BNHA: Dual Fates

Chapter 29: To be free.

A/N: I changed a tiny bit with Wani in the last chapter, his monologue; I made it to where he simply forgot that he warned Shinso about Tadami targeting Uviel. XD

Also, the song in this chapter is only meant to go with Haru's dark side xD! I'm sure it doesn't follow with the scene, I'm starting to lose my touch at timing the songs with fights and situations. Dx

The song listed reminds me a lot of Tomura's voice, it's weird. xD!

But, I hope you like this chapter! ^-^

"You were the ones who attacked U.A. And you want to add me to your numbers," A strange man clad in black and red, whose outfit had ripped pieces of cloth and a dark, combat suit with bits of red, spoke. The outfit was very complex to truly describe, as for his appearance, Haru couldn't make it out no thanks to her strange, colored vision.

The brunette was tied up again, most likely to keep her from escaping. Her head dangled low as faint breaths left her parted mouth, Toga, the blonde mentioned before, continued to linger around her and watched from the sidelines.

"Yeah. Come on, you've got so much more experience as a villain, sir," Tomura answered, as, from what Haru could tell, he sat on the same bar stool from before when she first came back with her outfit on.

"What are you after?" The strange man who they invited, questioned rather cautiously and hadn't moved an inch.

"For now, I just want to kill All Might," With a tilt of his head, Shigaraki replied before he continued. "I want to break everything I don't like," a raise of his hand showed pictures of Izuku and some others behind the photo, hidden. "Damn kids like this, too... Everything," After he explained, he watched the guy lower his head and glare.

Although, a quick glance to the left, he spotted Haru's restrained figure in a chair before viewing Tomura again. "I was foolish to be interested. You're the type of person I hate the most," All he received was a questioning sound from the league leader, which notified him to continue. "You want me to go along with your childish tantrum? What meaning is there in killing without conviction?" asked the new man, who grasped the hilt of his blades.

Despite the bartender's hidden thoughts, he turned with a lift of his hand and questioned a screen that was lit up with purple; Haru had no idea that there was one, to begin with. "Master, is it all right to let this continue?" his deep voice questioned, only to earn a delighted male voice in return.

"This is fine! There's no point if we just tell him the answer. He should think about where he still needs to mature. Spur on his growth! That is what it means to educate," from the screen, a reply came, followed by a light chuckle; after a moments' pause, he continued. "Ah, that reminds me- Have you begun the session with Haru Yukimura, yet?" Even though their situation with the new man was dire, he couldn't help but question Tomura about his plans.

"I was going to, but we invited him so it'll have to wait," Shigaraki's red eyes never left the man in red and black; he certainly never expected to hear a suggestion from their master soon after, either.

"Might I suggest, a hands-on, session? To push her further into accepting herself, she must embrace her craving for death. However, to do so, it'd be best to direct her cravings towards meaningful kills. Deaths that will provide progress, none that are senseless, since- from what you've told me, she is kind and positive. A death with meaning or progression will be more satisfying than one without," after he explained, Tomura's eyes moved to view the brunette who perked her head up.

The screams, the tears he saw during the rainfall when the festival was underway, came flooding back to him like a storm. Self-harming herself after she satisfied her desire to kill, to sate her dark sides' hunger for death, and watching the blood trickle down her forehead from the bashes she made. He felt a tug at his heart that he thought could never move, it surprisingly pained him to see her in such a state those few days ago.

His dry hand that rested on the surface of the bar, clenched, before he stood and calmly walked over to her. Everyone watched with wonder, curious as to why the leader decided to get up and focus on the girl. The new man's eyes followed the villain across the room with caution, though widened by a fraction, when he saw him lift her chin to face him.

"Tell me... Why are you so scared, to accept your darker side? That side of you is still who you truly are- Your light and dark should both coexist. To push one away and only allow the other to stay, will only make you go insane. Let it out, show us, if you must; why you don't want it around," a long silence filled the room after that, he couldn't help but stare at her parted lips that moved to speak.

Even when she tried to, the right words to use wouldn't come out. Her mouth kept moving but stumbling words would only leave her lips, it began to frustrate the girl the more she tried to speak. "No... No, no, no, no, no! I can't let it show, it's too dangerous, it'll make me kill everything in here! Everyone! I don't want to hurt anyone!" This time, even though she tried to play it cool before, an outburst came out whether than a thorough explanation as to why.

A harsh grip of Tomura's hand around her jaw made her head stiffen, so it would sit still. Dangerously close to her face, he was, so his red eyes could see the fear on her face. "You will...show us," Anger could be heard in his voice, she could hear and feel it in her senses. "Does your fear blind you far more, than what you are now? We will be able to handle whatever you throw at us, if you did," Confidence laced his words before he let go and stood up straight.

Her head dropped after she felt his hand leave, fear made her whole body shake. Not much longer did she feel Toga place a hand on her shoulder, it made the brunette's head turn in her direction.

"It's okay. I used to try and hide my desires too, it disgusted people; but after joining the league I was able to feel free and more accepting of myself!" a cheerful voice reached her ears when Haru felt the girl raise her hands in her strange, colored vision.

"Heh...hehe, okay, fine," A wicked grin grew on the brunette's lips when she spoke. It was eerie, ominous, a side of her that she never liked to show. "So, you claim that I'm too blind by my fear, far more than what I already am...?~" her sinister grin never fell, those protruding snake fangs made it all the more creepy after her head rose. "Let's test that, shall we?~" As if on cue, time slowed down when everyone saw the rope that bound her, fall into a pile behind the chair.

(Play: The Mountain by Blue stalhi! It's one of her character themes! :D)

Nobody knew how she even managed to get free so easily, unless... Toga gasped when she saw nail marks from Haru's clawed gloves; she had slowly cut them the whole time the new man near the door, arrived. As she stood to her feet in the slowed time, her head remained low and taunting.

Time returned to normal when she bent over and cut the binds around her feet with her clawed, thin, gloves. She was free, only for a moment, she chose to set her dark desires free just so she can make an attempt to escape. "Heheheheee, come ooooon, let's dance.~ Are you afraid, to be bested by a blind girl?~" Her body began to sway from side to side, slightly, performing a tiny bit of the same mocking dance she did in front of Shinso some days ago. It was much slower, provocative, and her grin never faltered once.

"You're driving my patience," Tomura's gaze squinted upon seeing her mocking dance up close. He was aware of it since he saw her do it in front of her opponent, in the tournament, but to see her do it in front of him only irked him.

Everything suddenly went by too fast, the girl had disappeared with a quick twirl and a sharp sting pricked at his neck. Wide with shock, everyone's eyes watched the brunette move almost as fast as Tadami. Her dagger was pulled out when she appeared behind him in midst of her spin and nicked his neck.

She was aiming to kill, but what stopped her dagger, was a blade from the new man who blocked her swing. Shigaraki spun around to step away from her, just to see the two disappear and collide blades. Amusement played at her sinister, open smile when she was pushed back with a harsh kick from Stain.

Haru's foot prevented herself from crashing, instead, she simply pushed off of the wall and swerved her body flexibly, like a snake across the floor, and avoided two swings from his blades. Skillful, flexible, her head swayed and her body moved as if it was a dance to dodge his slashes. I want out! in her mind, she screamed, with desire and anger despite the grin plastered. So, with a slithering motion, Haru leaned back so far, that it looked almost like it'd break if it went any further, to dodge his foot.

The girl simply put her hands on the floor in that position and brought up her legs to snatch it; it made Stain fall to the floor, he didn't have time to catch her before she disappeared from the door. It was left wide open and no one said anything after that.

Outside she ran, weaving through alleyways and citizens who crowded the streets. Her dagger sliced through necks and other limbs, to cause blood to paint the ground. People screamed, ran for their lives, and one of them tried to call for a hero but their throats were slit within seconds when she zipped by. With the iron in the air, the smell of blood snapped her out of her spree of kills and caused the girl to halt in her sprint.

(Song ends her)

What am I doing!? I'm out now, I gotta stop! Heavy breaths, she panted after recognition hit and her sinister grin finally faded into a parted frown. Then and there, she shook like a leaf as everyone scrambled to run away from her. On her knees, she fell and her arms wrapped around her torso to try to calm her quivering.

Flashes of her past returned when cries for help came from the fear-struck citizens. Memories of herself pleading for help when she was being thrashed by her father on the floor. Fear, pain, everything, once again all came out in one long scream that startled the nearby citizens enough to make them freeze. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" A harsh stab of her dagger, dug into the pavement of the road before she stood up, with one hand pushing off of her knee.

The honks from the vehicles behind her were soon silenced when her dagger was tossed over her head to puncture their windshield. All cars stopped their horns when that happened and silence befell the atmosphere, everyone remained quiet as she stood there to ponder.

I don't want to be a villain! I don't want to be! I won't! But I killed too many in public, everyone's going to see me like one! Why?! Why did this have to happen?! Why me?! Tears trickled down her cheeks from beneath her mask when her thoughts echoed. Her gritted teeth showed from the frustration she felt, however, the girl never knew the pairs of eyes in the shadows that watched intently.

The members of the league had followed her up to that point and witnessed the countless deaths. Toga's eyes stared in awe as her smile broadened, however, Tomura's contemplative hues noticed how happy she seemed when she killed. The amusement on her face, her sinister grin, to him it just seemed like she enjoyed it deep down and hates to admit it to herself. "I'll break that... She needs to accept herself. It's annoying to watch her fight herself all the time, we don't do that," a scratch of his neck for only a moment, occurred, before he tried to approach her with slow steps.

The sound of his shoes made her ears twitch when she picked up on his pace; that, alone, made her sprint for her dagger from the driver's windshield to retrieve it and disappear out of sight.

She was gone... A bloody mess and devastated citizens were all that got left behind, aside from the members who stared at the spot she vanished from. "Toga," Tomura rose his voice to gain the girl's attention, which her head perked up with a blink of her eyes. "Find her and bring her back," As simple as can be, he turned and made his way back into the shadows with everyone else.

A dramatic salute was what he received, before a- yes sir, was given. Not a few seconds later did the blonde rush off to try and catch up to the brunette. "She warned you, didn't she? What do you plan to do after she's brought back?" the bartender questioned after a portal was opened for them to all enter.

"I'm going to train her to direct her urges to kill, toward something more progressive and meaningful as our master suggested. Her father, wants her to become the same villain as him, however, she doesn't want to. Being forced into being someone your not, doesn't bring out the most potential, it only limits it. After hiring Tadami to bring her here, Miss Muni started paying me to keep her here until she can visit," as he said this, he walked through the portal and into the bar to sit down at the barstool again. "I recently heard from her that she was in the city again, so it won't be long now..." adding to his speech, he returned his attention back to Stain who never left to begin with.

"You defended me- Why?" Shigaraki's question only made the new man squint his eyes with anger. If anything, anger bubbled up the more he thought about their previous conversations, including the one between Haru and the leader.

"I was trying to subdue her, it was annoying. I didn't do it for you," Stain's reply made the pale man tighten a fist over the bar's surface.

~~~Elsewhere~~~
"Hm, maybe if I help look for her, it'd speed the process up. The Principal's adamant, he will stop at nothing until she's found. He and Mr. Aizawa both told me not to go look for her at her house, lest I risk getting killed," Shinso's voice rang through the atmosphere as the back of his head showed. In his hands carried groceries and his purple gaze never left the sky while he walked, thoughts continued to swirl.
Images of her many, excited, and happy grins appeared in his mind; along with her sinister ones that still kept him questioning. Competitive, supportive, outgoing, caring, considerate, protective, daring, all of which piqued his interest. "She told me about her dark cravings, that she's constantly trying to fight it. Her father's trying to force her into something she's not or doesn't want to be. The only thing I can think of is, sending her to the league of villains will push her to accept more of her dark side. This irks me..." a faint grumble of anger resonated from his throat, many people would be able to see it on his face.
The grip on the grocery bags tightened from the memories he recalled during the sports festival, the hospital, during school, and when he carried her for Uviel. This doesn't feel right. I have to do something, anything, to find her! in his mind, he raged. However, heavy thuds from around the corner he was about to turn, reached his ears before he nearly collided with hard muscles.
The boy fell back on his butt afterward, nearly all of his groceries spilled from their bags save for the few oranges and a small jug of milk. "You're that kid from before!" A very familiar voice was what made his head lift up. There, he saw the Crocodile man, hidden in a large cloak with a hand offering to assist him.
Hitoshi felt himself get yanked to his feet after he gladly accepted, almost instantly Wani picked up those bits of groceries that fell. "Yes- Is something wrong?" Asked the violet-haired boy, who stared blankly at the panting Crock.
"Everything is wrong! That Hitman you've met before, I mentioned this before but he's going to kill Saito! I warned you about him when Haru left to go change before, remember? Where is she?" Through heavy breaths, he asked, in hopes of reaching the small girl before Tadami does.
"I don't know? Students received offers for internships, so I'm guessing that's where she's at; with her trainer," now it was his turn to feel a little panic. "Let me drop my groceries off, I'll ask Mr. Aizawa who she went with," Quickly, Shinso sprinted and left the man who stood at six feet and eight inches, alone awkwardly on the sidewalk.
Perhaps, ten minutes or so, he came back with his bag on his shoulder and rushed past the tall Crock. "Let's go!" he didn't need to look behind him to know that Wani followed. Her friend's in danger, the least I can do is try to save her before it's too late! If we can trap that Hitman and force him to answer us, we'll be able to find Haru. After those thoughts echoed with urgency, they sprinted past citizens.
