi are on the planet. Everything is proceeding as you have foreseen."

The individual's own brown eyes brighten into crimson. The Jedi are on the world and thus that presents the possibility that they can be labeled as enemies should they be seen killing innocents without understanding the full story of the two sides and the Republic can be seen as tyrants which would further justify the ascension of the Empire that Plagueis have envisioned in his times of servitude.

"Dispatch probe droids," Tyrannus orders smoothly. "Allow the Jedi to be seen as they are across the galaxy. Tyrants who have lost their place in all this and thus eradicating the hope that many systems have in them."

"Yes, my lord."

The Apprentice scrambles to follow the powerful Sith's command, having seen the powers of the Sith Lord and wishing not to endure the torture of finding herself facing complications.

Tyrannus closes his eyes and digs deep into the dark side of the Force, feeling powerful presences below, most of which he sensed so long ago while he was still a Jedi. He is not going to relish this. While the Sith Lord would take care of the Jedi, the other Sith would be dispatched onto the battlefield to defend the Kaleesh.

He knows that Plagueis was extremely cautious of this next course of action because there is the fact that they are all Sith and lust for power, but in his training of them of the dark side, he had taught them control so they wouldn't have fallen to complete corruption which would cause them to eventually lose in the time of battle like other Sith but also keeping their powers in check.

The Jedi is currently wiping out the Kaleesh. They are attempting to take one last fierce stand but they have never stood a chance against the so-called peacekeepers in the galaxy whose lightsabers are tearing through them as if they are animals, believing that they have begun this war and Yam'rii are only defending themselves.

Tyrannus opens his two brown eyes again, hearing the Kaleesh's dying screams filling his senses without even needing to reach out for the Force and taking into the power of the dark side though feeling an ounce of displeasure, proving that the Jedi Master he had once been wasn't completely vaporized unfortunately. That is not surprising especially since his charisma has only supplemented and his wisdom over the Force hasn't diminished.

In that position, Tyrannus can't help but feel a bit of sympathy not for the Jedi in their arrogance but for the Kaleesh who is facing the consequences of their arrogance. The population was foolish enough to believe that the Jedi Order would stand for them when proven multiple times that the Order is nothing but idiots who would not stand any sort of opposition against the Galactic Republic, not even for the people within the galaxy.

Instantly, that sympathy is pulverized by the dark hope of gaining allies alongside them against the Jedi and the Republic and thus making their system stronger. The droids have failed the Federation years ago, but now they are forming a Sith Order who would be able to stand against the Jedi, unlike the Viceroy who has craved to do so.

The Jedi would be facing a fierce war with both Plagueis and Vader standing as allies but also traveling different destinies which would not hinder the future of the Sith Empire but also sway the Order's sights on both and give the other the ground they would need. The Jedi are going to be split the more and more they are engaging the puppeteers of this, whose goals are the same even if their tactics about it are different.

The shuttle lands seconds later, the smoke within fading away, and the ramp slowly produces and lays on the ground, allowing them to see the battlefield. What has once made the world beautiful is now a battleground, roars of those outwards no longer needed to be heard through the Force but rather in the distance.

Another tree falls among those of the smoking ambers that have become the surface of the world, the grass is burned into ashes, the one ocean about completely dirty and full of corpses - mainly of Kaleesh - their blood staining the waters, and the buildings that there once have been crumbled onto the ground.

Tyrannus step forward, hands clasped behind his back and drawing the dark side in within its cold welcoming sensations, numbly moving through the shadowlands. The rest of the Sith follows him, prepared to do what they are ordered.

"Spread out and protect them and lead against the threat. I would take care of the Jedi." The Sith Lord orders, gripping hold of his lightsaber hilt.

Behind him, the Sith follow the command, allowing Tyrannus to make himself known to the unsuspecting Jedi who immediately clutch their heads at the sensation of the dark side coming towards them.

"Jedi, you have involved yourselves too far this time."

The Jedi flips around to stare at the dark hooded figure, surprised at his sudden arrival. Tyrannus can tell that they are caught off guard by his mere presence alone.

"Another dark Jedi, I presume," the Jedi Master says somewhat lamely, activating his lightsaber and taking up a battle stance alongside the other Jedi.

While other Sith would have vented at being referred to as mere dark Jedi, Tyrannus is different than those other Sith, and the Order Plagueis is formulating is intending to not make the Sith as weapons and pawns but rather individuals who have the independence that their ancestors have lacked, a flaw always implanted within the Sith even before the Order of Bane have been constructed.

"I can assure you that I am no mere Dark Jedi," Tyrannus replies, his Force Signature darkening at them daring to refer to him as a dark Jedi, as if he can be beaten easily, "none of us are but Sith Lords, not ones who have risen from our grave, but have always been there, waiting for generations among your very Order to finally rise once more. This is the return of the true Sith to the face of the galaxy."

"The Sith have been extinct for decades," the younger human Jedi declares, scoffing, clearly not taking him seriously. "The last sign of them were a Sith Assassin but even that one has been defeated by a Jedi among our Order."

Tyrannus shakes his head disapprovingly, genuinely disappointed at the Jedi's blindness. "You truly don't believe that the Sith haven't managed to deceive you, my friends, that the Sith Lords didn't go into hiding, while your Order wipe the rest of us out, that we wouldn't have a strategy and we wouldn't be able to rise once more. To wipe us out, you would have to wipe all of us out simultaneously, unless the Sith would never be laid to rest. The dark side would always be there."

"Well," a confident Jedi declares, grinning in such a manner that makes Tyrannus mentally facepalm at the type of Jedi who the Order has allowed to fill their ranks for so long such as the imbecile who is standing in front of them and is currently insulting all the Jedi in their morals and what they are meant to be. "If you are a Sith, we would stop you and save the galaxy."

"Come."

Tyrannus welcomes the challenge, a crimson blade coming to life before falling into his Makashi stance, knowing that these Jedi would fall to the bait-

And fall to it they did.

The Jedi leaps into the air towards the direction of Tyrannus who smirks at the Jedi's mannerism of attack before extending his left hand and blasting a torrent of lightning towards them in the air and send them each crashing away, landing not on their feet but on their stomach, surprised by the sudden attack

The younger Jedi in the group recovers in under a second before dashing forward, blocking the torrent of lightning this time before swinging his lightsaber several meters away, attacking him with no small amount of effort. Simply, almost as if this is a training session, the Sith Lord blocks all of the assaults.

The Jedi is the one who breaks away from it and sends strikes upwards towards the throat of Tyrannus who attacks with no small amount of effort. By the Force, how can one Jedi reveal so many openings? How can the Jedi Masters have failed so badly at allowing such weak Jedi to plague their Order?

Tyrannus kicks him in the chest before turning around and engaging in a dual lock with another middle-aged Jedi whose strain is evident the moment they crash lightsabers. Unlike his younger counterpart, this Jedi have presented some challenge which is not something stunning since many Jedi at that age is just prideful for their age which is why so many have fallen to the Sith when the galaxy was split between both Orders.

The Sith Lord watches for any attacks that the older Jedi would send at him, but it is heavily noted that he is performing more defending than attacking. While no Master of Soresu, the Jedi certainly is commencing with tactics that would make Tyrannus take a singular step back as many Jedi in the Order prefers the aggressive forms, not defensive, and utilizes them, because they believe that in times of challenge, they would be better at disarming their opponent.

Tyrannus turns around and waves his hand towards three Jedi who has attempted to attack behind, still engaged in the lock with the eldest Jedi of them all, causing them to grasp their heads at the darkness that is insisting furiously to tear away at their shields before blasting them away, rotating his lightsaber in front of him and thrust his lightsaber towards the younger Jedi from earlier that has managed to recover from his initial assault.

The middle-aged Jedi applies the Force in the direction of the Sith Lord, causing his cape to swirl into the air but he doesn't even stagger. He is returned the favor by a purple current arching towards him and sending him onto the ground.

Tyrannus drives his lightsaber to the younger Jedi, splitting his weapon into two, about to stab him through the throat when one of the Duro Jedi accelerates into the air and blocks his attack with a blue double-bladed lightsaber. The Sith Lord loathes those types of wielders for many reasons as they have too many openings in what it means to be a battlemaster and that is why he has been the major opposition to Plagueis bringing back the Sith Assassins that his legacy has unintentionally dismantled.

"Come, Jedi, you have to do better," the Sith Lord cannot help but mock, swinging his lightsaber towards the Jedi with no small amount of aggression. "Your battle technique have too much flaws. Beforehand, you should have altered your form so you would perhaps be able to present a proper challenge. Generally speaking, that is why many duelists aside from exceptional ones have fallen in the middle of combat. You have too much of a weakness that is fond within your Order."

Even if this is a battle, now is the time to show the Jedi that this could be a learning experience.

The Sith Lord is now pushing the Jedi back, sensing his desperation for escape. The Duro now appears to be struggling the more there is a strain, proving the Sith Lord is accurate about his observations, extending a blast from his fingertips at the back of him which sends him plummeting onto the ground.

Seeing his companion's peril, the Devaronian Jedi wielding two lightsabers - both oranges - stabs his lightsabers towards the Sith Lord. He dodges each of the Sith's devastating strikes, staring over at his companions who nod, mentally sharing conversation through the Force...

The younger Jedi from earlier sends a wave of water to the Count who merely shoves it to the side, joining his companions who are attempting to surround the Sith who closes his eyes, appearing to have fallen into meditation, but they each can see that the Sith is no pushover.

The Jedi are dashing at the Sith in all directions, inching to run their blades through him and bring an end to the Sith.

The Sith waits-

He deflects all of their strikes impressively, preventing any of them from seizing the advantage over the Sith Lord, countering all of the attacks in just a second before he grasps their throats through the Force, his lightsaber now aimed downwards, sending them onto the ground that it could have broken any lesser person's back.

The older Jedi again is the first one up, aiming his lightsaber upwards over his shoulder towards the Sith Lord in a manner of Shien. Tyrannus doesn't wait this time, have been doing too much defending than attacking which is one thing that could lead to his downfall, attacking like a madman and cutting downwards against his lightsaber without any hesitation, knowing that he would have to rid this Jedi before moving onto the rest as this is the only one of these fools who would present a proper challenge against him.

The Sith and Jedi lock lightsabers before opening up a form or stabbing him in the hand, relinquishing his lightsaber hilt onto the ground at the intensity of the battle, before swiping upwards from his legs to his chest, and allowing him to collapse onto the ground, his presence immediately joining the Force.

"Noooo!"

Tyrannus turns to see that it is the younger Jedi who have screamed hatefully, his eyes set on the corpse of the Jedi Master. Emotions unlike what is supposed to be among Jedi tradition purrs through the Force, though it doesn't mean that the younger Jedi should be corrupted over to the dark side of the Force.

The Jedi swerves up towards him, abandoning the words of caution coming from his allies as he hacks away at the Sith Lord, appearing to forget he and his Order haven't fought for decades. Proclaiming his mastery of Makashi, the Sith Lord appears to become an endless movement, relishing the surprise across the Jedi's face. He has been training in this for too long!

The young Jedi is barely able to keep up with the elderly man. A pity really. To think, one would have thought that the Jedi Council would have trained them intensely so they would be able to stand. This is how far the Jedi Order has fallen.

"Was he your Master, your father figure?" This isn't a taunt, no matter how many would have thought the Sith is attempting to pull off manipulative methods, however, despite his submission to the dark side of the Force that does not mean he couldn't feel any sympathy for the former Order who he has sworn loyalty to the moment he has been accepted by Master Yoda all those decades ago.

"I was his legacy!" The Jedi cries, his eyes piercing through him like he is the most disgusting creature within the galaxy. "And you killed him! I would make you regret it; I would bring you to justice for what you have done! You would answer to the Jedi Council!"

Tyrannus doesn't reply, knowing that the sloppy movements and acrobatics the Jedi is currently performing would lead to his eventual death when the Sith grows tired of this. He would not corrupt the Jedi, even in his compromising state, for Jedi unstable like this could not be welcomed in their fray or they would lead their Order to their downfall as there would always be a small consciousness within the Jedi that would want revenge for his Master.

That is why those Jedi who the Muun Sith Master has seen as failures have been destroyed as Jedi with pity and thoughts of vengeance mustn't be allowed to spread through the new Order the new Sith is making. Unlike the Sith of the ancient Empire, their Empire would sustain control instead of being mad animals who crave blood.

The Sith Lord thrust his crimson lightsaber behind him towards the Devaronian who is utilizing both of his blades in an attempt to get a crippling blow that will buy him enough time to kill Tyrannus. However, the Sith fends off all of his efforts, arching his hand towards the Jedi and sending him onto the ground, his knees beginning to give out.

He walks towards the Devaronian Jedi before merely chopping his lightsaber downwards, ending it quickly as his head is decapitated.

Tyrannus turns around to see that a Knight, wielding her respective green lightsaber tightly as she attempts to maneuver around the Sith. She would have been a powerful Sith.

The Sith Lord allows her to vent her strikes at him, knowing that it is only a matter of time before they fall to the bait. The female is not as arrogant as the Padawan who is still hacking away at him every so often in an attempt to land a strike, and the same is applied to the Duro whose strikes with his lightsaber and Force Powers are more controlled but still determined, but no matter, both are being met with a Force Assault of some sort by the Sith Lord before he could have landed his assault.

Before, at last, the blue blade of the Duro vanishes, the body onto the floor shrinking to the boots of the Sith, only gaining him further aggression by the Padawan as well as the female.

"You don't understand the power of the dark side," Tyrannus says, enjoying in the feelings that are swelling through the two. "Your Jedi Order is the cause of all of this destruction which is the reason why I have traveled here."

"Liar! You are nothing but a Sith who's goals are nothing short of delusions of grandeur!" The Padawan shouts.

"Grandeur?" Tyrannus taunts, cutting down and marking the Padawan's leg. "No, to defend the true innocents of this world from the Order that I have once served."

Tyrannus thrust his lightsaber to the left at the Jedi currently recovering from his injury, before diverting his attention to the female and attacking the woman Knight with all of his might and backing her up, before stabbing her in the stomach and allowing her to drop limply.

The Padawan's fear of him is not something that he bathes in but the dark side is adoring those emotions. The Padawans squirming to survive... knowing that evacuation is very unlikely now... those are things that the dark side relishes in...

But at least, he will the child die with some peace...

Tyrannus grasps hold of the Jedi, causing him to release his weapon and hack desperately at his throat, attempting to fight as best as he can. Quickly, he snaps his throat, allowing his life force to fade into the Force among many. The Sith Lord deactivates his lightsaber and pulls those of the others onto his belt, feeling the thrill of the dark side fueling through him.

Despite the emotions the dark side feels, he is not a brute. Tyrannus would never enjoy the death of many Jedi that once have been his comrades. Most of them have relied on him for safety, believing that he is indeed trying to peace with the Jedi Order, but the Order deserves to fall because of them being lost in the beliefs of corrupted politicians.

He reaches into the Force and senses that only a few of the Sith have fallen to the might of the Yam'rii, but despite the certain doom among them, they are fighting back as best as they can. Explosions make themselves known in the momentary bliss, gaining the attention of the dark side. He has no concern, folding his arms across his chest before walking through the flames, splitting it up between them.

Among the crumbling Kaleesh who falls to the minefields by the Yam'rii no doubt, dying roars vibrate off of his eardrums as they collapse among themselves.

This is the war that Qymaen Jai Sheelal, now referring to himself as Grievous, has been facing for the past many years. He has witnessed so many of his loved ones perishing and, now that the Republic has been assisting the Yam'rii, the Kaleesh is becoming dying breeds who may never be granted with the opportunity to rise again to their true honor.

This conflict lasted for generations as the greedy and technologically-superior insectoid Yam'rii overran neighboring planets such as Abbaji and Tovarskl, ruthlessly colonizing them and plundering their wealth. The insatiable Yam'rii eventually attacked nearby Kalee, seeking to enslave the native Kaleesh. They captured millions of Kaleesh and sold them into slavery. Not ones to be oppressed, the Kaleesh rebelled and the two races soon became locked in violent combat.

Out of this carnage arose two seemingly invincible Kaleesh warriors, the deadly Qymaen Jai Sheelal and Ronderu Lij Kummar. The two fought courageously together, butchering thousands of Yam'rii in countless campaigns, their reputations raising to the level of demigods.

Unfortunately, Ronderu Lij Kummar eventually fell in battle against the Yam'rii on the beaches of Kalee, and a distraught Sheelal soon came to adopt the name "Grievous," surrounding himself with a legion of equally tortured handpicked "elite," known as the Izvoshra, and becoming an even more violent and rageful warlord. Leading the brigades of the kolkpravis fighting force, Grievous massacred large numbers of Yam'rii in revenge, finally driving them from Kalee.

His bloodlust and thirst for revenge do not end with the planetary retreat, and Grievous led his warriors on a campaign on the Yam'rii colony worlds, decimating both military and civilian targets. He came as far as Tovarskl, when the Yam'rii, using their connections with the Trade Federation, desperately petitioned the Republic for help.

Grievous was unable to break the Yam'rii's influence. The Senate inserted itself into the conflict and believed the Yam'rii's tall tales of the Kaleesh starting the conflict. Ruling on behalf of the Yam'rii, they dispatched a Jedi task force led by their bloody masters to stop the war. The Republic leveled harsh sanctions and reparations against the Kaleesh for their aggression, ending the Huk War. Grievous, bred for battle, was forced to return to his family as the war ended.

After the war, because of the Republic's sanctions, Kalee descended into economic devastation. Grievous watched helplessly as his wives, offspring, and fellow people starved, suffered, and slowly died, his hatred for the Republic having spiraled. Revenge to the Republic and Yam'rii has been all but addiction to him, but he has never been strong enough. It would take those Jedi to use their bloody lightsabers to stop him.

The moment Grievous learned that the Yam'rii went unpunished by the Republic while they desecrated Kaleesh burial grounds established on the colony worlds, he was furious and wanted only greater vengeance.

And that has been the life of the Kaleesh for the past many years, for he has been scrambling to fight against the Republic who falsely painted the Kaleesh species into a darkening light. And the Jedi have followed suit, helping Yam'rii and attempting to cleanse all of the Kaleesh from their homeworlds either by imprisoning them into their pitiful Republic's prisons or by wiping those who resist and fight for what they believe in.

Due to the loss of so many, even the reputation of Grievous wasn't enough to save Kalee. Indeed, he has won many battles, but the Yam'rii have ruled supremacy and mere attacks would not waver them unless they aim for a major leader.

Grievous cleaves at the Yam'rii he crosses with his spear, showing no mercy to those who are attempting to stop him, stabbing through numbers of them through their chest with his spear, accompanied by his allies, those who have not been enslaved.

Everything goes quiet, and they begin stalking across the land, waving their weapons into the air.

That is until from the shadows emerges figures who they have never seen before. It isn't long before red illuminates their surroundings-

Down they land...

Assisting the Kaleesh. Who is these Jedi and why are they helping them? Is it possible that he has been wrong about the Jedi and that they were only deceiving the Yam'rii and now are showing their true colors?

But never had he seen so much red and so much blood. The last time the Jedi have come here, even as negotiators and not as warriors, they have granted them with the opportunity to surrender their weapons over and submit to the laws of the Republic.

The Kaleesh is unable to dwell long on the 'Jedi', for Yam'rii is already engaging him and his comrade with their weapons, attacking with brute force against the Kaleeshs as they always do, taking one of the younger ones down which only fuels each of their frustrations.

Grievous block each of their strikes, moving quickly and impales the first through the chest, cleaving towards the direction of the Yam'rii wielding their weapons, apparently uncaring about the 'Jedi' in the battleground. The moment he sees those of the dead, their limbs sending sadistic relief down the spine of the Kaleesh the more he is mowing through them and protecting himself and those at his side who are moving alongside him, either firing their weapons or swinging at those who cross their direction.

The 'Jedi' is noticeably standing side by side and protecting each other from whatever bolts they can as well as the younger Kaleesh. The more he sees the 'Jedi' destroying the threat that has been allowed to sustain their power for far too long, the deeper he desires for that sort of power, to be able to touch their magical powers and finally establish back into the Kalee's rightful rule without having to concern themselves with the Republic and depend on them for stability.

Cutting the last one down, Grievous sees something, his digits wrapping around his Shoni spear tighter. Now is the time to investigate the 'Jedi' who have suddenly arrived and surely save them from their extinction, and his loyal soldiers would only follow him in the investigation, even if it means certain death.

Before he would be able to query them, in the distance, he sees something as well as feel something is not right. He leans closer, attempting to see the colors of all time, and wonders why is someone dancing along with all the violence on the planet. The other Kaleeshs follow him, prepared to win yet another attack and gain more ground now.

Grievous finds himself unable to peer past the many leaves which must have been the Jedi, prepared to wipe them out and causing him to stare over the leaves to examine the Jedi, hatred rising once more for the individuals who have been behind the involvement of the destruction of their world, but knowing that he would have to think strategically instead of attacking like a brute.

What he finds stuns him, for it is not the Jedi who are attacking one by one, but rather dueling one another. The one with a crimson blade, hooded, and darker than the rest is making quick work of them no matter their outnumbered advantages. Grievous has seen many times when one can easily kill the rest, for his campaigns have given him insight countless times.

That 'Jedi' can easily destroy them all but he is instead of waiting out the battle and allowing them to fight.

Grievous remains there, uncertain what to do, absolutely still as he witnesses the power of the Jedi clashing against another.

"Jedi!" One of the Kaleesh behind him murmurs, a youthful one among them all who have unfortunately been dragged into this war at an age that disgusts Grievous, but there is still the innocence which only spikes onto the fury at the fact that he could easily be murdered from the invaders. "What do we do against the Jedi terrorists, General?"

While Grievous wants nothing but to rush into the fray and take revenge on those dogs who have been responsible for all the suffering, he knows that he would never stand a chance. Due to those monsters, there are younger Kaleeshs who may never come to live a life because the Republic and the Order have failed them.

Grievous hesitates, loathing the words he is about to say but not allowing that to get into the way: "That one Jedi is attacking the rest. Perhaps he is on our side." He continues to think for a moment. "Allow them to perform combat and observe, and we'll decide what to do shortly. Assure to be prepared to defend yourself when the time comes."

While the Kaleesh is well aware that he can seize the opportunity to kill them by sneaky methods, there is the possibility that they may sense them coming with their mysterious Force and stop them. It wouldn't be the first time that they have done so, not with the death list of Kaleesh who they have killed or injured and brought to their planet for trial, believing that they are the aggressors.

The 'Jedi' eventually gain the advantage over the rest of the Jedi, killing them one by one in minutes, and emotions of amusement at seeing those who have stood in their way collapsing onto a heap of their own blood.

Perhaps this one, like the others with the red lightsabers, is not a threat to them.

Grievous begins taking a step forward with the rest of the Kaleesh, truly not knowing what he is going to say. In seconds, that have been his downfall, for explosions make themselves known from under him... Burning hot pain makes itself known through his body, spreading from his bones, every part of his body...

In his last moment, the Kaleesh reflects on his failures... he should have known that the Yam'rii would have placed minefields all around them and stopped them from coming... after all, they are intelligent enough and have encountered war countless times before...

This time... things have changed as Grievous's failure has led to them depending on being able to pick up minefield sensors with them intercepting all of their transmissions... Yet again, he has failed because he was incompetent and was seeking an excuse for having failed so many of his people.

It is only a shame that he cannot bathe in the blood of the Jedi.

Grievous's own roar of pain as well as the rest is the last the Kaleesh can feel before collapsing into darkness and appearing to be flowing into a void that is waiting to consume him.

Tyrannus regards all of the Kaleesh who is now embraced by the pool of his own blood. To the mind's eyes, it would appear that they have perished all at once, but that is far from the truth. While most of them are dead, there is still life from one who is among them all, deeply unconscious and damaged but there is a possibility to save them.

Perhaps allowing him to die would be a beneficial outcome especially since there is the fact that he could paint this as the Jedi being executioners.

But allowing him to live would be preferable as it would highlight to the Republic that the Jedi have been behind all of this even though they intended to apprehend the Kaleesh at a terrible cost. After all, Tyrannus has come here with the hope of gaining yet another planet for their future Empire while symbolizing the one who is saving the Kaleesh from untimely deaths.

Their Empire requires trust and leaders behind it. And what better would the galaxy be able to see what they have done with the Kaleesh than a wounded one of their kind among the massacre of all others when it is proven that the Republic has failed? All that is needed is the painted evidence that could be fabricated by the Sith and the galaxy would be one step closer to being in their hands.

The Sith Lord bends to the side of the Kaleesh at the front, concentrating the Force to wrap around the life force of the fading individual, allowing soothing calls to whisper into their ears. For a moment, it appears as if the Sith is fighting a losing battle against the edge of life and death.

Death pleads to open yet another to its call, but even that is not enough for the Force. The Sith crushes the calls of death, doing combat of all things with it until he is triumphant-

And at last, he makes a small heartbeat.

Tyrannus loosens up gently, knowing that doing otherwise may lead to a less prominent outcome or damage his mind until the point where he becomes nothing but an inconvenience.

He releases the Kaleesh and the breaths of the unconscious warrior leave him with fulfillment.

Tyrannus reaches for his comlink, contacting the droids who have been left on board. Of course, the Sith didn't expect this to be a reason behind them being utilized but whatever little bit helped.

"I need a medical crew immediately."

The droid's dark voice comes as a response, having been programmed to obey all orders unconditionally. "It will be done, my Lord."

The Sith Lord knows moving the Kaleesh without the assistance of the professionals would only cause him greater harm, but remaining at the side of the Kaleesh will be a wiser decision as of now despite wishing to contact his Master about how he has amplified their plan to turn the galaxy against their so-called saviors.

It isn't long before the droids arrive with a stretcher, undoubtedly having tracked his coordinates and wishing to carry out their orders to satisfy their creators. The Sith Lord motions to the fallen Kaleesh, causing the droids to immediately move, and grasp hold of the injured one as gently as they possibly can, before leading him down to where their shuttles are located, primarily to the main one belonging to Tyrannus himself.

The Sith Lord follows suit, sensing no other Jedi on the planet and that the Sith Apprentices under his command are not failing to carry out their plans.

Tyrannus enters his chambers and walks over to a holo-communicator, tapping a button before falling to his knees and bowing before the true Dark Lord of the Sith who is sitting on his chair, emerges. In reality, Darth Plagueis has always been an extremely tall individual, so the Sith has to crane his head to lock eye contact.

"Lord Tyrannus, how goes the operation?" The Dark Lord queries.

"It is proceeding better than we could have anticipated. I have managed to save a Kaleesh warrior who have fallen, appearing to be the leader among the other, and the hate he fills for the Republic and the Jedi Order can be manipulated to our control." Tyrannus replies.

"Oh? You are clever," the Muun Dark Lord responds. "I shall see to it that you are first taken into consideration for the new Dark Council."

"Dark Council?" Tyrannus repeats, having not been informed by this new course of action by the Muun Sith. He didn't see this coming, especially since there hasn't been one for centuries, and some Sith never even thought there would be one again.

The ruling body of the Sith Empire, the Dark Council consisted of twelve Sith Lords who each held the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. As the Sith Emperor retreated into seclusion, the Dark Council took over the day-to-day managing of the Empire, and a seat on the Council meant that one was among the most powerful individuals in the Empire—second only to the Emperor himself. In the traditional order of succession on the Council, a fallen member's apprentice was the first choice to replace them though there were other routes to gaining a seat. The Emperor himself could select new members, as he did after the two purges of traitorous Councils throughout the Empire's history, while the death of a Councilor at the hands of another Sith guaranteed that the victor would take the seat of the fallen Council member. When the traditional order of succession failed, the other members could select new Councilors during their meetings through a unanimous vote, though the Council was not always unanimous on which candidate to select.

Each Council member controlled one of the twelve Spheres of Influence within the Empire of the time, and the various Sith who served each Councilor maintained power bases of their own. Through that system of power bases, every single Sith within the Empire ultimately answered to one of the Dark Councils, and every non-Sith organization also fell under one or more of the Councilors' Spheres of Influence. The Spheres of Military Offense and Defense of the Empire were advised by the Sphere of Military Strategy, and together those three Councilors controlled the Imperial Ministry of War. The Dark Councilor at the head of the Sphere of Imperial Intelligence oversaw the Ministry of Intelligence, while the Sphere of Production and Logistics controlled the Ministry of Logistics. The Dark Councilor in charge of the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge commanded the Imperial Reclamation Service, while the Sphere of Mysteries worked in secrecy to guard the secrets of the Sith and the Sphere of Sith Philosophy ensured that the Code of the Sith was upheld and spread anti-Jedi sentiment throughout the Empire. The Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy oversaw the Imperial Diplomatic Service and the expansion of Imperial borders, and the Sphere of Laws and Justice maintained order and justice within the Empire itself. The final two Spheres, Technology, and Biotic Science, oversaw the Empire's technological advancements and medical science respectively,

It appears that Plagueis is establishing a better rule already given he already has some resources which would be helpful. The ideals of the ancient Sith Empire, while mostly frowned upon by the Muun Sith, to say the least, don't mean that Plagueis doesn't build among the foundations that have made that Empire powerful. Most of their tactics were brutal and cold, but few had reasonable intentions instead of just animals who were slaves of the dark side such as the famed Darth Marr. That is part of the Empire that they needed to assure that their Empire isn't viewed as terrorists. One good thing about the Jedi is that they have order and security in the galaxy, and with that specific trait combined with a powerful Sith Empire, they could be viewed as peacekeepers. Even though it was extremely powerful, the ancient Sith Empire has been enemies of the galaxy and that is something that they need to avoid at all cause.

Who knows? Tyrannus is amused at the sudden thought. Perhaps Plagueis would establish one with an equal amount of Sith as the Jedi Council just to mock them for their failure when they eventually deliver the final blow against the Jedi Order for one last time

"As you know, the Jedi Council has a council where they would receive advice about how to proceed with their new course of action," Plagueis retorts, tilting his head to the right and appearing to think deeply about his next agendas. "I seek a mixture of both where we would have the head of our Dark Council but how to proceed where only the Head would come to me. There shall be no Wrath, my friend, but rather Councils of Wraths who would only answer to me and me alone. True power among all, and we would win."

"I have no doubt that you would be successful in this endeavor, my Lord," Tyrannus replies, knowing that Plagueis was too deep into his plans to fail now and that the Sith has only preserved. At one point, even he wouldn't believe that the Sith wouldn't have grown as powerful as they are now and that he would have been honored to the fact that he is among their ranks. "You would have the support of many as well as the galaxy to back you shortly. The Jedi would not stand in our way, and soon we would be able to raid their Order perhaps sooner than expected."

"You have proven to be greater of an equal than Sidious ever was, Lord Tyrannus," Plagueis replies, amusement sprouting through the Force as Tyrannus's pride reaches the Dark Lord of the Sith. "Return to your planet and begin operating on the Kaleesh well enough that he would be able to speak against the Jedi and the Republic politically. Assure he is in a safe living condition. I would deploy Lord Misericors along with his Sith Apprentices to aid those onto the planet so they would be reinforced and eventually viewed as heroes."
