BNHA: Dual Fates
Chapter 47: Cyber Doctor?
A/N: Warning! Gore and brutality will be at the beginning of this chapter! O:
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
A Gatling gun dangled against Muni's backside as she strode near the ally where she first entered the hideout. Clacks from her feet sounded and those furious eyes that hadn't changed since she left the Teacher's presence, remained glaring into the space before her. Those silver pigtails bounced lightly from her pace, however, after she lifted her free hand and noticed some rotted spots on her skin, a scowl formed.
I need to eat again... there was no care in her monologue when she spoke and lifted her black eyes to a man that was about to pass up the alley she was headed to. He'll do. Simply put, just when he was about to pass her and gasped at her visage, he made an attempt to sprint but was immediately grabbed.
"Hey- let go of me, you crazy bitch!" From his white shirt, she pulled and dragged him behind her. "I'm talking to you!" Anger filled his eyes when he lifted a fist to try and punch her, but all failed when she whipped him in front of her with a harsh swing. "What the-" before he could even say anything else, her hand jammed into his mouth and ripped out his tongue. Gagging, gurgling, reaching for his neck, he couldn't scream...
No words, silence, Muni continued to drag him with a rough clench into his hair and forced him to walk. For dear life he smacked at her hands with his own that were covered in blood, it was useless since she pulled on him like a dog on a leash and finally reached the door to the hideout.
A kick with her foot was used to knock and when Kuro asked who it was from the other side, with an annoyed tone she answered. "A zombie," Her voice, distinct and familiar to the misty man, signified that she was Miss Muni.
Kachunks and clunks echoed from the door being unlocked, so she waited for it to open and Kuro's gaze widened upon the sight when she barged in after it did. Blood drooled from the victim in her grasp with a trail of it behind him as she made her way towards the bar and heard the door close.
Dabi, Toga, Tomura, Kurogiri all watched with astonishment after she whipped around to grab the man's face and lift him into the air. Down came his head, smashing, slamming the back of it against the surface of the counter to the point where his skull caved in and left pieces of his brain to trickle down the edge. The whole time his poor cries that sounded more like gurgles, screeched throughout the room until silence befell his now fresh corpse.
Next, with her glasses removed from a swift motion of her hand, her face quickly reached the corpse's neck and ripped out his throat. Crimson gushed and splattered from his neck as she tore into him, tearing his flesh and devouring his insides.
Dabi nearly puked, for he had to leave the room and hide in the hallway to avoid doing so. Tomura, Toga, Kuro all watched with gaped mouths and bewildered faces, however, the dirty-blond seemed to appear excited at the sight of the flying gore. She took notice of the blood that now tainted the woman's clothes and hair, though she couldn't see her face since her back was to them. "Miss Muni, you're so cool!" With her hands to her cheeks, she cooed and wiggled excitedly.
Very slowly they watched the woman's leaned-over position move slightly when her head turned and peeked through the tainted strands of her pigtails; the same substance caked her mouth while she chewed on flesh that still lingered in it. Those black, piercing eyes, bore into red ones across from her before she stood up straighter and ignored a rag that Kuro offered her.
Tomura watched her barely rotted skin recover after her feast and glared daggers back at the woman, that was until she spoke. "Shigaraki... A Teacher in black will be following me. If he gets in my way too much, I'll kill him," threat laced her words after a gentle wipe with her hand removed what blood it could. "Yukimura is dead and his kid was taken to the hospital... Her dark side is too strong to fight, so if she battles against it while she's at U.A she'll have a harder time doing so. It became strong while she was here, so I doubt she'd be able to hold it back much in there," explained the dead woman, for she adjusted the glasses after it was placed over her eyes and folded her arms.
Much like a lady, on a stool, she sat with one leg crossed over the other and trickling blood faintly tapped against the floor. It was hard to ignore the stench she made, even Shigaraki curled his nose in disgust. "Clean this up," laced with venom in his words, pure hatred for the woman could be seen in his glinting eyes.
"No... This is your hideout, I brought him in here so I could devour him in secret. Wouldn't want any blood paths leading to your door, would you?" Low and full of anger, she answered. Those black eyes bore dangerously into his and they stared at each other for the longest time, trying to predict each others' next words. "The small trail from his red drool will get wiped away in the rain... It'll pour again soon, I could smell it," she added with no care in her voice.
He knew she was right and that alone made his anger boil more. "Why did All For One put an alliance between us when he knew we weren't going to get along? I don't like you... You're annoying," questioning, angering, the man's fingers twitched with the temptation to kill her as he spoke.
"The feeling's mutual... And I won't tell you a damn thing, either. Just work together and get this out of the way, then we can part," After her reply, she saw how furious the man became and watched his lips part to speak, but was overrun by Kuro's sudden words.
"Miss Muni, if we are to be allied... Then why not at least tell us what your goal is. All For One is already aware of what help you want from us in return, but he never told us what it was. We'd appreciate it more than you know. Because blind cooperation like this could lead to betrayal," the bartender explained as he began to dispose of the corpse and wipe down the counter of all its gore.
"Fine... Whatever gets you off of my back," Angry, her eyes closed and sat there to ponder for a moment. Everyone was interested, even Toga who tilted her head just slightly with her creepy smile. "I... Want to tear this man apart. A man who killed me, a man who's in hiding and I want to give him hell. This man is named Goroganda, my goal is to make sure he dies screaming in agony with many severed limbs and caked in his own blood," A murderous look in her eyes, pure rage replaced her more tamed anger and made her teeth grind roughly at the thought of the traitor.
"Goroganda... Why does he sound familiar?" Suddenly, from the hall, cam Dabi who scratched at his head and locked his blue hues to her dead ones.
"Do you know something?" Kuro turned to view him and placed his bloody rag into a sink nearby.
"Yeah. That man, Goroganda, I think I heard people spread rumors about him. No one knew of his name, except me. I only ran into him once on the street... He introduced himself as Goroganda and offered a free appointment to me for- something. I don't remember much," as soon as he answered, a glint of hostility flashed in the dead woman's eyes and her hand lightly gripped at the handle of her Gatling gun, which leaned against the bar.
"Tell me, where did you meet that bastard?" Eager, she was, and Dabi knew it. So with a grin on his lips and mischievousness shining in his hues, he answered.
"Why should I tell you? You might run off and leave the league hangin'... Hell, you'd abandon the alliance too, now wouldn't you?" With a cocky grin, his hands moved into his pockets and watched her stand from the stool.
Calmly she walked, eyes still locked onto blue ones and once she was close enough, several inches from his face, her hand strongly grasped his throat and held him up into the air. "I'll find out from someone else then... I don't need answers from you if you're going to play games," tighter and tighter her grasp became as death flashed through her eyes with the intent to kill. She didn't care who she had to kill, for the belief of be-ridding all who slowed her down or got in her way outweighed the importance of keeping their alliance alive. "All For One told me that if we worked together, I could find Goroganda in the process of destroying the very roots of All Might for you. But if you tease me, slow me down, or get in my way then I won't have any problems killing you myself," answered the dead woman, rather dangerously.
At that moment, just when he was about to flash his flames with a flick of his wrist, her own hand released him in mid-air to let his feet catch himself from the few-inch fall and interrupt his attempt. Blood from her victim had printed onto his neck, he could tell because of the slightly wet sensation and the smell just beneath his nose. "I don't trust you at all," quietly mumbled he spoke and saw how her gaze lingered on his before she walked back over to the stool.
"I don't care if you do or not," A simple answer came from her after she sat down like a lady again. The only thing that remained in her mind was the face of Goroganda, the day before she died, and how he smiled lovingly, reassuringly down at her. Those dead fingers clenched her bicep at the image as her anger filled her mind more and more, the feeling of being betrayed only enticed it.
"The mall," Suddenly, out of the long silence, Dabi spoke up and put his hands in his pockets. Those dead eyes opened to the blue-eyed man and gestured with her stare, for him to continue. "It was years ago but I ran into him at the mall, I doubt he's still there." his words made her attention move forward and view the bloodied floor beneath her, it was clear that she pondered on his answer.
Without a response of any kind, she simply stood up and brushed past him to enter the hallway. Moments later, after they situated themselves and all of the blood was gone, the woman came back cleaner than a whistle. No stains, no gory smell, she must've used removal to get rid of it on her clothes and bathed. "With that girl being at U.A, her dark side's bound to kill people on the inside undetected. Doing so, if it all plans out well, she'd kill eventually kill the whole school. I'm saying this to be fair since you coughed up that bit of info about Goro... Bye," simply put, Muni unlocked the door and left without another word.
~~~Uviel~~~
Thoughts of her first kiss given to the boy she had a crush on, made her feel so dazed as she left the Arcade. She wasn't the only one, for even Kirishima practically stared into space and felt Kamihara behind them. The sensation of their lips together still lingered and their hands shyly encompassed each other while they did their best to ignore their beating hearts.
They cheered and rooted for me? They wanted me to make a move? Or him to make a move? They... Supported us? Her thoughts echoed and felt the warmth of his hand on hers. Both of their cheeks burned red but they did nothing to hide add Edgeshot loved the young love blooming before him.
I don't care which one of us made a move, but I was surprised she did first! I wanted to be a man and make my move but she did it first, she's so manly! His heart felt like it was about to burst at that moment. Her adorable red face, nervous, shy, and moved toward his lips when he felt hesitant; it was like a dream come true. I hope she's alright though, will she be okay during school? Will she be able to study straight?! Now his mind was panicking, he didn't think about that part. Those red eyes peeked at her tiny frame to his side and saw her glance up at him, only for them both to avert their gazes.
"Hahaha, you two are so cute!" Haru burst between them and wrapped an arm around their necks to pull them together. "Hey- UV-Ray. Don't you need to go to your cyber doctor today, since it's your birthday?" Curious, a disappointed frown grew on her lips when those blind hues stared into the space before her.
"A- ah, yeah! Is it okay if I go, Kamihara?" The cybergirl peeked over her friend's arm and over her shoulder at the ninja who bore his gaze into hers.
"Yes, if it's needed. I'll go in with you too, to make sure nothing happens," Answering, Edgeshot had an idea. The thought of her going to her doctor made his caution rise over her well-being. If she's going to her cyber doctor then this is a chance for me to see if what Saito said, was true. Aizawa and Principal Nezu warned me about the doctor after their discussion one time. I can't speak of any suspicion about her doctor or the rumors, lest she falls unconscious like a machine shutting down; I can't risk it. His monologue finished after she saw the girl view her best friend again and their conversation became inaudible to his ears, he was too busy pondering on the appointment soon to come.
"Sorry, Eijiro... No one can't go in with me, nor Haru... Kamihara can because he can turn into thread and stay hidden, but- Unless it's a guardian or a parent, no one is allowed in," her eyes, full of disappointment, fell to the ground as they walked toward the doctor's building and hoped he was okay with it.
"Ah- alright that's fine, then! I'll wait outside with Yukimura and..." Kiri paused for a moment to look over his right shoulder and glance at two other guys who followed them.
Glaring dangerously and competition shooting between the two's wordless conversations, Hitoshi and Kyoshi both finally looked at the darker redhead. "Them- By the way, why are they following us?" questioned the boy, who looked at Haru's confused face and blinked.
"I've nooo idea, dude," her hazy hues looked away towards the clouds to avoid any lies being detected. It's true, she lied, she knew why but she still didn't understand why they acted that way towards her. She was afraid, because, she didn't understand why they thought about her that way and it made nervous sweat trickle down her tan cheeks.
Upon saying that, Kamihara glanced at the two guys to the side and took a mental note of their actions. He couldn't stop the grin that grew behind his mask, for he knew exactly what it was and it amused him. The rivalry sparks flying between them, their gazes constantly glancing at the brunette, he knew very well what was going on.
It took a while but they were finally there. In front of the doors, a simple clinic-looking building, Saito turned to face them all and frowned. "Sorry- I'll be back out in about an hour or so, okay?" the girl hoped they would understand and after she saw them nod, a smile graced her lips before she went in. Eijiro, Haru, Wani, and Shinso all remained outside while Edgeshot sneaked his way in using his quirk.
Though it looked like a simple clinic inside and out, she knew the operations room was very different. There she sat, sitting in the waiting room and fidgeting with her feet. It literally did not take long for the doctor to come in and linger in the doorway to the operations room. "Saito, you've arrived. You're not as late as you were before," Out of the countless times she's seen him, he always wore that strange facemask and his weird hair that was tied back into a low ponytail.
Those piercing red eyes that gleamed through the bronze mask's holes always gave her the creeps, but she was practically used to him regardless. "Yeah, I had a party today and my best friend reminded me of my once-a-year appointment," A sweatdrop fell down her head when she recalled how bad her memory was and gave him a nervous smile in hopes of him understanding.
"You're doing better. Now, come in, I'm quite busy so I want to finish up soon," With a gesture of his finger, he left through the door and she trekked quickly across the floor to catch up to him.
Through a long hallway that seemed to host a descending staircase, she followed behind the man in a doctor's coat who wore a simple white shirt and dress pants. The staircase was growing darker as the light became dimmer and when he turned to open the door with a key card, they both walked in. He didn't know about the red stream that slipped inside before the doors closed and locked.
There in the center of the dimly lit room full of dull blue lights, sat a metal examination table that she managed to crawl onto. "You know what you have to do, I'll leave the room for you to get dressed," with his hands in his pockets, he walked away and entered a separate room and left the door open. It seemed he sat down at a computer and the sounds of a mouse clicking could even be heard from where she sat.
A sigh escaped her lips when she looked around. Just below her feet was a hospital gown and so, she began to undress with burning cheeks. Kamihara knew not to watch so he averted his gaze and paid closer attention to the doctor hiding in the other room. Now's my chance... caution and suspicion, he mumbled in his mind.
Quickly, while he remained in his thread form, he hovered over toward the door and peeked into the separate room. There the doctor sat, he noticed several pages of documents and information on the screen so he tried to get a closer look. Something was off, it felt like he was hiding something because once he was close enough the screen flashed to change to an internet page before he got to read what was on it.
He had hoped to catch him talking to himself, but it didn't happen, so he looked around to try and find some sort of information on the man. Those gray eyes examined the room, which was purely empty save for the computer and chair... There wasn't anything at all to take note of except the documents he didn't get to read behind his back.
A gasp almost left his lips if he hadn't closed his lips and disappeared more so the doctor couldn't see him while he stood. He watched the man turn to leave and glanced at the computer just to see a locked screen, a password was needed. Whoever he is, he's smart... There's barely anything in this clinic except for this room, the waiting room, and the operations room with only the necessities. I need to look into him more... mumbled the ninja as he stared through the open door and watched him approach the now dressed Uviel.
"Alright, lay down please," he demanded and she did as she was told. A stretch of some blue doctor gloves snapped in place and his red eyes, bore into her nervous blue ones before he reached below the table. Out came a couple of cyber limbs closely similar to hers and laid them close to her legs.
He began to detach one whole arm at a time, carefully, so as to not do any damage and got to work. Kamihara found it strange how he worked so well with cybernetics, he watched the whole thing, how he replaced her arms and started to work on her legs next. After he was finished with her limbs, he walked close to her head and glanced down at her for a moment. "I'll have to make you sleep for a moment. I need to adjust some things around your spine," warned the doctor, after he saw her nod and close her eyes, a switch motion with a hand behind his back, made her shut down.
That perked the ninja, for he didn't know how he managed to make her sleep without so much as touching her and that was something he needed to take note of. How did he put her to sleep so quickly? Is he using a quirk or is there a switch somewhere on the back of her head? Or maybe... he paused and pondered more the longer he watched the man work on her spine. He recalled what the teachers said and how she shut down, he hoped he was getting close to finding the culprit. Maybe he's the one who keeps shutting her down. Finally, he finished and saw the man complete his task before stepping away.
"There," The doctor was done and admired his work. Her limbs made her look a little older now, just a tiny bit to indicate she was a year older. With a swift motion of his fingers, after being placed into his coat's pocket, her eyes squinted and opened.
"H- Huh?" Blinking curiously she slowly sat up and looked at her cybernetics. "Ah, cool. They look older, thanks," a passive, nervous smile graced her upper-black lips, and took notice of an amused glint in his red eyes. The sight sent shivers down her spine, but she brushed it away almost instantly and watched him leave to the separate room.
"Get dressed, I'll see you next year," with a nod of his head, he turned and left the girl there alone to dress.
One last thing, after her shoes were put on, her hues glanced at the doctor for a couple of minutes before she turned to leave. He's as creepy as always... mumbled the girl, unaware of the red eyes that peeked at her through the side of the doorway to the separate room.
He watched her after she got dressed, he knew something was different about her visit and kept his eyes glued to her frame; that was until he spotted a red stream behind her. I knew it. Quiet, in his mind, he spoke and saw how it left through the door that he unlocked through the computer moments ago. The moment they were gone, he removed his bronze mask and exposed the sharp teeth that looked as though they could bite through sheer iron.
A nasty, wicked grin, those wide and eerie cybernetic eyes all proved how amused and excited he was. Hehehe, this is perfect.~ I finally... Get to test out my convertible weapon! My energy cannon! I wasn't able to access her robot pet but I was able to attach those cannons and make it compatible with her claws! Again, he exclaimed with excitement and soon enough laughter filled the small room. "Hahahaha!" his laugh echoed loudly throughout the room and reached up the staircase where Uviel nearly felt shivers down her spine as though a ghost existed behind her.
Just before they left, with Kamihara opening the door for her, he saw how afraid she became and watched her glance behind her again. "What's wrong?" Those gray eyes blinked with worry, however, when she turned to him and smiled it made him more cautious than anything.
"N- Nothing, really. Let's just go, okay?" With that, she left. Followed by the ninja who kept giving cautious glares at the other door before he too, exited the front doors.
~~~Time skip~~~
At her house, it was night time and Uviel was cooking dinner for two. Haru and Eijiro were both walked home by Wani and Kyoshi, since the brunette insisted on doing so herself; now it was only the lighter redhead and Edgeshot.
The ninja himself watched her cook some meat and potatoes on the burners, observing her from the distance was a good way to know her better; to see how much she already knows. "You cook well," he complimented and leaned his lower back against the table's edge.
"Thanks... I had to learn how to since I lived on my own for so long," a straight answer, quiet and a little upset, the thought of growing up alone in her house saddened her, and was thankful for Haru being her friend after all this time.
"You know... You just turned sixteen and you only have a few years left before you're a full-grown adult. Have you considered my offer?" curious this time, he pulled a chair out and sat down, with his back to her.
"W- Well- I have... I'm just..." hesitance could be heard in her voice as she tried to find the right words and finished up the food. "Scared of- the whole idea. B- But... I think it'd be... Kinda cool if you were my d-dad," Flushed red cheeks, it felt nice to have someone she admired as an idol in the same home as her. She felt safe, she didn't feel as lonely right now and it was nice. "I- I mean, I know I should probably give it some more thought but it feels... Nice, to be able to be around you. I feel safer, for some reason. You're not like my parents as you said, so you won't die as they did and leave me all alone... If it's okay- I'd like for you to..." again, she trailed off, purely nervous about how to answer him until his words lit up her eyes with astonishment.
"Alright, then. I'll confront an adoption agent, so I can fill out the paperwork. Will you be willing to come with me to speak with them and confirm that your the said child being adopted?" His gray hues peeked over his shoulder to see her bringing over two plates of food, which were soon placed in front of him and on the other side of the table.
"S- Sure," simply put, her answer was hesitant, full of nervousness but nonetheless true. The moment she sat down across from him and picked up her fork, very slowly she peeked at him to see him do the same.
Curiosity was overwhelming, she wanted to see his face, and when his mask was pulled down to eat she nearly flipped out in her mind. He was actually really attractive for his age, with sharp, handsome features and thin lips that complimented his piercing eyes. She was so caught up in watching him eat that she hadn't noticed how long she was staring. As soon as he glanced at her astonished features, she instantly began to chow down and did her best to ignore his face.
"I figured, if we're going to be father and daughter, I should at least give you the privilege to see my face. I really appreciate you accepting my offer, I'm very relieved!" A closed-eye smile seemed to have changed his intense, natural expression to more of a friendly one and it almost made her spit out her food.
"Y- Yeah, and thank you- too," her finger scratched at her cheek before she continued to eat her food and ignore his features, it was just too surprising to not stare so it made it hard. I need to visit Hatsume tomorrow morning, I was told to at least... I hope Mr. Aizawa was informed about my visit ahead of time. Her thoughts echoed for a moment, for he pondered on who it was that attacked her and it angered her a little.
